This episode continues the short departure from the deep dive into the history in Deuteronomy. In chapter 8, Moses tells the people of the iron and copper they will find in Canaan. In the past couple of episodes, I covered the Copper, Bronze, and Iron Ages. Embedded in those was the transition from bronze to iron, and era precipitated by what’s known as the Bronze Age collapse, which included the migration of many people, including the legendary Sea Peoples.
