In the dry states of the southwest, there's a group that's been denied of basic human rites in the nation.

Today, a third of our households don't have running water.

but that's not something they chose for themselves. Can the nav hoo people, we claim their right to water and contend with the government's legacy of control and neglect? That's in the next season of the claimed the lifeblood of naoh. Ona, listen now, whatever you get your podcast.

When I stumbled upon an old box full of V H S. Tapes and police reports, I didn't expect uncover connections to several on sell murder near my hometown a bit, investigating how these murders could .

be connected to a group called the lords of death. Check out this clip from the show. So tim attach on his ARM.

That was just letters. I said, L, O, D. And I ask mike what L, D, stood for.

And I was told a, stood for lords of death. So ask, you know, for the meaning behind IT. And only a couple people had the tattoo, apparently.

And in order to get the tattoo, you had to take someone soul as and murder someone is what I was told, but never really clicked with me, that I was like they were really the lords of death. I could just see them being like a cool were the lords of death. And that really meaning nothing, is how I looked at IT. But I was wrong .

and meant a lot.

And assure banks posted the new tender foot v podcast, lords of death, foreign frie bench subscribed a tender foot plus, a tender foot plus outcome .

Hello, 嘿。 I'm scared. I'm not scared. Can you tell me? Yeah, I can hear you take on the hand is broken on the hand. They called me.

All my family said the Fisherman could hook out, and then he pull the fuck in ahead in. Have to go. Identifier O.

K, I know, I know. It's very be good. I will be by myself. I can be by myself.

okay? Um where's your brother at what you call your brother and and tell him what you told me. Not answer no response is not answer ing on my possible creating my man right now I.

Keeking me. Hear me. Yeah, okay, I just got ta call from blair. She's really upset.

SHE says that they found a head in the water and they think that I might be flow and they want you want her to go identify IT that that all that I know. So I said I would call you, and I don't know more details. OK, okay, thank you for calling.

Every single part of a missing person's case is a tragedy. The weight of this kind of loss I truly cannot imagine. The searching, the not knowing in the constant fear of finding out the worst.

A few months ago, I just flown back from elastic, and I met my Younger brother, Mason, at a local bar in atlanta, a beer. The first question he asked me was, how's the case going by the time the beers at the table? I checked my phone and I noticed five missed calls from blair close sister.

This was unusual. I had an awful good feeling. I stepped away into the bathroom and call her back.

喂, 嘿。

Fifteen minutes later i'm back sitting next to my brother, who is looking at me like i'm insane. And all I could say was you're not going to believe what has happened. What my instincts told me was that blair was seriously in distress and something bad had really happened here. So I started calling other friends and family of forms for them to fine blair as soon as possible to figure out what happens next. Throughout the next several hours, I receive various text anxiously awaiting some form of update.

Who told her this are the police involved? Was that a real human head they found in the water is this fluence ocp oex body? Then things became a little motier, and that skeptic part of my brain kicked done.

Did anyone actually find anything at all? The rumor mill in a small town like malasia is incomparable to almost any other town in the lower forty eight. And I seen my fair share of unsolved of murders in small town america, o.

Sola, georgia, crustal, colorado, grounding montana. But name is different, much more isolated from the rest of the world. And sometimes people simply start saying should, and most of the time it's hurtful, negative and false.

The tRicky part is sometimes they're telling the truth. It's so easy forward to get lost in the sea of White noise. The following more, I was up at six A M sharp in full investigation mode. Calling and texting everyone I can think of. Also being conscious that a false alarm like this.

Is devastating ing.

Ultimately, I did find the truth. No head was found in the water. Nobody either. No clothing, nothing at all, actually, just a couple of drunk townies spreading lies to flow.

Sister, arguably in our most vulnerable state, when the cats out of the bag, that someone, anyone serious at all, is actively pursuing the truth in the disappearance, people start to act strAngely. Sometimes it's almost like people can help themselves and have to say something no matter how long sensor is. In other times, people are intentionally making up false rumours to throw off an investigation.

In this case, I think we're dealing with the latter. Needless to say, things are complicated. The tRicky est pod, in navigating a true crime investigation of this nature, is knowing when to divulge, what information in win and what to do with all the tips are receiving, literally daily.

In the meantime, you can't keep chasing all the White rabbits, but you can snore them either. And right now, i'm sitting on a mountain of information, and i'm hoping that somewhere in there is a real answer. So it's been a while. I know I said june and now it's August. I'm sorry.

It's also been a while since FLorence OPPO like when missing Angels of bolder as one thousand four hundred and thirty five days since flow in missing two thousand nine hundred and sixty three, and choices that, and i'm emphasizing this truly because of how dumb founded i've become by the lack of response in both of these cases by law enforcement themselves, whether IT be the elastic state troopers, the known police or even the FBI. But to be ones with you, I never thought they'd help sold these cases to begin with. If a love one goes missing, no one's first thought is a podcast being a real thing.

It's the long enforcement that should be doing interviewing, not investigate, of journalists, not private investigators. You can give people authority, but you can't make them care. So let's zoom out for a second.

A lot and I mean, a lot has happened since we left off and my brain feels rambled. But maybe this is what he feels like when you're starting to get close to something, you can feel IT there in the moment, but slowly at all source to come into focus. And maybe it's just a wish for thinking of me, that magical thinking, or maybe sometimes you just strike at the right time.

I came the noma asa with zero expectations, but from the second I touched down there, I knew, my god, there was a serious problem with their low enforcement. Frankly, I don't care why these cases are unsolved. That's a different investigation altogether.

I'm not here to poke at their mishaps, pitfalls and any mistakes that were made. But what I do care about, and what my stuff in itself can care little too much about sometimes, is someone standing in the way of finding the truth. Were either going around you or through you.

I have a team of some of my very best friends, day in and day out, night after night. We've never stopped accepting these cases. In the break that we took was just what we needed for the dust settle the case to started breathing again. And so let's .

dive read into IT.

But first let's recap where we left off. This guy, I just know he was A C driver in town, and a lot of people didn't like him. He was a cab driver for a cheaper cab.

He dropped, everybody is soft, but her. And he says, you know what, I could have killed you. And nobody would have known about IT.

The gentlemen who owned the tenth. The minor, this minor may have been involved.

We just didn't have to help that. We needed to find her. Why aren't the police doing and anything?

There was a man, he was sitting, her drinking, and he was talking about. I seen her down west, which he was party with some of the miners down in there.

People like the police have done enough to solve for a case. No IT feels and .

looks like they haven't done anything.

The number of missing people does not really match the population .

of the area.

Is the police chief. And today, the of this, we records request with governments. They can be months long. He pulled out up night.

the sky now.

You're in a town with three thousand people.

You're telling me no one saw anything. No one has come forward.

I don't even know.

His last name is the name that you knew .

her about organ, john.

I was the last person seen her a lot, besides the guy had killed.

Do that. that. Do do.

As a listener, you need to know that there have been two things going on here. I've talked a lot about serendipity, and I don't know what IT all means, but sometimes weird shit just happens, stuff you can't really explain. You may recall from episode one of this season, the email I received from the ila about flo oc pio ox case after we were looking into IT, and before we ever told a soul about .

this season at all.

I also received another email.

hi, i'm the attorney for Joseph bolter's family. Joseph went missing under suspicious circumstances in no masa. During the summer of twenty sixteen, the alaska state troopers treated IT as a lost hiker case and barely conducted an investigation.

We're at a dead end with our investigation, which is why i'm reaching out to you. We hired a private investigator. His name is andy clamper.

One of Joseph friends contacted me early on. Everybody was pretty consistent about what they said about Joseph. Charismatic, smart, loved alaska. Plan to get married. You're dealing with basically a successful professional person who just vanishes.

The reality is our investigation into the disappearance of FLorence ocp olic, Angels of falder's, started on the very same day. Let's go back in time. Two years ago.

I A hey .

Kitty pain. I received the e. Mail from a woman named kate. She's an attorney and .

a family friend of good ologies really did anything we could think of to try to figure out what happened to Joseph. I think the first goals defined him to give his family some piece in. The second goal would be to figure out what happened. I reached out to you. Any claim was our private investigator put a lot of resources into using him.

We were immediately blessed with the years of hard work put in by jose's family in numerous private investigators, and they sent us more documents, audio, video, in depth records and files that i've personally ever seen. This gave us an amazing vantage point from the beginning. And the more we looked in the Joseph case, the more flows case became in rotini.

As you peel back a layer, there's something new that odd and doesn't make sense. I'm monitoring. I worked in the D.

S. Office and engage for a couple of years. I wasn't in taiwan force now.

I wanted to support the trees. They doing a good that tries this society investigation. In the .

early weeks effort.

Joseph disappeared. SHE helped connect the us. Working probe, ono, finding trusted private investigators doing all the work that long enforcement didn't. Andy clamor to her before in the podcast, took on this case full time, and he's been investigating .

IT for years now. His truck was found parked, parked into a pull out IT became a very big deal and known quickly. It's really unusual and not find the body, especially since they had a half dozen different teams of tracking dogs out there. If you got attack by bear, that would mean super messy. You'd think that the dogs would have found, and bears don't need backpacks.

When they heard the news he was missing, jose's friends and family frantically made their way to know, spearheading the search efforts for days on end. With the help of helicopters, planes, search dogs in dozens of individuals on the ground, their search ultimately yielded nothing in the eyes of Joseph sister selena. This just wasn't sitting well.

And before long, like everyone else, SHE began to hear other twisted tales of what may have really happened. On the last day in town, Joseph sister selena and several family friends all met with the alaska ate troopers at their office. Unknown selena recorded their conversation.

This is from eight years ago, right? Afford sia went missing. I am trying to coordinate and getting dogs in and out, and I am still collecting the maps.

And we're doing that. And again, we're limited there so much, and we want to find IT. I go to seen to investigate, invest, assault. My reports of the jail have to do IT later. That's basically .

what the mentation part is so important for us, because we're humans who happen to be proved. And we forget things. I paid troper troubles to come in on his day off to document what he did those two days。 He came in on his saturday.

He was sydney. Ed here, going through the law, sing, who was here, and sydney, his computer and typing. And he typed for probably four hours.

Yeah so was that IT of the investigation?

Well, no, no, there's um we follow up every single every single leave that comes to us, we follow up and we're not .

trying to take and all this kind of feel like we are not .

that spread.

Yeah we don't have much time here.

We're desperately we wanted know what have to our brother and we need to know now. And we even if my brother isn't alive, we need to find him, you know so even if he's not a life, we want him back. So we need to do anything we can. That's why we're asking all these questions.

The bull dara's family was living a nightmare, having traveled across the entire country searching for Joseph in yielding nothing, then being faced with the reality that they are going to have to go back home soon without Joseph, without answers. And now I shit some more .

questions. Unfortunately.

we're trying to explain to you um the department public say this position, we've had to call our searches before when we didn't want to, but the decision is made not just from standpoint of the time, but the lack of clues. Here's the thing. The lack of clues is in itself a clue what kind of clues that, well, we need to figure that out. We need to take five stars back and shake off, and we visit. And IT starts by good start to move.

Beginning the state's conclusion, he had been attacked by a bear or had some kind of accident, and they just didn't find the body. That scenario that he was attacked by a bear, somehow the body was hidden. Those pieces weren't fitting together.

Look, it's a alaska. It's Normal aska population, three thousand. There is clearly some serious wildlife out there. The state of alaska alone is home to approximately thirty thousand grisly bears.

Between the year two thousand and two thousand seventeen, there were seven recorded fatalities from rizla bear attacks. But these fatal encounters most certainly have occurred and do occur statistically. They're succeedin ly.

Rare grass bears are scary, powerful creatures, and they can most certainly kill you. They usually leave behind a familiar, chaotic in graphic scene. Human remains are usually scattered about, personal belongings left damaged, and there are general signs of a struggle like disturb vegetation, blood bear tracks.

These things are almost always found at the scene, but for Joseph, however, he just simply vanished. If he did die by a bear attack, then the bear itself left not one trace of IT. Being killed by a bear is already a statistical anomaly. But this is an even .

bigger one hiking. And he he's very smart. He's not stupid. He's traveled over the world. He he's not stupid.

He knows also .

so weird is on his there so much like information about bears, there was. Joseph lda is Carried an extreme love and respect for wildlife. Joseph was also someone who understood and respected both the beauty and power of mother nature.

A few summers before you went missing, he documented a trip to alaska with his brother and friends to alaska. This is IT. This is my little piece of home here.

That open ocean out there.

if you .

can tell the waves and some pretty good try, swells.

not gonna.

You're too long. He's going to come get a picture of IT video.

You can certainly .

feel the magnitude of the ocean when your own this fuck around out there gives me A H. G. B.

He's just being there, here. Cruise ship. Yeah, I can't get that good of a zoom on IT russia on Josie.

Well, that one we saw in this counter member was from russia. You say a beautiful woman on there. That's me.

We is everybody.

缘分, 缘分, 你 起来 了 吗? Every time.

He knew how to have a good time, but he also knew had to stay safe.

The more you look into IT, the more unanswered questions and red flags there were. There are some very suspicious things. This Fiona was alarmed right away.

His usual practice was to stay in touch with her multiple times a day. Joseph wasn't responded anything. So for him to not respond to her messages was very unusual.

Joseph was just weeks away from moving the juno, alaska to reunite with his fiancee Megan, right before he disappeared.

He's talked to me about her. He was very in love with her. He would text her right away.

He sent us all the messages. I mean, there, like, there is no wait time. If he message him, he message her right back.

Good morning, meg. I hope you have a good friday. In fact, I know you will. I'm sure cafe, her nationality is going to be hoping today, and i'm sure you have a good lunch and i'm sure you can have good walks and a good hike. But I just want to say that I love you and have a great day by bye.

Did you know that after world war two, the U. S. Government quietly brought former nazi scientists to amErica in a covered the Operation to advances military technology, or that in the thousand nine hundred fifties the U.

S. Army conducted a secret experiment by releasing back ia over san Francisco to test how a biological attack might spread without a alerting the public. These might sound like conspiracy theories, but they're not. They are well documented government Operations that have been hidden away in classified files for decades. I'm local mona, a marine core reconvert, and i've always had a thing for digging into the unknown.

It's what LED me to start my new podcast reduction, declassified mysteries in its, I explore hidden troops and reveal some eye opening events like covert experiments and secret Operations that those in power are try to keep buried. I love you, Megan and a, and I hope you have a great day by my love.

This is Joseph. He was sydney to his fiancee Megan. Pretty often, random voice notes in between all the texts calls.

hey, good morning, meg. Hope you sleep well. I know I sleep a little bit Better, could sleep, but don't.

Nice day out here. I hope you have a nice day, and i'll look for the talk king later. right? I love.

Meggan, I love you and I want you have a great day today, and I hope you know why I know that. You know that you're the most amazing person in the world to me. Buy one of .

but this family's permission. We did our best to recreate jose's voice to take you through this text communication with this via Megan, leading all the way up to the day that he vanished, negated Joseph, mostly texted on whats up. And they would do this throughout the day, every day, never taking too long to respond to each other. They were clearly in love.

I just had pizz again tonight, but I was so good. Love you.

Oh, baby, you're cute. I'm on my nightly straw.

I would whistle at you if I saw you. I had dinner with the judge and co workers. Fun night, but i'm beat.

We can talk tomorrow. Honey, you should get some shut eye. Love you.

Well, i'd like to talk for a little bit, at least say, good, good night. I'm not going to sleep. It's not even nine.

outgoing message to his Fiona Megan. Since then, he has not opened or read any other message that was sent to him.

Love you so much, baby. I dreamed of you all night. Count shopping. Wish you were here. Good night, love you so much.

I'm honestly getting a little worried now because I haven't heard from you and I can't sleep. Please text when you can and let me know you're safe. I'm worried.

Because we don't know what happened to Joseph. We don't know when that happened either. In my mind, answering the second question is our first order of business.

Accurately stitching together his last moves has been an exhAustingly tedious task, but with the help of original eyewitness testimony and Joseph cell phone records, we've been able to pinpoint in approximate time that things started to get a little weird. Not long as for josep, missing the first P. I, the family hired, traveled to know me to conduct his own interviews, gathering statements from people who knew him. This is the earliest account we have on record.

Today's day is twenty eight. Thursday, two thousand and sixteen, properly, seven or five pm, alaska. In the matter of Joseph about theirs, if everybody can announce his on the phone. A still, if you could start the P.

I held a phone conference with dresses, friends and family.

Christine is important because she's the last person that we know saw jokes of alive. So she's a really important finger.

Yeah, we've been looking at her, the first private investigator hidden on a woman in Christine, a friend of jose's who lived in nom. According to witness statements and Christ's own personal testimony, SHE is the last person to have seen him alive that weekend. Late in the evening, on friday, june twenty fourth.

Joseph was alive and well, and we know this with great certainty based on the text with his fiancee and more importantly, a phone call he placed to Megan earlier that night, sometime afford sea spoke to meg on the phone. He allegedly goes downtown to the local bars and no me. At around midnight that friday night, he meets up with his Frank cristine cording to cristine.

Her sister kim was there, also making IT two eyewitness accounts. Whatever happened, the Joseph happened after midnight on friday, june twenty fourth. Over the course of the next few hours, choice of time line starts to get a little confusing.

The first private .

investigator interview crusting just a few weeks after when missing .

the purpose of me talking with you. I'm trying to to nail down his last steps to see if there's any way that I can put together some type of time line and i'm just going to give you these dates in case you forgot june twenty four, twenty fifth and twenty six or friday, saturday and sunday. The twenty seventh was a monday. okay.

Is that your you're understanding you too? Yeah, have a hard time. Remember me what I ate for breakfast. So I know looking back, a couple of weeks can be tough sometimes. You went out with Joseph on friday.

IT was friday because he exit me about twelve teen asked what I was doing and so I called him. He's like, i'm just getting some food, just if you anted to go out, have you drink? So said, okay, we're not quite leaving yet and I don't think we met up with him until about one o'clock.

one o'clock in the morning. So technically, saturday and players was the first place .

you went to yeah met players. Who's we? Me came and Joseph, my sister and I met up with him. And we only say they are probably for a shot in a shot in the beer. Then we went to and a shot and .

beer takes back out along figures.

We're probably there for twenty minutes. And then after of that, we just started visiting with people. And I don't know what he did after, but I know, Kevin, I had went to be a tear.

So according to the Christine's testimony here, their nights started at a local bar downtown called playa SHE. Was there the bar with Joseph alongside her sister kim? They had a shot in a beer and eventually moved on the street to a different bar. A bar called breakers bot is the nickname for a board downtown called the board of trade. Might remember this from close case.

Let me back up a little bit. When you guys were at palais, was there anybody else that you can remember .

him talking?

How late you think you .

are out that night till barak, what went that two forty five?

And would you have been at B. O, T at that time? then? Yeah, someone estimate the time you breakers .

for hello clock. And usually .

that's when .

people had to beauty.

So as far as this case is concerned, you would have no know about really where he went that night after .

two no OK because I mean, I didn't text them, but I didn't call to check on him either because usually he goes home. I mean, i've never known him to go down after party. I mean, we didn't drink a lot all the time together, but I I could know that he is not one go out in party because of his job. And so I would say he probably went home backing .

up here.

or for just a second. Christine initially meets josef a. Polaris with her sister kim for a shot in a beer.

They eventually moved to a bar called brokers from there SHE ports ways with Joseph and Christine and her sister kim go to the B. O, T. Bar board of trade, Justine and her sister without Joseph.

After interviewing Christine.

the private investigator talk to her sister kim in a separate room in attempt together for recollection of that night. This is when things get way more confusing. Or may I even say concerning.

And I was hoping to chat with you this link. Nice to meet you. Okay, so friday night, union sister, go out. Take me from there. Where do you .

go and what time we went clear then? Must have been there for now.

Maybe and just you and her .

yeah he said just on his lover and I said, okay and he comes and could you bear.

You know about what time shoot .

up like well, early may be. And then he had a beer, and I went over the breakers and we stay there till about two thirty, and then I came home.

They met jose of the players that they moved to a bar call break ers got IT. But then, according to kim, he goes home by erself, leaving Joseph and Christine together. And he never mentions or remembers going out to the B. O. T.

VR do you ever member going to the bot that night? You don't. Did you could you avert not I .

don't think we did that night. I usually tend to try to not go to beauty because I see before I don't. Honest, I don't think we did.

He was there. He was only there with us at players. And then a breaker, you know, he was just that's very hung out most night having curse. I really feel like, well.

was he or he in Christ kind of kisses, kisses, boyfriend, girlfriend, hold hands type relationship, or just more brother, sister type relationship?

I thought about that. They were like boyfriend growing.

I separated Christine and came in the separate bedroom. Did you hear how different their customers were? There are statements.

Yeah the red leg that came up across you know every had every red leg. Both Christine and can have very different recollections of the night. And hey, sometimes after a night of drinking, that can happen here or there.

What was the last pot? But when someone goes missing afterwards, these details become extremely important. In Christine's version, they parted ways with Joseph after the second bar called brokers, and he spent the rest of her night with her sister kim at the B.

O. T. bar. Victim says he went to plays, then breaks, and then went home afterwards by herself, just her, leaving Joseph and Christine together. Kim also seem to have a different viewpoint on Christine and Joseph relationship.

I thought about that they were like boyfriend grow friend.

but Christine claims they were only friends.

So you ys were never never boy from girlfriend.

And they were just where good friends my family adopted him. We took right in, he fit right in, and my family that we should do, but him and I friends, Better off friends.

The differ accounts of friday night are indeed confusing, but they could also mean absolutely nothing. This fast forward a few hours to the following morning, saturday, june twenty fifth, two thousand and sixteen, the P. I ask Christine about the next day.

the next day, about the time you come on saturday.

thirty.

so ten, twenty seven, about all.

And we just talked about just generally whatever. I mean, there is really no specific k body can do today. What i'm going to the beach and it's nice out. I'm going to eat, i'm going to shower and with a clean up and then take the kids to the beach about .

how long did you guys talk for?

How about twenty to twenty five minutes? Nothing specific. Just ruled like him and I were always very random. Whatever I came up, whatever we talked about, right?

You don't member any specific statements he ever made of. I'm going here. I'm going to do this or no.

we talked about that at the beach. And so ten, twenty seven years, when I first talked in that day, then I got a shower, I cleaned up and then I called him.

The following morning, Christine makes a phone call to just the cell phone. At approximately ten thirty A M. Jose's family provided us his cell phone records, which list out all ongoing and outgoing calls and text, and the link of the calls, the contents of the text messages themselves aren't locked. According the joys of cell phone records, the call Christine made to his phone that saturday morning lasted twenty seven minutes, so not a quick call.

I know I called him before twelve fifteen, because I was about twelve, eighteen, as when I called him in, he said he was coming to the OK. Well, Martin, hear, this is what a count look for. My truck is like.

OK. Well, I have my blue truck is OK. I'll see you and a few minutes and by then he came down there. And then we were there probably until about two thirty ish, quartered to three. Cause by then I started, didn't really hot.

was he pretty ung over.

didn't seem like .

IT do you hung out each .

speech for proxy? Hello, until two, thirty two, three, just about two hours, we let the kids play just hanging out. And so I asked him what he was going to do because I was like, well, to nice out, i'm going to get ready and go get things and go to camp. You welcome to go if you want my grams camp and I was like, what you go to do. He's like one to go fishing. And at that time, I didn't think there was any fish, but just my judgment, because I was usually not he's like one gogo fish and I said, wear he's like at the mouth, no river mouth they said, okay, so you don't want to go to camp now I said, why you go fishing and there is really no fish, you just get to go and look. He's like.

just go to look at .

the mouth of the river. And I kind of was like, why there's no fish? Is I going to go work? So I said, okay. And then .

that was a cine claims. Joseph drove to meet her at the beach. Joseph stayed there at the beach with her until about two forty five pm, a little over two hours.

At the time, Christine had her kids with her, as well as her sister kim kids. And apparently they were on the beats together with Joseph. These kids were pretty Young, between four and five years old.

He then invites him to go to her family's camp with her for a good together they were having. But Joseph declines, and he tells gusty, that is going fishing at the mouth of the known river. Then jose, of kids in this truck drives away and was never seen again. Here's just of sister celina.

So it's just kind of weird that he party all night, like literally until the way hours and then he gets up early.

wants to go fishing, kind of weird.

No other eyewitnesses could place Joseph on the beach that day, despite the beach area itself being widely visible from the road and the general .

public I left before him, and so I don't know what the direction he went about.

Anything else you can think of that might be important.

I've been trying to think, but I have no idea. I am angry, mad.

but I don't .

know where he is, or is he .

upset about anything not that I .

know of because he was excited that he had mentioned to me before, not the same weekend I had mentioned to me before the human bag and were going to get married. I said, okay, well, I started asking questions about how long you've been there in.

How did you meet her when he goes plan to do because he was moving juno, because his was done here in August and he seemed excited about and I said, okay, well, you guys had the sea been single for six years, right? He's like, yeah and now you ve been dating for, what? Six months ish yeah, there was five months, six months and it's like, and you're going to get married and like, don't you think that little done?

So in your mind, you know, the question asked you earlier, as do you have idea what happened? So and you will remind one of the options that you don't think happened as he just walked off and just on purpose, just trying to disappear.

you think to that? I don't know why he would do that. Yeah, I don't see why. I mean, I I don't think so.

So you essentially are concluding that that um well, you couldn't get really get lost out there but your thinking maybe that nature had a role in this.

I have no idea. I mean, I am still having faith but he's out there somewhere.

Bear with me for a second. Saturday morning we sing called stress of cell phone in a call at last twenty seven minutes. SHE doesn't remember what they talked about.

SHE places another college of sometime after trial, pm, noon. And then they meet up at the beach and stay there for about two hours, sometime after two forty five P. M.

Just have helps in this truck and drives off to go fishing. But no one has seen him since then. Looking to Joseph cell phone records, something about that saturday meeting at the beach that apparently last at over two hours did not really make sense to me.

Here's why I can see the call Christine .

made to him at ten thirty six A M A twenty seven minutes at twelve 5m Christine calls just as phone again。 This call lasted about a minute and five seconds. Based on Christina's count, this would presumably be the call SHE made where just have agreement in me of the beach.

And if they spent over two hours there, then Joseph have arrived at the beach pretty quickly over this twelve, six P. M. call.

But here's what is record show. Afro call a twelve forty pm. N text at twelve forty five P M then SHE text juss of again at one P M.

Then he calls to resolve third time at one eighteen pm. I call that last at forty eight seconds. This is about forty five minutes to an hour after Joseph supposed to have already been at the beach with her. Maybe her times are off, but then at one thirty two P. M, Christine again, text Joseph.

By this point, if what he is saying is true, Joseph should most certainly be at the beach already, especially if they stayed there for over two hours, he said, and that he left no later than two forty five pm to go fishing. So in conclusion, we're pretty much missing an entire hour here. Either that or custom was calling and texting Joseph when they were together at the beach when he was literally right in front of I just don't like IT.

We only have Joseph phone records to go off of Joseph. Actual cell phone is missing along with them. So the only way we can find out more about what they were talking about that day is from Christine's phone.

The private investigator .

asked Christine if he could supply the text to his family.

Do you still have the text that you can refer to?

I have to restore my phone because the past co. Got disabled, was not very happy.

but we didn't get to see those texts.

My brother disabled my sunday monday .

bad .

because I mean, everything I had a was the text message as the colleagues, they were still there and then he disabled IT. I can't remember my pinko because on, you know, on the iphone I could use my fun. And so I thought I was using. And so he disabled IT for every pink code I thought I thought I would be. I used and IT wasn't, so I didn't disable, you know, and then I had to connect to i've .

tunes to restore IT.

Her phone was completely wiped on sunday. I don't work at the apple store genius bar, but i'm loosely familiar with what she's talking about. If you try to put in the wrong pin code enough time on the iphone, eventually, after a while, I will lock you out of the phone forever, then you'll have to plug IT into your computer to refer and restore IT to its last saved moment on I cloud.

So her phone is you erased. Immediately after Joseph disappears her time, entire phone is erased.

That is a little bit kind of .

concerning, you know that that lead you to a lean towards the idea that maybe SHE I highly without no, i've met her. Yeah.

he is SHE definite lying. And her account of the flock, for instance, is actually impossible.

Twenty nine year old brother was taking a picture in locked or phone yeah that's not sure 在在 看 and SHE said.

her brother.

I believe, is her brother did something with, you know, you have your code to get into that and then he did so many times that he had a factory reset at at which didn't make any sense how you know that's not what happens. no. So it's just just like really flinn's excuse very wear timing for sure.

On every iphone, you can take a picture without having to unlock IT. There's literally a camera icon on the bottom right of the home screen.

I don't know why didn't back up, because I have to automatically sinked to I cloud as a back up, and IT didn't. And so when I want to restore my phone on sunday night, I had to created as a new one to all the text messages, all the call logs. Everything I had on my phone was gone.

But even if you created as a new one, your eye clod didn't save all old day.

No, nothing came up to ask me if I wanted to pick this day. You know how you can go back and say, back IT up to this day, I never did ask me, just asked if I wanted to set up as a new one or whatever the other option was on itunes when that's not the laptop that I I didn't think this to a laptop because my laptop is gone. And so I don't think that one because that one didn't have to use, I had a download itunes sunday to restore.

Regards of why or how Christine had a completely restore a phone that day is just a major red flag, plain and sample. Sometimes IT can be really easy to nip k the small details in a case like this, or hyper analyze someone's behavior. But when you start adding up all these other weird things about Christine account that weekend, her sisters completely different, recollection of friday night, phone records that don't match the narrative, and the possibility that her and Joseph were more than just friends, the starts to become something you should not in, cannot ignore.

Trying to make sense of IT all is madding. The reality is we simply need more information. So we kept digging, going through files and papers, all provided by the private investigators in jose's family.

The forecastle was ever interviewed by the private investigator. SHE was initially interviewed by the alaska ate troopers. We got our hands on the official police report.

According to the official police report, Christine claims that he was with Joseph at the beach on saturday from approximately two forty five pm to three 10 pm。 Wait, what Christine told the P. I SHE was with him for over two hours, and that he left the beach no later than two forty five.

So was he with Joseph for thirty minutes or two hours and that he leave the beach at two forty five? Or is that when he got there, there are now feels to be way more than just a lot wrong with Christine story. But why? That's a question that's always bothered jesus family.

And one thing you learn about the bolder is is their fighters. Their investigation has never sought. Two years later, josef sister selena managed to get her hands on another set of phone records, Christine phone records. And they make things even more puzzling than they already are. Just like jose's phone logs, they don't show the contents of their text.

But I can see way further back in their communication, going back several months between April twenty eighth, two thousand and sixteen, in june twenty fourth, two thousand sixteen, the night he met Joseph at the bar, Christine never once called Joseph literally not one time only text, but he texted him frequently. Then all the sudden, starting that friday night, Christine calls Joseph a total of sixteen times in a period of lesson twenty four hours. Then he goes missing.

What is the deal here? And what about Joseph? Last message to his fiancee Megan in that morning, around nine thirty A M, he allegedly texas Fiona Megan, via whats up, saying.

yeah, probably gone to head back out later to another river where the kings might be love you egg and then .

from that exact moment forward, he never opens or reads any more of her messages by any account of Christine story. Joseph didn't leave to go fishing until at least two forty five P. M, or even his latest three thirty, meaning Joseph was still in town, in known with cell service, but for over five hours he didn't even read or open his dion says messages. This was completely out of character for him.

I asked the private .

investigator andy clamps, or to put me in touch with Megan, just as former fiani, to ask her about those messages in the very first thing he told me has sent me down an entirely new rabbit. All the tone .

and nuance of his last text message to me on saturday morning just seem different. He said, love you instead of I love you. IT just seems strange. I don't think IT was really .

him coming this season in chapter two of up and vanished in the midnight sun.

There was also an issue with currently texting your friends to try and to get them to create an ala by.

I was nervous and I didn't know how to do, was that I was trying to save.

And I 再 what you were doing me。

The roomy lied about his whereabout on .

saturday night pain.

I have a video that has to do with balderas.

I'm scared. Trust me.
