Triple Quest, Act One: The Call of Adventure

Tell everyone curve here with a very special bonus. You probably heard my field before the session zero episode, just in case anyone skips to this one. This is the first act of triple quest, a very fun adventure that we recorded earlier this year with special guest game master Matthew mercer.

IT was a ton of fund we recorded over the course of a few different sessions, including that planning session that you may or may not have just listen to. This is act one, which we recorded in los Angeles in my hotel, which actually made for a very good recording studio. IT was a remarkably sound proof, and the acoustic wear great.

But that kind of went to that feeling of all being in a room together. Man, you've never set up for a recording session until you've been trying to get your hotel room to work for a four person DNA recording session with a celebrity guest who is really only free on that one day. I was, I was kind of sweating IT.

But IT worked out and and IT was really a lot of fun as you're about to hear. So this is act one. And of course, this is only made possible by the wonderful maximum fund members whose support the creation of our show.

So for this fun adventure, we all got together and discuss your characters a bit before we go here and jump in to the adventures proper. I think that we can just do quick round rob and tell a little about your character what would be a fun, snippy of their history that we can kind of sink us into the world. And then i'll take IT from there. So going to start, start with with being so right, look in this direction.

So being is A A, A tef ling barbarian who was raised as a camp orphant with a mercenary outfit called the um third section and he he and his sister biona, his twin sister, uh kind of we're raised by just by the camp. They don't know how their parents died and they then eventually left and went out on their own and form their own mercenary sort of duo, where they were very formidable pair. But then they kind of made their way of water deep.

They fell in with the water deep thave skills, just doing some as some contract worked for them. And that was where they were paired up with two, two new faces, leon and key, in very different circumstances, on a job that went horribly wrong. And LED biona getting captured by the water deep guard and executed by the lords of water deep, and the group scattered after that and being wound up on his own for the first time in a way that he was not really accustomed to. And he's still working as a mercenary, but just sort of has lost his way after the death of his sister.

fantastic. All right. Let's go to have over here to a keys and dream.

That's right. Keys and dream not her real name, but SHE won't tell you what IT is. SHE came up with this when he was a teenager, but before that he was an orphant. She's a half half doesn't know who her parents are either, but was raised in a series of crappy Foster situations, orphanages and just straight up living on the streets.

And the best thing that ever happened to her was when not through some cosmic traumatic event, SHE simply discovered that he had magic, when SHE was sneaking around a lords mention, trying to steal stuff, and realized that he could control some of the fire in candlelight and was like, a, this is what was meant to be, I am a source. Er, finally, something good has happened in my life. And SHE continued being a thief. And just general roughing doesn't necessarily trust others, but is willing to work with them in order to just continue to survive. So SHE seals to survive and puts her self first in general, and so secretly has a soft spot for being in leon because, you know, the job went wrong, and that kind of gets at her.

Today he is, actually, he's got enough money. He's doing just fine, and he doesn't need to still, but he doesn't anyway, because it's such a rush, a gentle, I love to steal my man.

Being is currently logging in a small farmhouse, not not too close to any major population center in between jobs and just sort of keeping this year to the ground for anyone who's looking for someone who's very good at knocking things down and making sure they don't get back up and you great.

A familiar kind of twice broken and repair jaw and scraggy looking beard of the familiar, a evets device, as you can oppose the hood back a bit, is Crystal, an almost bright blue sky, blue eyes, looking towards you.

There is a small dog at the very basic of the Cliff. They'd take seaside rivals as well as an escape out in case any of the lords and ladies need to get out. In the case of an attack, I don't know how long it's been in service and last time I was used. But I imagine that as a dog at the bottom of the clifts, that means that .

imagine the the alternative, the wall, they probably have a smattering of different focus across the room. There are part of the the populist hope, and possibly of in visitors and doves, and a small, but the stocky bit a bit shouldn't be you, man.

There's a little parapet where either guards can trade out or they can walk down within the or behind the wall. In fact, much of the stonework here is really relatively a regimentals but IT is plain and functional this isn't an exempt ary wealthy family to the point where they're showing IT as part of the display of their um their landscape here, at least from a distance. The eastern tower that you were noted, however, looks markedly different from the rest of the environment, the same height as the others. But IT is completely overgrown, and ivy and with a little bit of sunlight, is a beginning to catch the colors on the exterior. Uh, the Green itself has broken up by a David. You can see there are banners strung across various small pillars that hold the torch grazers to light the court yard.
