Also, another thing, if my voice sounds a little off today, it's because I had surgery yesterday and they intubated me. So they pretty much put me under anesthesia and stuck that thing down my mouth and down my throat. It'd be quiet over there at the end. Not the first time. Oh my God. And yeah, it kind of screwed up my vocal cords a little bit. Just FYI. All right. So that is the end of the announcements.
So let's get into today's episode. In the age of information and instant connectivity, an odd event unfolded on New Year's Day. A video clip that would send shockwaves through the digital realm and ignite a firestorm of speculation and disbelief.
Eyewitnesses described shadowy beings standing 8 to 10 feet tall being shot at by the local police while everyone fled the mall and flooded the streets. Did this otherworldly encounter truly transpire on the streets of Miami? Or was it a sophisticated hoax aimed at capturing the world's attention?
In this exploration of a viral sensation that blurred the lines between fact and fiction, we delve into the heart of the incident, seeking answers that continue to elude the grasp of conventional explanation. This is Miami Mall Aliens.
All right. So originally, we had a different episode scheduled for this week. However, over the past few days, we have received a ton of messages and emails from all you listeners. Emails and messages asking, hey, what's going on in Miami? Are we being invaded by aliens? I want to know if I need to go into my bunker.
Did you get any emails like that, Dan? Yeah, ton of them. What's going on in Miami? Hey, y'all need to look into Miami. Something crazy is going on. Power's going out. Black helicopters flying everywhere. So due to the tremendous amount of requests for this topic, we decided to switch things up and cover it. Now, I am sure that almost everyone listening has seen the videos on TikTok or at least heard the news or individuals talking about the Miami mall alien stuff.
However, if you have not, then that is okay because we are going to tell you all about it. Now, before we get into that, we are going to take a quick break and we'll be right back. All right. Welcome back. So, Dan, can you start that off for us? So last Friday on January 5th, multiple videos online went viral on X, aka Twitter, and on TikTok making some very odd claims.
Individuals in these videos claimed that a few days prior, on New Year's Day at the Bayside Marketplace in Miami, that somewhere around 30 to 75 police cars along with black helicopters were seen surrounding the mall. Along with this, these individuals showed video footage that backed up their claims of the streets surrounding the mall just absolutely flooded with police cars. After these videos were posted online is when things got pretty weird.
No one seemed to know why the police were there or what had happened. So shortly after that, a few more videos were posted online showing people running away from the area of the Miami mall. And what is strange is that in these videos, it was stated that people were running away because they had seen a strange humanoid creature roaming throughout the mall. Now, after those claims went viral online is when the official explanation was given as to why the police were there. It was stated, and we quote,
On the night of New Year's Day, a group of 50 teenagers caused a riot at Bayside Marketplace, an outdoor mall roughly five miles from South Beach. The teens were setting off fireworks, which led to a panic as some assumed there was a shooting. We dispatched multiple police units to the area for crowd control due to the juveniles refusing to leave.
Some businesses were temporarily closed to allow us to clear the area and four teenagers were arrested. So following this announcement, a lot of people started to say that the police were covering up what really happened that night. That multiple people had seen an alien or some type of alien creature roaming around not only the mall, but also the streets of Miami. And that is why there was such a big police presence.
Also, other claims surfaced at the same time, that not only the airspace above Miami was shut down, but also the entire Miami airport was shut down as well. Also, other people were stating that the live Miami police scanner audio was blocked from public use at the time.
So after those claims were made about the airport being shut down and the police scanner being blocked, multiple videos and images came out that showed what some claim to be a 8 to 10 foot tall alien creature walking around along with other odd videos. Of course, with all these claims, multiple news stations picked up on the story and the entire thing went viral. So on one side, you had the official saying that it was just fireworks set off by teenagers and that is it.
Then on the other side, you have individuals claiming that this is just an excuse and the Miami police are covering something up. And that is pretty much the Miami mall alien story in a nutshell. Now, at this point in the episode, we usually go into strange facts and findings. However, we decided to switch it up a bit. Instead of doing a strange facts and findings section, we decided to create a new section called investigation.
where we discuss all the claims and what we found during our investigation of these claims. So pretty much strange facts and findings, but just kind of modified a little bit and called investigations. Yeah, pretty much. All right, Dan, so do you want to tell us about our first thing that we investigated? Of course. So our first section is called Eyewitness Accounts.
Now we figured the best way to start off the investigation section is to find the most popular videos of individuals claiming to have been there during the incident and what they had seen. So we have the top five viral videos and are going to listen to each one and discuss them. So the first video that we're going to listen to comes from a graffiti artist who claims that he was at the mall that night and claims he witnessed something very strange.
So we're going to take a listen to the audio of that video and his explanation of what happened right now. So this, this is what happened. This, this is, this is what happened. This is where I'll draw you. What can happen? This is what happened. There was a whole bunch of, there was a whole bunch of, you know, teens, right? A whole bunch of teens. And they had this little, they had this little box, like a little DVD player type thing, right?
And they were like, yeah, watch, watch, go ahead. And there was a whole bunch of them. They looked all nerdy. They weren't like thugged out. I mean, they all dressed nice and shit or whatever. But, you know, they were just right there, combo and shit. And a lot of them had like backpacks. And some of them had like weird guys' glasses, like welding glasses. And I was like, what the f***? And the other guy was like, just go ahead and plug it in. I mean, we're right here. We're safe.
You know, and so somebody plugged this shit in and it started flickering. It started flickering, right? Because there was a column right here, you know. I was over here on the top. I was up here on the top of the level. They were down here and I was watching them from over here, okay? So this shit started flickering and it was flicking the rows of lights right here. All these lights were flickering.
Then it started popping. When it started popping, everybody from over here started running this way to see because everybody was nosy. And as soon as it started popping, this thing started glowing and it started going like a force field. And everybody that was behind this that I was seeing, everybody looked like this, like digital. Like it was being disrupted by the wave. Only right here.
Not right here. Everything else was still flickering. Right here was still popping. People were running. As soon as they got close and they see how this thing was moving, everybody started going this way. When they started going this way, these guys started backing up because from this, it started glowing and it looked like somebody put a foot out like that. And then somebody put a hand out and then all you see was this. An image like that, that's all I seen.
This was all glowing, so it was bright. This was the only dark thing that I thought I seen come out. It looked like that. That's what came out. I was right here looking. It was me and four other dudes. Two other guys ran over here and started filming. I'm waiting for them to give me the footage. But they say they got this thing coming out. And it didn't look like somebody. It looked more like everything got disrupted and was all wavy.
And it did that effect. That's what it looked like to me. Yeah, man, I seen this. This is what I seen. And it looked like it was coming out of this. And it's because whatever little box they had was bright and almost like a, like, you know, one of those military flashlights that they were trying to plug up, but it had like a horn to it. It was like, and all this was like disrupting and this shit right here was popping.
You know, all this right here was popping. But this is what I seen. This is what I seen come out. And everybody's taking off, screaming like, oh, my God, look at that. Everybody's turning around and look back to see this. And they were like, oh, my God, oh, my God, and running. And at that point, all the, this shit already fell and broke. And we were still right here walking this way because somebody was
started shooting from over here because we've seen lights like two or three lights. And then the dudes that are right here, because there's people right here looking, they took off this way. That's what I've seen. All right. So the thing that he claims he saw coming out of the portal was like a creature and it had one foot out, an arm out and its head out pretty much half of its body. And it was coming out of the portal and it was dark.
And then, of course, he claims people from behind the portal started shooting at it. And this was after the portal, I guess, fell over and crashed and broke or whatever he claims fell over and broke. He said it was like distorting the area around it as well. Yeah. So that right there is our first video.
So the next video that we're going to listen to is from an individual who claimed to have been driving by the mall during the incident. So we're going to give that a listen right now. Here's really what went down in Miami just a few nights ago. Now, I was contemplating whether or not I wanted to make this video because I think I've already been blacklisted online from a couple of different places, but I'm very pro free speech. So I'm going to tell the truth anyway about what I saw. Now,
Now, I'm driving down in Miami with a girlfriend pretty late at night and I suddenly see hundreds, and I mean hundreds of cop cars swarming the entire city, the entire area. You could literally hear the sirens from over a mile away. I've never seen anything like this. Guys, I've been in Miami three years and I've never seen a response like this. I genuinely thought that there was some kind of terrorist attack. It was honestly frightening.
So obviously I'm curious, I pull out the car, we get out and we start talking to people. People are pretty calm. I'm talking to them, I'm asking them what's going on. And one person told me that they were at the Bayside Marketplace
And again, these are their words. I kid you not. They told me that they saw a creature. I know it sounds ridiculous. Seven feet tall walking around. I was like, this is insane. So I'm like, this person's crazy. I go and talk to another woman who's there in a state of actual panic.
And she tells me that she saw something out of a movie. She said it looked like Alien from the Alien film in the 1980s, I think she said it was. It's insane. So I get out my phone, right? Because I want to film this and I want to get these interviews for you guys because no one's going to believe what happened. And so I get out my phone and
and I start recording. The police come running over to me and they take my phone and make me delete the couple seconds that I recorded and then they ushered me along. Obviously, this is Miami PD, the cops in America, I don't want to mess with them. They're not like the cops in England. So I'm like, yeah, yeah, whatever. So I delete the footage and I move along. Anyway, I get back into my car and I see choppers in the sky.
And it's just insane because the police are saying the official stories that there were just juvenile kids playing with fireworks. Why was there a chopper in the sky? Why were there hundreds? And I mean hundreds of police cars. Why did it look like some kind of 9-11 response? I've never seen anything like this. I really couldn't believe it. Anyway, so there's these choppers in the sky and they're shining these lights down as if they're like looking for something. And
And I see a small glimpse of something. I don't know what it was. It didn't look like juvenile kids playing. It looked like something that wasn't human and it actually freaked me out. So we got back into the car, we started driving and then you could see, and this is, and you can, you guys can look this up. The electricity in the surrounding area went out. Explain that to me. Why does the electricity in the surrounding area go out? Just because some kids are playing with fireworks. It makes no sense.
So that right there was the second eyewitness account. So now we're going to get on to the third video. And this one is from another individual claiming to have been at the mall during the incident. Now, before we get into that, we are going to take a quick break and we'll be right back.

All right, so I had to come in my basement and film this. This shit is so crazy.
I'm posting this and I want y'all to repost, save this video, post it on other platforms before it gets taken down because I want to clear up some of this misinformation about the Bayside Mall incident that happened. So me and my girls in town and we were shopping at the mall and we noticed a lot of kids there. It wasn't a real big deal at first until they got to arguing and
shoving and then like weapons got brought in and they started fighting running all over the mall chaos just all over the place so we thought we heard gunshots but it turns out that that was actually fireworks but either way that caused everybody to start rushing for the doors people was leaving stuff behind i mean just dragging their kids it was just complete chaos man uh anyway so as we running we look back and we noticed some weird
shapes taller than me i'm six foot two shadowy dark solid shapes not human i promise you these is not human i mean it made the hair stand up on my skin uh and shit we just booked it for the doors after that man i can't explain what that was i can't say that was aliens but i i can't say that that was not human it was not human and they online i don't know if they're trying to cover this stuff up but
A lot of people saw what I saw and like I said, it was so much chaos ensued that it was just hard to let that sink in that we was realizing what we're looking at. I mean, it's something you can never even create in your head in a dream. I'm putting this out there though, man, because I want people to know that this stuff is real.
Get this out and spread this. And if you were a person that was there and you saw what I saw, please put this video out because they trying to cover this stuff up, man. They don't want us to to tell the truth. And I got a good feeling this video will be taken down. This shit is real. And whatever it is, they do not want people to know about it. I can't even. All right. Well, that was the third video. Very interesting.
So he saw the kids fighting, pulling out weapons and all that such, which I don't know about weapons, mostly sticks from what I've heard. I've heard sticks. I've heard weapons. Fireworks. Fireworks. I've heard all types of things. But yeah, very strange video. Let's get on to our next one. So the fourth video that we're going to listen to is from an individual named Fitz. And we're going to listen to that right now. I was there at the Bayside Mall with my family and
And we all saw exactly what happened. Don't like pay attention to a lot of the videos that are out there. I feel like a lot of people are trying to use this for clout. But what happened, we all saw what happened. And, you know, it's pretty serious. You know, it's been a few days, but, you know, our whole family's processing it. But I think we've kind of like accepted that we were a part of this weird experience and moment.
So basically what happened was I was there with my brother Brian, my sister and my nephew. We were looking for shoes for my nephew. And then we see a whole crowd of people outside the store just running out in a direction. So, you know, as soon as you saw it, we were like, oh, oh, shit, you know, what's going on? So we immediately ran out with our nephew and.
And we picked him up and we ran out and we followed the crowd. And then about like a few seconds later, as soon as we started running, my nephew, he's autistic. So he was pointing behind us and he was saying blankie, which he'll usually say whenever he feels unsafe or scared. And he was pointing behind us. So me and my brother, we look behind us and then we see these three guys.
nine, ten foot tall creatures. I'm not going to say aliens. Everyone keeps saying it's aliens. I'm not saying aliens because I don't know what it was. None of us really knew everyone. All of us stopped in our track. We, you know, a whole bunch of people were pointing at it. I mean, there were other people running. You know, there was a crowd. As soon as it made itself more apparent,
It looked like it was glitching. Not like a computer pixelation, but like a wavy glitch. And whatever maybe was covering them had unveiled or whatever. Yeah, it looked like a glitch, man. Like a weird glitch in the Matrix or whatever. And then you could see it in its full form, all three of them. And then they were all black. You saw eyes. And you could faintly see like...
like lips but um yeah i was about like 20 feet away um because obviously everybody gave a distance right and um you know they're tall um so we all just like looked at them they were just standing there and the thing that was a little bit weird but it was clearly like observing us it was sentient right like or whatever i mean i don't know but uh
It was aware of us. It looked at us, the whole crowd. And then as soon as it started walking with its big legs, like kind of like it started like almost glitching again. We all ran. My brother like immediately said, yo, let's go. He grabbed me by the shoulder. We bolted out of there. And for anyone that's like saying, you know, where's the footage? Where's the footage? Yeah, I know. I don't have any footage. And I'll explain why. Because like
When I saw it, I was in complete fear. It was something that I completely froze, man. I don't care if I sound like a bitch about it. I froze. And I don't care who you are.
I feel like when you're seeing something paranormal, it's different than when you're seeing a fight. Yeah, you'll probably want to record that and put it on Worldstar or whatever. When you see something paranormal, that's different. Because your reality, you can't comprehend what you're seeing. A fight, you kind of get it. Two people are fighting. You can comprehend that. Something like this, none of us could comprehend. Your first instinct is like...
It ain't to like take out your phone and start recording. Your first instinct is like, I've never seen this before. What is this? Is it going to hurt me or my family? That's my that was my first number one priority.
Um, so anyways, as soon, as soon as the creature started moving, we all just jetted out there. We, we ran out the, the, the front doors. Um, and you know, obviously like we see a whole sea of cop cars, mad cop cars that were other ones were coming in. Um, and we ran with our nephew and then, you know, uh, cop stopped us. Um, you know, it took us a little bit of a safer area behind, right. And, uh, behind the cars. Um, and then, um,
And they asked us what we saw and we told them what we saw. You know, they wrote it down and they asked everybody to check their phones. Not everybody, because there was mad people like running away too, right? They couldn't get everyone. So I'm wondering if someone's going to post the video. But yeah, they looked through everyone's phone. I didn't record anything, so I was fine. None of us recorded anything. So we were basically free to go.
But in the distance, you could still see like, you know, I didn't see the being beings come out the door. Right. But you could see on the side of the building, kind of like that clip that everyone's seen, that it was slowly walking. And it was like it wasn't cloaking or glitching or whatever. It was walking. So I don't know if it seemed more like it was an interdimensional thing.
someone's coming into our dimension or whatever, a bunch of them. Um, and it almost seemed like the cops had like a, uh, an already made strategy for it. Cause they surrounded the beat, one of the beings with like all their police cars, they blared it up even louder. Cause you could hear that it was louder. Um, maybe as an attempt to like distract it or let it know like, Hey, you don't belong here. Right. Um, and you know,
They were trying to like slowly move alongside with it. But I didn't see anything else after that because me and my family, we got out of there. We went into our car. We went home. All right. So that right there was the fourth video. Very interesting. Our fifth and final video that we're going to listen to kind of gives you a perspective from the police. And this individual posted this video on TikTok and claims that his father works for the Miami police and that he's actually about to run for sheriff.
And in this video, this individual has someone else video recording him while he FaceTimes his dad and asks him about the incident. Now, before we get into that, we're going to take a quick break. This is our last one, so don't go nowhere. All right, welcome back. So we're going to listen to that video right now.
How have I not heard about this? My dad's a police officer in Miami, and I mean, like, he's even running for sheriff, and I just talked to him. He didn't say anything about that. Hey. Hey, did you, uh... Have you been seeing the alien stuff? Did you see that at Bayside? Are you serious? You're joking. You're joking. Did they tell you not to talk about it? What?
So that right there was the last video that we're going to play of eyewitness accounts. So now we're going to continue on with our investigation.
So our next part of the investigation was to see what the officials were saying about the incident. So we're going to listen to what the local news stations were reporting at the time. - Chaos erupting at Bayside Marketplace. A fight breaks out between a large group of young people leading to arrest. - And police say at least four juveniles have been arrested in this one, accused of lighting fireworks and causing panic. And now we're hearing from the mother of one of those teenagers. Welcome to this, Christina Vasquez joins us live with the latest. Christina, this was a large group of teenagers.
You have that exactly right. Police pegged at approximately 50. We are also new tonight hearing from a business owner, but in a nutshell we have several teens now facing some serious charges.
Bayside business owner Sam Amin says it happens every year during the New Year's holiday. As you see, they're running around. They start breaking things. It was just really bad. A teeming throng of restless teens start roaming the marketplace's corridors. He shot this video before deciding to pack up and leave. It's really bad for business. Like when people start seeing this happening, they just leave.
This stunning video of a stream of flickering blue and red police lights stretching along Biscayne Boulevard shows what happened next. A citywide emergency call issued, say police, after a large group of juveniles ignited fireworks at the downtown Miami mall, sparking panic, disrupted businesses, causing damage.
As police escort about 50 adolescents away, take a look. An officer spots 10 to 15 beating a man. The minors take off, police follow, catching up with four of them, they say. Teens between the ages of 14 and 16 who are now facing several charges to include grand theft and assault.
And she was like about with about 40 of his friends. The mom of one of the 15 year olds arrested said her son is a good student who was with his friends last night, but she's not convinced he played the active role police allege in his arrest form. I feel like. I ain't gonna say that he probably didn't do it, but I know he was with the ones that did it though.
She goes on to say that in her view, she wants to advocate to the court that the charges against her son be dropped. But again, we have four teens between the ages of 14 and 16 years old, and all four of them are facing several charges to include felonies. Reporting live for you, I'm Christina Vasquez, Local 10 News. All right. So that's what they reported the news did about what was going on.
So continuing on into our next part of the investigation was to see why the police had so many officers show up because there was a big discussion with people stating, hey, if it was just fireworks, why were there so many police officers there? Now, Officer Rafael Horta of the Miami Police Department was questioned, you know, as to why there was so many police there on the scene. And he was quoted saying,
We had a large response to that incident on Bayside Marketplace. This is due to what happened there. About 50 or more juveniles that were shooting fireworks at people. There were also some looting going on, so officers that were on the scene were having a little bit of trouble containing it. So we called in what was called the Citywide 3, to which every officer in the city responded. That's why you saw so much police presence for that call to contain the crowd.
Now, we are aware of a video going viral of supposed 8 to 10 foot aliens walking around Bayside. That video is actually just a person walking in their shadow. So I can confirm to you all here today, right now, that there are no aliens in Miami, in the Bayside marketplace, at the moment. End quote. That's what the police stated as to why they had so many people there, and that there are no aliens there at the moment. They had a bunch of police officers there. They couldn't handle the situation, so they called in...
Citywide 3, which is all the police officers in the area has to respond. Damn. Yeah. All right. So I know in a previous video we watched from the eyewitness accounts, some individuals claimed that they had seen a black helicopter in the area. And we wanted to look into that to see if that was actually the case. Also, we wanted to see if the claims of the airspace above Miami being shut down, if that was true.
So after looking into it, we found no proof of the airspace actually being shut down. However, we did find proof of a police helicopter flying around the area of Bayside Market Mall during the incident. And we actually have that flight path image of that helicopter. And we'll post that on our website, theoriesofthe3rdkind.com under today's episode for anyone that wants to take a look at it.
And it is a 2009 Aerospace AS350 helicopter. And it is black in color. So if someone states, hey, we saw black helicopters in the sky, it was from the Miami police because we actually have the flight info log.
of that helicopter. Yeah. And I tried to look more into the flight paths and seeing if the airport was shut down and whatnot. So I ended up contacting a friend of mine who kind of works in that department. He's always dealing with flight paths of airplanes and such. And, you know, there's multiple sites that you can go to to look at flight paths that our planes are taking, but usually those are current, you know, ones.
So I was asking him, you know, if there were any that you could actually look at to see if airports were shut down or just like look at old logs. He's like, for the most part, it's kind of hard just to see. But if you actually contact the airport, the control tower, since those flight paths are public information at the time of their like flight, they are allowed to give you that information if we called them. But other than that,
I was not able to find anything of any proof. And like this image of the helicopter is one of the pictures they use saying that the airspace was closed down, but it zoomed in on the area. Yeah. There is a plane right there. Yeah, there's an extra plane that shows, hey, there was another plane in the air. Yeah. And you can see the helicopter in the air as well. So yeah, that was our investigation into the airspace. Now, our next part of the investigation was to see if the police scanners were made private during the incident.
Now, we looked into this part for a long time and could not find any proof that the scanners went down on the day of the incident. However, if anyone does come across proof that they did, please send us an email with your proof. And if it is correct, then we'll make a correction in this episode. Yeah. Honestly, I haven't heard anything. I haven't read anything about... I've only heard one claim from an individual claiming that the scanners went down. I mean, how would they just cut that off for, like, all the public stuff? They would have no way to communicate. Yeah, or to cut it off for themselves as well. Yeah.
Anyway, so the next part of our investigation, we decided to see who was the first one who broke the news on all of this. So as we dug into it, the first video that we could find that went viral was on TikTok. It was from a woman with the username Auntie Coulette. Now we have the audio of her video and we're going to take a listen to it right now.
You are gonna wanna see this because there is a very good chance, at least for the next few days, you will not see this anywhere else but right here. And if I'm being completely honest, I'm not sure what part of this story bugs me most. The fact that we actually now live in a world where something like this could happen, the fact that we actually live in a world where something like this could happen, but at this point, none of us will even be shocked.
or the fact that something like this could happen in our world, and not a single news media has broke this story, not at all. In fact, if you Google search it, it is quite a difficult find, which is all that much more suspicious with a story of this kind of size, this magnitude. And yet, here we are. Hang on to your britches.
It's going to get real. A couple of days in Miami, Florida at a mall, the local police were dispatched to the mall for an argument, a fight that broke out between juveniles. Juveniles, they say, have sticks and fireworks. Oh my. But auntie, why do you care if that's on the news? That isn't a big deal. No, my friend. Nope. No, it's not. It is definitely not that big of a deal. I agree with you. And it is definitely, definitely, hands down, not a big enough deal for the local Miami police department to show up on the scene just like this.
Right? That seems like a lot of officers to show up, but my friends, that is not anywhere near all that came. And once you understand and you hear the eyewitnesses' stories, I believe you will at that point understand a little bit better as to why so many police officers, probably a hundred, along with choppers, black choppers from the PD, patrolling the scene from above. And according to witnesses, eyewitnesses there, the Miami police was not dispatched there for a juvenile fight. And the obvious need for such an enormous police presence?
was far more sinister than what we've been told. As multiple witnesses claimed to have seen creatures that stood 8 to 10 feet tall walking outside and even inside of the mall. And the pew-pews that were reported and even the pew-pews you might hear in some of the videos had nothing to do with the juvenile fight. According to these witnesses, it was actually the mall goers shooting to protect themselves from these 8 to 10 foot tall creatures in self-defense.
So she went on and made a whole bunch of claims, pretty much everything that we already went over. And she was the first one to pretty much make the video about this and make these claims. It's what pretty much caused it to go viral. All right. So that was where the first video came from. Now let's talk about the next part of our investigation, Dan. All right. So the next part of our investigation was looking into other videos that we could find of the Miami mall aliens.
We were like, are there any videos floating around of aliens or interdimensional creatures? Well, one of the eyewitnesses that we watched earlier said that his friend sent him a video and we have it. It's really not that great of a video, but we'll watch it. It's supposedly of what happened inside the mall. So we'll have this video on our website, theoriesofthe3rdkind.com under today's episode. So we're going to listen to that video and watch it right now.
So do you want to explain what the video shows, Dan? All right. So it shows a couple people standing in the mall. Then all of a sudden, a big ball of light starts growing at the bottom left corner of the video and just gets
Two, probably twice the size of a beach volleyball. Yeah. And then all of a sudden it just collapses and it's gone. But it swirls a little bit too, right? It swirls a little bit. Then people around it start kind of slowly approaching the area and they're all wearing masks and whatnot. And the video ends right after that.
It's not in the same format as a phone video would be in. It's not even the same mall from what people are saying. I think it's a bullshit video. A lot of the people were saying, for one, they're wearing masks in this video. Nobody in that area wears masks.
So a lot of them were just like, I saw this video last year. It's somewhere in like Japan or something like that. Which would make sense because the individuals approaching it were Asian. Not saying that all Asians are just in Japan. It's the haircut. They all have the same haircut. The one on the right.
That is a very popular haircut. Well, take it from Dan. He knows best. He's half Asian. So take it from my mom for the fact that she loves watching Korean dramas and that haircut is very popular. All right. Well, there you go. All right. So the next part of our investigation are about claims that recently surfaced. So video ended up going viral on TikTok after all these other ones went viral.
And this is of a woman who's claiming that if you take the longitude and latitude coordinates of the Miami Bayside Mall and you reverse them, that it ends up being the coordinates to the middle of Antarctica. And that what had happened is instead of these aliens being portaled into Antarctica, that somehow they got portaled into the Bayside Mall. So we ended up digging into this and we located the Miami Bayside Mall coordinates and
placed them inside of Google Earth, and we have a screenshot of those coordinates and what it shows on Google Earth, which is, of course, the Bayside Miami Mall. Now, we ended up taking those coordinates and we reversed them, and we placed them in Google Earth, and guess where that places us? Not in Antarctica. The reversed coordinates placed us in the middle of the ocean between Madagascar and Australia.
And of course, we will post a screenshot of those coordinates and all the Google Earth images on our website for everyone to take a look at and to verify it for themselves. All right. So I did watch that video. And I just want to say how that lady was dumb. She had the coordinates wrong. It's a different mall that she looked up. She's saying if you reverse the coordinates, pretty much flip it, you find a place in Antarctica. And I watched the video multiple times. And I was like,
She is totally messing up the coordinates. So the way she did it was she found the longitude, latitude, the coordinates for them all, and then she said to flip them. So it's pretty much 25 degrees north, 80 degrees west. You know, that's just the basic form of it. So she switched the north and the west. So instead of it being north, it would be west, and then the west then would be north. But she also switched the north to south instead.
So now it's going to be south and west instead of north and west. Instead of south and east? Yeah, instead of south and east. The correct way if you was to reverse them. Yeah, if you were to reverse them, it'd be south and east. So originally north and west. And if you reverse them, it's supposed to be south and east. But she got it wrong. She only did south and west, which if you did it that way...
then you would be landed up in Antarctica. So pretty much she took it and flipped it, reversed it the way she wanted to for it to be in Antarctica. Yeah. Which if you truly reverse it, it doesn't take you there. No. You end up in between Madagascar and Australia. Pretty much in the middle of the ocean somewhere. Oh, people. All right. So why don't you tell us about the last part of our investigation, Dan? All right. So the last part of our investigation, we decided to see if there were any power outages during the time of the incident.
Now, what we uncovered is that around the time of the incident, that there was indeed a large amount of homes in Miami that had lost power. Around 30% of the homes to be exact. And we do have a screenshot of the area that lost power. And we do have the website link for the current power outages in Miami, which if you look at that, you would see that it does say that Miami has 61,290 homes without power. Which was back then.
Which, I mean, it's... At the time of the incident. Yeah, at the time of the incident, which if you look today on their site, there are multiple areas without power. So not just where the marketplace is, but a shit ton of other areas. So there's still 30% of homes without power? Still 30% of homes without power in that Miami area than in Miami Gardens, over 14,000, and Coral Gables, over 10,000, Cutler Bay, over 5,000. And there's areas that...
have homes without power, but they don't have an estimate on it yet. But if you look, it expands all throughout the Miami area. It's not just in the Bayside Marketplace area. Now, as we look deeper into this, we learn that the reason that people lost their power was because there was a high-speed collision in the Miami Garden area that hit a power line pole. So the power wasn't deliberately cut or it wasn't cut because of the portal that was made by the alien or creature or whatever the hell that thing was.
That was summoned up by like the radio DVD player. So there was like a logical explanation on why power went out in most of the areas. Yeah. And the power is still out in a lot of the areas as well. Which I don't know, like you look at some of these videos of like where the cops are and all that. The power is still on and everything. Maybe backup generators for them all. Possibly. That would be a good explanation. Yeah.
Alright, so that ends our investigation into this topic. Now we're going to get into the fun part of the episode and discuss the theories surrounding this entire thing. So the first theory is called Wag the Dog. This theory states that all of this was completely made up by the government as a way to get the public's attention away from something that they don't want the public to know about. Now what could that have been?
Well, the majority of people speculate that it was about the Epstein flight list. Supposedly, a lot of information was about to be released about Epstein, which included his flight log. So maybe this alien Miami mall thing was made up by the government to keep the public distracted and not pay attention to the whole Epstein thing. That's the first theory. I can kind of see that.
Because it sort of blew up right at the perfect timing. Perfect timing of it. Because, I mean, this supposedly happened on New Year's Day, but it wasn't until four or five days afterwards that the Miami thing actually blew up. And when did the flight list? Supposedly the first, and then they delayed it a few days. And then they were like, oh, no, we're going to delay it a few more days to release the rest of the documents. And not until the 20th, I think, they're going to release the rest of the stuff. I know most of y'all are like,
So y'all going to do an episode on that? Yeah. Yeah. Actually, that's the episode we moved back. Yeah. So just because we want to try to get more information on it. Yeah. But yeah. So I mean, that theory is believable. Yeah. So why don't you tell us about this next one? All right. So the next theory is called clout. This theory claims that the lady who first reported it did all of it for clout. You know, she saw the police there, how it wasn't being reported on, and then decided to create an alternative narrative to go viral and get clout, a.k.a. attention.
And all the other eyewitnesses did the same exact thing, made it all up, and it just went out of control. I can see people, like you were saying, following in her shoes to get the clout. Now, one of the eyewitnesses, he made the claim saying that he was in Miami at the mall at the time. Then the next video he made, he said, all right, guys, I was trolling. I was never actually in Miami at the time. I made all of it up. Sorry and all that. And people were just like, they got him.
The men in black went there, threatened him, and he made this video. So he would say that it was all fake so they wouldn't believe that there's aliens there. What about all the other people? I guess that guy's story was more believable than the rest of them. All right, so that's the second theory. So let's get on to the next theory, which is called real. So this theory is that the entire thing is real. Some individuals or teenagers got a hold of some device that allowed them to create a portal to another dimension.
They were scared of trying it at their home, so they decided to go to a public place and try it out. This machine caused a rift in dimensions, and a creature passed through it. The police and government then made up a story of teenagers setting off fireworks, and that is why the people were running away, and there was such a large police presence there. It's because there was a
creature that came out of this portal and the teenagers or individuals who plugged it in thought, hey, instead of plugging it in at our house and causing a big old power outage and them tracing it back to us, let's go into a public area and create a power outage where the mall most likely has backup generators at and plug it in. And then they plugged it in. They're like, oh, shit. And they take off running. So that's that theory right there, which, meh.
Kind of hard to believe, but I'll save my personal thoughts and opinions till the end. I have two things against that. Usually when you want to test out something like that, you don't want to go to a public place. Well, maybe if you're scared, you do. Maybe if you're scared, but if it's going to cause like a power outage or could do something like that, usually you go somewhere where you won't be spotted or connected to it.
You know, because obviously you had that one graffiti artist who was staring at these kids doing this already. Yeah, he's up close and listening to them. Even though he said he was on the second story of the place. He said he could hear what they were saying, which kind of you got a lot of people around. You got the things sparking. And even before that, a lot of people, you can't hear conversations on the first story. No. And you have the one store owner who was showing video of all the kids that were there.
And he was like, that's just the, you know, beginning of it. There's way more people there. How the hell are you hearing someone on the bottom floor having a conversation between the four of them or whatever? Hmm. I don't know. See, when I first heard of this story, I thought it was an inside mall and all of this happened on the inside, but it's an outside mall. Yeah, that's what I thought as well. But I don't know. Then you have the creature, which...
There are photographs that surfaced, but they are shadows. Clearly they are shadows. And everybody points to those as being, hey, that is a creature, but it's not. That's the eight to 10 foot creature. If you zoom in on the video like they did, it starts to look like one entity. But at the very start where the video is like very clear, you can see like there's three separate people there. But then as you zoom in, they just kind of like blur together.
So it's like that video is the only one I'm talking about that you can definitely tell there's three. Remember you showed me one. Yeah, there's another video that looks like a shadow. It's a shadow of somebody. That's the one I was talking about. Yeah, and that's the one that you kind of stumped me on. You're just like, you don't believe that could be an alien? I was like, I can't really say yes or no on that one. It was an interesting one.
All right. So why don't you tell us about this last theory, Dan? All right. So this next theory is called viral marketing. This theory is that this entire thing was made up as a viral marketing tactic for an upcoming movie or TV show. Now, as we looked into this, we could not find any information about an upcoming movie or TV show that this event could be used for. But I did read up this mall. They've been trying to rebuild the reputation of this mall and get it to where more people are coming to visit it.
So that could be viral marketing for the mall itself. Ooh. You know, hey, Exeter UFO or Roswell attractions. Like, hey, this happened here in Miami at this mall. Come visit us. More tourism. Exactly. They want more people to come to this area to kind of rebuild it more. Okay. I can kind of see that. That one, kind of believable. Yeah. All right. So let's get on to our personal thoughts and theories behind this.
Dan, do you believe that there was an interdimensional creature or alien roaming around the streets of Miami or the mall in Miami? No. All right, then what do you believe? Oh, I feel like I'm gonna get a lot of flack for this one, but I do believe what part of the police was saying was true. They responded to what they had got reported of an active shooter at the mall.
Because of the fireworks. Because of the fireworks, which they did not know that it was fireworks at the time. Obviously, in the two videos you hear people talking about like, oh, what's that sound? Was that gunshots? Gunshots. So people called up reporting gunshots. So the police responded to possible mass shooter at a mall. Now, when they got there, there were a ton of kids, ton of juveniles from what they were saying.
They could not get them to leave the premises. Looting was happening. Violence. Yeah, violence, definitely violence. But they had trouble. They called the citywide three, which that's the reason why so many more police officers, cop cars showed up. And I think that freaked a lot of people out that were viewing down at the mall like, oh shit, what's going on down there? And then speculation starts happening.
What is that? Was that an alien? Was that something there? Nobody's reporting on it. It's not on the local news right now going live. Here's my chance to go viral. Here's a chance to get more likes, more clicks. Usually I like to have a different opinion on the matter, you know, but in this topic, I'm going to have to agree with you. I think it was people in the moment, you know,
With the police showing up and then maybe seeing shadows or something and saying, hey, why isn't this being reported on? Somebody then saw this as an opportunity to go viral, made up a story. Other individuals started reporting on it to kind of piggyback off the fame. And that's what happened. Yeah. And if it was aliens, I'm sorry, but I would not leave it up to Miami police.
Where's the military? Where's the men in black? Calling the Coast Guard, calling everybody. Yeah, if something like that's happening. The National Guard up in that bitch. You think they're really just going to let Miami PD go in there and handle a freaking alien showing up in a mall? Absolutely not. Like, come on, guys. No. But, I don't know. Like, that's what I believe is literally things got out of control, which I'm just going off what the store owner says.
is that this happens every year around New Year's. That a bunch of people come in, destroy stuff, breaking stuff. A lot of the store owners end up closing their shops and such to prevent that during this time. Yeah. And what the hell are so many young kids doing at the mall at this time? I mean, they always are at the mall. I mean, it's on New Year's Eve, I guess. New Year's Day. New Year's Day, and it's this late. Yeah, I guess it makes sense.
Back in Virginia, our malls closed at like nine. Ours closed at like 11 was the latest. I think our mall used to be like that. But then once I think it definitely wasn't the pandemic thing. It was way before that. I think like when shootings started happening, kidnappings, they ended up closing the mall earlier.
Well, there's something else I wanted to mention before we close out this episode is that I went on Google Earth and went to the street view and kind of walked around with, you know, the Google Earth street view and walked around the mall virtually. And I came across a really interesting restaurant and I took a screenshot of it. And Dan, why don't you tell us the name of this restaurant? Oh, it's honestly, I love the name.
just because it's so weird, but it is called Bacon Bitch. And I am not joking about the name. It literally says Bacon Bitch. Bacon Bitch. They have multiple locations. They got one in St. Pete. They got one in Bayside, one in Orlando, and one in Miami Beach. And they got a breakfast, lunch, and, you know, little... Their kids' menu is called Little Bitch. I love...
If you wanted to reserve for like a birthday or something, it's called the bitch list. The drinks thirsty bitches. Oh my God. The coffee's cafe bitches. Dude, there's salads. You got the big salad. Then you got the bacon bitch bowl. I just want to go to this place now. It reminds me of that old burger place in Waco that used to be called Fat Ho Burgers. Get you a fat ho is what they would say.
But yeah, I just thought that was funny and worth mentioning to end this episode off with, you know, a little lighter note. Yeah, I really do wish it was like aliens, but that there's not enough evidence. No, it's all mostly eyewitness, which you can't really trust eyewitness unless you have evidence to back up your eyewitness accounts. Yeah. And I know the number one argument is
With all the cell phones, cameras, and all that stuff out right now, there should be at least an actual video of these creatures. Which, I mean, in certain situations like that, if you're running away from something, especially if you think it's gunshots. You're not going to pull out your cell phone. No, you're not.
At least I wouldn't. No, and like, people are so worried these days about mass shootings and such. Like, would you really, like, you start hearing shooting, you're like, oh, I got to get this on camera. Absolutely not, no. Now, the mall, though, they should have footage. Yep. Whenever that comes out. We may change our opinion. Our opinion may change, and I don't know, cop cams too. But as of right now, we're sticking with it was just simply someone taking advantage of an incident and trying to go viral. Yeah. Yeah.
All right. Well, if you or a loved one have video proof or anything that backs up claims that there was indeed a creature roaming the streets of Miami, send us an email. We would love to hear from you. That's right. With that being said, do you have anything else you want to add to today's episode, Dan? I do not. I do not. All right. Well, I want to thank you for joining us today. And again, thank you for your support. You are all amazing. Every single one of you.
So with that being said, Dan, you want to roll us out? Sure will. It's okay to be out of this world with your thoughts. Because you are not alone.
