What is up, everybody? And welcome to the one show. Honestly, it's not really that big of a story, but IT is absolutely hilarious.
Elon musk told he told his sponsors to go for themselves. That's one way to get him back. Yeah, I mean.
you play hard to get.
Yeah, yeah. I tried that with my ex know that I called her x not actually I never tried that anyway. That was a great title.
So what going to do in other news? A D brand there's A D brand and chastity y update. Oh yeah right.
I remember how is gona say betwen them ah d brand anyway, we're going to give you guys the update on what's going on with case to fied or we still love the brand bottle we're got going on here. I prepared at all. You had so much time.
I honestly did. I had an incredible.
I'm so late today you didn't even look at the dog and you .
didn't even take a topic that I wanted to show up.
It's remarkable. Now i'll just .
take a drink of water there there a tech conference that had fake a finale.
Speaker, no, yeah, that was almost the title of the video today. But look, was afraid that people would just see the title and we would get cancelled again. Yeah, so I thought I was a great title, was like, fake women are a problem in tech yeah, now so but it's but people would have click IT .
to click IT .
but no it's that they were actually fake, fabricated yeah made they were lied about so we're going to talk about .
that terrible it's actually really like like yeah so but we won't talk about that with that as the title okay yes yeah um okay what what is this viewer cent middle school driver and mining backpack?
That must be why time is here.
I K.
Yeah, that's great. Alright, what do we jump into? Not really that big of a topic, but let's get IT out of the way earlier this way.
Uh, following major advertisers leaving the x formerly twitter platform due to musk endorsing ing a tweet that honestly, I am not even going to repeat musk to a video interview with the new york times where he was briefly contract calling IT perhaps one of his worst posts, then declared, don't advertise if someone's going to try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail with me with money, go yourself. The c was repeated several times. So are they in a relationship now? I'm sorry, gliding at one point.
Hey, bob. And apparent reference to disney's bob iger quote, what this advertising boycott is going to do is IT is going to kill the company. And the whole world will know that those advertisers killed the company.
CEO Linda yaka o was apparently sitting stone faced in the front row for the interview. Wow, let me tell you, as someone who has gone through some stuff, you know, after bringing someone on to help me in a leadership role quite recently, I don't think this is how you do IT. I don't think you're giving music, carreno.
a lot of options.
lot of bamboo. Well, I was going to say and I don't think you're exactly toor a lap, but it's more like I don't think you're even giving her a ball.
You kicked you out of the stadium.
Go and then he was got you burned IT to think .
what happened.
And no, I don't think that the majority of people are going to blame disney for the downfall. Twitter, I mean, even the people who love twitter love that IT is a flaming pile of absolute garbage IT IT is a dumpster fire. And I can go itself, I think, is sort of the mentality.
I think that while there are absolutely things that are valuable about twitter, like I haven't found a replacement, for example, later messaging for how to know, I wasn't going to say that we've talked about that in the past, but I haven't found a replacement for staying up to date on my like juicy creator scandals. And for me, that's not just a guilty pleasure. There's definitely a little bit of IT, but it's also just being in tune with what the heck is going on in my industry. Like I should I should probably have some idea know like there's .
gotto be an option like like live stream fails.
You can like go to dick ero or something like that, like that. But that's what i'm talking about. That's what i'm talking about. Life stream fails. That's not and everything there?
Yes, I don't yeah exactly.
So I mean, come on, guys. Let me know is there is there a viable alternative because it's tailor enough for me at this point that IT knows that i'm probably gonna click on someone who is under fire for selling eight dollar cookies or whatever else, which to be clear, I think some people kind of is interpreted what I said about that. I I have not taking a stance on that.
I have not done any research into the whole like pokemon cookies thing, which I think is mostly blown over at this point, but seemed like IT seemed like some people thought that I was like taking a side in this. I've never tried the cookies. I've never tried the cookies that they are allegedly very similar to high .
the cookies.
I have a lot of questions about buying cookies online in general that sort of why are you shopping .
for cookies on the intern?
I did. I didn't even make IT .
all the way to the digital, all my no physical right.
thanks. It's been a great show.
Oh, man, anyway.
the point is, like, I I wouldn't know about stuff like that. And over the course of my career, I have, how do I put IT? I have made at least one questionable choice when I came to deciding go on people to collapse with.
And if I at least one.
that's all i'm saying, because otherwise I might end up identifying someone. But I don't. Look, I ve told you this one hundred times.
My life is a drama freezing. I sometimes violate my policy, but IT is my goal. IT is an aspirational statement, okay. And the point is if I had stayed up to date on some of the stuff, I may have made different decisions at least once.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, there's yeah, i'm not going to go into that father. Yeah, it's great because .
no one in the chat seems to agree about who i'm talking about, which is telling IT in of itself. Yeah.
yeah, that's amazing 啊 OK, no, no.
no, no OK OK, I completely miss, miss red, someone's S, I miss read someone's thing there. So, okay, you know what? Maybe there's a room for another interpretation here. Do you think that there is a group of people that would blame advertisers for the downfall of twitter because because they don't realize that twitter was never before and that making IT worse and getting in a bunch of legal trouble is probably not going to help you survive?
I going to you, at least some people would.
Is IT just as simple as as that you want set IT? Or would they've .
come up put that on their own? both? I think already on this train is .
a new train. Tell me this then yeah if if d okay or msi for that matter, both of whom I have told to go for themselves tonight, if either of them were to stop advertising with us.
I feel feel like doing that to do brand, make someone to advertise more.
Msi, i'm not sure about actually there's definitely people at msi that I have definitely told to go themselves just you know light hearted banter but not everyone. I don't have a personal relationship with everyone there. So good like me, we will see.
But okay, let's I didn't directly attack them if I if I said something OK OK. Okay, here's a controversial issue. Let's let's take the issue of taiwan VS. Is R O C or .
that taiwan?
Yeah, I get I .
forget what i'm sorry.
I don't remember. But the point is that there some debate over the name of that island. So what do we just but do we leave IT there? And and I could see, for example, a certain brand kind of going, okay, yeah, that was that was a red line.
Know linus took ka, and so he called the taiwan. He doesn't even know the other name for IT. so. Whatever, right, that the point is, one, someone could hear that and go, okay, yeah, red line, if all of a sudden, you know, L T T doesn't survive anymore, whose fault is IT?
I I think, yeah.
I don't know. I think.
I think a lot of IT depends on the viewpoint because I think it's going to depend on what you think of the initial statement.
I guess so but like from from from just I don't know, just like almost like a free will standpoint, advertisers are not obligated to advertise a particular .
I also feel like at least I logic sure there's people all yeah no, I completely that's really stupid obviously yeah agreed um but I also i'm sure some people care. I've never understood the like we're gna pull advertising on like even this type of content because advertising on IT means we endorse IT whatever. Like when you're taking the shotgun approach and just advertising on everything, like who cares? I've never seen a brand um have like an automated preval ad on something that I didn't like or agree with and be like I must cancel all affiliation with this brand like I just i'm assuming they're taking a shot approach and I just don't care.
You also understand how online advertising works to a degree. okay. I don't think that you your your great and mable necessarily understands that this is a hypothetical person. Sorry about IT.
I hope I have a .
and in the and in the past, traditionally that was the case. Advertisers would select television programs that were somewhat in aligned with, at the very least, the demographics they were trying to reach because IT was all so much more manual back then. And they they would tell you the messaging to who they thought they were talking to.
And yeah, obviously the way that that works is very different now. And I think that you know with the rise of the internet, um people can be into a lot of stuff that wasn't necessarily on cable TV know in the eighties in north america, for example. And so these are decisions that brands were never faced with before is are we are.
Are we willing to to take the the small hits against us from the people who still think that we have anything to do with the choice where and you know what actually let's not even true because you do still control IT to a degree. Like if you're, let's say, on A A pornographic website and you saw an advertiser there, okay, let's say you saw, let's say you saw crest White strips. You know, advertising like, do you like White teeth? Are you into White teeth? 我 哇 哇哇 这 这 算了 这 算了。
The right right like so tell me, tell me you wouldn't hear this time and do you hear this? Tell me you wouldn't have an association there. Maybe you also like buff wash. Wow.
I probably see you good sale. I would be .
hilarious.
sure, man. Especially the second example there, I just would think, would be so funny.
I would .
probably buy product, honest.
So oh my god, I would respect them so much. Okay, but now let's go, let's go. One more degree of separation talk now .
we want already. I want to show been running for member. He was like, i'm going to try to .
not respond to. No, no, no, no, no. That's not what I all no, like, like post moving you. yeah. Whatever, whatever exactly. whatever. What's correct? scrub.
Anyway, the point is let's go one degree of separation further though, and let's let's hear about or let's let's put ourselves in the mind of the person who reads about the scandalous behavior from I don't even know who markets creates procter and gamble or something. Probably I don't even know. Maybe it's three.
It's probably it's probably formal test there. Anyway, i'm just kidding. good. Sorry, sorry. My great grandmother brush your teeth with baking soda her whole life, which I didn't realize was an option, even though like the best tooth pace are the ones are like back, like go.
So I could just get a box that you could really anyway, you never had a cavity in her life. And i'm just like, that's cool. The year is now in thirty year.
I think i'll just used like a baking sort of tooth pace. It's mintie that makes my mom takes nice ah but that's pretty cool. I don't remember how I got onto the subject. The point is that were a degree of separation removed and someone reads about but I just .
this scandal st thing .
and how they support that how support that destroyed.
My biggest thing here is I it's it's not a the website itself.
the idea of the website itself .
because you are describing one where the idea of the website is potentially contentious. The idea of twitter is not really contentious. It's text. I mean .
the interaction, yes, logic. S and this is also a videos.
but it's a video site for a very specific content, which is contentious, but I think is for that content.
But I think what's contentious about IT is supporting that industry if you want to really boil IT down. And so specifically .
comments from the CEO.
I know so IT comes down to not wanting to support.
but plenty of people use this site that openly, viciously hate that person.
But it's the but it's the risk. It's the risk of having your brand message next to something that is highly controversial and or offensive.
If that's true, they should have been off .
twitter years ago, which is, I think, the point that I was digging for in all of this yeah that is the most valid take the fact that they are turning this into an opportunity to to posture virtue signal or whatever else IT is is IT just comes across this ingenuous to me. It's like if you if you don't support having your advertising next to content, you find offensive, then honestly speaking, you might as well remove IT from the internet.
You shouldn't advertising on redit, that's for sure. No, I don't know if reddit allows advertisers to select specific sub reddit or a specific drivers. Probably probably as an advertiser, you can say, look, I don't want A N S F W subjects or something .
like probably only .
two flags though I be surprised. I'm sure reddit like wants to offer more tailored advertising. Like if if i'm in the L, T, T, separate, it's always full, like tech ads or gaming ads and stuff like that. Like I do not get anything for .
the shoes I have to sign.
Mind you, that could be just because they know I never buy shoes.
My would I say, target your audience, reach customers, whether the most passionate, engaged. So you can probably pick like a style of substance or something like that question. So is IT time .
to start on x days until twitter dies pool? And yes, I did that on purpose.
You know what? IT didn't even face me because I didn't even think about IT as x like it's just it's such a weird.
Um is the time is like are we within the sort of hundred eighty day like it's gotta, it's really yeah .
do you .
think help put more money in? Because I don't think a third party, I don't I don't think in outside investors is going to after what into the last ones, they do have to be idiots. I mean, the last ones I don't no offence, a man, see how I going to maintain my drama freezes when I say things like no offence. But if you invested billions of dollars and twitter, you're finding IT. Um i'm sorry if your goal was .
getting a financial return out of IT.
Yeah I mean, that's true if your goal was something else, if your goal was you know closing up to mask or or the fellow investor, I I I know what your goal was, if your goal was something else and that helps you sleep at night, whatever is the .
primary goal of .
to make money i'm i'm so .
so that's .
yeah um yeah yeah I know I I like.
oh no.
I offended dozens of billionaires. I think i'll be OK without them.
You know I go off of the dms page on twitter sometimes and just go like what's happening out there not that often, but i'll poke around and it's insane. Yeah I like my comment of like they should have left a long time ago. I don't feel like the whatever the home button pages, I don't know what it's called for you or something. Yes, I don't know whatever page that is has been just complete chaos, some debate y forever and IT still is like that's just not to know.
Like captain slip says, I don't think they are dying anytime soon every social network and said, I see in the news about anything always an embedded tweet, never massed on every threads. It's still happening on twitter first and foremost. And you know what? I don't deny that their momentum.
the problem is the money. They're not a public company anymore. They have to be funded somehow. They can't just take money from the world um and like he was saying, unless because it's not a public company to gain money, he then needs to inject IT himself um which as far as I know, the only thing he has been willing to put on the line is shares no dollar dollars um no .
I think he I think he held chairs for cash make purchase yeah and correctly I .
thought he put the shares up is like collator .
know what okay i'm not going to lie. I remember when I passed passed mortgages and like basic bystry IT go up, make money. IT go down, lose money. It's not my world.
It's one of those things where I I would probably need more than the fingers on both of my hands to count the number of times i've had to look up exactly how shorting a stock stock works. Like fundamentally, I like kind of understand that you your you're committing to buy later, but at a lower Price. So if IT goes down, then you make money.
Like okay. But then the number of times that i've like landed on wikipedia, read through IT gone, okay, this is exactly the mechanism, and then promptly forgotten about IT. And then it's come up in the news again.
I'm like that this is so frustrating. I knew how this worked. And okay, how does that work to? I'm sorry.
atp R N L says the four u tab is totally based on who you follow. I don't believe that. Uh, just remove the rotten apples in who you follow.
Yeah, okay. It's like a bunch of tech people. Those people I follow for work. There are used to be people that I followed that would just straight up like just porn and IT would .
show up .
in my feet and i'd be like, what are you doing?
Didn't like, do you know .
that this like shows that everyone that you've done this, I don't know, but i'm not going to go. I'm not going to D, M, A grown man and be like B, T.
Dubs on.
Everyone sees what you're into. I really didn't value you for that, and I would prefer if you didn't.
I don't know. It's a funny thing because the way that I was raised was honestly pretty open about that. Like when I was .
when I was you effectively posting IT .
to everyone? No, when I was Young, okay, I I have family members, friends and even my own house that would have okay more on the artful side, but definitely have large, very new prince in their houses. I visited like family friends who definitely just had pinups literally pinned up like, you know, in their bathroom or in their house or whatever calendars openly on display.
You my one of my parental units, i'm just not gonna me them just to make IT easier so that I don't have to answer questions about this later because I can just say, oh no, I was referred to the other one one my one of my parental units had a deck of playboy playing cards or either playboy penthouse like like I don't think playboy because IT was not that classy so must have been like pense or husband er or something. But like I had access to those that you know eight or nine and yet i'm actually hyper conservative about that sort of thing. Like I see people just for like and so like what i'm trying to explain is I grew up with that just being Normal to just like have pornography in your house. And but to me, the idea of broadcasting that on twitter.
that to these people that follow you for tech content.
that I mean that, at the very least, I personally, if I elt compelled to share IT and know what, i'm not judging the kinds of shared experiences that people want to have, I actually am not, but I just maybe an adult.
And you can link to IT and say, like this, is that not say for work out, whatever, that's fine, but put IT behind, you know, make me take another step or indicate really, really, really early on that this is like something that you do on there or something I don't know. Hi A J, by A J, and you looking for you?
Hold on that. Look, this is breaking news. Click bait works. That's right, experts agree all you.
Have to do is you like to tell also deep and language? Yeah, okay yeah. This is a Christian minecraft server. mean.
They they said of mean word, does that not okay?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We only imply me work.
Any who are boy, actually, I haven't even looked at what viewers is like for the dream. All did this, did this work on everybody wo OK. It's pretty usually it's not that much is certainly in the ship men. We should say that every week, yeah, cool. We should just find a sponsor and just be like, and you, I mean, IT all last long, but boy would ever be a wild ride when .
you will do slightly Better for a .
few weeks hey, maybe you can happen like you drivers yeah, should be or I get hoodies. Jacob s got the hood. nice. Oh yeah. Gonna get the laptop bag later.
Hey, speaking of created warehouse stuff, what do we jump into our next topic, which is apparently that tiny is going to be joining us. Do you have like a microphone or like how does this even work? He's just been he's been he's been stoking. I love that word and I love using IT. He's been stalking over there and he's got a box and he's .
been a box sal king.
which sounds way dirty you're going .
to do VIP is .
a box scores. Er, I don't know, but it's apparently an emergency. Got got that EMS got that E. M. S. Tape right on there. Yeah.
that's a career right? I'm IT IT sounds. Don't check .
IT too much OK OK whatever .
in there is marching.
Well, yeah, he didn't define too much. This doesn't seem like too much to me.
Okay, interpreted that. Like don't shake IT any more than absolutely required.
cowered. okay. Would you like to would you like to do the care and handling instructions? Yeah OK, it's not like .
you're going to pay attention to them. So .
yeah, well, one of these things I think .
I figured out with a monthly draw, all you should just ceremoniously .
drop IT. Um okay uh I don't know where .
i'm source IT my god .
looks really long.
I know there is in like a thing which opens backwards and then they didn't use the inside of IT to type okay.
So basically IT looks like my daughters made IT.
This is advanced difficulty. Um brass brass will naturally develop a peta over time, giving IT a dolt finish a very tip of the brass crew driver is brass .
place is deal the very tip of what now uh .
the the brass played screw driver now might be a good time to look at the .
pieces on the inside of the boxes. O, I feel like, oh, hello, body. Hold on and hold on.
Hold on a second. Okay, we're going to do, oh, wow, that's interesting. Framing for the line is just perfect.
哦, well, was perfect. And then I am IT. No, no, you good.
you're good. It's behind the .
Better lifted up. I'm trying your first time you get up. What are you doing? And then this thing came down.
Use them, oh, my d cheese.
Alright, in one of them. Yeah, you like that.
I show up in OK.
asm goria. All is like this.
H think, I think the king .
is exponentially proportional to the number of people here.
Yeah.
but what can I say? I just like when people watch and get excited. okay. I think what i'm looking at are some prototypes. These look very OK, kind of not handcrafted.
Obviously these these are machines, but IT looks like various one off sort of component is very yet like attempt almost at something like this one has two of the flat sides kind of applied to IT. This looks like, oh, I think I I think I see what's happen here. This looks like a selector ring a weight.
Hold on a second. Well, this is obviously one of our racket mechanisms and chefs, I would recognize IT anywhere. And there's a whole bunch of other little like this.
This was laved and this is really good. It's flared out at the tips. So that's safe.
The racket that was hours may have came from us putting IT in the house.
We put IT in there OK a particular one of, okay, okay. So I think I think we're about to see something here .
for display purposes. The metal can be polished back to a shiny finish. The recommended polishing compound is something, something caution, please avoid excessive no.
no, that that the ratchet mechanism .
is based on a readily available screw. Ver performance is not on a par with the alto diversion. There's a spot in the mechanism for manufacturing mistake. There's no cause for concern um if the certain mechanism feels tight and uneven because it's not ours.
okay. So there are two drivers. There are two drivers.
You you might want .
to take just in time for the Christmas season, ruled off the .
red nose rain here so handle .
with I don't .
think I even touched them because .
of how then um that okay good I guess good job. Well okay so now hold on something. What am I looking at?
This episode is sponsored by tire rq. Since one thousand nine hundred and seventy nine, tire rack dot com has been helping people find the right tires for how, what and where they drive. They sell only the best, like the full line of reti. Entire test results, ratings and reviews are there to assist or try the tire decision guide to get a personalized tire recommendation, tire shift fast and free to you, or to one of over ten thousand recommended and solves in many areas. They offer mobile tire installation that comes to your home or office shop, retesting tires, a .
tire ac docotor OK 的 OK。
So the two drivers are quite different. Oh.
okay, you don't know, I could help wait. Ah this ones are reached mostly.
Yeah oh, okay. Listen, this extras in the package is a grab bag full of a selection of scrap flash prototype parts, probably be about five hundred box worth of shiny but equally useless parts. wow.
Small is into the months of manufacturing. Feel free to keep the grab back. So we are sending back the drivers.
This one is actually functional. That is so cool. Okay, here, do you want to have to show the next one? So this one, 哇, this one, wait.
Um oh yeah, no IT IT go. This one is not as functional as the other one, but this is polished baskets that gold looking yeah IT does that looks flip incredible. And the tip is played.
and you can to see how .
that looks different .
than the rest of the piece.
It's crazy. Ww, and this one was one .
that was based off of a different mechanism.
What they did a pretty good job of, I mean at least as as closest I think you can get um with not using a plastic multipart like having to do with flat surfaces, but pretty close to the hand field of arja. Oh oh, china has something else for us. okay. Does the person who made these know that they didn't need to do that?
I mean, that's never the point when you're making something like that.
That's fair, but that is pretty treated is this is what we have coming have do you seen .
this yet? Look, yes.
actually not a peak. That's way less fun time. And how close is this one to what we are planning to launch? Surface .
finishes may be a IT, but other other than that.
I should be .
pretty .
close already. So I was, I was 啊, i was playing IT up a little bit. I know that polish brass looks a lot like goal because we are going with polish brass, polished brass, because I thought IT looked so amazing for the accents on our aluminum driver.
Now obviously, it's not gonna is blame toast because this? So he definitely did still have to make his own if he wanted something that looked like that. But for the rest of you, the functionality of this is up to L, T, T.
standards. So it's really got that nice satisfying pop mechanism of the team worked extraordinary hard, at least that's what they tell me out and and I can never tell, just kidding, they worked hard. Red um retuning the selector ring and I believe you guys had to make some changes to the ratchet under IT.
Is that correct? I don't I don't remember. No, okay, so but they had to play around a lot with the selector because the way that the the the sort of one time um fit works on the plastic one did not work very well for metal.
And so the earlier ones IT was I think one millimeter rider and IT was IT was very noticeable. But I was like all this this feels wrong, please fix IT, please fix. And they're like ah okay when you but o our meetings are often go away like that ah so the person who made .
the other drivers got around the same problem in a different way. If you look at the stainless steel driver.
yeah okay, here i'm going to your .
can look if you spin IT and like if you select IT, you can see that the top piece doesn't no, I felt, I felt that already thread closing, so thread on this enclosing and then locked tito IT and then have the actual selector be A.
A separate piece. That's actually a really good idea.
So the the camera right on the edge of my fingernail, that's where the thing is.
That is so cool. So they .
definitely did some development themselves .
to make these work. I love. It's remarkable. These these are really cool IT is I always think nothing could surprise me anymore about just the passion of our community, the tech community in general.
And then i'll say i'll find i'll see doom running on like a fridge or or whatever, right. The IT IT didn't serve any purpose. IT served no purpose other than that.
Cool and i'm going to do IT. I just then I love that I don't think we're gna release anything this heavy ah going no he likes his heavy one. His likes stupid three d printed steel on a whatever.
But like it's a heavy though it's hard to use .
heavy it's unpleasant. I actually find IT like unbaLanced my body heavy like it's not it's not good but the iluma and one with the brass accents, we found that that was a good compromise. You looking at IT under this light time, and i'm not one hundred percent sold, is this pretty close to the finish that I had said I preferred?
I can remember aluminum .
finishes gonna change. So the luminous finishes going, okay, yeah but we're pretty settled on the shiny brass I think, right? It's gna get like this really nice po over time. Oh, and it's gonna so much Better of a fig toy too just because for a long .
time is is .
the right word inertia or momentum in this case because basically the same thing functionally. Okay, then i'm not gonna stress about IT. I want to hear the the closing sound of x more intertia, which gives them more momentum, right? okay. So I do understand the excEllent.
good job and the close.
So sorry, what we're going to say then I I want to hear IT close next to the MC little bit Better because it's just a beautiful sound. 吼 耶。 Love IT.
Anyway, yeah, that is so cool. Thanks for sending these over to us just to check out and we will get them back to in. I just I I love that is they looks, they look so good together. Okay, so time and I guess what that means is that for all the product photography for this, we have to do an inverse version just so that we can like have that look. Now i'm kids and I am.
I mean, it's doable. IT would be so heavy.
It's so much, it's so much functions the look on his face in person compared to just seeing him talk in chat. Yeah.
had to be here now then.
Ah right thank you so much for showing us that. H oh, this isn't the only thing. No, this there's another .
about backpack. We actually this is a topic and I guess it's here. That's what I think is happening at least. Yeah.
yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, yeah. okay. So ring back as the entirety .
of creator warehouse st was looking forward to getting this thing back to look at IT. yeah.
So what I mean, should we give people the should we give people kind of the background for this? Um IT first showed up in a post on redit where someone was talking about how .
pressure, eleven.
fresher, eleven yeah yeah yeah yeah ah yeah every go I I was talking about how resilient ent, the lt. T backpack has been and he demonstrated this by posting is absolutely abused like rect looking bag that he had been using for one year.
And naturally, a lot of people is response to that was, i'm sorry, you're delighted that this bag is that one year and still functioning and IT looks like that and is like hold on I work as a minor but no a real one like underground um and IT has been through some and he said that his previous bags were destroyed in half the time so he wasn't actually complaining about IT and in fact, from my understanding he intended to continue to use IT. Yeah but we saw an opportunity and I think that was actually due um from the from the social and community team who was like, hey, how about this? Why don't we get why don't we get fresh er a new bag that he can destroy in a year or a year and and a half or hover or long IT takes him because he's apparently A A unit.
And why don't we get that one back so we can get what is essentially um it's only one unit. It's not perfectly scientific or anything but but but a long term sort of projection of you know where the warehouse inc. Might be on our backpack if someone were to use IT for ten years or fifteen years um except fresher did IT for us in one.
So this is my first time seeing IT in person. 对, look, do you do you want to find IT? Do you do you want to open IT? No, no.
you can see there is big.
I hear and watch .
for the we really like that .
looks so far o them up. Wow, as does anyone. I have the lucky g right now. Does anyone have a regular L T T backpacks? Ce, for just for color comparison?
Because it's it's like almost.
it's peta. It's Brown. That's a Brown backpack. Oh, perfect. That's chance. This chance.
Oh, really, you took the only new caribiner that we have. Oh, we have an update for you guys on that, right? Yeah, no, no, no, no, no.
There's IT your name tag. What happened? IT, oh, no. H, i'm also a product testing.
Even I also developed them.
Yeah, the there's an update on them. I believe the first fifty thousand units are going into production very, very shortly. We have resolved the issue I talked about on the show Price previously where basically there was a disagreement over when we hold them more money.
And I I think we're moving forward, and I think things are going to be good, and i'm really excited to get those all shipped to people. Okay, sorry, look, I had you holding that basically forever. Well, I just dragged me.
But okay, yeah, you can um you can see a difference. All right, okay, cool. Here comes handles .
and like one hundred and condition and he was hanging IT off of his, like whatever vehm was that .
used the handle. We accounted for that we have not one, two, not three or four, five, six, six rivers through the top handle because I knew people would do IT. Every backpack i've ever owned has failed here or here or here.
And this like, it's fine. It's actually completely fine.
Bad is kind. I almost .
want to do .
this is .
like a colone. Both of the two at the top have there the like arms broken off? Yeah, I know we did.
Okay, I mean, you want to here, here, here. I A switch to the luke cam. Okay, they can see you. Oh well, the inside .
zipper .
is struggling a wee bit. The inside .
is a very useful ly. There are some samples on the inside of like what they mind, just as a heads up that is very dirty.
Remember how I said it's been through some shit? Some apparently been through IT too. Oh h, what do you got? What do you got?
I want to see whatever was .
in this one fellow out maybe IT was heavy. I mean, hey, look at the theory. Um it's real.
Mining is really yeah, yeah, yeah is very dirty.
yes. I mean, that's the whole point of the .
section actually Carrying coal in the.
I mean.
IT looks like, look presumable if not things covered .
in IT okay yeah enough yeah. Um am I allowed to am I allowed to say where they came from? I mean, I guess that doesn't really matter, right? Shoemaker minds, west Virginia, uh, two hundred sixty five to three hundred thirty million year old call.
Even though like laptop sleep very oh I .
know what like you to get for Christly.
That would actually be .
already we're bitten Brownie.
oh my god, is so call .
calories in .
there.
So are these. So we've got samples from various minds. No, this is from the same mind. It's just other more different saplings probably. So that, oh, I guess this is so multiple people on the team can have them as a keep sake. I mean that that kind of that, for my logic brain goes o check.
check. Even so, there's the main compartment .
proceeds to us.
There's the main compartment .
that we saw yeah.
yeah, yes.
Even though like laptop compartment that is scuffed.
but still in really good shape. Yeah like I like everything still functional, everything still together.
Okay.
I found one hole in the outside of IT.
You ve found a hole. Oh, I think it's time to go hole hunting. Or but they had the side pockets and they full a stuff too, a whole, you say.
Some people are .
a little roughly even .
party partial a part of whole because .
of a design choice that we made early on. Oh H, I feel like .
no a to .
get spica a good .
design choice.
not a good. Oh, okay, cool. Uh, now i'm .
stressed where .
you get to the bottom .
this one. Yeah.
is that what you call that a hole?
Well, it's through the, it's through one way, through .
one layer.
I think I think you put the bag down on .
something hot or sharp or shop. Okay, kk, here, the step of little hair. You're below the year right there. Okay, there.
Remember when I point to told the places that my backpacks have ever failed, I forgot to mention one, one of the final places that my backpacks have failed is along the bottom because i'm the kind of person who gets home at the end of the day, takes off my backpack grades by the handle, swings along the floor and checks IT to where IT goes. So my backpacks tend to get born really hard at the bottom. Um a lot of people have noted that our backpack is the heavy side when its empty.
Um yes and part of that was very intentional. And one of the reasons for IT is that the bottom panel, these entire two pieces right here are actually double layered. So in the event here, can I can I have a knife? Anyone got a knife?
And I want to damage IT more than IT is? Yeah.
yeah. That's that's fine. I think that should .
affect our analysis. Are we still doing .
the research?
That should be fine. I think I can cut IT.
Are you a contaminating a crime?
Me, there's no crying. Is you .
ever not okay yeah let's go for us to what's the line that .
they will do to OK.
So let don't yeah I go somewhere .
like far from that one. Don't go right the seam what are not .
on the same and i'll get something to IT. It's not actually that easy to cut every go. So theoretically, if our manufacturers following our instructions OK, there's not that one. Oh, is this one? Maybe it's just the one under .
the laptop compartment. Oh.
got this would be awwww cyber check .
in process.
What is not gonna t liners? Here's my, here's my second layer here. Well, then, wait.
Well, why didn't? Why didn't the whole? Because of problem? Okay, we need to investigate this for sure. Sounds good. Is IT under .
the phone?
Well, that, oh, can can I see? I think you, let's go go.
I think you'd after like really go and then take the from out because the foam is like stuck on something five and seven.
A good day. Everything is fine. I'm not sure if I agree. I think there's definitely some stuff first to figure out here. Thanks.
time in good chat. The backpack is an remarkably good shape.
That much is true, but that doesn't mean that I am not a little put out right now. I'm always a little put out.
but was that, that other .
layer. So we need to get that information to the .
team I covered in cold as .
soon as humanly possible. Thank you very much. Tiny and HMM, thanks to explore.
Have ever told you guys that there's never a dull moment around here? Yeah, there is always something. Anyway, at least IT was hard to stick the knife through. IT, oh, what like.
yeah.
What i'm actually wondering is if it's double thick and if there might have been a bit of missing unico there with that going. Sorry, I I mean, actually just like I know all and working on stuff moderate and no, i'm good. Thank you. So i'm just onna put more holes in this tiny. I hope that's okay.
I don't think that matters if it's not. That kind of a lot easier.
it's. Gonna be really hard to tell.
You will look into IT you'll yeah.
yes, please. I don't need .
to tell him what he needs. So I don't know why I even started that.
Alright, thanks, guys. Sorry, sorry. I just I see, I see problems I need to learn about them and I need to fix them.
And it's as much a compulsion as IT is actually a practical thing for the business. One of the problems I have right now, as I haven't explained about merge messages. So guys, if you want to interact with the show, the way to do IT is through a merge message.
You can pick up one of our lapful backpacks, one of our a delightful, but not this one you don't have to do, have to duck that much. You wants one of our delightful screwdrivers. Move on.
Here's the one we're actually promoting right now. IT was in my pocket, you go, got our new retro color way, super so cool or whatever else strikes your fancy. And in the car you will see a little box titled merge messages whenever were alive. So instead of just drawing your money at the screen via super chatter, witch bits or whatever else, you get to throw your money at the screen and get your order in the mail.
And as a bonus, IT will go to producer dan, who will either forward IT to the relevant party internally, replied to IT himself, chuck IT up at the bottom of the screens so you can do a little shut out, or you send a little message, or he will curate IT for time and starting investigating already, or you will curate IT for me and loop to address on the show. So to show you guys how IT works, dan is going to pitch us. A couple emerge mesage to talk about right now.
Yeah, sure. I've got a couple here. First one up, I started a new job as a dell and the oval warranty technician.
I love my new jobs so far, but i'm afraid that I will upset a customer eventually. Do you have any advice for me? I mean, I don't think there's I don't .
think there's any .
way to avoid that .
you're not eventually .
customers .
not customers before even phone.
Yeah, sometimes it's nothing personal. I mean, that honestly is probably the best piece of advice I think my aunt ever gave me, is that everyone has baggage is the way that you kind of put IT. And you know what, some people have more baggage than other people, and Carrying IT is really tiring for them.
And that's not your fault. You know, you need to be empathetic. You need to try your best to understand their position. But beyond that.
people, it's not your jo B2Carry dub.
but it's not your jo B2Carry the ir bag gage yea h and and I t hi nk tha t tha t's pro bably the the bes t way for you to kin d of thi nk abo ut tha t is, hey, look, this is I can take this personally right now.
I got to recognize that in good faith I did my best here and maybe I did screw up but if we are both trying to get along, you know the most important thing is trying to reach a resolution um and getting angry is not not going to change anything about IT. Um maybe that person doesn't understand that or maybe they are not in a state of mind right now where they are they're able to think about IT that way. But whatever the case is, I just got to recognize that this is not my baggage, this is not my burden to Carry.
And I gotten just keeping me and keeping my myself, that that what I would recommend, cause IT will happen, will happen. Hi L. T.
T. Crew from oklahoman. I was on dering when the noxious additional crew driver would be released and will there possibly be a stubbly version? Um we've been asked about additional calories for stubby. I think that in the very long term, we'd love to just find a way to handle lots of different colors or whatever.
You could buy a preloaded, you know, hax one and that would be whatever the like hacks sort of industry standard color is other colors, of course. One, hey, time I can't remember on the screwdrivers is that that the colors correspond to the size or the bit type. He's gone well.
Great, perfect um cool. Anyway, you know, I I would love to have all kinds of different options. Do like fun, little drops. Here's here's sixty nine, the lambo edition ones you whatever, right? But right now we have to focus our manufacturing capacity, which if your regular viewers will know is a lot of IT here and and know not him, you're not the .
manufacturing. I know I an oh .
I uh red filled screw driver.
Okay.
so that's by bit type.
Blue field screw driver often neues for electrical work.
Green pork screw driver used .
for electronics and appliances are you .
ready to go through this whole thing?
I was going to be sure i'm.
you know what, i'm actually .
here for yellow flat screwdriver, black magnetic screwdriver, orange insulated screwdriver used for electrical work to prevent electrical shock, and silver precision crew driver used for small electronics and devices. Well.
we probably won't be following this key, but do something. The point is right now, we need to focus our manufacturing capacity on the the few skills that we are that were bringing out, but in the longer term, that we'd love to do all kinds of things. What I said last time people asked about different coloration on the study is, yeah, we'd love to, but we need to see the study be a big success in the standard colors.
And then we will consider bringing in additional colors because your additional colors are always going to be some proportion of what you would sell in black. I have yet to see any evidence, whether it's t shirts or sweatshirt or crew screw drivers or anything. I've yet to see any evidence to support that some other color will sell more than black.
I want to throw something into the ring, the swim trunks.
yes.
black.
still old, old. You know what I would have to go back and look at. I have to go back and look at the launch. And I don't remember when we launched IT because we've sold through all of them. So if I just look at a huge time period, just going to say how many we ordered.
I feel like that would be the best bet. Yeah.
anyone remembers when we launched these swim trunks size? I can't look at up right now posted in the chat, and then i'll go find out i'll let you guys know. I then hit us sure thing.
Um lovely guys. Have you heard of sending uh, H D M I signals through a box of, I guess, either net to get high, got the audio video over long distances, no five or optic wire needed hd base. T H, yes, it's super cool. We actually did a video showing that um the the title was a quite clickable. So IT might not be the most obvious thing for you guys to find, but I think I remember what I I think I remember what is called weirdest graphics card or something like that.
Why those are great there?
IT is, man. Man, i'm good. Erit is this GPU super cool.
IT has ethernet jazz on the back. Because that function is functionality is built right into IT. cool. yeah.
Super nett, right? I think we still have the six by one hundred meter sport of cable that we used to do, the tampa s it's too valuable to throw away, but it's too in practical to use because it's like this crazy difc armored cables, something oh, oh, oh, when not to a crew driver. I think maybe sometime.
Nice, alright, is that the .
three now hold on is he's looking. I am actually looking. But yeah, you can do anyone you want for this is just a more much, uh, okay, when I get one here for, look, uh, deer L L D, first off, I and hope you're having a great day second off line, us go self third, now that i've got your attention course I believed IT look what's the thing the biggest allowed to discuss bug on flow plane?
I hope I believed, I think I test my button. That's fine. If I seen no evil, I can also neither hearing .
or speak IT. I don't know. I don't feel like it's really been that bad. Um we've had a lot of issues with our transporting system for a really long time, but we're out of those waters now.
Um not only did we more less fix the transporting system that we have, but the new one which is gonna awesome, but the new one is like very near completion and should be in preproduction for the of the year. So um yeah but that was that was a big issue earlier this year. But yeah, I think we were most other that now I think that was that's probably the biggest problem we've had. That was like a long running, I don't know.
always be here, a flow plane. We apparently have two flow plane. Exclusive videos where time and talks about the metal screw driver in more detail and one where the created warehouse team looks over the mining backpack that one's coming out next tuesday.
Everyone's already there. And then the car has team at the backpack. I'm glad they did that before I put a home in IT mind. Do IT might marry to follow up video if.
depending on what we find will have to see.
ran off with IT like right away he takes up serious yeah to be clear, when I when I single out time and that doesn't necessarily mean that I am saying that the rest of the team is not good, is, is I like canberra? You have to no, no, no. I like one dog, one hamba right now.
The both same time, I just mean that doesn't surprise me at all that he immediately went where he has more access to tools else, right? Why don't we what you want to do now, what don't what are you going supposed to be doing? We are asking about the noxious school driver timing.
Oh, right. Yes, I did look that up. Um here's the last update that I have from nick. Twenty four thousand people have signed up for uh a notification when it's in stock um historical the conversion is obviously not one hundred percent, but that's good.
Um boxes are expected to be complete in early december, then this is just pending shipping of boxes and screw drivers maybe no, i'm not sure maybe the screw driver has done boxes for sure that we need to get that done. yeah. So you will not be getting an up to a screw driver for Christmas, which is unfortunate.
What do you do? Because they look. So these are my, these are my hacks, my metric, my imperial hacks.
You.
this is my standard bit set. I never thought about doing that. Oh my gosh. talks.
I still, I still really like the custom. Screw you ever that you and I made that one night. I love IT we made one that I can 稍微 oh .
ah yeah yes.
it's actually awesome. Every time I use IT at home like this is weet is there's no you can never get like really high quality products in that type of a color scheme like IT actually looks like a kids story. But that is, yeah, it's great. I ve IT.
We would love in the longer term to have A A B O S, A bill. Drones, crew driver can figure that thing. I think that is something we may be able to achieve at some point.
I haven't talked about this much, but we have fixed shaft screw drivers coming. There's been a ton of work. Uh, Robert from the crater warehouse team has been heading that up.
And it's more chAllenging than you would think because we are not just taking some screw driver set from some factory and silk screening our logo on IT. That's not good enough for us. We are creating something really special.
A we are um we're going to be using a very similar ergonomic shape compared like compared to our racing driver. But obviously, the shafts are going to be thinner so that you can get into places that a multivu screwdriver simply can't. They won't reach IT.
They're going to have an over grip because we don't have to fit all the bits inside. So there's enough room to do um a multimodal cess so will have like a harder, harder inner mode and then a softer outer mold but not soft soft. We want something that's like you know got a little bit of grip to IT feels nice in the hand but is is not gonna wear out.
We're going to have um these little kind of 8 plugs。 Well, they go on the butt of the screw driver in their plug, so of their end plug and plug, let's called the end plugs. They plug into the end. So we have these end plugs that are going to be modulate.
And the reason for that is not because you will even not because you will want to or even be able to take them out, but because the idea is that we are going to have the final assembly of the screw drivers be somewhat module. Oh I I believe we are leaning towards a forged um forging shafts. There's trying to think if there is like anything else to really say about that. But the cool thing about the way that were developing this product is that we're going to only warehouse shafts, handles and end plugs. So the idea is that if you wanted a longer shaft or if you wanted um a number one phillips with a bigger handle or a smaller handle, we're going to have five different handle sizes or if you wanted customed .
a fix screw driver as well.
exactly. So you could kind of create your own ultimate fixed shaft screw drivers set for your needs and have IT match all your other screw drivers, assuming that you just get them all from lt. T store and there would be no reason not to because they're going to be flipping awesome.
Um the smallest handle size is kind of down to almost precision territory because remember, we do have a precision driver coming for that really find work. And then the biggest one is actually bigger than this one. It's like like you know like like a number three flat head like the handle on one of the manufacturer says don't use IT as a prie bar but like I can do in what else .
what else is anybody .
doing with the this screw drive? um. Oh, are we still alive?
What .
which chat saying? F cool. Anyway, really excited about those.
I forget what the point of what I was talking about was, but it's going to be great. What are we proposed? Oh yeah, topics are the hot ones.
Ohh, man, because it's really turning into the match show. But then. Not you producer of the h three podcast, ironically.
yeah, was every .
every podcast has a then they are all named them on recently called the L T T. Screw driver. He do, do they have my audio? They should. They can.
Is that is that thing on your laptop? Sorry, is that a thing that can be had? From I got IT now。 ready? Got IT now.
Okay, I here we go, here we go, here we go, here we go. Do you want to be able to hear IT? alright? Yes, good.
Let me see you can get through to you. You're going to have some slap back, though. Can play.
Be playing IT. I'm not i'm not getting idea from here then. okay. Oh, really yeah what else the last time? Well, I definitely hear what you're calling slap back that is it's muted in the player.
Pretty rough is IT, I think so .
how is your problem? There are really cool, ready?
Oh, by the way.
shout out tips. Or maybe I do. I wonder if their down versus are then there then would be able to get audio to see.
No, you're not sending medio. You do a great job play the video now. Now we're here that are. Take some .
still .
with. Well, I am okay. Um is okay. Hold on, hold on.
Okay, I have an idea. I have an idea. You're gonna hate IT.
Are you ready for this? Oh, I got IT. Now you you can play IT. Now she's, I just going to hold my phone up .
to the throw.
Yeah, is amazing how quickly you will figure IT out when you, when you, when you offer up a jackie solution, i'm going to put them to go export. And kay, ready? Oh, by the way, shout out quite your site tips or maybe not the law. I mean, they had. I'm not in that world, linus.
Some people are matter of them.
are matter of them. He dentists, though, shot out this. So the only influence of product i've ever bought in my life really is hit lines, screw driver.
And this genuinely is such an awesome screw. What's so good about IT just really well made. It's a rtd screw driver.
So this span is selling screwdrivers. He's selling screwdrivers. And then the bottom it's got, oh, that is in there. I've never seen that.
please. Like, so nice. So yes, this is an official lind's tech tips collaboration here. Thank you by us.
So IT teck, yeah you .
building your computer, I don't know matter.
so cool. You don't have to build a computer of the discrete every anything.
It's actually when you try to do something else, there's like a BBA that comes up impossible.
You should .
try IT out. I want test IT.
I really like the idea buying four or five to store all there your different bit types in. I am definitely doing that. That is a genius idea. I never thought about doing the flex.
When did you think of doing that?
H, immediately, I just had to wait first to make more colors of IT. Why I didn't. Yeah, you should advertise that on the story. Like I said, I, yeah, of course I want to do that. No, just have.
Like, yeah, you can buy a set and there are all different colors, so you can immediately go straight to the right set of bits, right? Because sixteen bits that, excuse me, five of bits, that's not enough for me. You know.
as an owner of or five, I will be doing this immediately. All yeah I mean.
even if you have all all the same color ones, you could just put like a thing a tape around or whatever else and then their color coded, boom.
you good apparently, uh, people in flow playing chat saying i'm wrong because they they use that for things other than building computers but I still think you should could be lying.
Their bias chat. There are the most .
hard core. Yeah, yeah. Okay.
let let's talk about fake women who got a conference cancelled. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Way to go.
Fake women online developer conference dev ternary right turn ny sure uh has been cancelled after several tech executives withdraw as speakers, setting the revelation that its organizer, uh, Edwards saves, has apparently been making up fake female professionals to list as speakers at his conferences, including fake biography, credentials, photos and social media accounts.
The motivation seems to have been to trick male speakers who would otherwise refuse to attend on the grounds that the speaker list was not inclusive. The conference was scheduled to have over a thousand attended, with admins costing uh from four hundred and thirty five dollars to eight hundred and seventy dollars. Some of these deaf conferences are really.
yeah, that's wild.
At least one of the fake women, Julia CarOlina, appears to be a direct a sock puppet, and her social media counts frequently post the same content as the organizers own accounts of her bet. I'll be IT with the addition of tatius photos and o is very cool. Uh, her post.
Go back to twenty nine. The organizer claims that the second fake female speaker, anna boyko, was a demo persona from their test website that was mistakingly included in the speaker list. Yeah sure whatever. Uh, he further stated, this year, despite our attempts, we've achieved a worse than expected level of diversity of speakers. There have been thousands of events chasing the same small subgroup of female speakers.
Okay, now hold on a second. Can we pause for a minute here? Find a different one.
Find a different what's I .
like women to speak at your event?
Oh yeah. I think this point is that there isn't enough.
okay? So then making up fake ones .
is the solution. One reason why this may have gone a notice that previous events is because of the relatively low number of women, both fake and real, attending these conferences. Only four women were supposed to speak at death ternate, and only two appear to be fake. Further, only two .
appeared to be real. I guess is that that was meant to be ready.
I mean, it's be the way.
So all on, sorry, I am let you finish. But was he not expecting people to notice?
I'm assuming you just call like a last minute call out.
Is this is is that the real take away here that he's been pulling this con for years, pon intended? And no one has gone. Yeah, wow.
No one has gone. wow. I saw her on the speaker list.
I want to see her talk. Wait a minute. Where is SHE and figured this out before. So is that the actual problem?
Well, well, no. So okay, as I expected, reading reading forward.
one of the real women dropped out due to medical .
as they actually only had one real one.
And in previous years.
IT appears that the small number of fake professionals would cancel the last minute, which would appear to the observers as a coincident rather than deliberate fraud. So yeah, they would just have them cancel and then they don't be like, oh, sorry, guys, not all the panel presenters are able to .
make IT and then you just.
but most of them do, and you paid a thousand dollars to come here anyways. So hope you enjoy the stacks.
I don't know. wow. okay. Our discussion question um while organizers clearly shouldn't be making up fake speakers for the sake of appearance, is there a genuine supply issue when IT comes to prominent female speakers in tech OK? So this there's two answers to this, right?
When IT comes to prominent female speakers in tech, I mean, yeah like you could obviously find them doctor lisa, you or something, but does he want to talk at your events? Is busy kicking the s of a company that ten times their size, you yes, not even development anyway. So are there prominent in a women in tech? sure. yes. Are they busy? Maybe do you want .
to come talk at your free convent?
Someone else have an opportunity. And is is IT possible that, you know, the other ones don't want to speak at your event because it's like a it's almost like a like a chicken and egg thing. Like do they feel .
I wouldn't too surprised if there was like some comradery amongst the female presenters that do these events and they might communicate about what events are. cool.
Yeah.
I could see that I don't i'm not I have no idea, but that just kind of make sense to me. Um craters talk you know i'm sure it's not that different for um people that host events, talking events.
craft two cases. So tired of the sue simply well then maybe sorry.
time he'll be into leather jackets and expensive .
kitchen like yeah maybe intel, you want try you know, being competitive. I mean, it's an idea. It's an idea.
Why would you laugh?
A real idea.
That's good.
Maybe you should talk. I'm going to call them right now. You can say, look, if you don't want us to talk about how great AMD is doing under the leadership of doctor suit, then maybe you should compete Better.
Yeah, okay. Well, let me go up in. I mean, it's all the numbers.
How do I? How do I die? Intel, so t .
nine .
world plane is a boomer man. Anyway, you know, I got admit, I don't I don't have solutions to these problems. I yeah, I want there to be them. But like.
I just got added, I I organized a ference. Yes, currently the .
thing added .
to what, like.
oh, added are you rolling .
is boomer sorry?
Yes, yes. I mean, I talk .
to each other.
Oh yeah, okay, was a really a question. Um okay yeah. Pokey mans of prominent woman gaming.
not tech. This is a developer conference.
This is like, you know what this is like when people when people say that .
and SHE doesn't want to .
go talk there anyway, this is like when people say that i've run a tech company.
yeah.
I do. You do well, okay, that's a different company. I mean, runs a clothing company still run, but that's not what they're talking about.
That's like when people say actually things about me.
no, just no, no, they go lying is like hamburger. I'm going to do the right. okay. The point when people are referring to linus media group and they say that I run a tech company serious.
Ly, the number of people that have made business pitches to me, you know, saying that I could you help assist them? We are asking if I have any advice for their text start up. I'm seeing here going, I literally IT has the, okay, I put my own name in the name. Okay, I put everyone else in the name, and I put, and I put media in the name. How can I be more explicit?
Yeah, but you'd literally .
had a software start up. Yeah, I know. I mean, did I have IT started up or did I have IT just .
kind of the wo wow, boom? I mean, I was told when we were starting IT, like you know, when you guys are ready, i'm so excited. I am going to like do the business side of .
this and then .
I wanted to yeah was really busy.
A man, I mean, in fairness to flow playing guys, the tech is super cool. That is very good. And the supporters over there, so be amazing shot out flow playing chat right now.
IT is self sufficient. And i've told you this before. Floppin did what I thought was impossible.
Flow plan built a completely self funded dev team within our company that has allowed us to do all kinds of incredible things, many of which you haven't seen yet. But you will, you will someday. And it's awesome.
And all of this, all of IT, is possible because of the flow plane supporters that we have. So you know what? Shout you guys, you are the real MVP dank .
pod likes he likes a lot of pod is is a fan. Yeah we legitimately .
do have actual craters on the platform other than ourselves as well. Yeah, it's just they have be realistic creators that understand and appreciate the value of low plane. The value is not that you're going to get the best possible revenue split because that's not how this works.
We are self funded. We have to we are privately held. We have to actually make money. This is not just we can burn VC money and just create a large user base without Carrying about sustainability. Our our revenue share, as I believe, competitive with youtube membership and with twitch, but compared to some other services that, for example, don't pay for their own video hosting yet, it's not gonna look as competitive. But the difference is that we're never gonna look pull you because it's sustainable, right?
So we have new channel.
the platform to and there's really cool stuff i'm going to do about that a second, and there's really cool stuff about the platform that not everyone appreciates. Not everybody cares that you know the sound quality is Better. Dan pod does.
It's very nice. Stream matters a lot to him, especially when streaming. It's really hard to have a drum stream sound good when your audio is all compressed to hack.
We don't even necessarily know why we didn't do a lot for that. People come to the stream all the time and they are like, it's great. It's like, okay.
But look, that's exactly .
we didn't do and I we .
didn't kill IT sometimes that's all you have to do is not make IT works actively.
We hit commerce with that like literally all the time and it's it's always surprising to me. I don't watch a lot of streams though, so like one so do you any idea why .
the twitch stream keeps gone down? This flow planes not, and youtube is not.
if youtube and flow plane or not, like.
that's weird.
And James channel, James channel is now on the plan. You might recognize that reference. Maybe I don't know possibly if you have watched, uh, what is IT called on youtube.
It's it's the trash networks car general, which I believe is garbage time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. go. So garbage time. He is the mechanic for dank pots on garbage time, and now he has his own channel on fly plane. I'll super cool doing stuff with video games.
I am apparently not prescribed yet.
Video games, retro video games.
super cool.
Checking out electronic .
value released from mcDonald d's. I mean, yeah, it's definitely these guys have A A vive. they.
Oh, I wonder if i'm a love to, you know what? I'm i'm i'm going for IT. I'm going for IT. Did you know that someone is traveling? Is that is that can described?
Yeah, he has no public. yeah.
Appeared tly ly, we're hanging out. is.
So I was like, oh, odd sure that dank .
pots coming down. Yeah, that's going be great. sick.
We made our own headphones. He's he's going to help us. He's going to help us review them.
No, no. I don't mean we developed the product OK. I mean we made headphones. Yes, adam was involved. So you know that the build quality is gonna on par with what adam and I build.
I love I was I was told the set James channels channel public um and it's there and you can see IT, you can see all the content but you he didn't set up any plans so you you can subscribe so I did down to go and and set some plans.
Next job on boarding their look, I did what I could .
guys said, the plants.
I mean, if one hundred percent of the users you on board this week screwed up, then is IT really on them?
That's a good point. That is on mostly a pretty good point.
Uh, okay, another topic I wanna talk about the d brand chastize y situation are right. So this source one is, source one is on twitter. Twitter 5 mango parade at the brand。
I work at best by got an internal notice that chastize es rip off products are being recalled countrywide, don't sell. Recall withdrawn iphone fourteen pro cases. Fy, oh, interesting. I wonder if this is best by his own initiative, or if this is case to fine, trying to get these things back.
What is that? Text, don't sell. Dash, recall, slash.
misspelling over the drawn don't sell recall slash with done um okay um alright. Castigate, says IT, is investigating the allegations of copyright infringement ment levelled by debris and is act from Jerry with everything as well as A D dos attack that disrupted our website when the allegation surfaced. Um are you really expecting sympathy right now? Also, protect, don't complain about A D dos. Oh, I did think .
like what you what you going to come up with with your investigation.
If I was going to write a manual, okay, if I was gonna ite a manual, leave that very load for how to not, for how to not not get d dost IT would be to say, no, it's just put to me that would be, no, that would be step one in the manual.
No.
boy IT me sad. But yeah, my thing is like what they think .
they're going to come up with like IT was definitely deep pride. Who did doors like what think gonna result .
in no IT was IT um yeah um they claim that castillo has always been a basin of originality and they hold pride in that. That's cool.
The brand has been one heck of a cat in the whole time. So I think that makes sense.
And really kennon attacking that. Do you like to send IT case to fight? Withdrew its line of insight out cases from sale on its own site last week, but they were still available for sale .
in person and online via best buy this week.
That kind of make sense. Um our discussion question, this is great. Who the hell begins there? A copyright claim investigation with.
We have always been a best year of originality when the legend I added this part, a legged crime is this obvious, the guilty clifty. That's the full. that's. This this is brutal, dude, yeah, this is absolutely brutal.
I I can I mean, here's a thing, I I think if they apologize, it's an admission of guilt whether if they don't, they can still fight IT so that so like, I don't know exactly how the legal system works. Even here, I have really been embroiled in a lot of legal troubles anyway, and I especially don't know how the legal system works in other jurisdictions. But my understanding is that, you know anything you say can and will be used against during the quarter of law.
If they were to say something like, we're sorry, we infringed on you let's we're going to pull them down now. Then if the brand and zack were not just all like, okay, we chill now, then their case would become even more open shot than IT already appears to be. So I doubt they have a choice with respect to you apologizing and admitting their errors um at least from like protecting themselves from legal damages standpoint.
But they definitely didn't have to say that they were a basin of originality. yes. So I guess that's where read on that.
Interesting in ontario, there apparently is an apology act, which is the kind of thing you would have in canada, which makes IT so that saying sorry isn't an admission of guilt hashtag. sorry. Remember that this is, this is canada.
This, this is canada. You're okay. Sorry is just as we bump into other people at the airport. So other people bump into us at the airport like, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry for being in your way, in the way of sorry, my face was where your elbow needed to be in canada .
can also be a question. I don't know if that's a thing in other places in the world.
Sorry yeah I don't that's a thing like yeah that's that's totally a thing.
I don't know, maybe I don't know.
I was I was a what kid but um and one of my yeah yeah one of my friends was a um a pardon excuse me I like your pardon and I started doing IT to mock him and now i'm one hundred percent like parton. I'm so sorry I don't hear you like the more the funny thing .
with that, this is like the more how do you say I back your partner, the more like appropriately he words IT the absolute like it's it's a maybe even it's log grid mic, i'm not sure, but it's more sai.
no, it's it's just habit started and IT started that. Sai, yeah, but like has IT turned down pay?
I don't even .
think about IT. I'll hear myself say i'll hear .
myself say too though .
but but i'm not even but i'm .
not even says I A lot .
of this reflects going I I didn't here and i'm sorry for that begging your partners, kay, that there are being sad. My point though .
be that .
is the most sexy thing i've ever had pressure I beg your pardon.
Get out to hear my good this and get .
out to hear in video. You're no longer a graphics company. What even an, according to a video, a vice president of corporate marketing, greg estes, speaking to reporter, uh, Stephen wit, the decision to pivot to A I happened incredibly quickly. Shortly after the rise of ChatGPT CEO, jenson wang sent email on friday evening saying, everything is going to deep learning and we are were no longer a graphics company by monday morning, we were an AI company, literally IT was that fast, which is obviously complete in video, has been moving towards GPU compute. Just everything .
changed everything we woke up and we're like, wow.
yeah the air even feels different in here.
It's remarkable that .
you got blind sided by this because the rest of us have been talking about IT for years. But hey, no, it's cool that you guys finally said the quiet part aloud. Yeah, that was how a whip referred to s to his statement around the same time, evidence reading A I researcher who I assume hired right when they made this decision. Because why would they have an A I researcher if they were a graphics company before so they be pivoted so fast? Um brian cat and ZARA said that uh hung approached him, told him, quote, to imagine he'd marched all eight thousand of the video's employees into the parking lot then he told me I was free to select anyone from the parking lot to join my team.
That's so wide over dramatic yeah that's late.
Not actually how IT works anyway.
that's like bali with kind.
And then IT turns into a giant dance .
number like song jeep comes like flying over someone he's writing on the hood like, yeah, let's go. I'm the one that could be selected.
sorry.
O, K, what does this mean for desktop graphics? Did you and I make the switch to team red just in time to not have a choice anymore?
Ah, I mean, I suspect they'll still make G, P, S.
My brother.
yeah.
keep the out. Not everybody stays in the consumer space of me, okay, obviously much, much smaller ale example. But I think consumers in general, particularly enthusiasts, tend to over estimate their own importance. I think they tend to over estimate the size and strength of the enthusiasts market. And obviously, gaming has grown a lot.
But I think two consumers, df I, for example, died fifteen years ago or ten years ago, whenever when they, whenever they stopped making mother boards like df I, except for one small detail, they never stopped making motherboards. Df I still exists today. Every once in a while, I will walk past the df I booth at a trade show and be like, oh yeah, diamond flower international.
Sorry, excuse me, design for innovation. That was, that was a red con. But back in the day, yeah, I O. I B M. I B M is a great example.
They even pull out.
they are like subbrand ah that love .
see you later.
And so why not? why? Why doesn't in video just go A I is the future. Why don't we just buy every possible way for and turn IT into A I accelerators?
They turned into this problem with more than gold.
and just be the entire AI future of the entire planet. And I let AMD and intel fight over .
like this, like tine gamers.
yeah, yeah. Like about to there, you know complaining about your Prices, they complain about your your product, they complain about everything you know. And and to be clear, i'm not saying the complaints ts aren't valid. I'm just saying that it's a lot less chAllenging from a day to day standpoint, not from an engineering standpoint, but from a day to day standpoint.
Having just a handful of customers that you can engage with meaningly, one on one who have big money compared to having a whole bunch of customers that are gonna that are gonna hate you no matter what you do, no matter how good of a deal you give them. I don't think that that last part is necessarily true, but I can see how in video might kind of perceive IT that way these days from their point to be more as law as dead. And you should accept IT and we're giving you the best we can deal with IT.
Um you know i'm sorry you're mad essentially right ah um but it's not like we didn't like them when we felt like we were you know getting a lot from them. But not really is not that we're not still getting stuff. It's just that we're not getting what we're accustomed to.
And that's really that's really chAllenging. Um that makes us feel you not not taken seriously. And I guess, yeah, I don't think I don't think in video does take the gaming market nearly as seriously as that you doing.
I think you can see that evidence in the way that NVIDIA talks about IT. Um yeah, sucks. It's not like I don't like the products, right? I mean, z bic says what's the percentage of their business that's graphics?
Microsoft has about eight percent of the revenue from maxim. So if they keep a division, that's eight percent. Why wouldn't video keep graphics? I look, it's possible death. But they'll keep graphics forever. They'll you know eventually turn into A A scrappy subdivision or whatever the case may be.
I don't think you do like comparison either.
though in fab capacity. Well, not not just fab ed. Capacity is also just they are. I don't know, almost just like the will. It's like the it's like the the the interest. You know I haven't spent a ton of time talking to jenson of only meet A M I think a couple times um but from you know interviews from watching him talk um from those handful of interactions, you know he's a super passionate guy i'm sure every story i've heard about super, super passionate um i've heard i've heard him described as the kind of boss where he can be hyper assertive and sweepin and at lake he can do your job Better than you can and what makes you most infuriated is the fact that he finding can and slake okay well, what do I do now?
Because i've been like like i've heard him described that way also heard him described another less favorable ways but the point is everything allies with this perception that he's extremely passionate and he's clearly passionate about A I know um and their leadership very much flows from the top down yeah and so you know what yeah maybe maybe gaming you know does continue to get some attention over there, but maybe IT doesn't cause remember to it's not just about what percentage of your overall business IT is. Sometimes it's about what looks Better to your shareholders. And gaming margins are pretty crappy compared to work station margins compared to enterprise margins.
Um and you know what yeah they they might like the volume you that might ultimately result in, in bigger volume discounts for their real products that they make margin on when they are booking with a no tmc or who knows someday, maybe until you fb business or something like that. But I don't I just all i'm saying as I don't think it's a guarantee. Yeah CEO are infinitely replaced.
I don't get the focus on them, says six. That's actually like super not true. Think about IT this way. I think we can all agree that a bad CEO can destroy our company PVD that was IT that's IT that whole argument obliterated. um.

Do you want to do the first look as I have to go?
P sure. But if there's one for me.
I will have a look. Nobody asked about you. Now there's a couple of good ones in here. Look, any thoughts on world of working left classic season of discovery? I hadn't played classic before, but it's been a blest finding and .
sharing new things with everyone yeah, my brother and a body of mine played last night actually um it's the only time I had this entire week IT was convenient because IT came out yesterday. He um it's pretty cool. I I am intentionally the whole ideas, the discovery word right so i've intentionally been going in pretty blind um not trying to look things up, just trying to play IT see what's going on um and IT seems neat so far I don't have a lot else to say, haven't played a ton see IT goes. So the whole idea, if you haven't heard of IT, is they have like a progressing level cap.
So it's classic with some changes through this run system that you can look up with care um and then the initial level, capital twenty five and there's like they turn some danger into a RAID or something and we can go do that and there's other new gear and things are cool, but it's like it's like a uh a different experience. But in the wild classic environment, which is a cool concept, I feel like they took a lot of lead from um the Green scape who's done very similar things, uh, just like they took a lot of lead from Green scape when they made while class at all. So they just just take IT more released from that book. Yeah.
that's good. Look, as a software developer, why do you not share the programmer's pessimism perspective to large language model? A is the last ten percent is always the hardest and longest part, for example, self driving cars.
Yeah, when did I not say that?
I have no idea this anonymous person thinks that you think like that? Oh.
do you think like that? no. Um I think I think i'm probably less pessimistic about where it's that now that might be where the confusion that um i've said a number of times on one show that I think it's like really far away from being one hundred percent like many years. Probably the the whole nation problem is going to stick around for like a hot minute.
do you think IT worse? There's sing self feeding data now.
Yeah there's there's a lot of potential for that. Uh, we'll have to see if they can find some tricks to try to stop that from happening um IT IT felt like I kind of did at one point already. It's hard to measure. It's very hard to measure. Um but yeah no yeah finishing this things can be a problem. I said like in one of the first dreams that we ever covered the eye stuff that's of course where we ended up um that like shipping products around this was going to be incredibly difficult and take a very long time um and that has proven to be the case.
okay. And let's see you got one more here for Linda. nice. I'm just in time. You're just in time.
IT would have been awwad if you'd red one for line us while I wasn't here with my kids deciding to plant my screwdriver bits. Thanks for the restock and needing to help them like the garden. I mean, that's one way to get more.
One weird trick uh and needing shipment to australia, what's the most expensive thing your kids have broken or last? Um wow, my kids actually super careful. Like I like my son got his first phone at, I think, eight.
Seven or eight still has a perfect condition. Trying to think what do what do they have that they all, they almost broke something very expensive, the the SONY OLED TV in the family room. My girls, while I was just sitting in the like, the base of the TV packaging, well, was just sitting there. They knocked the whole thing over. They lived not .
a scratch.
Wow, I I gave them IT was a miracle that IT wasn't working because with thousand, thousands of dollars. So that's that I think the closest that they've gotten to breaking something very significant. And I mean, they do damage to the house .
and stuff but a that's .
happen that's that's pretty much where in tear yeah ah yeah i'd say that's the worst day everyday. I I thought .
you're gna take the approach of like you've can locally called some of your employees kids .
before they've broken up. I don't imagine for a second that i'm the only one who's ever broken anything around here. I'm just the only one who is on camera when that .
happens catches the blame. yeah. I had a percent photo was going to your floor. Anyways, I think that was the third we move on.
And the more topics, yes.
okay.
what what what is this .
legally distinct tech v tubers?
I don't know what that is from soa.
I really wanna click on that stuff.
Hey, linus, click this.
I'm going to do that. my.
Um is that .
you and me? Yep, let's go.
I got lena .
about are you .
boat media? That's great. Do you .
see level?
That's a really good .
name actually but actually sick.
Oh okay but like a stage, that's though that's a great, great name. Wow, ah cool. I that's not what I was expecting to look at today.
You're actively dropping a GPU.
I think i'm throwing IT.
Yeah, yeah.
I know i'm done with that. Yeah um.
I think it's great I would be to be with that personal, would one hundred percent to that. What is this?
Is this a video also? then? wait. what? No way, no way, no way.
Wait for IT legally distinct text show producer, what's up? H, no, I love A. Little like .
like animal sweat beat thing oh no that totally that .
one of those like .
the newest .
things too very similar that that is very cool and flatter as super too. Um great great job you've done this as earrings .
the alot .
that doesn't surprise me. They are. They are shockingly on point.
They're actually really good. I genuinely really like my let's cool. Don't say, would good idea .
leave me alone down?
That's not me as literally mean, you can say that. Come on.
authorities.
I feel, I feel a protective of my little avatar. Now, Lucy, don't make. Don't after Lucy, leave luc alone.
Oh, no, no. Play .
alone.
Oh my. Okay, kay. All right. Let's let's move on microsoft paint plus now with dolly. Oh, no way we get to try IT. yeah. The windows eleven paint APP now has an integrated cocreate or text to image generator feature.
So slapped, is this all users? Or is this just like, are the access people and prety .
really okay, okay, okay. Hey, look, wanna play a game? sure. Called M. S. Paint is the best game.
okay? If people from people from our era, that's actually a thing when you didn't have the internet.
No, I wanted, come on, please. What are you taking? IT.
Come the dog in the jack. Can I just have here? OK can is playing .
audio, then told me.
lug the H. D. M. I.
yeah. But there's other steps included in that process. Figured out, lina.
Trying to make things smooth can make a smooth. Sorry, luca, whatever your name is. Lucy, get IT right.
Sorry, sorry, sorry. I mean, now we've got one letter wrong. It's seventy five percent right. 呃。
You should totally license the design for some t shirts, would be a pretty specific reference. But I bet people .
by job. I know, I would say. no.
Stop is the computer .
in building.
I mean, dan prepared IT thought that was a fifty fifty .
shot in the outset. Everything's fifty in this case of either worker IT didn't.
Oh, you know but I think it's probably are putting to the external display .
because it's no body pill stop .
and we have a body pill .
coming is. So like A G P U all .
says that is coming. No, I hate IT here。
IT just uses the confidence design from the the women's underwear and the one yeah decided we decided not to go enemy girl with IT. We thought we'd keep IT. You know, put the seal in IT, you know you with the C, L. Class, not without the C L, you know.
Classy within I.
What's going on here? then?
Then maybe take the lives .
off away from him and get IT turned on, and then bring a back.
My magic in view. I, to check IT breaks, said this would happen. did? Did you say this would happen? Did I?
Oh yeah, no, I totally did. Yeah, let's go. I remember that .
I didn't do anything. I can explain this. IT doesn't even have linux on IT that I know.
No, this, this is my whole point. I talking about how we were going to work on something, but I was like we have to be really, really threw about IT. We should test IT really early. And then before we release IT, we need to hand IT to lineup because everything when he touches that. So that'll be like a final line .
of of testing. Sometimes things magically work when .
I touched them.
though yeah, you've witness the power. Is that I change future? Yeah .
OK.
That's really phoning.
That's fine. I'll do that later. Yeah yeah whatever .
working you can um we can talk about our social media team is hiring sure hiring both a short form video coordinator and an organic content and means coordinators that really a job pdl here .
i'll call IT out right now as well. It's gonna be posted up very soon. I want to post up this week, but there there, there for reasons it's not.
But it'll be up sometime next week. But we're posting a position that probably a surprising amount of you're going to be interested in. And i'm kind of terrified about the incoming applications.
But IT is local only. That should help a lot. IT must be local only. And you must literally right now be legally able to work in canada. So like you pretty much have to be here already to be clear, but we are hiring a like junior level one IT tex support position. We need some help on that team.
So full time get some .
applicants yeah yes yeah full time um but you don't need ton of experience. We are looking for someone that would obviously be able to like um construct and deconstruct computers, do some um basic trouble shooting um have some basic understanding of of networks and networking stuff like that. Lots of opportunity to learn on the job working under like A J and Shawn and myself and with them um and yeah IT should be really cool. Maybe interesting .
opportunity .
but IT is yeah is a very junior position. um.
Yeah, sounds meant.
Junior, all right, I was like, as he being a humor, he's being a yeah you not sure which what means?
Not thing.
Junior, mints.
No, I just mean, like me. That's mean, that's that's not. That's ancient.
I no idea what you mean.
nice. Zom, mr. Talk, no, a life is the same. Le.
is he trying to act like, how old is he? Is he not zoom mor anymore? Is he not Young? Our summer old there, I don't know.
Less old than us of them is down. Alpha h, wow, I know. IT, ow, I mean, who gets the name?
What's the next .
one going to be? Sigma, well.
yeah.
jane. CD, wow, have you get them? He was charged, and then we did so, and he says the battery was charged, which.
oh yeah. So dad, is something really cool to with the the like back, good display thing that would like.
you see the time 有 饮料。
honestly, he was probably bored .
waiting for you.
yeah.
Oh god, i'm waiting for, look, love IT. You guys couldn't .
hear his come back. I was stuck .
in a meeting. Luke got roses. I did like over an open five. Yeah, he was a chess nut.
If I was.
it's Chris was what you want.
I.
december.
Now that was gentle, so I probably ly won't even have affected me at all.
It's fair game. yeah.
Oh yeah, I never checked if our lives have responded to what man the next? Amb ultimate tech up grades great.
He said i'm seventeen so he's like.
clearly it's not true.
I believe you.
They allege us save to the workspace.
So we've got work safe signs .
on the stairs about maintaining three points of contact .
cover the .
days of all. We also provided a legion of the help. We thought IT was easier to put the padding on him then to try to put the padding on everything he might touch very enough. yeah.
Like taking up, like .
pillows, you guys.
oh, yeah, you got to look at the back of the laptop. Oh.
sorry. Oh, that's that was good use of time. H, I thought I said short. Lindis, okay, okay.
Well, diet or not, I thought maybe debrine put him up to IT because they sponsored, they sponsored the after dark today. Uh, the the OK, the one. Sure, there's a disc, linus tech. Okay, out that wow. Does IT take a long time or is IT just .
like you just like to text.
like.
Because it's pretty straight forward.
I'm just asking if IT takes a long time to programme IT. okay. Oh, I don't know.
Oh, you had done and after to affect IT took about twenty five hours, shot up stop just part of the R O G. two. And things like i've ever played is already .
set up for the three different lines.
You can have up to eight. Okay, really.
So put the lines on angle is like a default thing. Yeah.
I have to do IT exactly like this and kind of is frustrating.
But .
whatever, oh, okay, that seems to be working. Let's get rid of your person there, here OK. So here we go. Uh, I have no idea how this works, so i'm going to only have fifty tokens right now. You can see down the bottom, so don't go like too crazy. Okay, so i'm going to make look super mad um because i'm probably going to you know do something that you know IT doesn't do or whatever and they didn't intend then help him mad.
No, I don't care. Just do IT .
dying with a track pad OK. So go easier on me here. Ah okay, i'm going to be going to use the cocreate or do I make a man? I'm gonna the cocreate or okay oh OK.
So you're you're going to draw in and you're going to private or something.
Yeah okay like that's cool.
I think like a good use.
I want you should .
ask you to add something to IT while matching your art style.
interesting. Okay, that's not something I thought of, but I I do I do like I just I seriously .
don't think it'll be able to do IT.
but I what just happened, I not just say solid fill. What was the point of me saying that? I am not sure if I understand.
I must have done something wrong here. But there, boom, got. And then let you know what? Let's do something.
Let's do some little flowers. Flowers, nice 哦。 Thanks for attempted.
Put some happy little trees over there. Happy flowers.
Here you go. A little happy flowers boop boop.
Such such legally distinct peddles leaves.
do you? Okay, I would like to add. D.
is that a black line with, like a red outline is not interested. Fancy.
can you add a person? I know, why do I like myself play, had a person to my scene in the same art style can be.
boy.
that's fine. Great, great.
I just feeling it's onna struggle with the art.
There's no there's no way. Yeah just .
want to see IT like .
try it's thinking .
for a minute. Wow, interesting. I did try. Okay, let's try anything else.
Oh so IT .
doesn't actually do IT if like drag and drop the selections over. Is that what's going on?
No, that these are styles you can select.
No, no, no.
that the things are IT, please. Yeah.
I know because you said, can you add IT to IT can actually do IT for you? Oh no. Okay, that is very surrealist.
Mean, not something. Yeah.
this is a thing.
Take a minute.
huh? What is that? What I mean that what is that chair?
Kind of like what I dream is, does that go? Does that go between your legs are very smooth.
It's got got quite the headrest on there.
I what about this .
chair though? Oh, my.
That's the unique design. I think that this would be an amazing store, A I creation start com. You just find things like this, you you make them oh yes.
So like you make this like impossible chair because you just you wrote that uh the the like black line that's on there like through the top, but you make IT work that would be possible that just become a sketchy like IT back like this just a Spike.
Has this been done like I as an art installation, just like you know as a commentary on a eye or whatever, just like someone creates.
people are already grab in the domain.
Yeah, i'm sure i'm sure it's over. I'm sure they are. What are these other ones that came up with IT? IT is second. Did anyone did anyone own IT already? I'm sure there are people who just like already have IT ready to go here.
the fast as way to check this.
No man, that's taken, that's taken. Yeah.
an equation does c is for .
one cent nice. I can just want to look at some of the stuff with, look, what is this thing that looks like a disorganize actually is this IT looks like, yeah looks like somewhere between you and retire.
There's a measuring tape that's like partially out just on the table.
Is this a balloon? A hard hat? Impossible to say. Bad is some other. It's a lot of art. It's really interesting seeing the AI art within the AI art yeah I was like, yeah I know lap I I guess the lamp um but like .
worse is within worlds.
what would .
an dimensional .
art but an AI draw that's prety cool. I mean, it's not what I asked for, but it's pretty .
cool kind .
of these I just think IT just did a photo realistic SCI. I really tried .
to I think IT didn't look at what you did at all, like not even slightly. okay.
Well, we don't we ask IT for so basically then, is this any different?
Why does IT look at what you've done at all? Or is IT just the prompt?
I think I might just be a prompt is little information. I can just do the right of described what you want to see. I wonder if that helps.
thanks. then. No, I mean, I also powered by darling, a system that creates real tic images of ba ba ba. If you find a question to be unexpected or offensive and this feed back.
yeah, so no, this is just.
think first had been offensive. This is just di, yeah.
I think yeah, just to choose a style. What's to choose a style?
哦哦哦 in the style of .
enemy。 I'm excited right now. I hope i'm doing a cool start .
when I do IT IT probably won't like to running person. It's just there's .
like there's no factual like nose. The figures just there.
Choosing or his nose because is gonna go. thank. There are six of them, which is fine.
Also, this is an interesting shape. Yeah, right. Let's see the rest of them.
That once like bet i'm not picking, but it's Better. Yeah, yeah. I think it's Better. Is that the correct finger?
No, no. I mean, well, not sure what .
that is.
I think this one might be my favorite. He tried to pick his nose, but he missed because his eyes were closed. Okay, so wait, that is this actually? Wait, is this actually? They're all kind of blonde, blue eyes.
yeah. Did you actually know who I was talking about? I don't know. I can't tell the ally.
You can search the internet now. So like .
maybe okay, do you? Luca hernia from linus tech tips, hold on, hold on. As an animal girl with tears, let's see how close we can get to that art work from earlier in the show. All right, here we go. Yeah, I am very scared.
Lucy. I don't remember the last name.
It's stressful. I expect greatness .
apparently against to delhi, terms of service to the real people. Oh, well, that didn't stop OK.
That works.
Really not enemy. Yeah, I mean, he's wearing a blue hoody like, I think I think this is actually inspired by you though. Yeah, and that's not as close. Yeah.
the first .
one was, wow.
there's some stuff going on.
There's some stuff going on here .
for the cat are things are just like behind him as well.
H, no, no, that's the other picture. No, no, no, no, no. Oh, you mean this they look more like horns sure okay um I me see it's funny because like that we can't quite do that.
We can have too much resembLance but like there's a black and orchy yeah you I mean yeah here's a kind of weird neck beard. So it's obviously using a very old image of view. If if I did use an image of view as a reference.
I mean, that's probably what is most common. You know, i'm really bit in that many videos I ever go. Let's see. Oh, man, there is interesting reference for this because of the the cat, your .
headphones and also the fact that h okay ah that was very similar .
to one of the ones that uh looked like me.
That is that。 Wow, okay.
should I just not even have the hand up? Those neck muscles are push for that face.
And then you know what? Well, that's I think the closest were probably gonna get you think .
about right hand.
I mean, that's a left hand, but that yes yeah you to get up. All right, so why don't we try? Why don't we try? One more, one more thing.
you've got any other ideas.
So what what would this be helpful with my fanie of controversies? IT never. O K, O K, how know? Ah, I want to color a picture of a duck, 而 this is a .
good idea。 Black .
right picture of a duck with White .
spaces.
You should ask by numbers. Well, here.
let's to see .
if if I can give me something to color OK. This is something I could see like a child using IT for I also wanted do, uh, I I also wanted to like, ah, oh yeah, here we go. Yeah, okay, sure.
That looks like perfect. That went a little bit less so that went perfect.
We had stuff gone with the foot there. But like, yeah, that's fine. So if I was .
just why does mean like that's .
perfect .
for coLoring? I was just fact that he has one one giant foot.
That's interesting. All it's not perfect for coLoring. I can't use the paint bucket. Oh, that's unfortunate. I mean, no, I D, it's got some .
styles kind need though. Actually that's cute.
That's very.
very small zones are real small way.
There's a duck. okay? I.
I .
am. A picture of attack you tube background set with R, G, B lights there. You know, so, so if you were looking for some inspiration, why did I leave IT on anemia? I even know what I, I even really know what i'm trying to do with the styles here.
Maybe that's why the eyes of .
the dark looked that that would explain IT. Tech, you tube r backgrounds. So that would .
be expensive, I think.
You know, I tech you tube each student Green screen. Wow, look the veins on this hand. Wow, what is the fingers I have? The fingers are really weird. You think, like, you know, this kind of hard code, that fingers can't look like that at some .
point rules and fighting and they just trying to move forward.
I mean, these are not that bad. There's definitely some inspiration here. If nothing else, i'll kind of see me, which is sort of obama blue and red.
and .
interesting that the .
background matches the winter.
nice. right? Last one. Last one for me. Then, if you want to do, if you want to do one more, we we still can.
Takes a little while. I I get IT. Okay, that kind of a school vive. Pretty cool. actually.
What is on the wall was IT twenty is a camera there in the no no OK.
I think these are supposed be like all mounted computers yeah ah and then you know, obviously a speaker, a joystick. Like what is this thing?
I don't know .
you look at this keyboard .
that is scut. These keys are like .
the front of IT. Yeah, wow. All right. cool. What else we got here, man?
I kind of like the speakers ebell ded in walls thing that it's got going on. Yeah, yeah. You know, some of these really do immediately. Give me product ideas. Yes, like just a little RGB dot that you just like put somewhere and it's just cute and I just glows like .
that kind of a long time.
Yeah you can plug IT in or use a battery or whatever. Um I don't know I don't know exactly what's going up here, but the boy, is that ever something? And I mean, I think at this stage, this is realistically more along the lines of what you're going to be able to use an AI image generator for. Uh oh my.
they're doing uh close what's uh they're doing close up macro inspection of one of their systems while they listen to embedded wall speakers just yeah .
this embedded world speaker thing.
they are pretty sick that's call yeah I kind .
of you know and ironically, I like the design of this, mike, it's kind of cool. Yeah I don't know exactly how that works.
but that stand would like never hold .
that look at this mouse got the track ball or I think i'm not sure keyboards are all single.
I never realized how heart of a time I would have keyboards yeah.
kind of make sense.
You want to ask you to just do a keyboard. We can probably do this all night.
We can move on. Yeah, yeah. OK, you know what? Yes, I do. I I do want to do that. Go creator, um what kind of keyboard would you like?
I feel I want to give you something that i'll actually be to do.
Um I just say .
a mechanical ten keyless mechanical desktop keyboard. Be careful, he word, not just stop, just careful word.
How how how to spell ten killers?
It's just ten.
I'm just going to put t .
kill key less. yeah.
But is IT one word? yeah? Are you sure that doesn't seem right?
I think so.
I I could be wrong. Okay, a desk top keyboard for gamers.
You.
okay, all right, here you go. What does the keyboard for gamers look like according to dolly?
And yes, it's one word call .
for the .
realistic yet. Okay.
it's working on IT. no. Wow, these characters though, I mean, I guess that makes sense. That would just make their own language. Why would their language need to .
be understandable by humans.
more different .
proper characters?
I A lot didn't .
there's some weird extra keys at the bottom left there .
prove they weren't intentional? Um wow, this out of that looks like my kids to IT but like .
debt for those keys is pretty.
And wow, these are kind of cool kick ups.
There's just a random size keys .
so long that they don't move down. No legend though, you know, hard core mode, yeah, Daniel into IT, right? Sorry, no legend. Oh, hello. Yeah yeah.
Bunch people saying, I don't know, that is the last model. I I highly suspect this is a previous version of delhi. There was a number of things there that I did very poorly that I have absolutely seen.
The newer version do a lot Better. Um looks like dali too yeah kind of feels like IT. The hands on modern delhi are way Better, and modern delhi can do text properly without making a plake alien language. Got IT um so yeah, but I mean, it's free and paint so yeah.
I was free until you run out of tokens, I guess. But yeah, free for a bit .
old is of the tokens daily or all time.
I'm not sure. But what I do know know is that we ve got a few merge things to talk about that I can put off a bit because we're spent so much of the show talking about much, much. The retro driver is now available technically was available a week ago, but we actually never formally relook at available.
So it's a fun retrogressing or freeze a theme color. Also, our phillips and talk bit sets are back in to all that explains why we sold so many bit sets that day. We're also launching an upgraded magnetic .
chest strap for .
the backpack.
Yeah OK, these are before .
not down there. Look.
I didn't realize that was on my screen. So slides like that nice and easy oh yeah, kind of grabs itself so you don't have to like i'm gonna look ah here we go. You don't have .
to slide at all when you put IT .
together oh yeah yeah yeah really just grabs but trying to repeat .
apart yeah .
that's not going to work. I've seen this before.
Super cool. These are from fedor g they are .
very easy. Yes, way, yes, it's supposed to be, but I decided is not going to have.
They are not cheap. They are ninety. I just goes in as a drop in replacement for the stocks chest trap, which just has a more traditional, I don't even know what to call IT like the kind of anchor looking thing that goes into the other thing.
I yeah sure yeah more traditional buckle. And it's really cool. We just saw these things really like all these are amazing.
I have some people that are hard to like, make a built with IT that is actually where we went first. IT didn't make sense. It's too bulky.
And like getting IT through the loops is kind of a pain in the back end. We hadn't worked on our own pants yet. We could have made our pants fit lock belt compatible. But then, like OK water, we creating like a world garden ecosystem of clothing that only works with each other. The I just didn't really make any sense.
Do you wanted buy this built R O L T T pants? no.
Then forget IT again by IT doesn't powerful. We would like some community feedback. A substantial number of the hoodies that we ordered for L T X ended up with logos that were cricket and didn't meet our standards.
Um we are hoping to be purpose these hoodies by covering the L T X logo that's on them and cricket with something else. One of the ideas was an updated version of our iconic when couch. There's not really a coaching IT anymore, but that's okay. That's a minor detail. That's what IT looks like.
I really think it's very cool.
It's pretty cool. We both have beards now and we haven't ugly, stretched out. IT looks exactly well. But hey, is that true of real life? Yes, yes, I don't make the rules. I here's a mock up of what IT would look like on a rightly I be like slightly different and less cheap ly photoshop to the that but yeah but basically that so let let us know, guys, if you'd be interested in something like that. I I think we only have a .
few hundred of them.
Think bread, really.
if you put a brand there, there would totally work.
I mean, they're just patches like we can get different patches. I guess if you just have multiple different people, don't tell people that you can do that. Tell me, tell people that get different .
pati an is too late. Convoy says v two per girls. Yeah, we should throw leader Lucy at IT.
Here you go. Why do you even do this? Why stop eating money? Why do you even talking you? Actually, you guys .
are nice.
To chat, just brand.
make the spot, will grow and sell the patches on the store.
I hate that. That's the smart .
st thing I ever.
That's a pretty interesting idea.
The idea you came to one of .
the willing to clothing D. L. C. Yeah, let's go here. The deal is one.
Oh my god, the patch could be the same, but could go in multiple products so you could put the patch on your backpack.
All right, I send that email. Come on. Thank you. Thank you.
I like that a lot.
Yeah, hi, okay, but did do much message or something I can send. Yeah, I know it's pretty cool. It's pretty cool.
That's all right. okay. I'll give IT here and we'll do the bread just to thank you for the cool idea.
God.
thank you for playing chat.
Patch is bone spend? Yeah maybe I don't know how much of patch costs of no idea.
Um okay um which is yeah you .
can even make the vehicle in a logo or pattern so that IT looks good .
without you could do the L T T logo in voco probably with the stitching and stuff like that might actually not be that easy.
That was really, yes, you do so on the very co.
To be just a patch. Could you do .
different colors of the will grow? So could you be like a square? But we have orange L T, T in the middle.
Have you ever heard the term scope creep? Can the voca have a dark mode?
Here, well, I to send that you, I got one for you. Look for you. Come over here and strangle me.
Hello, leds love the content and got into I, T, because of L, T, T. Nice if you guys had to completely rebuild your technical infrastructure from scratch. What would you do differently? This question changes .
a lot if you say, like with the information we had at the time or not because honestly, I stand by the technical decisions that we made um but if I could have been completely clear, voyant would have moved to type script and react a little bit sooner and would not have would absolutely not have hitched my horse to sales. That's the biggest one, but sales looked really promising at the time. And like a lot of these language or framework or platform, whatever decisions that you end up making, you just got gotten go off what you have.
And when a lot of these things are maintained by um companies, uh in the in the case of some of them were like it's maybe it's facebook maintaining the language, maybe facebook just decides, but we don't want to say anymore who cares and then they'll just dump IT and then it's not going to be supportive for you anymore or uh, it's a completely open source thing in the maintainer might just disappear. Yeah you could pick up the torch, but now you're doing a wild amount more of work than you originally intended to because your goal was to make this thing on top of IT, not IT. And are you doing both? You might not have enough time for that.
You might not have enough budget for that to all to bring a more developer and stuff. So IT is what IT is. You're going to make some mistakes sometimes tell goes.
I guess some good for you deal ships can't shift easy. Around four thousand american auto dealerships have signed an open letter asking the federal government to moderate its evy adoption targets because they are struggling to upload and excess supply electric vehicles despite evy sales hitting record highs.
They currently have over a ninety day supply of evs, only eight thirty days supply of internal commission engine vehicles and a mere or two weeks supply of hybrid electric vehicles. Tesla leading solar bvs is not including these numbers due to its direct consumer model. There's a bunch of other stuff in here, but my point is I was right. Chevy vote.
do, do you have a hybrid? Ctrip, I want a hybrid d electric accurate teal. I would be so happy .
back when I bought the vote. The only reason I bought IT was that the traditional car companies hunted. Do omi hunt clarity, allegedly this is just based on here, say, from a random hunted dealer. So I don't know if it's accurate. Not but apparently IT was like less than twenty .
clarity that I was .
four entire model year year. And I think IT was a lot less than that. But I am going higher and what I recalled to make sure that the a greater chance that is right.
Yeah IT was like, not i've seen like two on the road ever um IT was IT IT was the car I wanted to buy because IT has the advantages of EV. I get to drive in the H V lane. I get to um not burn gas on my daily commute.
And IT has the advantages of a gasoline car in that I can go long distances and quickly review without any worry about finding public charging infrastructure. IT was so obvious, but only because I happened to be A T nd. And did a whole bunch of research into IT. And I am pragmatic .
to a fault. People like good hybrids like the volt. H sorry, most that I know, don't know about good hybrid's like the volt.
yeah. And the problem is that the dealers apparently just had no idea was going on and people didn't understand IT. I remember talking to this other guy at a dealer who was like, yeah, this guy traded in his vote and I was like talking him about IT and was like, yeah, sorry, but I I just put gas in at the whole time.
He drove up for years and i'm just i'm sitting here going, are you kidding me just, you know, IT doesn't even have to be in your garbage. You could just for an extensive cord IT comes with the charger that just plugs into the wall. There's literally no reason in bc, canada, there is no reason not to use the cheap, cheap electric power that we have.
Yeah.
it's like the thing we and it's toyota .
figured .
IT out like the prius prime sucked the first couple generations, the ocean says sucked. But the range was not enough, not enough for my daily commute, not enough for a lot of peoples. And so you'd have to put gas in IT on a very, very regular basis.
I believe the latest model has wait Better all electric range and the rap for prime is killing IT. I have no idea how long the weight less is for that thing now, but IT was just everyone was going, oh, the problem with gas is, you know, this, it's just gas emissions now and forever. And gas is super expensive and blood a and the problem with all electric is the range and these batteries that are so costly and environmentally devastating to extract from the earth. If only there was some solution, but there isn't. And IT was tearing them in the face the whole time.
Not a single out a person, yes, but a person, one, two, three on flow plane, said a, the big problem with plain high, sorry, my third solar bit messed up. But the big problem with plug in hybrids, as they have the cost and weight of both dry trains, not really.
not quite because you also don't have the weight of all those batteries and you also don't need the same kind of put pop in your eyes, drive train, right? And you're not because that's the thing with the volt for all of its being generally a very boring dad car, actually not that bad right off the line because he uses the battery IT, uses the electric motors and the vote.
So weird one because it's technically an EV with an on board gasoline generator. yeah. But like at the end of the day, I sort of don't really care how you do IT as a consumer. All I care about is, well, i've got enough power that I can pass someone if I need to.
And they can be very efficient, very efficient. You're talking about the weight.
They can be crazy efficient even if you are peak dumb and never plug in your world. IT is a crazy efficient gasoline car. Yeah, it's just way too expensive because you paid for range of batteries that you're not using because you're big, dumb.
dumb that was dumb. But like plugging hybrid is crazy efficient. The playing in hy revolts, crazy efficient. I'm not worried about the extra way.
Yeah, then I remember talking about this back when we were going into the pandemic, G. M. Cancelled the wall at the worst possible time. The they would have sold so many volts because the big problem with IT was that I was expensive with a with a value proposition that was difficult for people to understand.
And then all of a sudden, cars, we're just generally more expensive that they could have made margin on IT and gasoline went through the roof. Yeah, it's like, oh, but they show thousands and thousands and thousands of them. Yeah, gm hates money, says William common.
Yeah, I know. right. It's like they try to make the worst possible decisions.
I just don't know. I don't deal with IT. I got to be. I've not like a fan or anything, don't care.
But just that car just made so much sense IT just made so much sense and it's it's validating, I guess, to see everyone going well, this makes sense. Yeah that's why they only have two weeks of stock of hy electric vehicles because they're so awesome. There are a great middle ground.
Yeah, people are are not into G. M. And their decisions in general.
I am into plug in hybrid, though I I would like to eventually have one, as the only thing I feel like i'm lacking with my car literally .
love my vote so much that after I replaced IT, I bought IT from myself. Seriously, the car are the company owns IT now, and we just use IT to run little eras. It's fect for that because again.
the plugging in hybrid, it's going to be borderline free to drive back and forth between the office buildings, can be borderline free to run in to town to grab something and come back. And then if IT needs to run really far.
no problem. You would have to go pick up a crt in the interior. Bc, you don't want to ship IT for whatever.
Send IT, no problem. Super efficient. Yep, comfortable, easy go line.
Is that car made no sense on transformers, what at the movie, what the vote was in transformers. And so, okay, that really why evil transformers? That is not how I made of promoted .
IT in sugar. Oh, I can afford jot.
This wasn't kay. This was a huge, this was a huge problem for chevy. They had the bolt, okay, which was like an entry level E.
V. They had the vault, which was a completely different car and plugged in hybrid vehicle. And now i'm only just learning about this. They had jolt, a character from transformers that is a vault. Are you kidding me?
That's really stupid. That also looks really stupid, like the transformer looks.
I'm sad up very much.
They like nintendo. We use this car. It's like what .
like but down yeah I thought that like .
delusion blue thing after him was like a beard.
They're flying. They're ying electric vehicle but mold ah I like exactly it's .
it's really close to motors. I started playing, talking. My go .
recently makes me so sad. I want to go get my cold. Sorry, you're not playing final fantasy six. I'm ahead in the chAllenge is that yeah.
I am still like mildly sick so i'm been able to .
go to the gym. Vio.
i'm getting really so I wanted something to do and that that old gown move the ever right now. But the the game that was playing to go for walks or while there, yeah, I like leveled out. I got to the point where it's Better to to sit at home and i'm like that stupid.
I was not playing that game, so started playing poke mong go again. And there's all these actually cool things. What I wanted the other game to do, poke mong go, has been doing this whole time.
I just kind of forgot to exist that has like a feature now called the routes where theyll be like a trail, and it'll show you how to get to the trail. And if you walk the whole trail, IT gives you a bonus at the end at school. It's great.
IT is cool. Our for playing chat.
G M. dots. IT was called, that S. Was called honor. Yeah so orna was cool until you level too far then it's arked, but hopefully they fixed IT.
I don't. I'm forever .
has final fantasy going more? My developers .
were .
here.
thought in the, in the, in the snow. No.
i'm still, i'm still pending. All right.
okay, all right. Hopefully you remember how to play. Yeah I mean, I think you'll alright yeah um please learn about name dropping apples feature name drop.
Apparently both users must degree for any information to for any information transfer to take place between in the phones um but the phone if IT is within an intro of another and both phones are unlocked. Something something potential threat to children. They mean like I don't really I don't really understand exactly what the problem is with this.
Seems fine. Okay, cool. E A patents self insert character voices. Why do you want to do that? So this is, this is the ethical version of AI voices. In your games, you record your own voice and then trains a model interesting.
Based on the filing, the system would likely, as a sample of the players speech in order to recreate IT during dialogue and perhaps allow them to speak directly to the gaming characters depending on the nature of the game. E, A appears to be attempting to pattern the technical aspects of the system rather than a concept in enough itself. And that's to keep actually .
that's an interesting idea. They also talk directly is a very interesting idea that feels like a future step of gaming on a percent. I don't think we're very yet to the point where would actually be good, but I feel like that'll be a thing for sure.
Have we talked about chaos? Someone in the ping .
chat said police blew IT up, and then people pointed out out that they were missing half effects. That's a ex um so yeah you use you lightly mentioned IT I think two .
shows ago. Okay okay. So in response to our original colloquium to are to confirm the rumors that clios was going to finally offer a full refund to its original crowd funding barkers for that passive case, a community member sent to us a september nineteen nineteenth post from kale OS two backs ers in the post, clio acknowledges that the product that resulted from the campaign um that though IT exceeded its promises did so late and at a significantly higher Price point they exceeded that the product they eventually built.
Um it's really good, you guys, but it's late and at a much higher Price point even if that Price point would have been a more realistic target for a low volume premium products at something, something, something anyway, the point is it's late and it's way more expensive, but IT is Better. That's what they're saying. Sorry about that. And any backup ers who backed the original, worse, cheaper version can get a full refund or the option of voucher that can be used to buy one of five hundred of the new one in a limited copper edition at a twelve hundred year old Price.
If the .
backyard does not want to buy the limited edition one, IT will instead be made available for general purchase and the proceeds will be used to refund barkers. So this is a quote. We will ensure that every backup er who requested a refund gets IT.
And while the mechanism is formally tied to units being sold for regulatory and accounting requirements, the refund will be honored regardless of your allocated unit being sold. A survey will be sent to backers to confirm their choice. Those who do not respond will be considered as a refund request quote.
Some might argue that this should have been the option from day one, but there have been many factors at play. And without many business compromises, especially from street calm, this was simply not a viable option for us until now. Um so the discussion question here is with L T T.
Now consider covering calos. Is this later Better than never? Yes, I think so.
I want to hear from a barker who ve requested a refund, who got money yeah. And then you know what? I won't even ask for a review sample.
I'll buy one, then I will buy one and review IT. That's my deal. I'm not i'm not asking for any any handouts for anything. I just really love this kind of technology. I wanted cover IT.
And if they're gonna, you know move forward in good faith to make their bookers hold, then you know I think that the coverage that I said that I would I would give IT when I demanded that they make that option available. Um well, I think that if they if they are willing to move forward in good faith, then I should make sure that i'm not putting any additional burden on them. And I think we should we should cover IT.
So i'll buy i'll buy one of those copper limited edition ones or whatever, as long as I actually hear from someone with proof that they got a refund, if assuming they want one. So guys, you you have to maybe getting touch with us the same way as last time. How we do that I don't remember, but line is tecture PS dotcom art tecs come as teco PS at g mail dot com, I think is our public in box still?
The previous persons that got in touch with .
this was through the form, oh, how they who they contact.
I do you know, I don't actually member.
go, the public facing in box, the one that's on the main L T. T. channel.
Have you heard about this? Do you know about this?
This next one I was, I went to the discovery one, discovery one yeah I actually don't think the other ones that interesting. I mean.
it's like cool, but it's not very practical.
Okay, fine.
let's talk about IT and talk and it's not realistic.
Input lag bubble blood anyway um running both frame rate generation and fluid motion frames at the same time a south korean tech outlet uh cozy zone ah claims that they have managed to run in videos s frame generation and empty fluid motion frame technology science lta eusden although uh they showed the benched mark results but no footage and probably for good reason uh was this resulted in in the average boost of up to three times the frame rate as gaming a native resolution in 4k and ultra quiz are zone plugged in an R T X forty sixty and an R X sixty six hundred into the same PC installed both their drivers then hooked up the primary display to the sixty six hundred while the forty ninety was set to the primary GPU in windows so that the forty ninety post frame gen output passed through the sixty six hundred while the average was good, the one percent lows either barely increased or even decreased for most games. IT also increased artifact and input leg. And I suspect by a rather significant demount .
discussion question. This is a terrible idea. Should we do IT? I don't know.
It's gotto be rough.
This reminds me of the time that we ran si and cross fight in the same computer at the same time. That was so frustrating. Oh O T IT made me angry for not in significant period of time, like IT was really awful.
cool. Yes, I did. IT looks super cool. Book to very cool. And honestly, people didn't even think I was that interesting of a video like I there was a lot of feedback on that video and around that time that we've like jumped the shark and last time and it's like and they have that's what how we did IT.
So that because we thought that was a good idea, we just thought was it's tough, right? Because it's always it's always fine baLance, right? Like if we if we do nothing but practical content about how you can build affordable computer people too, note as they are board and if we do you know out there like spectacle content, people will tell us we've lost touch.
That's like OK. So some some of that some of something between just keep. Just see that discovery content has been removed from PS users libraries that the right place station SONY posted illegal notice stating that the content made by the discovery channel that users purchased through them would no longer be available to view after the end of this year, this content will not just be removed from the service IT will be removed from paying libraries.
This is apparently wow, a licensing issue related to discoveries. Recent merger with Warner brothers. And our discussion question here is, do we own anything we buy online? And the answer is no, no.
Have offline copies or you have nothing .
and have this message from d brand or you have no one show after dark. That's right. We've got a sponsor for one show after dark, which then is working.
H well, oh, oh, that's cute. A IT has a whole day brand skin on the on the lower banner. yeah. H, H, look at that. Of course, it's the new x ray that you eat them.
okay.
That was worth the work that we put into IT. I'm sure they launched ed these as part of the substance entirely the actually purchases. I do not jack from every everything. And do you guys are going to make money on these? I mean, I guess you gave some of that to me.
obviously by X A, or we stop paying for this spot. It's very your honest .
you you got to give created .
for the honesty met yeah that's legit.
So I guess I am obligated by my responsibility to our shareholders to tell you that you need to buy x ray yeah or else we .
will not make .
money the oah anyway 啊。 So x ray is the liner skins that they launched to show case to fy what innovation actually looks like. What was the originality? What originality actually looks like? That's the word case to fy used, right? I guess it's merge message. And then I I guess so I saying, I guess we actually talk about merge .
the little plain chat. The skins are not edible.
Calm down.
You guys told we should we check with .
the brand if they wanted to do? I don't know how many we would sell IT, maybe even just a few hundred. Maybe we could just do like I don't know the latest iphone in the latest like s whatever. From samsung, but just like a flop ane logo scanner, something like that, you know, maybe not even the skin.
maybe just I love how you would do the flow playing logo .
skin in a phone that I don't have sure picks up. Okay, no, no, okay, so, okay, okay. Look, look, i'm trying to make everyone happy here.
okay. You know what? Forget, IT is probably going to be too much work for those guys anyway to support IT because we probably wouldn't.
So more than like a couple hundred, I assumingly. They need pretty crazy quantities for their types of runs.
surprising how much development IT takes to make a sticker. And the funny thing is like we know I was reading the blog post about um the series x White edition um where microsoft kind wrote up this thing about how changing the color s super non trivial because there and this is all stuff that we know from. Remember how he took so long for us .
to launch new coli? Would probably .
some dozens anyway okay, back to the, back to the yeah back to the x box thing. Um we learned this when we were changing the color of the spirit driver. It's not simple. They went and they shot IT in the different color plastic. They can realize they had all these words.
They had these Marks that we're not visible in black where the where the plastic was flowing and IT was like the most nightmarish tiny upgrade ever yeah and I think that something that people often don't appreciate, whether it's a sticker or whether it's a different color of plastic or whether it's whether it's a sound, making a product is easy. Making a product is scale is hard. Making a good product that scale where you actually care, that's really, really hard.
That kind of doesn't matter what IT is. If you care enough, you'll find a way IT to make IT hard. Like because of IT was easy, somebody else would already be doing IT, which is what I always, my kids anyway.
Then, hey, you look here. L, D, any updates on the upcoming laptop messenger bag now that i'm starting to game on my lunch breakfast, I D like something not as big as the legende antique backpack. I'm checking.
I have my my update, an email from neck. I don't see anything about IT in there, but I think we I think it's I think development is done and we're just waiting on finalizing our initial order quantities. It's gonna awesome.
Honestly, I gotto tell you, I know what my rules are, but I am tempted to just offered as a presale because I know it's really good. It's based on the same DNA as the backpack um and IT would help us a lot in terms of figuring out what our order quantities should be. Yeah w calder ini says its money from me. Ah I I know I know a lot of people are waiting for IT, but I don't know if a lot is a thousand or ten thousand or .
one hundred thousand. I no idea what what justifies a review justifies .
IT what just .
like what makes IT okay well the .
line we drew in the sand before was it's not a preorder, it's a book order because IT had been available to real individual retail customers who have were given an opportunity to use IT and review IT with the .
time line line up with one of the lands.
Now probably not yeah like if we just go mass production, then we have to commit now if we have to decide right now essentially. So in order for us to to to do any kind of um no, we didn't proceed. The screw driver, we backwards the screw driver, we sold some screw drivers and then IT was a while before we were gonna stock and the backside ver.
So a lot of three drivers and like seems fair, do that again. Yeah really hard. IT is IT adds a ton of overhead if it's not something where we're sure we're going to sell tens of thousands of units, that just doesn't make any sense.
We might as well just order figure of them. And if IT sells out, IT sells out more under smart, um it's it's tough people. They are saying no period and like hey no but you also don't have to order IT. We do have the trust me grow, the trust me grow, the trust me grow guarantee, feel Better problem will deal that would IT make .
you feel Better. Things like a little banner being like, no, no one has been able to order this yet. No one has been able to review this yet.
We always recommend against priority yeah .
but like you can if you want. I guess it's like super chat will stop you from doing super chat. Yeah I just tell you to do more.
Some people are super mad about that, right? I don't know because it's hypocritical or because it's because I don't know they find a way to make IT evil because I will allow people to throw money at the screen, even though I advise them not to. It's like why for free country and throw money at the Green? If you want to, I can stop you. I I make IT really clear how to interact with the show and aint super chat.
Yeah there's no obligation to like, respond to or deal with super chats, even if that's the only one that you have.
Yeah, I don't know. I maybe maybe i'll talk to maybe I talk to the bias about .
IT the bias.
This is great. The hamet guy, I don't think you should do IT because principles, but i'll preorder one if you do IT. And this is why micro transactions exist. Yeah.
what's the bad guys?
Okay, that's a reference. We we this is also during the upcoming A N. D. Ultimate tech upgrade.
I were doing something and we were trying something and just kind of riff and we were like, yeah, we like to try guys, except there's two of us. So where are the by guys? Oh, wait.
wait, you're gonna alisa to .
do what you said.
I'll ask the bad guys.
No, no, no. The boys like it's it's just like eastern canadian boys. Oh, mean, the voice.
wow. Yeah, right. It's going out for rip ter. But mean in the bias, you don't use .
any canadian specific lying. Yeah I know. Okay um alright.
cool. And you I got a two, four four year, eight year then is here hey, dl, a line is what aspects of your company's culture are you most proud of developing or maintaining now that you built linus media group into a one one hundred person employee company? It's hard for me to say, because the view that I get of a crowd d of that just happens every day.
World class, world class. P on the floor. World class.
Maybe he looks part of private. I felt myself. I think you get yours all over yourself.
What's .
happened?
Why did I start this?
Um it's hard for me to tell because I never see the same view that other people see and I never wanted that to be true. I always wanted to be one of the gang and just you know, in the throw of IT and like working in the trenches with everybody, right? But the reality of IT is that I see a very different side of people, then they see of each other because whenever i'm around, the boss is watching. And that as much as I don't want that to be the case that, that is how IT is. And and I mean, okay.
coming back to that a lot over the last few days .
that I was watching you, no, no, no. Oh.
like being mode and tone shifts when I would get close. Yeah, okay, yeah. And like to be clear.
I get like I get IT going back to the thing with the backpacker early. It's like when I see something wrong instantly, it's it's not it's not even a conscious thought and like, okay, investigating fix. And you know, sometimes the thing that's going wrong is what someone else is doing, right? Like it's and IT doesn't have to be in like an evil or nasty way or anything.
But IT is IT is something that I am very passive about that I obviously have a lot, a lot tied up and I have a lot writing on the success of this company and know I I want to make sure that IT continues to be successful for myself and obviously for the other people who work here. As who, as far as I can tell, still we want to work here and still wanted to exist, right? So it's some it's it's tough.
And so I think you know, I think that i'm really proud of is that people are are able to give feedback without fear repercussions. But it's possible that some people do feel fear and that something that I I want us to never lose track of continuing to try to improve. So um having having scheduled times for people to get feedback, I am going back to, I think was IT the first year of the second year that we started doing annual reviews that I gave you guys the form ahead of time and asked you to fill them out for me as well should you should you desire is .
not the first year of the first year's annual reviews were like.
super weird. Yeah, I really awkward. IT was probably one of the most dark turning points from broken a garage to corporate that we ever and was also like in my room, yeah yeah in looks at all as corporate as IT can be when it's in looks basement sweet.
That is under the office that he rents from me in the bedroom, in the bedroom okay, in fairness, why yeah, why did you not sleep in the proper bedroom of this week? I forget, well, there wasn't one. I think, yeah, well, okay, didn't have a window, but IT was like kind of a bedroom like format when you just came down on the stairs.
that room. So that was all I had at the beginning but because no.
we didn't need there those no, you were you were in the other side when we had our first annual reviews, I believe could be wrong. And was that the second one then maybe, oh, wow, did we really meet in .
the little like the I definitely happen, I remember that meeting?
Oh, no.
I also remember the other one so that must have been.
yeah you two yeah okay .
because eventually I had the whole thing but at the .
beginning I just had the like little amazing yeah so we we encourage we encourage feedback. Um I I think part of the part of the chAllenge now is I don't sorry, no 还有 you in flow playing。 Anyway, I think part of the problem now is that I don't get to interact personally with everyone, and I don't get to build that report.
So IT used to be that I think everyone knew that they could give me honest feedback. They could tell me if they didn't think my work was very good. They could tell me if they didn't think that my assessment of their work was fair. Um these days I I don't I don't think so, but I think that if there's if there's one thing that I can I can still say it's that we still try and we will we will always continue to try. And that's something that i'm very proud of because I think that's how .
we continue to get Better. I think IT helps that, uh, a lot of the people from back then are still around. So that mentality or the. Now I say this, I feel like i'm lack in the words the people who did IT when we were like small and agile and IT wasn't that hard to do.
IT can estimate to the fact that IT was done and IT is a thing and IT is still a thing if you know what I mean. And I think that helps. The culture might not completely solve that problem because I don't think .
you can and helps, but it's hard for those people to even tell if if its helping when. Now that also in such a position of power that they may not be able to see everything yeah like there's always going to .
be some installation yeah and .
the more layers there are, the more insulated I am and think I just I want to continue to try to do things. okay. Are we just had our company Christmas party this this month day? Yeah was that was weird.
It's always weird. I think it's it's always weird, right? It's always a little weird, yeah but not in a bad way.
One, a couple part of main principles for the Christmas party of one is that it's not work. IT is not content. yeah. The up two is that IT needs to be memorable.
There are always memorable, always a very distinct memories from .
all of them. Some weird and not not in like you know like drug down or like anything like that. We run that kind of like a wedding party.
Yeah that's a really good reference.
yeah. So we will play like games where everyone gets up out of their chairs and goes and 就是 okay, we played a game this year that involved like like like flag capture. Like like you you have a like a belt with a with a tail. What kind of games are played like that? Just I think flag football is the best.
Yeah but you weren't a loud, like running and stuff in. You had you had people inside that had to steal the flags. You had to hand off the flag to a designated hacker, and the hacker had to use codes that were on the flags to like, breaking the locks.
What I thought was hilarious was the amount of people from my team that were designated the hackers, because there was all like the developers and stuff that we're distributed, monks, all the tables. So like half the hackers were just people from which was great. I thought that was really phony.
Yeah, the theme was, the theme was this year was sort of events took place, so so that game was obviously about the hack. I don't know what just and you know what, most of the time the games don't really work out the way that we envisioned.
Yes, they're always this year was pretty rapid with cheap on both games that was like brutal. But I mean, whatever, it's just supposed to be fun right now.
Yeah, I like to think people, we customers, we dress up. What year did that start? Was that the year that we did the like? Was that the ten million subscriber year?
I think that was one of the years when I was banned.
Well, you weren't band. You just weren't invited.
I was not allowed. That's the same as ban OK. You can flavor that wording .
as much as you want. It's a little more nuance to them. What a little.
And I think that would be a much a longer conversation that we're going to be having about IT right now. Speaking of people not being afraid to speak their markets without fear, retaliation. And never been a problem. Yeah, yeah. Maybe I should be more.
I was the one that was bad.
Now any who we started these more years .
and that i'm drying .
very effective and who we started this costume thing and the first year um we were like, hey, there's gonna a theme and you you should dress up according to the theme and we didn't say why they should do that. And so if some people did.
some people why I think .
is about fifty, fifty maybe. So the people that showed up, the people that I was get into that yeah the people that showed up found out that there was like a costume contest, and there was there was awards. And you could get tickets for having the most inventive or having the most complicated.
I forget, I forget of the funniest or whatever else. And no one know what the tickets for for. But we were giving out tickets all night for participating in the games and for for dusting according to the theme of the party and everything like that.
Then at the end, IT turned out that the tickets were for a raffle that had crazy, crazy stuff in IT are like, just crazy. And so overnight, from the first one to the second one, we went from tepid participation to one hundred percent. Note, I think actually we were over one hundred percent participation this year because even non employees were dressed according to the theme of the night. So I consider that over one hundred .
percent participle employee .
to think so. Yeah, over one hundred.
do you what? I thought IT was hilarious. I thought I think .
I caught him and .
so he came late. So it's not she's prising, but he had SHE wore one of my oh.
this year the theme was the food .
groups yeah so my my team was uh, cereal um so SHE SHE threw this together super last minute because he didn't know plus ones were able to stress up because I got the news .
of the theme while I was in japan.
So I think, no, it's not supposed to. And so SHE grabbing of my donnot media merge shirts that has just kinds of beans on IT, because give IT the beans or whatever. And SHE crossed out with Green painters, tape all of the cans, except for two of them, and then wear a name tag that just said.
sam.
actually so funny. And I think I think like almost nobody got IT. So I didn't get like the credit that deserved. But IT was great. IT was so good.
I was so cool seeing what some of the teams put together. Riley was was a super ethical farmer and yeah yeah and his team was really like .
the whole team.
like the live animals yeah and then like the product of the animals. And then they had a butcher. Um what was what was the chef's name? I forget.
I don't know the chef's name, but I had A A minecraft sd.
yeah and and so like during the the during the judging we had the plus ones do like an applauds o meter like judging thing and rightly would like bring the animals to the butcher and you'd like kill them and then the product, I don't know ah I .
was like cohesive. Everybody has to be involved in to work. wealth? Yes, those great.
super cool. Uh oh uh sweets a Candy Candy was um a bunch er er eminence. And then David dressed up as a sugar daddy.
He's costume with A. I was having a really hard time, was cereal. I couldn't figure out anything I kept leaning towards like, do I run with IT too far and do like serial killer?
But I like, no, so was too obvious. Yeah, no, I thought, I thought the serial .
team to the great job. And then I I liked what I ended up coming up with. I, so joe, I were making our costumes together. Yeah, but we went to go do IT at my place.
And john needed to use like a oil markers and clue and stuff, so we are like, okay, what? We can do this because the birds, so we can have fumes. So we were sitting in the lobby of my apartment, oh my, got making the costs and people walking by, well, i'm like making terrible s out of carport.
And he's drawing a catch up labor and felt just some of the some of the looks we got. We're amazing. No one asked like, why are you doing this here? No one asked that question was because was .
obvious because you can't do IT somewhere clearly. I mean, no one would choose to be there anyway was really IT was really fun. IT was a total blast. Massive showed andy for being our photographer.
And I get to actually have like good pictures of everything for change, because eve on, and I usually just like running around chickens with our heads cut off and we don't really get to process any of IT. I'm excited to look back at the pictures and we've for once to remember to take a group photo. I forget who was like, wait, wait a little group photo like after we'd been like, okay, thanks, looking like we have so few grew pictures as a company.
I wish we had the few that exist. Like, remember that that silly when we took where we all pile on the coach before we moved into the new office. I, I, I, I wish we had more of that. No, just we were so busy doing IT, we forgot that we might want to look back at IT someday.
That is a very legendary photo. Though unhappy, we have at least that one that makes up for quite a lot.
Yeah, well, that was before anyone had left. Yeah so at least you know we at least we have that. Yeah you know there was no one that we like missed getting a group picture with in those days. One person left, there was one. No mean the intern.
No, there was one person that was fired.
Oh, I don't count that, kay. okay. And you but you got hi deal. I'm a construction equipment Operator from pennsylvanian.
What's your take on tech in construction like autonomists equipment, offsite control trucks that shut down automatically, or G, P S farming, G P S ml? yes. This is the wave, and why are you so passionate about that? both.
cool. I am I D. It's also it's basically not depending on what you're trying to do. It's it's basically a robot vacuum. I mean, the things that could go wrong compared to autonomous equipment in like construction .
exact thought I was having autonomous equipment in construction sense. Terry, just to play off like this sounds like you're missing a lot of sensory information for safety reasons. Trucks that shut down automatically sounds really bad.
but I don't know about you, but I want actual humans Operating the heavy machines for Better, for worse. I want trained actual .
humans for now. But GPS faring, ool is sick.
A Wanda deal and greeting from europe. Linus, will you get your hands on the iron o with mini L, D? And how do you see many L D compared to OLED? Um I actually wasn't aware of IT yet. I am super happy with I love the R G. I and I love the team back old and i'm not sure which one to play auto path traveler on.
I I started IT and i'm actually not really enjoying IT though I I got to the first like boss fight in the first scenario, got my absolutely handed to me in a way that I just don't I didn't know you even really understand IT felt completely unfair octopi traveling and yeah may be yeah maybe maybe it's peptic, maybe it's user error. It's beautiful. It's beautiful but also it's just it's just felt kind of like the so far I don't know yeah I am sure it's a skill issue, but I just I don't know it's it's a new game so that doesn't come with a manual IT shows showed me how to you know stack up attacks or whatever.
But i'm seeing going like what i'm supposed to i'm supposed to need like multiple portions to heal my guy and like first possible ed, I thought i'm just still learning the game mechanics. But then my understanding of the game is that you play all eight of the campaigns. So I guess they have to be difficult enough that by the time you during the eighth one, which is the same, whether you played first or last IT still has to be chAllenging and interesting .
things that have done difficulty shifting based on your order before.
I guess.
So like they .
can scale each one yeah um anything oh right you are oh right. So I can't decide. I could even decide which one to play IT on. I really like them both.
I don't many other cool, but I I see IT as kind of a stepping stone to OLED as long as your youth case isn't going to have burn nb, an enormous problem for you. And I I would rather just have OLED, but the steam deck is not as powerful the right now. There are both great options.
I can even decide which one I would want to play a game on. As a dev manager at technology corporation laying off fifty percent of the team, I had to inform those affected despite not making the call. Have you ever delivered news that impacted people's lives while being limited by hr script? Well.
yeah yes, that's honestly part of a gig.
That's a huge thing like A B C. Um if you give someone a reason for parting ways, they can take that reason and twisted into a huge variety .
of different yeah huge.
huge variation of different things. So the legal advice we get now is you just have to say it's not working out. We're going in a different direction.
They ask why you basically just say it's not working out. We're going in a different direction. It's like I feel feel so unfair you just to me .
but you you and it's frustrating because you really want to like help that person in that moment yeah but you like legally can't it's just are you open .
yourself up to a bunch of liability, which feels kind of ridiculous, right? Hey, deal a long time listener, first time color linus, was your what was your experience like getting fitted for your big screen beyond i'm currently in the process of getting mine exchange for a narrower ipd. They know I don't know.
Yeah I guess bad luck with seemingly more and more coffee sponsorships lately, would IT be possible to persuade them to support an open A P. I, to enable things like a home assistant integration? I've raised this as a concern with the business team.
I think they're bringing IT to go v and figuring out sort of what the searches is right now. Love listening to all while working. Look, what is the project you regret the outcome of most, Peter, sorry, my actual first time, my thd pizza ter.
My first thought did go to pizza computer, but I think i'm going to say the the post feature on flow plan, which is interesting because people use IT now.
But anyway, so the the post feature, basically we were trying to do create recruitment and we just had video and a bunch of people were like, oh, you need you need audio and picture and text or else it's like not everything and like we'll join once you do that, we're like, okay, 所以 spent six months doing that。 We did IT and then nobody cares. It's just like, uh, mah, that's that's one of the points in time where we shifted to like, okay, we're going to make stuff for the craters are all .
on the platform. I've personally used posts .
now for whatever reason. It's used actually quite a bit yeah like a lot of cratures use IT, a lot of people found very good ways to use IT stuff like that. But when we first launched IT, nobody used IT.
It's a workflow thing. I understand ya atta but like it's IT was IT was depressing at the time um but I mean yeah i'm happy we have IT now because it's like actually very common. Leave IT also allows you to have multiple things per upload.
So like someone can upload a video with individual graph files attached to IT uh yeah there's like a lots of other stuff there was for the behind the scenes of the what it's like to work at L, T, T. Videos, uh, are not behind the scenes for the extended cuts of that. There was like so many videos that they ended up upload them in in clamps so that you didn't get like ten billion notifications. IT was good.
Linus, what about doing a quarterly or buy monthly merge update instead of with one updates? I feel like IT would be easier to go much more in depth and that would be easier to find specific updates. The intention is for that to take place in the create a warehouse newsletter.
At some point, we've had a really hard time just with being busy with other things, being on top of that and doing them regularly enough. But at some point, I want that newsletter to be that content that you're asking for here. I think we talk about merge enough on the show as IT is.
And I don't think we can avoid talking about every week because so many people ask us about IT. So I don't think we're going to move to just consolidated monthly talking about merge sessions. And I don't think that um adding monthly to the already weekly ones we're doing is going to the way to go.
I think I think getting that news letter up and running is is probably the best bet with modern CPU getting hotter and hotter. At what point is that necessary to commit to an A I O or water cooler? Ah well, it's complicated right today.
But also never a IOS are not always the best solution like if I was going thd ripper r to those thermos fe and guys still exist because that's what I want thread report. Yeah, this thing sick. Do they do they support the the new ones though? Oh, no, no, no, no.
Oh, I don't say anything about the new ones. ah. Do they have lake news media reviews blog anything? Okay, I don't I don't know.
Um anyway, ice giant type products can I can? I can I buy I can just buy IT. Yeah I think they probably still have some work to do for a mounting for the new thread ad paper. But I honestly, i'd rather have something like this than a water cooler just because it's fewer points of failure not to worry about the pump feeling.
So says there's sixteen left, but that number hasn't going down and there's no in there. Oh, okay, I see as one in incoming, I does IT. I don't think I have an answer for this one though. I can't think of a feature in the game that was removed after the game got an update that has bothered me. U can you think of a feature in game that we .
have been try to think about this? Not really, to be honest. I know this is a thing, but it's not something that i've like track .
um like nurturing weapons and stuff like that. You know obviously you know that kind of sucks if that you're into that matter. Yes but it's sof a su I complained .
about was battle bit had a map and mode voting system and they just turned IT into l like a random slot machine .
instead of voting. okay.
Well, I think that's .
a great example.
yes. Yeah, I think that's the best one that I mean.
this didn't this wasn't removed from halo infinite because I was always stupid like this but not being able to select what game mode do you wanted play, not being able to say, yeah, I just want to play a capture the flag tonight that was removed compared to how IT should work. But I was always like that ridiculous. And I think that's pretty much IT for tonight. Oh, update on the rain cover for the backpack, asks brace b.
Okay, we've got our sample of something that i'm ready to press go on except the pricing is a big problem and the pricing is my fault because I wanted the rain fly to turn the backpack um reflective because anytime there's rain there can be visibility chAllenges is I really wanted the bag to be black to match our look but also be high this so we've got this really cool graphic that is a collaboration between um it's sort of based on some of lydda artwork. But then IT was adapted by a relatively new member of our creator house team, lisa. And it's like, kind of mountains and like, I don't consultations this have, like, super cool.
And then in the initial meeting about IT, I was like, man, how cool would IT be? Because we have two different options for the reflective material. We had the kind of like gray hive's one, and then you know that like inbox reflective material, okay.
so we order to look sick.
So we ordered samples with the, just like the gray one and with the rainbow one was like, h you know, be really cool. We had like grey mountain and like rainbow northern lights. That sounds that's going to be like sixty or seventy dollars because it's now a multistage process.
but that sounds actually amazing, but look amazing.
So we're trying to figure out what to do. Do we do we go forward with IT and just have like the world's most expensive rain fly?
Or do do we pretty wicked?
Or do we do the same thing and just have one color and have to be way cheaper to know what the difference would be? I don't remember exactly. It's a it's more than you think because IT may takes this like you do one stage thing and IT turns IT into like a multi stage thing. I like IT kind of fast up the the the process. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I love the idea of the two mode. Yeah that is a low expense yeah that's it's very expense.
I guarantee .
some people buy IT.
but see, I don't want to just do the rainbow guys because the visas not as high and functionality first is it's like safety first, no, but like for real, right? Anyway, I think that's IT. Thanks for tuning into the winds show. You guys. We'll see you next week.
Same bad time. Nel.
i'm surprised so many people had stuff to buy, if not a crazy promotions. We had the black friday.
