Commonly referred to as ‘the hot tooth’, a patient who presents with one can never be totally trusted to make the decision on treatment or even diagnosis.

It is not as uncommon as we would expect that sometimes the patient is just in too much pain to be logical in their decisions or even correct about which tooth it is.

In this episode, I take you through a real-life example of how I handle these cases, particularly communication, and the number one thing you should look out for the next time a patient shows up in pain.
