Hello everyone, I'm Guy Benson, host of The Guy Benson Show on Fox News Radio, GuyBensonShow.com, and guess what? It is time to take the quiz. ♪
This is The Quiz. History, pop culture, science, sports, civics. How much do you know? Let's find out. Take the quiz now at thequiz.fox. Five days a week, it's five questions in less than five minutes. We ask people on the streets of New York City to play along. Let's see how you do. Question one. Who is Kelly and Skipper's sister?
I have no clue. I ain't going to lie. Oh, Barbie. That's an easy one. This has been all over pop culture in the last year. That's right. It's Barbie. Question two. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were both debated at Independence Hall in which city? Lenox and Concord. Pennsylvania. Philadelphia.
This one should be pretty easy if you attended, like, basic American history courses at any point in school. The answer is Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, of course. All right, how are we doing so far? Hopefully two for two. If not, remedial civics on the last one. And you got to get out of your hole on Barbie. I mean, my goodness. But let's keep going. Question three. What disease was commonly spread on pirate ships?
Simon Manila. How you say it? HIV. Scurvy.
Now, there might be a few answers to this one, but the most common is, you might have guessed it, scurvy. I think they needed more fresh vegetables, if memory serves. They didn't have a lot of those on the high seas. All right, question four. This one is getting trickier. After running three unsuccessful presidential campaigns, this man was the lead prosecutor in the famous 1925 Scopes Monkey trial. What was his name?
Thomas Edison. George Washington. Abraham Lincoln.
I actually happen to know this one. He did run for president three times. He fell short every time. William Jennings Bryan, who actually graduated from what became Northwestern University Law School, my alma mater, at least on the undergrad side. So I'm going to say go cats. Play, share, listen. Have you taken the quiz yet? You should. Go to thequiz.fox every weekday to play along. Question five is next.
Mushromology.
Botany. I don't know. Mushroomology. Shrooms. The answer is, and I did not know this, mycology is the study of mushrooms.
So how'd you do? Don't want to talk about it? Maybe you do. I was four for five. That's a solid B, maybe a B minus. Either way, you can always try again tomorrow. Take the quiz every weekday at thequiz.fox. Then come back here and see how you did. I'm Guy Benson, and thank you for playing.
