The state of sex education in our country is abysmal! In many places the only thing taught is abstinence, and in a majority of states, sex ed doesn’t even need to be medically accurate! How ridiculous is that?!? Better sex ed has a huge range of benefits, from a reduction in unwanted pregnancies to lower rates of STI’s to improved quality of health overall.
