ONS member Rachel Hirschey, PhD, RN, assistant professor in the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, associate member at Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, and member of the North Carolina Triangle ONS Chapter, joins Stephanie Jardine, BSN, RN, oncology clinical specialist at ONS, to discuss the physical and mental benefits of exercise, how it can help patients during and after cancer treatment, and strategies for clinicians to build their own sustainable exercise routines.
