Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Money Mondays podcast. This is a quick solo episode to talk about the most important passion thing that I have, which is charity.

and the biggest version of charity that I've ever done. I want to walk you through it. Okay. Typically on the Money Mondays, we talk about three core topics, how to make money, how to invest money, how to give it away to charity. So this episode is going to be a shorter version where I just talk about charity on one core topic, not about the model citizen fund, which I've had for 11 years, which we make backpacks for the homeless with 150 emergency supply items inside. I'm not talking about Trina's Kids where we do the Thanksgiving food drive

or the back to school drive or the report card day. We're not going to talk about the homeless, not about the toy drives. We're not going to talk about the $100 tipping club, which you guys could be doing. $100 tipping dinners. Get your friends together. Get 5, 10, 15, 20 friends together. Pitch in $100 each and surprise the waiter, waitress, and the kitchen staff with like $1,000, $2,000 of all you guys chipping in. Not talking about any of those things today. We're talking about one core thing because it's about to happen this December 2nd through 17th. We're doing the world's largest toy drive.

the 10-year anniversary of the world's largest toy drive, where we already broke the Guinness Book of World Records for the toy drive twice before. This time, for our 10-year anniversary, 10 cities in 15 days. I might be a psychopath because I'm going to fly around to all 10 cities. Me, Vince, Richie, and Roger Rojas, our videographer, Vince Richie, the co-founder of Trina's Kids, are going to actually fly around to all 10 cities in a 15-day period. And in between there,

December 5th and 6th, Aspire Tour. We're throwing a 5,000-person event with Kevin Hart, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, A-Rod, Sarah Blakely, Jesse Itzler, Marcus Limones, and my co-founders, Andrew Cordo and Eddie Wilson. So if you're going to be anywhere near Atlanta, go to AspireTour.com. Come see us in Atlanta December 5th and 6th. The night before, on December 4th, is the world's largest toy drive in Atlanta.

December 2nd is in Los Angeles. I'm gonna give you all the dates here. I actually have it right here. World's largest toy drive is Los Angeles on Saturday, December 2nd. I'm gonna be reading off this thing real quick. Atlanta, Monday, December 4th. St. Louis, Thursday, December 7th at the First Form headquarters. We're Andy Fursella, Sal Fursella, First Form. We're gonna do the back of their warehouse area. Thursday, December 7th in St. Louis.

Tampa, Florida, Friday, December 8th. Tampa, Florida is with Vic Tipness. Vic Tipness owns a humongous medical care company. Just yesterday, he bought his first Gulfstream private jet and he's being nice enough to have us host the world's largest toy drive in Tampa in a private jet hangar. How cool is that? So it's going to get a lot of media, a lot of press about toy drives. Keep in mind with

Largesttoydrive.com, people can donate there, but mostly what we care about is you actually giving out toys. And so our goal is to make a lot of media to inspire people so they can do toy drives also in their local towns anywhere in the world. So to have cool places like stadiums, first form headquarters, airport hangar like a private jet hangar, et cetera, have really cool factors to get us more media, more eyeballs for people to do more toy drives in their local towns, small, medium, or large.

Okay, so Tampa is December 8th, Friday, December 8th with Vic Tipness as the host. Jacksonville, Florida. Jacksonville is Saturday, December 9th. Jacksonville will be at the Aspire Tour headquarters. AspireTour.com, which I just mentioned, is that tour we do all over the country.

We get 2,000 to 5,000 people at every event, sometimes 7,000 or more at our big conferences in the arenas. AspireTour.com at the headquarters in Jacksonville, Saturday, December 9th. All the guys from Cards & Coffee, our Cards & Coffee location is there in Jacksonville as well. They're going to be there supporting us and bringing all the sports cards over there.

The next day is in Miami, Sunday, December 10th in Miami. If you have friends, family, or followers in these cities, that's why it's important. You might be in your main city where you live, but you've got friends, family, and followers that could go support us in cities like Miami, Sunday, December 10th. This will be at Boxer Gym, B-O-X-R. Boxer Gym has allowed us to be inside of their 48,000 square foot gym on Sunday, December 10th. Go to Boxer Gym.

Dallas, Texas. Wednesday, December 13th is Dallas, Texas with Ryan Steumann. His Instagram is at Hardcore Closer or at Ryan Steumann.

And so in Dallas on Wednesday, December 13th for Ryan Steumann, it's going to be at the Apex headquarters. Apex is a humongous mastermind group. It's pretty much the biggest mastermind group on the planet where you can get coaching from him. Ryan Steumann has been in the game for many, many years. He's allowing us to use his office, his headquarters, which is super cool on Wednesday, December 13th in Dallas, Texas.

Phoenix, Friday, December 15th. Phoenix, Friday, December 15th. We'll be at the Dixon Clothing Headquarters. D-I-X-X-O-N. You should check out the episode. We had the CEO of Dixon. He built up over $100 million a year flannel company, flannel shirts company. I have the episode where you can hear that interview on the Money Mondays with the owner of Dixon Clothing. So Phoenix, Friday, December 15th at the Dixon Clothing Warehouse.

Salt Lake City, Saturday, December 16th. Salt Lake City will be at the headquarters of a very large company. I'm going to have to give you the address here. I'm going to go read it in a second. On Saturday, December 16th, let me get you that address because that's not going to be as easily searchable. And then the finale one will be Las Vegas, Sunday, December 17th. That's going to be at the Dragon's Lair Gym. Las Vegas, Sunday, December 17th at the Dragon's Lair Gym.

Dragons later is owned by Flex Lewis seven time. Mr. Olympia won all these awards. He's allowing us to use his gym on Sunday, December 17th. We'll have Michael Sartain and that whole crew will be helping bring us a lot of influencers and models and friends and nightclub people in Las Vegas to help us promote at this one on December 17th at the Dragons later gym. Now really quickly, let me find the address for you of the location for the Salt Lake City one really quick. Bam, bam, bam, bam, bam. I got it right here. Okay. Salt Lake City,

All right, that's going to be at the Aptiv headquarters. Aptiv is a very large solar pest control company, A-P-T-I-V-E. Their address there is 5132 North 300 West in Provo, Utah. Okay, so I've given you the quick overview of the 10 cities toy drive. Let me walk you through how do you do it? Why do we do it? How can you do it? How can you support? Okay.

First things first, the main focus of the toys themselves. Can you donate money? Of course you can. Go to LargestToyDrive.com or go on Instagram at TrinasKids. T-R-I-N-A-S-K-I-D-S. TrinasKids. There's a link in bio there. You can donate through TrinasKids there.

If you prefer, if you've already donated to Model Citizen Fund over the years, you can donate through Model Citizen Fund, modelcitizenfund.com or .org, Model Citizen Fund. You can donate through any of these three and all collectively it's the same thing goes to the toy drive. Money does not go to our overhead. Dan is paying for the overhead. I personally am covering the overhead because I want 100% of the money, every little penny to go towards buying toys.

So when you hear us talking about traveling and flying around and all the staff volunteers, people in between the shipping, the trucking, I'm paying for that. And so do not be concerned about raising extra capital for the overhead of this huge endeavor, which is very expensive to do. I care so much about this. I want to make sure that every single penny goes towards the toys. So if you donate through Trina's kids, model citizen fund or largest toy drive.com, you can donate money there. However,

If you can be there in person and bring toys or have your friends, family followers, coworkers, et cetera, bring toys, that's what we really want. So let me walk you through the quick process, make this short and sweet. Right now, starting this week,

My entire life for the rest of this year, the rest of 2023, I've been turning down all speaking engagements for the rest of the time from November 15th through December 17th, the final event. I'm not doing any speaking engagements besides our own, obviously the Aspire Tour event. I'm not doing anybody else's engagements because I need 100% of my mental energy, my phone book, my phone calls, my emails, my texts to be focused on the world's largest toy drive because 10 cities in 15 days is insanity. So

How can you help? How can you help execute? Couple things. One, spread the word. Posting the flyer for your local city or the all 10 city flyer helps a lot. Share it with people that you know, what's called hand-to-hand combat. Share it directly with the news reporter that you might know. Share it directly with your friend that owns six car dealerships. Share it directly with your friend that owns a bunch of gyms or your friend that has a thousand employees or 30 employees. Sharing it directly with people that are movers and shakers helps a lot.

inviting friends, family, or followers to go to events in their city. So if you could send them the flyer in that city so that they can go to the toy drive in Las Vegas, Utah, Atlanta, et cetera, Tampa, Florida, Jacksonville, whatever, you can send them that flyer for that city for that time so that they can show up in person. The flow of the event is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The beginning of the day between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. is typically when most toys are arriving, sometimes the day before. But most of the time, we want you to bring them the day of that morning. And then we invite children's hospitals, homeless shelters, teen abuse shelters, women's shelters, et cetera, to come there in person and pick up toys from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Now, they can come throughout the day anytime they want, really from 9 to 5.

You can drop off toys at 4:59 p.m. We'll still take them. You can drop off toys at 9 a.m. anywhere in between and you can come pick up toys anytime 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in your local town. But prior to that, starting November 15th, we would like your help placing large brown boxes or large white boxes at office buildings, restaurants, corporate headquarters, high-rise buildings, and apartment buildings.

So if your friend has car dealerships or your friend has restaurants or has gyms or has real estate offices, et cetera, or you live in a high rise building or apartment building, or you just know someone that does talking with those front desk people, the concierges, the HOAs, et cetera, at these buildings and ask if you can place a large brown box or a large white box out front, or if it's cold there right inside the doorway that just has a big flyer on it that says to put toys there.

These are collection boxes. We need collection boxes placed all over your city within an hour of the location. So don't go too much farther than that because obviously it becomes too big of a headache. Really, we'd prefer the 20 to 40 minute vicinity. There's plenty to do there. But within an hour radius, we want as many big brown boxes, big white boxes placed there that has a big flyer on the side that says Toy Collections for the world's largest toy drive. And it shows the address of the location

so let's say it's las vegas it's going to be at dragon's lair gym and here's the address or salt lake city it's going to be at active here's the address wherever the city tampa boom it's going to be this airport hangar with victimness like having the address of the location of where these toys are going to go and what the date of where they're going to go so those collection boxes help because it gives us a few weeks in advance of collecting toys on the day of the event

We need people to go out there and pick up those big boxes and bring them to the host location. So if it's in Miami at the Boxer Gym, make sure that it's there that morning, those collection boxes. So if you can help place two boxes, five boxes, 10 boxes, 50 boxes, whatever you can do around your city at apartment buildings, high rise buildings,

Corporate offices, warehouses, restaurants, etc. Place those boxes everywhere so we can have collection boxes out there in the streets to collect a bunch of toys. Now, getting to game day, right? The days come for your city. You are posting about this is what you can do to help us. Texting people, posting on social media and saying, come to this toy drive. It's going to be at this city, this location, this time, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You doing that helps us dramatically. You getting your friends, family, followers, staff, etc. to do it also helps dramatically. The goal is to make everyone on the planet know about the largest toy drive so that they can do it too. If people start doing these in other cities, in other countries, etc., like we've watched happen over the years, this is our 10th year going into it, the butterfly effect of that is massive. So this one, we want worldwide fame.

Because we want this to be replicated all over the planet every year long after I'm dead. I don't need my name recognition. I don't need a shout out. I don't need a tag. I need people to know about the world's largest toy drive so we can make this as big as possible for hundreds and hundreds of years to come. Especially this year when we're in the midst of a recession, inflation, and all these things that are happening, people are cutting back on buying toys. What do I mean by that? Let me give you a quick example.

People are fighting through 9% of your inflation. But at the same time, bread, milk, water, eggs, gasoline, as you've heard me say before, have all gone from $2, $3, $4 to $4, $5, and $6. That's 50% to 100% inflation. So people that used to buy their core food items and their core beverage items are now double the price. Well, they got to cut back from somewhere. If they're only making X amount of dollars per month, if they're making $2,000, $3,000, $4,000 a month, and they have a family of four,

And now they're spending 200 bucks a week on groceries instead of 100. Well, that 100 bucks a week extra, that's $5,000 a year. That's a lot of freaking money. That's massive blow to many families, households. And so where are they going to cut back? They're not going to buy less bread. They're not going to buy less milk. They're not going to buy less meat and eggs and things that they need for their life and their family and their kids, right? For what they're feeding them. They're going to cut back on clothing, accessories, and toys.

And so this holiday season is extra, extra, extra important for us to really get behind the toy drive, make it as famous as possible, get as many kids, as many millions of toys as possible, far beyond what we do at our actual toy drives, spreading the word and showcasing to the world why we need this to happen. Okay, on the toy drive, you also might have heard last week I mentioned what's called two years too long.

Two years too long, the movement is you go into your closet and also do this with your significant other, your kids, your friends, staff, etc. Tell them to go into their closets and any clothing accessories or shoes that they haven't worn for two years or more, it's too long and they're going to get rid of it. They're either going to donate it to a local shelter, donate it to Goodwill,

Or they're going to sell it. You can sell it to thrift shops. You can sell it on therealreal.com or websites like that. There are plenty of sites that you can sell online clothing or shoes or accessories or purses or dresses or jewelry. You can sell on these type of sites. Poshmark is a huge one. Poshmark is a massive company. So you're either going to sell your items that are more expensive or medium priced items or they haven't been worn. They might have tags on them. That's definitely too long, right?

If you have not worn something for two years, your excuses are irrelevant.

Meaning, if you didn't wear something for one season, like, oh, it's winter season, I didn't get to wear that jacket or those snow boots, that one time or one year, you might skip a season. If you haven't worn it in two years or two seasons, it's too long. You're not going to wear it. You probably have a new jacket or new snow boots or new whatever, and that applies to everything. You're like, oh, I'm definitely going to wear that bikini or that dress. You're not. It's been two years. It's been three years. It's been four years. You're not going to wear it. You've probably bought more bikinis to replace it. And when the time comes...

Subconsciously, you're going to always pick the new ones. You're not going to wear the old ones from two, three, four, five years ago. So it's been two years. It's too long. Go into your closets. Please get your friends, family, followers. I'm creating this movement. You might have heard it on last week's podcast. I want people to do this again. Don't need to tag me. This is not for Dan. This is for the movement to happen so that millions of people can receive clothing, accessories, and shoes this holiday season and beyond.

So the two years, too long movement, it's really passionate of mine. I've been thinking about it for a long time and we just finally launched it last week. Go into your closets, tell your friends, family, follower, coworkers, et cetera. Tell people on social media that if it's been two years, it's too long. So either donate it or sell it. Okay. So largest toy drive. Let's wrap it up here.

December 2nd through 17th. As you guys heard, all the dates are there. You can always check my social media. You can check on Trina's Kids. You can check on everywhere. We're posting this everywhere. Get that flyer.

Take that flyer, the one that either has all 10 cities or has your main city, and please post about it. Please talk about it. I rarely ask for help on charity stuff. I'm always just talking about it and posting. This is our 10-year anniversary. This is the time I need people to show up. This is the time I'm asking for the favors because I want to make this as huge as possible, far beyond our 10 cities. I believe that we can make the world's largest toy drive something global.

We've watched what happened when we broke the Guinness Book of World Records. We took over SoFi Stadium. There was over 110,000 toys on that field with a few weeks notice. This time we've been planning this for months and months and months.

This time we've got ambassadors and people and big business people in each city to help us. Vic Tipness, Flex Lewis, all these type of people that are helping us, you know, active in Salt Lake City, helping us run these cities so that all their employees are getting behind it. All their staff, the whole Aspire Tour team out in Jacksonville. Like we're getting all of our staff, friends and family and followers to get behind this thing to make it huge. And I could really use your help. I want to make this happen.

really big. Whether you can afford to donate toys, money, time, energy, I just need the social media power, the social media to be spread out there so that we can get this thing as big as possible. All right, guys, you're listening to a quick special edition of the Money Mondays. We talked mostly about the toy drive and the two years too long movement.

We all grew up thinking it's rude to talk about money. I think it's rude that we not talk about money. It's the reason that so many people in our society have credit card debt, have bad FICO scores. They don't know about loans. They don't know about refinancing or renting or apartments or jobs and how much to ask for salary and how much they should be saving and what are taxes and what's a FICO score. They can't spell FICO because nobody brought it up to them. We don't talk about it in school. We definitely didn't talk about our household. And that's why the Money Mondays has been the number one

podcast in the entrepreneur category for 34 weeks in a row because of you guys and this important topic. So go out there, share it. Also, you can go on to the moneymondays.com if you want to be on our weekly Zoom call. It's every Monday at 4 p.m. PST. I'm personally hosting almost every Zoom call. Sometimes I have other CEOs and business people and friends that go on there to host

It's one hour every Monday at 4 p.m. You go to themoneymondays.com. It's 200 bucks for the month. All that money goes towards the toy drive. I pay for everything. So that capital is strictly for more donations, more toys. I really want people to understand and know

that if you go on these Zoom calls, you're going to be interacting with myself and other business people and be able to actually ask questions live. We bring you up on the spotlight. You can ask your questions or you can put it into the chat if you don't want to be on the spotlight. So we do these speeches for around 30, 40 minutes and talk about certain topics. And in the last 20, 30 minutes, we do these live Q&A sessions. So you get to ask questions about topics from real estate, investing, business, charity, life, etc. And so it's really great. The MoneyMondays.com, those Zoom calls.

So please like, comment, share, subscribe, et cetera, for the Money Mondays. It's really important. It helps us when you review us on the different platforms like Apple, Spotify, et cetera, on YouTube. Share us. Share us with your friends because we need to have these discussions about money. And we're going to see you every Monday for as long as I'm alive. Moneymondays.com. We'll see you guys next week.
