The Biden administration aims to ensnare the U.S. in the war to such an extent that the incoming Trump administration cannot withdraw support, tying Trump's hands upon taking office.

How does Tom Homan plan to handle deportations under a Trump administration?

Homan plans to start with deporting convicted criminals and then extend to all illegal aliens, emphasizing that being in the country illegally is a crime and maintaining the principle of justice.

Why is the Department of Education considered problematic by some conservatives?

The Department of Education, founded in 1979, has failed to improve American students' education, leading to a drop in international rankings. Conservatives argue it should be radically reformed or eliminated.

How did the media's portrayal of Kamala Harris change post-election?

Post-election, media figures like Katie Couric admitted that Harris was not as effective as they had portrayed, acknowledging her inability to answer questions succinctly and directly.

Why did Hakeem Jeffries refrain from calling Tulsi Gabbard a Russian asset?

Jeffries recognized that calling Gabbard a Russian asset would also imply that voters who supported her and Trump were Russian stooges, which would be politically unwise.

What does the debate between Cenk Uygur and Alan Lichtman on Piers Morgan's show illustrate about modern political commentary?

The debate illustrates the degraded and immature nature of much modern political commentary, with Uygur being obnoxious and Lichtman exhibiting a scientistic view that his models are infallible.

As President Trump prepares to make America great again, Joe Biden gives one last go at sending us all into World War III. I'm Michael Knowles, this is The Michael Knowles Show. Welcome back to the show. Some Democrats are beginning to admit just amongst themselves

That Kamala Harris was a terrible candidate. They're not necessarily pointing the blame at it was Trump lied or it was the election was rigged or it was the black guys turned on us or the Hispanics turned on us. Some are admitting that.

Kamala was a bad candidate. Now, before I get to any of that, I have to tell you about some wonderful, wonderful news, which is that we now have Mayflower Compacts, as I call them, in stock. This is the Mayflower Dawn Petit Corona product that I have been working on for nine months or so now, finally to market a lovely 38 ring gauge cigar, about four, four and a half inches long.

It's not a cigarillo exactly. It's a long filler premium hand-rolled cigar. So this will last you probably 20 minutes or so, maybe more. But they're available now. I'd mentioned this yesterday on the show, and we sold out of

a full half of our stock and we were pretty aggressive on the stock. So it's going to sell out. It's going to sell out very quickly. If you want them, I think they're just a magnificent stocking stuffer. I already put my order in, so I feel good. The rest can go to everybody else. I would put them in now. These could be going very, very quickly. Mayflowercigars.com. You must be 21 years old or older to order. Some exclusions apply.

There's so much more to say. First, though, go to helixsleep.com slash Knowles. There's nothing quite like a good night's sleep. But how can you rest easy when you are tossing and turning on a subpar mattress? You spend anywhere from a quarter to a third. Some people, maybe you spend half your life sleeping. Well, even if you're just spending a quarter of your life sleeping, make sure it's on something good, man. That's where Helix Sleep comes in. Let me tell you, Helix Sleep has been a revelation. I have had my Helix mattress for four years now or more.

It is a game changer. They offer 20 different mattress models, each designed for specific sleep positions and preferences. Unlike some other mattress brands out there, Helix mattresses are 100% fiberglass free, no harmful materials that could jeopardize your health or your family's well-being. It's the kind of product you can feel good about bringing into your home. Now I know what you're thinking. Michael?

This all sounds great, but what if I don't like it? Don't worry. Helix has you covered. They have a 100-night trial, a 10- to 15-year warranty that is longer than most leftist policies last before they start to erode our country. So if you're ready to revolutionize your sleep and wake up refreshed to fight the good fight, Helix is offering our listeners 25% off all mattress orders plus two free dream pillows and any mattress purchase. If you get a Lux or Elite mattress, Helix is for you.

Helix is also including a free bedding bundle, meaning two dream pillows, a sheet set and a mattress protector. Just go to helixsleep.com slash Knowles, H-E-L-I-X-S-L-E-E-P.com slash K-N-O-W-L-E-S. With Helix, better sleep starts right now. Are we headed into World War III? Maybe, maybe not, but Joe Biden is doing everything he can to take us there.

Ukraine has just fired supersonic tactical ballistic missiles into Russia. Where do Ukraine get the missiles? Where does Ukraine get any of its armaments from? From the United States. So this is a major elevation. We fought a Cold War with Russia for a little under five decades, and then...

We defeated the Soviet Union, but we've still had pretty tense relations since then. And it looks like we are hell-bent on bringing us closer to a direct conflict with Russia than we've been since the Cuban Missile Crisis. This might be closer. This might be higher stakes than the Cuban Missile Crisis. A major, major incursion into Russia. A major escalation of the Ukraine-Russia war on the 1,000th day of that war.

And this all follows Vladimir Putin changing the tactical nuclear threshold from Russia's perspective.

Russia has now said that it could, in principle, use tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine, given the provocation that Ukraine has just enacted on Russia. Not good stuff. So do we blame Zelensky? Do we blame Ukraine? I guess we blame Putin for the war. That's generally our perspective. But we also have to blame Russia.

Joe Biden a little bit here because Ukraine only fired those missiles with the permission of Joe Biden. Joe Biden, days previously, had given Ukraine the green light. So as this is going on, we get some more news coming out of Finland and coming out of Sweden, which is the two very deep undersea cables

Internet cables connecting Germany and Finland and another cable connecting Lithuania and Sweden. The former is 750 miles long. The latter is 135 miles long. These are major, major undersea cables. They both were severed.

I don't think this was an errant octopus. I don't think a dolphin went diving deep and started hitting it with his little bottle nose. This was obviously the work of human beings. Another escalation of the war reminds me all of an important lesson from Barack Obama. One of the few things that guy's gotten right, which is never underestimate Joe's ability to F things up. Joe's ability, and I guess the State Department's ability, and this weak administration's ability.

What is this all about? Why? We thought we were good, right? We elected Trump. We don't like the way foreign policy has been going under Biden and Harris. We don't like that the world seems to be on the brink of war. It's over, right? We won in November. Well, no, because the inauguration is not until January 20th. That means that you've got November to December. Actually, you've got the rest of November, so even more than that month, to December and January.

But like two and a half months to really, really mess things up. And that is what the Biden administration is trying to do. This isn't merely accidental. This isn't merely incompetence. The point of escalating the war between Russia and Ukraine is to tie President Trump's hands when he gets into office. What the Biden administration, the State Department are hoping right now is that the war will be at such a high fever pitch that Trump will not be able to wind down support of Ukraine.

This is not just some kind of crazy conspiracy. This is very obviously the grand strategy here, is to get America further ensnared in this war to the point that Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Trump, whoever the chairman of the Joint Chiefs will be, that these guys cannot pull us out. That's the point. And thus far, you got to give the devils their due, the Biden administration doing a pretty good job of it.

Meanwhile, President Trump is fighting just to get his nominees into office. We're still in the transition. Trump does not have the Oval Office yet. And the nominees are sticking strong as they can be. They will not be deterred by the shenanigans of the Biden administration. Here is Tom Holman, the deportation chief. The borders are explaining exactly how these deportations are going to take place.

Now, we'll give you a due process. You can have your day in court. But when you're ordered removed, you're going to leave and we're going to make you leave. Are you going to deport doctors? They're saying that there's going to be migrant doctors in the middle of surgery and ICE is just going to be dragging them out in their scrubs. Have you heard of that happening?

I have never heard that happening. I heard the other day that we're going to deport U.S. citizens too. I heard that one. But look, public safety threats, national security threats, fugitives, those who had due process at great taxpayer expense were ordered removed and went to hiding fugitives. And look, if you're in the country illegally, you're not off the table. It's not okay to cross this border. It's a crime. Every illegal alien that crossed that border committed a crime.

And it's not OK if you be in this country illegally. I don't go 200 miles an hour to come to this interview tonight because I don't want to get a ticket. I don't line my taxes because I don't want to get tax evasion. Well, it's not OK to be in this country illegally. So if you're in the country illegally, you've got a problem. If you're in the country illegally, you've got a problem. This is the point. So what I love Jesse's opening here, he says, what we're hearing is that American citizens are going to be deported.

Which is obviously ridiculous. What we're hearing is that illegal alien medical doctors performing surgery. I'm not sure how many of those there are exactly, but they're going to be pulled out mid-surgery. The patient's going to bleed out on the table because ICE is going to do raids of operating rooms. Yeah, no. So Tom Homan opens up. He says, now we're

First, we're looking at the guys with face tattoos, actually. First, we're looking at the obvious criminals who have been convicted of crimes in addition to the crime of coming into this country illegally. But then he makes a really important point. He doesn't give up the negotiation of the art of the deal here. He says, hold on.

We're going to start with the face tattooed criminals. We're going to start with the MS-13 affiliates, the Trende Aragua affiliates, the people who are murdering Americans, raping Americans, committing violent acts against Americans. We're going to start there. But that does not imply that the illegal alien who does not regularly commit violent crimes can just stay here.

That's not how it works. And he explains it's a matter of incentives. If you tell people who've broken basic law of America that they can just stay here, you're going to get more of that. And so the mandate from the American people across the aisle, including many Democrats, was we want to stop this illegal immigration. The only way you do that is if you can credibly threaten every illegal alien here and say, if you are in this country illegally, you could be deported.

Obviously, we have to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. We don't want the Democrats to do what we know they're planning to do, which is once the deportations start to put up cute little children, little old grannies who are being thrown into boxcars or something. That's what the Democrats want to say this is about. They want to pretend that there's no such thing as MS-13. They want to pretend that the cartels don't control the border. They want to pretend that the open border hasn't led to the biggest mass poisoning in American history. They want to pretend all these sorts of things.

They want to pretend people like Lakin Riley don't exist. I guess Lakin Riley doesn't exactly exist anymore because she was murdered by an illegal alien. But they want to pretend that all these crimes are not real. So the Trump administration has to do two things. And Homan is doing this beautifully. First, focus on all the obvious cases. Force the media's hand. Show the media to be liars. Actually take out the most imminent threats.

but also maintain the law in principle, carry out justice, which is what these guys have been given a mandate to do. Make it clear. It's not just the face tattooed guys. It's anyone who has broken our most basic laws. They need to at least understand that they are liable to be deported.

There's so much more to say. First, though, go to hillsdale.edu slash Knowles. Time is our most precious commodity. Love Hillsdale, one of the preeminent educational institutions in the country. Hillsdale.edu slash Knowles. Speaking of Trump nominees, President Trump,

has selected his pick for education secretary. That would be Linda McMahon. Linda McMahon, longtime Republican donor. She ran for Senate in the state of Connecticut, wife of the founder of the WWE. It is my great honor, President Trump writes, to announce that Linda McMahon, former administrator of the Small Business Administration, will be the United States Education Secretary.

McMahon has recently served as chairman of the board of the America First Policy Institute, an important Trump-associated think tank. And he says, as a strong supporter of school choice and parental rights, there's no one better to expel the woke agenda in our education system and put our children first than Linda McMahon. Okay, that's great. That's cool. Like Linda McMahon. She's terrific. I sure hope she has a short tenure at the Department of Education, though, because she's a terrific pick. I'm all for it.

But I was told that the Department of Education is going away. So I hope that she's in there. She, in the meantime, before Elon and Vivek turn their red tape machine gun on that aspect of the federal bureaucracy, I hope she's able to restore some sanity, get rid of all the LGBT LMNOP mandates, try to fix up education in as much as she can. But then that department's got to go away. It was founded in 1979 by Jimmy Carter, who

The purpose of it was to make American students better educated and smarter. It has manifestly failed at that. We have dropped down international rankings in education consistently and dramatically since that education department was founded. So we got to get rid of it. When something doesn't serve its purpose, you got to radically reform or just get rid of that system. If I had a leftist tears tumbler here.

And I poured delicious leftist tears in it. But the leftist tears started pouring out the bottom. There's a big leak. And let's say a better analogy. There were lots of leaks all over the tumbler. I could barely keep a half inch of liquid in there at any given time. It just the tumbler just doesn't work. What would I do? Maybe you try to patch up the tumbler. But if it's really broken beyond repair, you just throw it out. It's good for nothing.

That's the Department of Education. So, of course, we need someone in there. Power goes to the people who will wield it. So if there is such an administration, Trump needs to put a pick in there. But the Trump administration has to do multiple things at the same time. And it's tricky. That's just how corrupt our system is now. Trump has his work cut out for him. There's no question about it.

But we should not be seduced by the notion that we can just wield the Department of Education for our own ends. So that's true of certain government agencies. Of this one, I just don't think that's how it works. I think so long as there is a federal Department of Education, it will ultimately redound to the benefit of the left. And so we just got to get rid of it.

And I can't wait till Elon and Vivek get there. Okay. Speaking of education, the Texas Board of Education is very close to some wonderful action that is to approving the Bible in schools. Sort of. I'm a strong proponent of the Bible in schools. I'm a strong proponent of the Bible of schools for a couple reasons. One, because I believe that the Bible is the inerrant inspired word of God.

But even put that aside, let's say you don't believe that you're an atheist or an agnostic or Zoroastrian, whatever. The other reason, even if you're not religious, that you should support the Bible in schools is that the Bible is the most important book ever written. It is a book without which we can't understand anything else about our civilization. It is the book that has formed everything else. You can't read William Faulkner without understanding the Bible. You can't read...

the modern scientists. You can't read Isaac Newton or Galileo without understanding the Bible. I mean, you can read them and you can try to glean some insights from them, but it won't make sense. The Bible forms the basis of our entire education or what could be our education. If you take that out, if you take out the key piece, nothing really seems to make sense. So that's why we need the Bible in schools. Also, if you want to pursue truth, but you

insist that we take God, the source and summit, and the actual identity of all truth out, then you're not going to have a very good run of things. But just even at the most basic normie level, you can't understand the Western canon without the Bible. What Texas is doing, though, is not even insisting on putting the Bible in schools, as you're going to hear from the left. A majority of the Texas Board of Education's 15 members

They signaled their support for something called Blue Bonnet Learning, which is an elementary school curriculum that just includes certain Christian teachings and biblical references. That's it. That's according to the Texas Tribune. The majority of the school board signaled their support for an elementary school curriculum that includes references to the Bible. That's it. I don't know how much more modest a proposal you could get.

So if you say, I oppose murder and I think you should love your neighbor, love God above all things, and your neighbor is yourself. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you say that, you are referencing the Bible. We got to get that out of schools too. Hey, you probably shouldn't steal. That's a reference to the Bible. That's a reference to the Ten Commandments.

Hey, it's probably a good idea not to covet your neighbor's ox. That actually usually is not taught in elementary schools, but it's a good rule too. You can't, basic aspects of even the natural law, can you not teach them? Because they do in fact reference the Bible, certainly in our culture. I don't know, pretty modest. Here's what an opponent would say. This is Mary Lowe, co-founder of Families Engaged for an Effective Education, some super lib group. I am a Christian, she says, and I do believe that religion is part of our culture, but our nation does not have a religion. We're unique in that.

Put a pause there. You're telling me that the nation that has in God we trust on all of our money, the nation for which in our national anthem we say, conquer we must when our cause it is just, and this be our motto and God is our trust, that nation doesn't have a religion. The nation for which it was refounded by Abraham Lincoln doing his own riffs on the King James Bible

That that nation so devoted, so consecrated language straight out of the Bible, that that's not a religious nation. Our nation where our first president celebrated Thanksgiving, giving thanks to God. Our nation that was founded by pilgrims on the Mayflower and then later by Puritans who said that we would be a model of Christian charity in a shining city on a hill. We don't have a religion.

You know why she's saying that? Because in the First Amendment, it says we will not establish a church at the national level. Do you know why we have that provision of the Constitution? Because there were already established churches at the state level that persisted for decades after ratification. So she's just wrong about this.

She says, it's not even though she says, I hate religion. I can't argue with her about hating religion exactly. If that's her subjective preference, de gustibus non disputandum est. But that's not what she's saying. She's saying, I'm a Christian. I think religion is part of our culture, but we don't have a religion. And that's just not true. We're a Christian country. Nobody really before the middle of the 20th century would have said with a straight face that we don't have a religion. Then she goes on. Digression aside, she says,

I do not think that our school districts should imply or try to overtly impress to young impressionable children that the state does have a religion. Okay. So then certainly the school shouldn't tell children that a boy can really be a girl because a person's true identity has nothing to do with their body. Right? That's obviously a religious, a cultish concept.

School shouldn't do that, right? School shouldn't say it's okay for two men to get together and call it marriage. That would be a moral teaching, an anthropological teaching even, all the way down to religion. School couldn't do that, right? A school shouldn't tell children that it's wrong to commit murder or wrong to steal. A school shouldn't punish a student for stealing.

Or for smacking another student or for killing another student, because that would that would imply a moral teaching. And we're not making seminaries here. Elementary school is not supposed to be catechism. We don't want to have a state religion, do we? We can't have laws that have any reference to the moral law, can we? Well, no, that would imply a state religion. I mean, in a way, it does imply religion, but that's what all states have to do because that's what law is.

My only problem with this Texas proposal, it's not even a law yet. It's not even a vote. It's just an insinuation of support for this particular curriculum that sort of references the Bible. My only problem with it is it's far too modest, far too modest. You got to teach the Bible in schools. If a kid graduates from school, if a kid graduates from 12th grade, if a kid graduates from 8th grade, having not read the entire Bible or thereabouts,

The kid cannot claim to be educated. I'm not saying you got to profess your faith in Christianity to graduate high school. No one's suggesting that. But you don't know it. You're not familiar with the Bible. You don't know who Noah is. You don't know who Moses is. You cannot possibly call yourself an educated person at even a basic level if you are not thoroughly familiar with the Bible, no matter what religion you say you have. There's so much more to say first, though.

Speaking of the Utes, we have a Daily Wire exclusive story here, which is that there's a children's hospital in Philadelphia that leads the nation in so-called sex change procedures.

This hospital, I can't believe it's the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, I guess. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, or is it Pennsylvania? Well, it's one of the two. It doesn't matter because the letter would be the same. The hospital is known as CHOP. The hospital that is devoted exclusively to the care of children, that has programs developed to help children to investigate their gender identity,

According to the advocacy group Do No Harm, leading the nation in offering, quote, life-altering sex-related interventions for minors, that hospital is called CHOP. It's really dark. It's really gruesome. I don't mean to make light of the fact that there are evil people trying to castrate children and successfully castrating children in America. But that's pretty wild, right? CHOP?

It reminds me of that Alexander Pope quote, all nature is but art unknown to thee, all chance direction which thou canst not see. That is a pretty heavy-handed little wink from Providence. It's called Chop, guys. Obviously, terribly evil needs to be done away with. This stuff needs to be banned. Probably this place needs to be shut down if they are castrating little kids.

And Republicans need to lead the charge on this. I made this point yesterday. We talked to Nancy Mace, a member of Congress who has a spine. In our age of people missing anatomical features, this woman has a spine. She's leading the charge to say, hey, no, on Capitol Hill, we're not going to force women to use the bathroom with men. We're not going to allow the fantasies of disturbed men to overwhelm the legitimate rights of women.

I said, as a matter of justice, the Republicans need to take up this charge. But also as a matter of politics, this is an easy, this is a winner. This is the issue that flipped Virginia red for Glenn Youngkin. This is the issue that helped Ron DeSantis win a massive reelection in Florida. This is one of the big issues that propelled Trump. They got a lot of Democrats, center left people to come over, say, you know, look, I'm a lifelong Democrat, but I just think pretending that little boys are little girls, castrating little kids, that's too much for me.

I know multiple people who said, they say, look, I'm still a liberal. I'm a Democrat, but this is too much. And I say, look, I'm not a liberal. I'm not a leftist. I'm not a Democrat, but I'm happy to have your votes. You're right. Your party's going so insane. You should come on over. This sort of thing, every Republican in the country should be jumping on shutting this down as a matter of justice. Sure. But even if the Republicans can't muster courage or moral clarity, this is shooting fish in a barrel, guys. This is going to be your easiest, most popular political move to date.

If I can't convince you to do it as a matter of right and wrong, at the very least do it as a matter of political expediency. You will be applauded for it. You will win more votes. And coincidentally, you'll be doing the right thing. Speaking of easy pickings for Republicans, there's a Democrat member of Congress with whom I was previously unfamiliar, this woman Jasmine Crockett, who just went on a viral invective against white men.

is because you can then misuse words like oppression. There has been no oppression for the white man in this country. You tell me which white men were dragged out of their homes. You tell me which one of them got dragged all the way across an ocean and told that you are going to go at work. We are going to steal your wives. We are going to rape your wives. That didn't happen. That is oppression.

We didn't ask to be here. We're not the same migrants that y'all constantly come up against. We didn't run away from home. We were stolen. So yeah, we are going to sit here and be offended when you want to sit here and act like and don't let it escape you. That it is white men on this side of the aisle telling us people of color on this side of the aisle that y'all are the ones being oppressed, that y'all are the ones that are being harmed.

This woman, don't you see, is being oppressed. This woman, sitting in Congress, and she's sitting in her seat in the U.S. Congress that she holds, she is very oppressed. She's sitting there in what appear to be Chanel earrings.

Because of her oppression, you know. I don't know. I don't know. Do they... I know Chanel clothing and accessories are expensive, but can you pay for them in oppression? Maybe that's what this woman did. This woman sitting here in her perfectly nice looking clothing with her ridiculously long nails that she... Apparently she can afford manicures. Apparently she has the luxury and the leisure time for all sorts of cosmetic prunings and primpings.

This woman, very, very oppressed and wants to tell those white men, whoever want to criticize or complain about anything that they need to shut up. We didn't ask to come here. Lady, I certainly did not ask for you to be in Congress. You did ask to be in Congress. So you are you asked to be there at least. She sounds like an angsty teenager.

This sort of angsty teenager who says, I didn't ask to be born. I didn't ask to be here. Whining like an uneducated person, an immature person who does not have control over his or her own passions and emotions. So is lashing out against the white man who apparently white men are never victims of crimes. Apparently white men's wives are never raped. Apparently white men are never forced to do things they don't want to do. Those are her examples.

Apparently, I didn't know. I didn't know that. I'm pretty sure that isn't true, but that's what she claims. She is the true oppressed person, and those evil, dastardly white men need to shut their mouths and get out of politics. All right, lady, that's an interesting bet. We're going to see how this plays out for you. Elissa Slotkin, Democrat member of Congress.

has just gone viral for saying that part of the reason we lost this last, we being the Democrats in her case, lost this last election is because we played identity politics. We Democrats need to stop playing identity politics. And then this woman goes viral for invading against white men and playing the oppression Olympics. Okay, okay, let's see who's right. Is Alyssa Slotkin right? In this case, I think probably she is. She just won her race. Or is this, what's her name? Jasmine Crockett.

Democrats, I want you to run every ad about three things. About how much you love killing babies. They think that's their winning issue. Okay, how much you love killing babies. Run that ad. Be totally honest about it. How much you love castrating children. That's a good one. Run that ad. You believe it's so important to you. And how much you hate white men.

And recently, after the election, where one in five black guys and half of Hispanics just about voted for Trump, how racist the Hispanics are and how sexist the black guys are. That was the other Democrat conclusion from the election. Run those ads, too. Run those. You hate the white guys and now you hate the one in five black men and now you hate the Hispanics and now you want to castrate the kids and the ones that you don't kill. OK, fine. Run those ads.

Let's see how we're... I love it. Jasmine Crockett, I want her to be the leader of the DNC. Make that woman chairman of the DNC. Make her the minority leader in the House of Representatives for the Democrats. I love it. Sounds good to me. Some liberals are recognizing this stuff isn't really working. Some liberals are recognizing that it wasn't white supremacy that took down Kamala. It wasn't the patriarchy that took down Kamala. Democrats like Katie Couric talking to Jen Psaki, first press secretary for Joe Biden, admit, you know,

Maybe the problem was us. I also felt that, and again, I think she really did well in so many areas. But I was frustrated by her inability to really succinctly answer questions at times, Jen, and to kind of, like, if she was asked about changing the...

the Supreme Court at that CNN town hall. She had an opportunity to talk about ethics and what, you know, Alito and Clarence Thomas were doing. And she answered like in one sentence and then like went on to something that had nothing to do with the question. You know, people notice that and it's like, answer the question, please. I mean, there you have it. Answer the darn question, says Katie Couric.

But hold on. I was told the whole time that Kamala was a really good candidate. Kamala was really smart and educated and honest and articulate and direct. She was great. She was – I was told that. And previously, before Kamala was the nominee, I was told that Joe Biden was not senile. He was totally in command of his faculties. Morning Joe told me this was the best Joe Biden sharpest that we've ever seen him. What Katie Couric is admitting here and Jen Psaki nodding along, I think, is implicitly acknowledging is –

They lied about Kamala. They lied. The same people who three weeks ago told us Kamala is great. She is doing interviews. She is talking to the press. She is answering questions. She is transparent. They're admitting, yeah, we lied about that to you. We were just as frustrated as you were. Yeah, we knew she didn't answer the question. She didn't have answers. It was pathetic. She was bad at that. So in reckoning with the historic failure of the Kamala Harris candidacy, they have to admit they lied to you.

And this is just like Kamala lying about Joe Biden's incompetence. This is a reckoning for the media. It's no coincidence that Katie Couric is here. Katie Couric, a major TV journalist of the last three decades.

I'm just saying, yeah, I mean, she's obviously a Democrat activist. She has engaged in some dubious journalistic practices, let's say, over the years, a little selective editing and things that are pretty sus, though now pretty typical even of the news networks, NBC, CBS. CBS did it while they were chopping up and re-editing the Kamala Harris 60 Minutes interview to make her look better. And they're admitting, you know, that didn't, we tried to cover for her, but maybe we shouldn't have. Maybe we should have just forced her to answer. Maybe we should have done our jobs and maybe she would have done better.

Or maybe not, at least though then, even if she wouldn't have done any better, the media would still have some credibility instead of totally collapsing. CNN's ratings collapsing, MSNBC possibly up on the chopping block. The New York Times, Washington Post admitting this was the podcast election. The podcasters have much more influence. We'll try to kick them off YouTube, but if that doesn't work, they're going to eat our lunch. They knew, they knew. The media are being forced to reckon with their own lies, including in real time. Because the new line that you're hearing is that

Trump's nominees are totally unqualified. Trump's nominees for his cabinet are not only unqualified, but some of them are even criminals. And they're especially going after Matt Gaetz in this regard. And now the media, because the political order has shifted...

They're having to own up to the lies that they're telling in real time. We just saw this on The View. We'll get to it in one second. If Michael Knowles is good for anything, it's Mayflower cigars. The best word in a parent's lexicon for both the parent and the child is the word no. The same applies to issues such as this. I don't even know what specific issue that's referencing, but I've said that for years. In fact, this was part of the thesis of my book Speechless, which is that conservatives need to learn, thank you, a beautiful word, no. Look, sometimes the parent doesn't want to say no. You want to just keep your kid happy, but you have to be able to say no. No, Democrats. No, you don't get to flood the country with foreigners. No. No.

No Democrats. You don't get to castrate the kids. No. And we don't need to have a long, complex, nuanced discussion. We don't have to meet in the middle. Look, you want to castrate the kids. I don't want to castrate the kids. We'll just we'll just remove some of their genitals. No, we don't. You don't need to compromise on that. You want to flood the country with foreigners and contravention of our law. We want to enforce our law. And so, look, we'll only bring in five million illegals. No, you could just say no.

simple as, Ronald Reagan had a good line on this. He said, illegal immigration is illegal. It's that simple. It's wrong to castrate kids. You don't need to always have a big compromise, nuanced conciliate. I'm as happy to compromise on issues that are open to that. Okay, we'll argue over taxes and maybe we'll meet in the middle somewhere. On stuff like this though, just say no. Sometimes you got to tell the petulant little child no. It's better for the household and it is better for the child.

The liberals, especially in the media, are having to come to grips with their own perfidy, with their own insidiousness. This we saw in The View yesterday when after The View has been ranting and raving about Matt Gaetz, President Trump's pick for attorney general, the lawyers made them issue this disclaimer. On screen. Sonny, you have a legal note. I do have a legal note. Thank you, Whoopi.

Matt Gaetz has long denied all allegations, calling the claims, quote, invented and saying in a statement to ABC News that this false smear following a three year criminal investigation should be viewed with great skepticism that DOJ investigation was closed with no charges being brought. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. You see Sonny Hostin either sincerely or performatively showing her rage that she has to read this legal disclaimer.

Why does she have to read the legal disclaimer? Because she knows that The View is defaming Matt Gaetz. If The View comes out and says, he's a sex criminal, he's a this, he's a that. And why? Well, they open it with the, they kind of bury the lead. They open it to say, Matt Gaetz denies the allegations. Yeah, we don't believe Matt Gaetz. We hate that guy. He's a total jerk. Oh, we hate Matt Gaetz. And also, the DOJ investigated him for years and did not pursue any charges.

In other words, they effectively cleared him of those charges. The same DOJ that we are told by The View is independent and above political considerations and is just merely enforcing the law like Lady Justice with a blindfold on. The DOJ that is currently run by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris cleared Matt Gaetz for all intents and purposes. And then she says, all right, so that's my disclaimer. And then they cut to commercial because they have nothing to say about that.

If I read a disclaimer on some controversial issue, you know, if lawyers made, I'm not saying they did, but let's say lawyers made me stop talking about how in the 2020 election, the Pennsylvania state constitution prohibits widespread indiscriminate mail-in ballots. And yet the election officials and the Democrats sent them out anyway in contravention of the state constitution.

If I brought up this kind of odd circumstance, it would seem unconstitutional circumstance. Maybe some lawyer would make me say, but, you know, the Supreme Court has ruled that it's okay to violate the Constitution or whatever. I would read that disclaimer if I were required to do so, but then I would comment on it. I would explain why I disagree with that interpretation of the law and why my view was obviously correct. But here, the view can't do that because they really have nothing.

So the best they can do, the best the press can do, this is a masterclass, is eat crow and move on. That's the best they can do. I don't think we should really let them move on because I think they've so decimated their credibility that there need to be real consequences. Like, for instance, tearing up the White House press room seating chart, which there has been some rumor actually will happen to bring in the new media voices and the podcasters and the streamers that even the establishment media are admitting run the show today. We'll see what happens.

Now, some Democrat politicians, even beyond the media, are being forced to own up to their lies. Here's one. I really like this from Hakeem Jeffries, the Democrat leader in the House of Representatives, soon to be the minority leader of the House of Representatives. I'm sorry, he is currently the minority leader. Republicans even presently have a slim majority, but he will remain the minority leader in the next Congress. Hakeem Jeffries says,

was asked by NBC on Meet the Press if he would agree with the widespread Democrat media, but I repeat myself, characterization of Trump's DNI pick, Director of National Intelligence pick, Tulsa Yabard, as a Russian asset. Here's what he says. Leader Jeffries, you're not willing to say she's a Russian asset. No, that's not how I would characterize her at that

this particular juncture, but I'm open to scrutinizing whatever information is presented to all of us. But this is going to fall on Senate Democrats and Senate Republicans. No, that's not how I would characterize her at this particular juncture. So he's saying I really want to characterize her this way, but I would not do that right now.

Why? Where did this even come from? I love that this is even a question that the media can ask, because what's it based on? It's based on a baseless accusation from Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton launched this defamatory campaign against Tulsi Gabbard back in 2020. She said, she insinuated, and then a spokesman confirmed, she said that Tulsi Gabbard was the favorite of the Russians, and they were propping her up, and she's effectively a Russian asset. And the Democrats have run with this since then.

Now, Hakeem Jeffries knows, you know, I'm not going to go there. Why not? I don't even think it's just because it's defamatory, because it's difficult to be held liable for defaming public figures in America. It's not true in every country, but in America it is. I think it's because Hakeem Jeffries is a pretty smart politician, and he realizes that to call Tulsi Gabbard a Russian stooge at this point is to call the voters Russian stooges, because Tulsi was out there on the campaign trail with Trump.

regularly. It's not as though Tulsi hid her hand. And then when Trump won, she said, I support him and now he's going to put me in some position. She was campaigning with him. She was part of the deal in electing Trump. She was very, very public. She switched parties for this. And people voted in part for her. They voted in part for Bobby Kennedy. They voted in part for Elon Musk. They voted in part for Howard Lutnick. They voted in part for the prominent figures on the campaign. And that includes Tulsi.

Vivek, J.D. Vance, and Tulsi. So what Hakeem is realizing, because the Democrats lost the popular vote, because they lost one in five black guys, because they lost 46% of Hispanics, because they lost 40% of women under the age of 30, he's realizing, yikes,

I can't pull the principal Skinner here. I can't say, you know, am I out of touch? No, it's the children who must be wrong. I can't say it must be the voters who are wrong. I can't say the voters are stooges for the Russians. It's especially ironic because the Democrats were legitimately stooges for the Russians for most of the 20th century. They were carrying water for Stalin. The New York Times, you know, lying about Stalin, defending him, you know, the American left broadly defending the Soviet Union.

And so many communist dictators. So it's kind of rich now that they're calling us the Russian stooges. But in any case, they realize, hmm, hi, I'm the problem. Maybe it's me. Now, there was a display on Piers Morgan's show, one of the great political TV shows. The man knows TV better than just about anyone. There was a great debate that I think summed up our political order. It just came out. It's going viral.

Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks and Alan Lichtman. Alan Lichtman is the political scientist who has these keys. And his claim to fame is that he's accurately predicted all of the recent presidential elections, with the exception of the 2000 election, which was contested. But he says he really got that one right and things got screwed up later. So he claims to have basically a perfect score. And yet his prediction is,

was proven wrong in 2024. He thought Kamala was going to win. And so there was a debate between Cenk and Alan Lichtman on Piers Morgan's show that totally sums up our current political order. You don't know anything. You attacked me personally. You're so deluded. Oh, right. I've only been a professor for 51 years. On this program, I've never been able to finish a thought. How many books have you published? No, because you're personally attacking me again.

Say whatever you want, but I'm not going to stand for personal attacks. Okay, but brother, you got it wrong. Say whatever you want. You were preposterously and stupidly wrong. So, okay, all right, can I just finish a guy's thought ever on this show? No, not if you're personally... Well, you proved it. I admitted I was wrong. I don't need you to call me stupid.

You deserve a tall glass of shut up juice. So can you just shut up for a second and let someone who knows what they're doing? You're so right. You're so right. So I will not sit here and sell for personal attacks for blasphemy against me. You don't need to do that. You don't blasphemy against you. Are you Jesus Christ? You loser. OK, sums it all up.

There's a pundit versus a political scientist. And the pundit, Cenk Uygur, is exemplifying how obnoxious and degraded and immature and pointless so much modern political commentary is. There are few people who offer less value in political commentary than Cenk Uygur. So obnoxious, so disrespectful, so just grating to listen to.

And then on the other side, you have the political scientist, who I sympathize with more here, Alan Lichtman, who at least is attempting to act like a gentleman. But then at the end there, he says, you are blaspheming against me. Blasphemy is to speak against God. He's claiming, and it seems to me, maybe it was, he just doesn't know the meaning of the word. It might have been a Freudian slip where you say one thing and mean your mother. Where he's saying, like so many scientists do, especially political scientists, they say,

I am God. I know the rules of the universe. My rules cannot be violated. My model with the keys and the predictions has to be correct. To criticize me, to contradict me is to blaspheme. That is our political order. And so both sides completely wrong. The scientistic view of the world, totally wrong. The obnoxious, degraded leftist view, wrong and unpleasant. This is it. This is our political order. And this is together what the voters rejected. Okay.
