The joe rogan experience.

I like the one year festival. Lot of guys do .

help my hearing. It's waiting, old age.

Do you have fucked up here because the color hours of fuck up bear hearing?

Yeah, just one of them. I thought that was cool until the started to slow, and I was messed with my hearing. And yeah, I like, that's not cold anymore.

Did you get IT fixed?

I just fed IT at the woman i'm talking to. Did you get a fixed to all eventually drained out? But as good as it's gonna get.

I think yeah I I always wore ear guards. I was always scared to the ears cause IT just there is a design like IT helps .

cap you are sound and bring IT any year. I didn't know the airports would come on yeah you to .

wear over the years. So let's talk about your .

tournament, right?

What did where this come from first? All because you competed to be. This is what I don't understand. You, you, you're gonna go head to head with A D, C, C, which is the biggest grappling organza, by way, rides built up there to look good.

Rh, I might do that. I with me, I got a money to buy IT. Well, I mean, what stated IT, well, obviously you can win a, totally put your tournament on. You can win and probably lose anyway. I mean, really, for the growth of the sport against some beef involves some two pack bigger dg henric energy to this, but really to compensate the athletes will and to raise some money .

for charity along the way.

And who's funding this thing? That's one of those things. You know you gail takes a trip to the u SHE.

Comes back to the handbag, brought dollars in cash, which i've never seen before. I've never seen a million dollars in one place. I've never been a million dollars check. Yeah, I guess .

tip IT out.

sure. We don't. Ladies and gentle man, that is one million dollars in cash.

That is so ridiculous. Look at that. That's so crazy.

Wow, whoever is run of this really trust you. Those are loose. They are different. Like, that is just kind.

Find a look around here. You know, have, wait too much faith in me. Yeah.

a lot of faith you.

I mean, this was the process. I had the idea that i'll bring a prop million dollars on your organ, but people I was thinking then, ready, don't believe the money. So put out a prop million and you like a that's fake money, then I might come autonomous, fuck. So we had the source of that to do some bad things for that.

So how's one even get a million dollars out of a bank that's got to be a pask?

yes. So my body that help me out with this bicycle is mani said, I need a million dollars. On thursday, they said, you, that takes two to three weeks and he's like, give me a million on thursday or i'll find a bank that can. And I mean, that put the energy in him to get in.

Here we are. So what does this guy do that he has always looked.

I really don't anna say i'm going to keep IT all directed I made it's all above board legal, you know, I am, but was thought of keeping a mysterious I want any negative vantage towards its tonne ent come in my direction, not the anonymous sugar dating in the background.

okay. So you don't want to say like what the businesses are. Does the business profit off of this at all? Does this benefit the business to do this? I mean.

we're running as a non profit. So like obvious ly for people want to support the support of ito, like we're going to donate. I see all the ticket sales of this event towards different charities. So we really want to do this is a known profit because my thought were if judici doesn't make a profit.

we might make an on profit. OK well does just to make no profit like uber by doesn't turn a profit, right? That is done primarily because of the shakes a love of this world like yeah .

it's like a passion project. But I mean, sort of my problem with the lightest event is like where selling so many tickets and they their event is in t mobile. T mobile super expensive, as far as I know. Remember, the event organize supposed to the amount they pay for the mob. And I was basically two of these.

So I just to rent out the venue.

just to rent out.

And then the Thomas.

yes. So the previous of ember they were at Thomas max. I just I want to check how much Thomas a man cost and IT was a lot cheap.

Er so why you were really doing this? Because the prize money has been the same for so long. A lot of events don't pay a lot of money, but obvious ly edc c biggest right? And this sells a lot of tickets cells. But really, they made a lateral move in the venue that didn't really grow much in the way of seeing. And none of that money really.

how much is Thomas?

I think we will have about seven thousand seeds .

for this one in t bombs at eighteen.

I think eighteen, yeah. So not not massive difference. And really a dcc prize money stayed the same. So their prize money, you have to win four matches to get ten k not that i'd know because I could never fuck in winter, but we're going to pay we're going to do two divisions to pay one hundred times out amount .

of money to the division is so ten k is the winner of a cc.

and we're going to pay ten thousand and one dollars .

to show up ten thousand .

one that's for. So anybody who .

compete IT gets ten thousand hours really. So even if you just get smoked.

yeah I mean, i'm thinking of the the other guys like me in these tonnes that don't make the final completion, everyone, you know.

well, that is nice. But A D, C, C is never made money, right? So for them, raising the money would just be losing more money.

Yeah, I mean, I mean, if if you could sell even thousand states on a man, if you could sell streaming rights to an event, I feel like some of that should go back towards athletes rather than just spending at all on production. Like I get a lot of people talk about the cost of production is important to grow a sport, but I really feel like at least athi compensation should go up a little bit, you know, like inside of the ticket out somebody that should go back .

towards the athletes, even if the ADC c is not making any money at all.

But in terms of they do make money, but it's where they spend that they choose to spend their own production rather than the athletes.

They right, but it's not profitable like as in terms of the the org organization itself is not really profitable. I don't .

believe I would imagine if they chose Thomas mac with the streaming rights in the cost of the venue like theyve spent on team obble, for sure they would have made a profit of this event. You could get tail production cost down like it's not to be that crazy if you choose the right, then my opinion is grappling amazing, but I don't think we're ready for team. That's that's a massive expensive money.

right? Well, the Thomas a mac was very impressive last year. IT was very impressive. The the whole overall production and just the scope of IT and the the the not of fans that came out to watch A D, C, C. He was pretty impressive.

Guys, yeah, i've never competed. Front people was awesome. Is awesome. Spect, that was basic. My opinion is like while we making a latter move, in my opinion, when we could still keep the same venue.

So what was the idea about going head to head with A D, C, C, if you want to grow the sport, wouldn't be Better to do IT in an alternative weekend. That way, the people that competed A D, C, you can also compete your event. Well.

we kind of, I mean, india. I obviously thleep can't do both, but in times of for the fans, the fans will be able to go out on friday, saturday, still see A D, C, C on sunday. But in terms to do into the same weekend where, I mean, we're really try to make a stand that like the athletes can unify in this sense and we can get compensated Better because again, I mean, not the athletes care where we can pay, you know.

I mean, like we won't make IT well, as the sport grows rapping, grown obvious. You thinks the people like you, you've Brown IT up. Whether you shout us out, our followers go up. So I mean, the events are getting more izon IT. People are, uh, more ticket sales, like we should get at least some token gesture of a payment increase.

I think the best case scenario out of this is that a cc does wrap IT up and that the sport does get more eyeballs because people are aware of this huge reason, pay and then over. I always feel like competition is good. I just don't necessarily like the idea of going head to head because I feel like IT just kind of messes with the athletes because, you know, get puts in a situation where they have to choose, first of all, between A D, C, C and the crack zone invitation. And if they do that, A D, C, C is gonna probably hold the garage.

And hopefully not well.

hopefully they but but likely they will. I mean, IT doesn't IT make sense that they would. I mean, if you're kind of crippling their organization by taking the elite guys and often the potential for lic, how many people are gonna jump shit.

do you know? I mean, who we've got confirmed already, we've got the on Davis past champion. The tack of brothers were the first two we've got nicky ryan, i'm going to announce that niki roads jump in across.

We're got lucro code in that we threw women because he's just he's honestly pretty impressive to tap me out and the gym's life fuck will throw him in. In terms of the other, we got jose ve chain. So I mean, a lot of people are going to make the move.

And what's interesting to me, I can't say any names of particular about a lot of the old legends. Obvious ly want to be a part of this event. I think they believe I want to support the cause, you know, I mean, and you say make the athletes make a choice, I mean, really that should be, I want to make the choice. If there's an event with such a huge amount of prize money on display, you know, the argument is pressed, ge first prize money. And argument is the prize money said that becomes the most .

prestigious event. yeah. Does IT does rap up the prestige? But will this happen again? Is this a one time thing are you guys planning to do? And multiple ones of the we do.

We don't A D C C every two years, so most have to wait to we wanted do IT every year.

but that will be good. Then they'd be a year where it's not in competition.

We don't want to just kill another organization. And then I just disappear off into the sunset, maybe sneak a couple of million, but we wanted do what every year. The goal is really to raise money for charities and do some film projects around the world using judges, really helping out some of privilege ds himself.

that the the whole idea of using for charity beautiful. That's amazing. But is this guy willing to fork up this kind of elections, have a commitment to do this more than once?

I mean, basis, he says, if we do a good job at this one, you can do IT every year. He's super invested in support you did .

he loves and these guys just .

throw a loot way if you're on a lot of luti?

Thank good, good. That's a crazy thing to commit to though. I mean, even no matter how rich you are, if you're giving away three million dollars in prize money.

is that what that is?

I may have to go together.

We best go a budget of three million, and we decided to give two point three million that to the athletes and the rest we're going to spend a production, obviously, are going to have sponsors come in. We're going to work with particular sponsors, but going again, the ticket sales that's going to chat.

And we're really allowing some of the athletes to choose, like if we have an influential grapple and stuff, we not really trying to leverage the money we have. We say, hey, if we get you on board, we're happy to doing at a percent of the tickets selves to a charity of your choice. So we given a bit of freedom and who they want to help.

Well, that's nice. And if this does go well, like what is what's saying? When you say go well, like what are the guide like what you try to achieve in terms of going well to do this again?

I mean, based on the investment and how much money we can raise for charity is really go if we can sell out thoma c and we that we can do this in a cost effective way, we can bring in more senses. Definitely gonna keep doing this every year.

I like I said, I think competition is always great. And I think just more eye balls and more people paying attention to IT is great for the sport. Obviously, i'd love judge zu. And I think, you know the athletes getting paid a million dollars to win first place is fantastic because, you know, we both know that most athletes don't make much money off of actual competition. The money that they do make, they usually make in seminars and only fans yeah you .

yeah that's a lot of underwear, I have to say you know .

only fans and what else uh, I guess dvds I mean, that's the number one.

Uh, remedy saw satelite will be instructions als but like again, it's like you can win. The biggest elements in the world doesn't necessarily translate to seminars, doesn't translate to instructions as the sad thing. It's like you hold certain events so high that you're like when I win that i'm gonna make IT. Then we some also like me that never won, but outsells IT dos you know a minutes like it's not your life, not said if you win one of these events, but if you win a million as a graph, you're pretty well set up, especially if you like a grap from a poor country, like a million U. S.

And brazil going to go a long, long way. And also it's it's just onna elevate the whole profile of the sport, just people knowing that a million dollars is going towards the first place. crafts. And then like has U, F, C fight pass, how a positive impact does that helped at all.

for sure? I mean, obviously IT helps so much like my dreams always taken on M A guys cloud, that the big names so obvious ously five, I help that happen. But I mean, touches put a lot of work to the philpots events, and those are very, very popular. I think that would be the pinna of sort of professional super fight events.

And what is like, like if you fight in U, F, C, fight pass. Like what is a big payday? U, F, C, fight pass.

I know somebody athletes might get, I don't know, know, I should say, tell you if I kill me but I mean, it's broad like I could go from ten to six, six figures really. And again, that's I mess the thing. When you compete for an event like a tournament, you might face four guys like for me persist. You might face for guys that I couldn't made much more money facing off in a super fight setting. So it's really like in terms of the investment, the commitment, the training, the time to prepare for potentially four opponents to win something like ten thousand dollars, if I just had four super fides, so much more .

money ouldn't get Better spend in camp anyway, just with nutrition supplements.

the damage, body SE, everything, everything you mean.

you're spending ten thousand hours anyway.

The pressure goes, you leave the valleys go, you push IT to the the red for a thing like dcc.

That is. The crazy thing about the sport is that studs are openly tolerated. It's probably the only elite ite professional sport where pretty early because of gordon, because gord's been so open about that, everyone knows that the athletes are on you.

what? I'm sponsible a local company could everytime. This is the sad thing, I hope people, hey, i'm on T, R, T, and i'm sponsored by them and no one believes me.

I like you, look so at to shape this. No, he's just joking and I not believe me. I'm taking service. I mean, sometimes yeah, I I honestly.

on the worst example of athlete.

I want to stretch into any recovery. I don't sleep.

You don't stretch at all.

I just go easy. The first round, I feel like them pushing on my legs hit my ability. I think if you get bad injury, that's a sign maybe done to hang up.

you know. So when you train, all you do is like, I A little .

little, but man, track anything? Nothing with that, really. Yeah, that's IT.

Do you ever wonder, like if you did like hire like a serious like strength conditioning coach and really get after that would make a difference in your performance?

Maybe, but I mean like I mean millions of line maybe, but it's your whole life.

I mean europe professional, just you guys.

I mean, I love the technique and the strategy aspect over you know like sometimes when I have lifted or take a more series unusual, it's like i'm not overly rely on my strength. What I love about you just lying and traps chicken people make IT people feel silly. That's the part I like, right, rather than I want to love jack just for me. Know if that.

But don't you think even with the laying traps and just overall your ability to move would be enhanced?

It's true. But if I mean, if I looked too jack, no one to buy the instructions as a black time I can do with that. guys. I've gotto look like a weather of man out there.

Wow, that's a crazy approach.

Got, we got another announcement here today, superfly, in grappling history. We signed that actually assigned this maybe in an year and a half ago.

So I got, no, yeah, boh the biggest super fighting grappling history really yeah.

you might be one of the biggest events in what is the .

biggest so far. So far. It's probably gorden .

and gobal terms and how to be sure yeah. But now IT talked the most decorated female actually, of all time. gb. Garcia has put pen to paper to face me on my own event. So we're talking ten, seven time world champion, four time at cc champion.

has been joking around about this forever. This is actually going to happen one hundred .

percent and happen we book that, we sign this contract earlier. So like, I mean, it's how to do a lot of things to get that done, you know, would have to do I to talk to gabby a lot. I had to give a background to dance with, I mean, this getting this done like she's like heavy once they produce, you know but i'll do IT for the fans but we got that books so I mean.

that's really good .

happen yeah she's six, four, two hundred hundred and fifty pound I don't know what is, I don't know what he was yeah, so i'll take her on wow. I feel good about everyone trying for all be playing in the stamp event, say, won't try, I will try that hard. Yes, i'm happy he is still that. So a long time we've been talking about this for you. This is marriage.

something I know. I was always thinking that I was just a joke.

and we have got to get her to the sexual tension somehow. You know, 嗯。

so we going to throw one way.

Yes, I mean this in the contract. I lose up to do some things. Oh no, maybe sell that on the only fans. But .

good luck, good luck. Um so when this all goes down, um are you going to streaming live and how you're going to do .

that free on youtube really? Yeah we want to put a free on youtube because we like everything I want to do about this event is to grow the sport. So like, do you see scorings confusing? It's hard to keep up.

Some events started to know their own scoring. And to be honest, I compete an events where I don't even know, you know, i'm just hoping for the best. But this one we gonna do for the lead up matches, the non final qualifying matches, three by five and around, and we're going to have the judges score according to the traditional judi. So, you know, like if you get a good position and maybe if there's a full point to grant.

see somebody like that, are you're using a specific rule set of you guys .

making your own make in our own one. We want to make IT make IT our own completely. So we want to take what you just guys already know.

So we have three judges used some sort of preexisting points system, understand? But we have the judges translate into a tempting my system so the ema fans will understand. So safe.

There's after around one, the guy have finishes on the other guys back the rest stops. We get up. We have a minute break. That's a strong position with school at ten eight and we will do open scoring. So you do guys are used to know on the score as the match progresses.

I don't like to surprises like in my might surprise at the end you just to guys, I don't want things to be too different. So we're basically keeping IT very similar to what they already understand. Wow, trying to introduce IT in A A way that's friendly to fans that you because fans that you know believe what the fox happened .

around tonight. I wish MMA had open scoring because IT would expose a lot of really bad scoring and you .

know we are at yeah because .

there are so many times where it's just not in the argument against IT, I think is silly because the argument against IT is that the person would coast if they ahead. But my feeling is that would make the person is behind really get after IT because they know they are behind, you know and then in fights where you know a guys ahead and the guys getting tooled up, that's already the case.

There's no like if like autism is fighting somebody and he just dominating the fight. We all know that. We all know that. And the only thing that could fuck him is a bad judge. Crazy just yeah and and we've seen that. We've seen like two scores that are like that, right? And then one score, one judges like, what the fuck was that I watching?

That's the way we're going to hire forever. That guy is going to be cheap.

Why the guys going to be dangerous? what? why? Ten eight? Like, I don't even like ten eight for m ma.

I think it's sucks. I mean, just for a way that we can grow, like we can have an easy to digest. I mean, I guess M, I may still pretty confusing, but we want M, M, A fan.

We want to steal M, M, A. Fans like that might be my whole st strategies. I'll take on guys in the USA because I know that drug test said and i'm not I don't be like and their famous, it's like a perfect match up.

But we want to do that because we want to steal their fans. And we are also changing. It's very funny, expensive actually, every judge to event based on an elevated stage or just on match. And we have this problem where there's all these weird resets like I have my full off the stage, the crash into the table that's so inspired by kari combat. We're going to do a rectangular match space with an Angel war because no is no way to run and we're going to call this rectangular basically ally based only has the back ally .

to angle wall a bit of a problem. I know I saw your matter with fill, bro. yeah.

And the angle wall, like all his fucked because you're just going to go down. It's not like a war, like a war. I don't like the cage. And emmy, i've said multiple times, I really think they should be fighting in a basketball court. Just make IT all matter up.

Have a long red line. So we heard the bus ball call, but we threw some angles on the end. Well, punish es them.

We want to punish. Guys were back king up OK. So like, again, let you sit with the case.

They back up, but they remain vertical. And guys, so like, you can use that angle and not get taken. But if you back up, if you're running away, we want you to be detrimental to you.

Well, not having any referee interruption. So if if I am like you said, I see on on the first and ten, eight on coasting on back and up, that guy can chase me. There's no where I can go and fight back up the menu.

I wanted ask you a specific question about the film fight. He posted his arms down to, like against the the angle. And I was like, well, you kind of fucked if you're doing that and then you throw up the triangle and you trapped them yeah but like, did you train for that? Like, so this is this is the setup and this is an incorrect combat, which is, by way, in Austin in this thursday. I want to go check that out. So like this like when he posted his ARM down, like oh no.

that's honestly he's the funny thing about IT is a as the promoter says, he goes, well, we're going to sell the Angel wall for grappling. He's like, can you try to submit them off the one I like? I will do that. But I was like, I was like.

I got my plans.

asked you to said that be cool if I could do IT. And then after wards, did you plan? I mean, anytime someone post a hand on the ground and we have an overhot k and we can put weight on that hand, they can't lift IT off the ground so we can shoot a triangle pretty easy. Well, as soon as I saw him, i've got to overhaul. Y, we've got the russian tire.

As soon as I see him put that right on the floor, I was like, we can do something flying and and I saw because of the angle, you can be a bit more brave, you know, like it's not it's not a sharp of fool, right? Like i'm study to Operation we do in fly and shape. You threw an angle and i'll give you a crack.

Well, especially with everything pat up like that in the walls.

Yeah, but mean, feel we laugh him before this match. Like, would you have had a couple beers before this? That is going to have a good time.

You had a couple of beers before, said he was going to drink to kila shot out the match but then I say, what p and then we went out then I didn't even know the time of the matches. There was eight minutes and the guys that got twelve minute match of fuck, and then his coach started corner in serious. So what if I got myself into way so that give you a cross that we're gna have fun play around a bit? But he was.

he was ready to go. You really had a couple of bears.

Yeah, I do do sometimes do really I get you. Yeah.

does the fuck with you your performance at all?

You know, I never know what helps my performance or makes a worse. You know, I never have. I think what I do a long training camp. Sometimes I think every day put pressure on myself, but like I finished that match and because I hit a flying thing, we just got, have that i'll celebrate and then the next I have to face love out in next week I thought, what have I done? But so it's like sometimes, I guess, the john jone's approach, you know, haven't some found the way before.

takes the edge off, relaxes me. Elliot does that too, with the drunk on thursday night and on friday. I don't like .

what he did to my mom, but I respect the drinking of the wine.

Yeah, that fight I wanted to talk about that too. I wanted to talk about just a volcanic fight in training him in general. Like did you try did you try in any way to discourage him from taking the market to fight on ten day's noas?

Now I mean, i'm not involved in that process at all. You know, like I got the call that I was happening, like he called me and I I was jet like to the time I just got to austen for a day and I get to call for m from vox. He's like, I think I have macky have booked in two eggs and I was like, fucking tell me, I just book the next flight and I was going to explain the end. As more involved in the match making decision process at all.

Did we you apprehensive about him taking that fight on such short notice?

I mean, I wouldn't say apprehension. I like I believing him fully. I knew I would be a very difficult Allene. I didn't know what sort of shapes was in at the time.

I didn't seem for a while, but like, I believe in him that he can do IT and it's like i'm going to just do everything I can to get him ready for that moment and yeah, I mean, that is the risk of the game, you know especially you take a short night test file like that had he had been training at all, I honestly don't know. I don't think like he wasn't in the same shapes he was for the previous macchia, the previous maceo. I was down in wollongong with his team freestyle for like six, eight weeks helping prepare for that one. But I mean this one, yeah, such a notice. Well.

that made IT such a huge difference. The six to eight weeks, just the fact that he was able to survive on the ground where he was. And not just that, but just not just survived, but be completely safe. He was never even close to being threatened with a submission, you know, on the fact that he was like laughing and off and punching them from behind them.

It's crazy. Yeah I mean, I can't take too much great for that. The guy just yeah the monday.

So how to help them, even for me to hold them I don't get IT on my fuck. You want forty five? This shouldn't be the case. Yes, the rugby energy but .

also he's to wait two thousand and fourteen pounds and you still get those fuck intended from being a big gorilla.

That's yeah the rugby days. That's crazy ah I made trains when I trained IT is in one of the rugby plays come in actually just walking around around with him and put me at up and I was stuck because I fuck thank these guys make real money in other sport to deal .

this shit yeah it's a hard fuck. And sport man is a hard sport that americans don't necessarily appreciate. They don't understand like those are guys that could compete in the nfl.

They and said they're playing rug because they live in a different country. But it's when volcano sky fought the first time, and he was perfectly prepared. IT was an amazing fight.

I thought you one, I thought I was very close, but I thought you one I gave that. I think round two was the difference, and I could see round to go on either way. But I gave a devote, but I was like when when they announced IT the rematch, part of me was like, oh, that's a great fight.

But the other party I was like, e, this is the number one, in my opinion. This is the fight for number one, pound for pound, right? I believe voc won the first fight, although very close, it's not only is a robbery but its very close and I think that puts him as the number one powerful pound fighter in the world.

And then he loses the fight to islam because cop with that headache and then he gets knocked up by to poor. Now he's not even the conversation anymore. So this is a short amount of time, you know.

And then everything kind of falls apart. And I think IT wouldn't fall apart if not for the rematch. IT wasn't for the reif.

You just waited for top oria. I think I got to think that head kick has a factor. Mean, to get brain like that with a shin to the dome, which is the first way to get knocked out.

You know, it's so much power and legs. My legs are you Carrying? Legs are Carrying your body around all day. I don't think people that have never been kicked understand how much more .

power is in a leg.

Yeah, I wouldn't know. You get head kicked like that and then you fight the a guy who's obviously the most dangerous box are in the division in the next five and what I mean.

yeah, it's crazy. I don't know the if I had a couple concussions from grappling like accidents but lazy but I don't know really the effects of that. It's so hard to judge like it's like I don't know what testing they can do, but it's like .

they can do much. Unfortunately, they do. They are some test. But the reality is every time you get knocked out, it's easier for that person get get out again. And psychology.

I think for the opponents, like for me coaching folks, like there were matches well, like even with the fights when, like, say what I get him in the sub and it's when he keeps doing these impossible things. You believe in the myth of yoga more and more, how the fighters do to they go. Could not, we could not submit him.

Look at the people, unstoppable.

But I think when a guy gets clip like everyone guys, they simply a IT more self belief. So I think, yes, it's like two factors. Yeah, I think .

you're probably right. But I think tupi A I thought he was going to do that to him anyway, but I just loved have seen him fully recover from that. Like when many package out got knocked out by markets, pretty roach wouldn't let him do anything for a year is like you're going to take one year off.

He's like this is the only way you have to in front road you as trauma induced parkinsons from his boxing career, he's well aware of the impact of brain damage and. You know it's it's so trick because i'm just such a huge vote fan. I just look, I wish I had is here I don't know if you would listen to me, but if I add is here I think .

that's what makes us guys special. Those, it's the self belief.

one hundred percent. That's what makes you a champion. You cannot become a voco sky without this unstoppable belief in yourself.

Being in him at the complete opposite, someone was like, you pretty going to lose some. You make a good point. My family, I me, you know where complete opposite and every he takes everything super serious, sporting everything. I don't know how we've blended together my body to coaches somehow.

Well, you're very technical. I mean, the thing about your you know joking around and being silly about at all is like you are, but your technique is very, very good. Obviously you you are always ously of one of the elite guys in the world when IT comes to technique. So it's not you are serious.

I mean personality type, you know yes, but I guess we have the australian australian bond. He has faith and may more faith in me than the guy that give me this something both both shouldn't know.

What is woke up to now do you toilet .

and training a bank house with these? So folks, resin coach Frank knight, they have a gym in thailand, banged against work in, I wanna get him a graphing match I said to in my said man, like were going to take some time away because the concussions, let's get you a grappling match and I thought was how like cool would a bit to see him and or tag out a graph match oh my god, I i've incredible I would just love to see you in that setting because struggle and lets see what happens too yeah.

that would be very interesting or take is very good on the ground. He's very sneaky too.

Yeah yeah. He's super like, hey, he catches some crazy should know every using a file like two, three rounds get one look at a not .

in his guilty is fuck and death I mean, we're walking also got out of that the mountain getting his face look like a grape and just would not tap.

not tap. I had no idea how we got up, but I told everyone was like, obviously that's me by the David support he's covering coach. I take good of of that.

He's an animal. Ninety nine point nine percent of the world will adapt.

He's like that in the gym, I choking in the gym sometimes and he'll go from putting his chin in to taking IT out as your grips in that like you try and switch her from like I guess like the front shock to to the blood as you just changes how you chocolate and can survive down that wow, I don't know. He does. He should teach me that.

should I think? Just brain.

yeah. Too tough.

yeah. And he fucked in animal. And so does he have a plan to come back, does he?

I don't. I don't know what's going on. I imagine it's probably hollow way of a system A I think that's gonna en.

And then I think I hope post we get also grap and match, maybe we get him at this event. I'm hoping we get him. We get some matter. My guys at this .

event is you think you doing something like that has have a whole lot of time, right? When is this?

This is sixteen, seventeen. And yes, and no much time. But I mean, if he's in shape, you train is out bank town, thailand, get some rounds. I think it's fine, especially as omega. They both have the same top of training units like taking on a pure grapple that's ny grappling.

So do you have a budget to do something to do super fights as well? actually?

yes. So we're going to start taking sponsors to try and get more super fights. And i'm in talks with some legends of the game right now. Let some guys that you'd be shocked. I hit me. I went any names potential i'll tell you one of them has a mexico and sound of last time but i'll told you about that of yeah OK yeah one yeah all the legend is they want so many people to come out of its oma for this and they just know like especially when I explain the rules, explain that it's in that at least like the sunken floor, like that format, obviously. Hey, brother, what's going on on?

Yeah, I think people going to be shocked at how good luck ccd is.

yeah. Hey, man, he's so tough.

He's very good on the ground. I remember when he got wide men down and mounted in a wide man could not get up. I was like, this is his ground game is very undated and because he's just known as an MMA guy he's going to come trained with.

he's going to come to bathing five weeks, going to with us for this events or what him a kill each other every day. I'll love the worst I said.

wow yeah um I always wondered how he would have done if he had gone straight grappling because the people that I know that train with them said, dude, I think he could have competed with the best in the world as a grapple just as a rapper yeah I mean.

he look at the guys he's training with gaby and island came, alas, as like they say, all those guys is like people think it's like an amazing isolation. Like those skills won translate this translate especially .

with athletes like that, a grappling dominated camp he's .

going to surprise. And people I keep laughing about is like it's a million dollars for first place, ten thousand. The second place i'm like, who's tapping right for a million? yeah. No, I think what we're gona do haven't finalized this yet. But I think if you're in a submission in the round ends, we keep on get out of submission.

Well, this been so many times where guys were almost submitted where you think.

yeah, this guy let out of that body to do the thing you know, look at, I don't get any money out of that.

How I was, his ARM fucked up after that. That ARM bar was so tight. Well.

that was the funny thing.

right, is that was ebi. What's the prize of ebi?

Well, he had had some. If I had submitted him, I would won fifty k. And I think he had only had two submissions in regulation.

So he was even my ten case. I like, we could have made a business still there, very like, just let IT go. But man, his own popped on the day.

So that was fine. Next week I shop. We both campaigning in another event again, and there was like three, four locker rooms. And I would just travel by myself. I won't have a coach. I just post an instagram story who can point me for this event like against god had Daniel a bus and he was said, intent plan itself to me and I didn't even know what language he was speaking in the corner that so I was fused, yeah, do these things like what's happened? And I shot to this next event, A K grappling in new york. And of all the lockers, I throw him in there with the got and i'm just this a bit weird like had this guy on by last week then he choked me and now it's just me in a lucky ing with the most very all good but then barks and came in the .

train the next week and you were with them for a long time. You were with them for, like what? Five years .

with dana? Two years.

two years. So so when they start before porter recall.

yes, I lived in new york for all, I mean that my memory is hazy. But we did porter. We survive porter of the six months.

And before that was, I would come and go from new york. I buy with the time to an obvious. But if things get weird out there on the jungle, you know, yeah, that is, well, everyone's .

confuses to what happened with you guys. That's what like there's no real version of the truth.

We got a book deal, got a movie deal, that story to the bitter.

you have a book of.

i'm check back good the story and .

off you what what happen? What do you guys?

And there's so many things we really can't discuss you know um a lot a lot of problems obviously a lot of problem obvious ly two brothers built up was gna be some serious issues um but yeah it's not really my place to say but hopefully one day IT comes out I think that would be a interesting story who you know is this year might kick things off and might be well about three again.

So when you laugh like how did you leave to start your own place when you got started, b team was at the plan along.

Now I honestly never even to the already the guys like at dana hurs that I was like, i'm gna this with my last I D to see. And then I didn't want to travel around, see the world, visit interesting destinations, teach seminars like a flic, already built a brands. But then when the teams fled, I felt like I thought I wanted to help him kick start something.

So we came here. We started the b team. I've been with the beat, the beating, two, three years, although this too much anymore. You know, I help kick starter a, we got the gym. The guys have a, you know, so like, I like travelling around.

So are you basically say, I retired for sure?

Yeah, for sure. I mean, obviously, when you put on like if you put on an event, the pieces of every other promotion, the sports gonna abbe hard to get matches in the future. So I probably can pave my own show. And that's that's the plan. We want to keep doing these shows.

Well, I think you're gonna pissed off A D, C, C, for sure, by going head to head with them. But I don't think you would pissed off fight pass or number one, do you think well.

I mean, if whoever streaming idc sees is obvious ly not gonna be not going to be happy as a more competition. But again, I still think long term this story is gna grow the sport. It's it's an interesting story.

It's fine. Let's let's see what happens. You want to be the best event ever or the fire festival and hope .

for the the former the fire festival. Are you? Are you besides the gabby gar?

See a thing, which is you? No disrespect, kind of a gimigliano. Yeah um are you done competing? Oh, we do another match that's .

gab gabbi be one day. If someone's down, i'll do the match on the other day as well. We will see but want to leave IT I am talking to some crazy big names and i'm like men, we can put that together like i'm going to try and save some space. But like. I would do you have to .

run this thing I wish to tell me of those times on the air.

It's everyone you could also think of i'll as a potential match up that i'm working on that insane with crazy forever. Really crazy.

yeah. Want to tell me now.

cut IT out. Yeah, can do.

I'm going a holy shit. Sorry, folks. You can't know that that would be insane.

That would be insane. wow. Is a the former. Is he training?

Training yet? People said many feels good to be like, obviously crazy.

inspiring story. I love IT. Ww, yeah, that's insane. That's insein to, you know. And then it's like abedi, for a lot of people, is the olympics of grappling. And one of the things is it's every two years. And then I remember when john jack, a one aodong I had just started. I think this is like, what year was this when he started training, when he fought nobel doby early .

two thousand.

and I met two thousand, yeah, I think I was like a blue belt at the time. And when john jock went over, there were just so proud that he went over there. He he had this advantage over a lot of the guy guys and that he only has one hand.

And so he never relied on grabbing colors. Everything was over hooks and other hooks. And he had sort of early developed, uh, a no gay game that he was applying to the g, you know, obviously he can do all the gay techniques as well, but he was more of a nogi guy in the beginning.

And I was so interesting watching that style, you know, watching no gi, which is if abedi didn't do that and if they didn't have this prestigious event and make IT, no, I think the sport would have really struggled because it's so hard for people to appreciate what's going on with the gi. It's very slow. And when you see a guy getting choked by color is just .

IT looks silly yeah but yeah, I man, i'm so happy about to exist. I think the inspiration made to do a dcc was steel coop as highlight rules, like when I was coming up like two thousand and ninety thousand and eleven and see umbrella on jg house runs like that inspired me losing in the game more than nogi sons by a me to chase the nogi dreams. But like i'm following in any brothers for steps, you know, we both did a cc, couldn't win. We have our own invention. But yeah, I thankful for everything theyve done us to obvious ly love idc, sell, have a as big as IT is without any.

But do you feel any loyalty to A D, C, C, like you're kind of fuck in them.

right? I mean, I feel loyalty to the athletes, I think like for what we do and how much how much bigger the sport is now should be compensated Better. You know, like and that sort of what i've taken a massive in deline's.

I appreciate what you're saying, but if A D, C is not turning your profit like the idea of competition, the athletes more, I mean, they have essentially made stars out of so many these athletes. And by because of that, by the fact of that, they've profited.

But there in less the argument. And the argument is that I believe an event of that magnitude should turn a profit. I'm gonna do with myself and see, obviously I could be wrong, but based on the production and the things we paid for thus far, I don't see how you couldn't run IT in a profitable way.

obvious. Ly, we've given away one hundred times as much for two divisions, but men, if they had even up to, you know, I mean, less some token gesture. Like if we're going on from a basketball court with one hundred people in there to selling out team mobile like this, should like if there's room for a fireworks show, there's room for dramas. I feel like this should be summer room in the budget for the athlete pet to incase.

Now it's a good argument, and hopefully by forcing by this, you guys will like inspire them.

And the argument is about making stars like it's true, true else. You get a huge platform, but you could win and not become a star. You don't know plenty guys.

We know plenty guys, but I know a few people. That one, A D C C. But really like, yeah crazy for me is all go to sell out because gay jokes and to do the drugs all the time, you know. And i'll see real champions that can't sell at a seminar of, if we can, making event of those champions can make some real money. And I be super baby.

Well, I think you are you also your popularity increased because people know that you could for canoxy and fork with M, M, A athletes before you plan.

Still doing that for sure. Yeah, for sure. Love volcanic. He always be there in any time.

I mean, obviously I M has got a lot of crazy individuals in there. But like is to give up the time to work with the correct athletes. I will always have time for some of the real good guys out there.

Like, obviously easy or so. I always make time for easy. Jack della from perth. Like, guys like that, just super cool guys. I always want on to help him.

Yeah, jack dela, what a big. When he got over gilder.

I still moves off him. Remember when he went in the contender series? He hit like a mucky comi reversal in the first round of the contender series fight. And I was blown away by scrapping and i've been watching IT since and his reverse with cuba bones crazy train with him and i'm just like I still moves from like his man. He's so a good at grappling .

yeah he's very good at striking to he's in my opinion, he's like one of the best in the sport. And mixing up shots from the body to the head because so many fighters, for whatever reason, are head hunters, you know, and because you can not to go with one shot. But jack is so good at mixing shots up to the body and to the head, and he just breaks guys down.

Yeah, it's my scary god. I was lucky actually, because before that to poize y, we're about a sort of up. So was like he came out to wogan and trained as he came.

At the same time, i've got to watch jack della and easy he mix IT up and then then train with folks. And for me, even as ama a fan, it's like after to pitch myself sometimes but well, that's amazing. It's just like put on this thing when i'm talking to these guys about supervise.

It's the dream as just a grappling fan. I'm just thinking in all, what can we do? What can we convince into this event? Now I just is from a pure fan perspective, IT is pretty fun. No suspect. I'm i'm sure it's .

it's going to be interesting to see where they are. Not this can work um because a lot of people like looked at the usc models, hey, athletes should be getting paid more money and so they put on these none of more profitable. I mean, maybe batter was and they sold belt or and is the pfl? I don't know how they do financially, but they have the same sort of similar thing. They have a tournament, the tournament, the guy wins a million dollars.

But he my point is right is like if you're an olympic champion or if you're ufa champion, IT has so much prestige that every single person in the world knows what IT is that has is seen trinfiko? Ue, yeah. If you say you are I B G G F champion or an ADC c champion, a very small percentage population know that.

So it's like that case in point. We've put on a tournament with much more money. Everyone jump ed ships because they know that money.

Where's like of the olympic goal metal that's timeless. That's that that crosses all sports. You know that across snow in the culture.

how many guys are jump in ship?

I mean, i'll take after.

but so is the public that they're jumping ship or they not talking about IT or well.

we got sixteen spots in under an oven and i'm navigating through who wants to be in there know .

sixteen spots each.

so thirty two total. So i'm trying to navigate to the best guys we can get and it's like everyone wants in you really.

So no one's worried about the repercussions to blow back from a cc now because .

I think they see that as well. I could get the money show like, I mean, say so the tacker brothers, local texas guys, some of the noise kids ever, you know, and they were the first one of each child to me. They want the trials.

It's a dcc been to drink their entire life and they just see me up because no one believes anything I say unfortunate. Like, you make too many jokes. Seven, like, full of shit.

These guys will like me. Is this real? And I was like, it's real.

They like, well, even if I have to deal with the consequences, even if I have to go back and when the trials to qualify again, I want to shouted a million to take and then I even talking about themselves that I want to take care my family. And i'm like, well, that's that's a super cal motivation to do this. They willing to risk IT because i'll fight .

their way back in. But I hope there's no repercussions.

I hope I don't think there will be.

We'll see, right? But I think best case scenario that abc c recognizes that there's competition and and they have to raise up the amount of money they get the athletes. And you know maybe it'll just elevate the profile of the sport enough. So that's profitable still.

Yeah, it's a good experiment. Stage verses.

so why do IT the same .

weekend as them? You you want the athletes to make a stay and you know are they together .

or motivation? It's sort of making a stand, but it's making a stand that money is more important than this organza. It's propped up the sport for twenty plus years.

Well, as other athletes say, a million dollars is easy to make. It's for gorden. I mean.

gorden makes a lot of money. I mean, gorden makes a lot of money instruction from dominating for all these years.

but again, like like a million for most guys. Like I mean, you grow in brazil, you know you like millions, not he especially the instruction market is predominant lish speaking people. They're the ones are going to pay the highest Price. So it's like us that speak english have a huge advantage in that area. But given me be personally just I having .

an accent and other .

americans model yes, I mean little more john dana key reaction on yeah he's obvious ly smart gob but that is going to show.

are you still close to him? Do you talk him now? You don't talk so he's upset at this.

I don't know. I've run into a few zones. We say I look back when we walk, pass, see there's not a knife coming now. but. I held him hard, a few bodies in new york and ask a missing woman, but we had a tight bond.

He's a is a unique character. I mean, he seems like a guy from a fucker movie like he doesn't seem like a real guy. You know, some professor philosophy, a colombia who becomes obsessed, judge to sleep on the mats, teaches everybody and forces are ready trained.

Three hundred and sixty five days year. yeah. Interesting fellow. yeah.

What was IT like doing that? Like the three and sixty five days year?

I mean, I wouldn't do IT, you know, would be like, what I going to die off. Let me have a data relax. I won't necessarily do IT.

I mean, IT was a lot of training though. He got like, he wanted IT to be your life, you know, like, and obviously that should be. But a lot, a lot of pressure, a lot of pressure to .

be a part of that time. Did you talk to him about that? The philosophy behind those decisions?

I mean, we had a lot of discussions, I think like we actually really close because i'm from a he's new zealand mostar and from his part of the so lot of the time australian visit, he actually has a touch connection with them because we have a lot of things we can relate on. So we I mean, we talk all the time. I unfortunate pretty me in nick will to the ones that he was closest too.

before the team split and when you guys were trained there, how beneficial al is IT having a got him very .

super beneficial. And also not just because of who is in, how smart is, but like he based approaches, like an image coach, you know, like A A, A coach is always watching, is always guiding your training. Most you do.

The coaches are participating. They teach a few moves. They roll with everyone. So I have a guy that you purchase. You like an ea may coach where you purchase with that level of professionalism watching making adjustments. I think even something as simple as .

that is a huge benefit. Yeah, I think so too. Also a guy who's physically impaired where he can't compete, but he is so much passion for IT that he pours IT all into the athletes.

yeah. And I think what made him so brilliant as well is obviously his college and university. He knows how to study. You knows how to take notes when everything you knows how to teach.

You put him in hinza Graces in new york for twenty years when IT was the hub of imma and grappling guys like coja gracy a passing through the time. He's basically in this position where you can just watch, train with all these guys, pick up all these details and have a locked and loaded ready to teach in a perfect way. Like I would see, his games is heavily inspired by goa. Know he just takes the really useful things and can articulate IT in a way it's Better than most of the people in the sport before. So I think there's all these factors that have made him who he is and why is so successful.

How much of a factor is this? The constant training, the training of three hundred sixty five days? You like, how do you baLance the burn out with the discipline?

Like, how do you like? Because I think inspiration is a almost enthusiasm and inspiration or almost I think disciplines more important for sure, but the factors that can be ignored because when an athlete loses inspiration and losses enthusiasm, they just don't have the mental drive to push through, like very difficult situations. You are saying like you just lose the steam, you lose the engine.

I mean, I don't think you should do three sixty five year, you know, like I think you should peak for events, have a period of time afterwards where you slow down. And then when you not preparing for event, you're studying technique when you get close to an event, you're refining the particular techniques and skills for that particular events, roll set or opponent or whatever. And we should like go up and down.

And like, I like IT. When you have an event, whether you wanna lose, you don't train too much after you have the spear where you miss training and you like pulled back into IT. So I do and I think I mean, even like of the gordon s had force breaks with healthy issues. But like as long as i've known him and we train together, like there would be time periods where he wouldn't be a training for a week or two, you know. So it's like I think it's like A A myth we should all start for, but everyone should be entitled to some time off.

Did you ever talk to john about that?

I mean, I would just take a day off every week, but luckily, like, I think he had some love for the australians. Let me get away with some things you wouldn't other people do. So I mean, I would be chilling.

You know, does he enforce that like the three hundred sixty five days a week?

I don't know if there's a real strong enforcement, but there's like an own spoke and Better be there, you know like, but I know who knows what is now as he is moved. Austin, my memory is very frazer party forgot some things. But yeah, I was a super precision tive that I had.

I was a part of that time. But I mean, I would would like, lucky, i'm lucky. I moved to melbourne, was a look.

And James, for a few years, had a massive splash at edc c two thousand thousand. And then I was with john. So i've been around some good coaches, you know. So I think a lucky position, despite coming from australia, not as lucky as others.

Like I would have been amazing to be like a nicki ran born right next to new york and going to change someone, the people in that team, or have that coaches. But again, like, we know that lucky I didn't even train with a black bet told over a pop exposed because i'm from australia. I probably came up with the time period in my city that was more like an older time in the us. Where black bears will. That will. 嗯, one.

what year did start train? Oh.

probably seventeen years ago now. And even back then, there weren't .

many black pelt around. No, when I started training.

I just tried with my cousin, and he was like a four short White IT was like two people on the match and was not. I trained twice a week.

I didn't try properly .

for a long time. You think twice a week? Yes, I was still like.

I don't think I know is for fun. Yes, we for living back.

I was still in high school when I first started, and then I was just flip burger as a burger again, basically. Then I did psychology degrees, the bachelor s somebody like I to work jobs, study in due duties. So these ourselves today they get to just train. I'm so envious of them. You like it's just the sport again, the sports growing that much with the sponsorship deals and stuff back.

How did you learn technique? I had eighty .

like he's the funny thing. I had any brother, mother, rob book that came to meet a very influential time where I read the chatter about weed. But you may still so like, I was like thinking i'm going to wind some techniques and that I was smoke away with.

yeah, IT doesn't work for everybody. It's interesting, the weed thing, because some people think that makes you lazy, and I think you're just lazy. I think if you, if weed makes you lazy, you're lazy.

I, I, I IT makes me think about the consequence is like the idea of paranoia. Like people talk about weed paranoia. I think it's hyper awareness.

And you know, anyone said this to me, like if your life is shit and you smoke weed, it's gna feel terrible but if your life is great and you smoke feet, we you're onna feel good like if you got all you don't have any problems in your life, you know what things you're dealing with. If you've doubt with your problems and you're just like on a good path, then we'd good for you. But we has never made me lazy.

It's the opposite. I smoke weed, I would feel like don't could get good things to do. You don't want these things, fucker with you. You don't want these things hang you over your head like that hyper awareness. It's like part of my work ethic, like like oversight, like someone is looking over me all the time, making sure I I can't lie to myself or the other people I have to do the things are actually supposed to do. That's my feeling about IT.

Well, I mean, I really book and I was like, seventeen, smoking bones, driving a training in the car. Haven't prety worker get ready to go to war? You like that spicy float that that on me, that was good. I think role IT like role and high keeps you flow and keeps you out and do all the time. Sometimes I think guys that is so high that i've just matched them for a around, but I don't want thing, but they're so left fascinated by that like the perceptions of .

sometimes I think that's possible. True, that's too. But I always felt I was like ten percent Better. One knows I I really feel like that's .

a quite a few things.

Couple years IT bears don't help me like when I play pool. If play pool high, I play way Better. If I play pull drunk, i'm not good really. Yeah, I think with me, alcohol just makes me not pay attention. Ship alcohol for me is like not i'm not a focus person of from drinking.

I need that a sport that gives me a false sense of confidence.

That's useful. Maybe one or two beers were drunk.

Have you ever competed drunk? I've felt IT for sure. You see you not be actually usually a vocs soto or something. So if if a fan sees on that, not solo, what man.

you've done that many times where you just to take the .

edge off for five, six time? I mean, I was I had a couple drinks before the lava magic because we had her head bottle back. There was come put that up, but sadly not.

Well, isn't how we head on by dinner.

Doesn't was the thing as I guys think it's a bottom back again. Put the blog .

when you were training and you were learning from books. Like did you have any videos that you studied? Was like how did you learn techniques other than just books?

I mean, i'm try to make work books. I had mean I had like a pj pens book at brothers book, like the to textbooks. And then I started buying.

The instructions was like I I had corporation duo from M. A I had ryan holes. He really changed a game with instructions, was in the early days, so like stealing his moves.

And then I ve learned about the world of torrent sites. And I started illegally, acquiring every instruction I could. And then we tried to self learn the math, studying these, and then fill in the moves that me. So I was really self tour up and to purple bell, really just focus on using instruction.

And then where you go for purple bat.

Then I moved to melbourn with local jars. And basic was like two and half years then and two and years with john.

That's a crazy little amount of time.

I didn't expect that as a thing a lot of people loves. They just notice when you achieve something, a trains by myself, a long time before I was able to join any big games.

what do you think attributed to your success?

I think, I mean, honest, I do not put in the work in the early dist. For sure. And then study, study, studying, and then just being at the forefront of the leg lock sort of, you know, I got the right time.

I saw a techniques in the gay, like the bearing bola that would just a new technique that would wipe the flow with experience blackbeard. Ls, you could use IT on people. We had no business beating those of the techniques I wanted. And I saw the dana haul guys use your hooks. And I was like me, if I, as a pople about, can submit some black belts from my smoking accessory.

I got to go. And so how did you wind up training with john and the.

I mean, I would joe, I obviously strata far away, hard for us made to keep doing that sixteen hour journey back. And fourth, I wanted to staying in america. So I just start to do with my camp, said that was the best place to do IT.

IT was like hundred people in the room doing nogi obviously had D. D. S. Squad there. There was awesome, dana, her focus at that time, there really weren't too many places in the world that would take ology as seriously as those guys.

How bad was the staff? Infections is going around down there.

I've got staff every month, every month. I know.

how the fuck is that possible?

I got you under my eye on time. And the c was sure. Thank you.

But yeah, every month was only. I remember I used to go trip to mexico to get some medicine. I go in there by a bunch doxy. I by like ninety tablets over. I just sit on A K tagging used to buy my steroid down in mexico .

to but isn't that that's probably would fuck ordinary stomach up this. There is, I mean, I mean the the of yeah I mean, yeah probably .

probably everything who know yeah anybody stuff not good for you but when .

you're on end, he was on antioch for a year straight. Which first of all is crazy because the amount of discipline that takes to train that much, why you're on antibiotics, people don't know. Antibiotics reck your cardio, just reck your physical strength, reck your your vitality.

I got staff once, and remember, took antibody tics, and I don't think i'd ever taken antibodies before wall training. And when I was recovering from staff, I was like, this is nuts. I feel like i'm fifty percent fifty per like when luke rockwall beat Chris wide, man, he was on in about taking.

I've tagged a lot during matches. I've taken a lot. I've been on IT all the time in the last to match and rex, you though, right?

Yeah i'd bad stuff in my leg like even turn the that phillip o match I member, I submitted him and then he had stuff with that. I was like, got to you to ask me. But that was about on the doctor had to cut that open and like, squeeze out.

That was horrible. But I think the more you take anybody to less affect I have on you. So now I get stuff.

It's really do you use anything to protect your skin? Like use defense. So like now I .

just tried to show shade after just .

reg or so.

Yeah, anything I think we have some brand is up in that. But like I think it's just important. Like, I mean, we do them with some people that don't have a shower like that. Yeah, so I have a quick I would .

see guys do that when they would train and they would just go home. Sweat already, your fuck in mind, like you're allowing that stuff to breed on your skin while you're in your car. It's hot out.

That was put rica. We had no shouse of the gym. Oh god, so we would have sixty minute drive home after each class without having a shower. Oh, that's insane. Not good for the caf abridge smell.

But but was the porter reo? jim? Wasn't that exposed to sunlight? At least? Wasn't the man exposed to sunlight not enough?

You know, because I get the ocean every day. I think maybe that helps. Probably a lot of sunshine down.

Yeah that everybody helps. What sunlight on the mats apparently is a great thing. Like if you could open up garage doors and have sunlight on the mats, apparently that that kills a lot of things.

Yes, for sure. I also think sometimes like the overtraining, your mean systems just down because might be a stressed for slept yeah sure you really stressed about a match. Other people get stuff for at a match because they push the training up to the anxiety of the match, thinking about that misses with their sleep and then they're just vulnerable to IT.

When you are training, did you ever monitor your heart rate? Check your heart rate in the morning, make sure you're not over training.

You know, I thought about doing hv stuff. I looked at one of the machines at the Thomas of that expensive way. I mean, now I don't want of anything. I get my blood pressure checks concerning, you know, almost failed the last few medicals because the doctor was liberty bug pressure through the roof as possible.

IT a man, why would you be so high?

Good question. I probably too much cafe.

think that's IT.

I don't know, we should find out, but i'm busy travel all the time, should look into you. Don't know what's wrong?

Freak me out. My blood pressure is .

high now you are figure me. We'll test IT after.

Feel like I GTA survive for this year.

I was some body .

understand, but you're relying on your body. That's your business.

Your business. Is your body a faulty?

I think these things are .

one hundred percent.

and I don't think they are never wrong with blood, right? I mean, this actors, you could be stressed out that that raise up your blood pressure.

I was making jokes with the doctor last time I competed in dubai, and I was making jokes. So there many was just not, not laughing at all, like not to have in a day the mexican ductor a craddy come. Loved that, but not the debug guy.

That's funny.

I face the you, another guy in the usc that finished Kevin lao quick, he not. He finish Kevin. Lady, like when he knocked down.

Guilty them in a minute. Oh, the last guy. Yeah, his last .

fight time. Come member, his name. He was crazy, that man, he did not want to tap. I don't bug you put him in a triangle.

He went. There is not how to say .

that fucker red off. Go for.

give his midden ough for read, enough for read.

His middle stuff are there.

yeah. wow. Wrap, he's just like.

how can I stuck and make Bruce buff is less .

difficulty. Yeah, brothers got a rough. I got a rough on the, I fuck up all the time. The way when I have to do the way .

did I get angry with anyone?

No, no. Luckily no one's got to angry, I mean, but it's always a mistake. I've fucked up a few times.

It's hard. Those words are t sometimes your mouth just doesn't work, right? You know, IT just doesn't come out right.

I fucked up U M off name once. When I was after his fight I was a god demand. I just came out. It's hard.

Some of the um .

the beat was the hardest maga sharp, a beat magma sheriff. That was a guy that of a fuck man. I was really bubbles out and he stepped out when he just decided, enough, enough, and he is a doctor. Now really, I think so, find out what he's is doing is a beat magmatic shap. That I was fucked in.

Good man. He is a coach.

He is a wild shit. He was so interesting because he is from dag. Stan, but he felt like, go, you know, like, almost, I got a kai .

fighter craze.

Yeah, man. And he could do anything. I mean, crazy trips too. He would do that trip.

Oh yeah. He sort of made the way folks does.

A, he was very good at that. One particular is just so ver so clever and creative and such an interesting fighter to watch. I was a bomb out man like a really bombed out and that I retired like shit.

That's why I love traveling around finding these guys like these mysterious guys like I was in japan, and that .

I had dinner with a .

janki suit.

Remember, we used to Carry around that flag with all all, and we are all on, what a beautiful .

guy when a fight.

and then hold this up like we are all one.

And then he just retired to pass, becoming a pop star. And now he is a politics, a pop star. And restaurants, yeah, have you seen this? Uh, dancing videos?

No, I know a guy fights that could probably dancing a .

model y dancing gangue one. I forget the name of like dancing one time. Singing is at .

all no sure. Wow, i'm not surprised. Is a creative guy. He was creative as a fighter too. Very interesting fighter to watch.

He retired and like he became a pop star to grow in popularity. Like even fighting wasn't his focus. He just wanted to leverage fighting and become in a pop star to help him get into politics, to help people. He really just wants to help people. So those who sade gigs to get into wear is today where he can use his political influence .

to help people in japan. Wow, that is amazing. Does he look at him? Is this him dancing? Oh yeah.

First.

I just get first pitch with all his dues. Bind them. Oh, a terrible pitch.

Is, is software.

Wow, that's pretty. Here's some crazy men.

He back in that west saw grap tournament. He was in to most back. Oh yes, and innovative today.

Yeah wild, explosive, interesting guy. Just very interesting. I mean, that's the kind of thing about the sport that's so cool is that you get these human beings are just exceptional, humane beings that decide to chAllenge themselves.

And one of the most difficult things a person can do, like volkan oski, like he is a very interesting guy, because like IT takes extreme character and will and discipline to become alexzander volkan oxy, the greatest father way of all time. I mean, IT IT takes a lot to be that person. You learn a lot just by being around those people. You you learn about human potential. Yeah, I mean.

I can lean grappling from these guys. You know, people think I show up and i'm just helping them like those guys are so talented, like I still shift from them as well. You just, I don't how they do at all.

Vogue does IT all. What have you learned from voc?

I mean, just the world. Like, I really still love. Remember, I fight us and how they total and get up from there.

A lot of grap don't understand that, like til they roll with a good and mega and the guy just keeps getting up. And I like what is happening like the look, yeah, they just up. I love that that for struction name just stand up and there since five yeah.

you did do that right? You did make A A whole instructional about getting up. Yeah is IT because some guys get just to captured with the idea of in engaging and grappling and not getting out. Yeah.

we're like like if I get get his god part, you diagonally look to get god back. Where is like sometimes it's good to expose your back, to stand up and reset. Where is like a lot of you just guys so scared expose their back. They refused to ever do IT. So it's like the when I never make that does IT that don't have to deal with that good at dealing with IT, it's at them .

interesting yeah because you don't think about IT yeah well, it's always like when you have new variability ties, new variables, new variables into any sort of fighting discipline like all this is a new thing that I didn't consider .

yeah I love that like as well as I love you do. You can be complicated image of IT more simple. So it's like we can make all these instructions als introduce about these weird positions, like all to put out and stuff because you could be entirely creative and even made the consequences are so strong severe. It's a much simply again, doesn't mean it's easier. There's just less things you can do.

Well, that was interesting is that guys in M, M, A in general aren't as good at submissions because they have all these other disappoints to consider is like when I went from um type to kick boxing, one of the things that I realized like oh, when people are punching you in the face, there's a last stuff you can't do but if people aren't punching in the face time, you get good at kicking and so these guys who are used to getting punched of IT, there's stuff that there just not they don't have the dexterity than on the ability to do.

And I don't know if you develop that the same to the same extent, like when you see guys like a wonderboy who started out with with karadi, exactly. I can do stuff with his legs that the average person can do. You, oh ya air.

Yah air or drive. My god, I Y he's on my favorite guys to watch because this fucking kicks are crazy. They just come from .

everywhere finding that's a good question. He is the tiger .

is not far I ve was that is last, let's pull up ye a gigas but was just find out what ye a gigas is next fight is I don't know if they have announced that.

I haven't heard anything yeah funny when you're in the when you friends a bunch and find that .

sometimes let you know if that that's not been announce .

trouble and up a few times is IT say not in books .

was the tiger's last one yeah so last artigue and before the walking off sky volcan asi Peter, that was, that was a prime volkan asi display.

Yeah, that was crazy. That man, yeah, he's just so strong and is a muscle him in the clinch. And we worked on a bunch of stuff because of how dangerous you I is. God is like he's got a dangerous god.

And we had to overcome the fact that like if you leave space against and we throw as well, but that cut you, right? So so we had to navigate those areas and really was good. Like a training vox strobel, like a is awesome because when he's on bottom, there's like a big contingent of mexican mm.

A fight is a really dangerous. Got the ago, Lopez trains out, think he's from man originally, but he trains a bunch of guys there. And just aggressive of bottom game where if you leave space etoile boss and if you're close, they're not set up high gods and submissions. So like we really had to prepare for how dangerous he is there.

He's one of the front runner, in my opinion, the eagle. Look, first of all, how the fuck that I make one forty five.

Ah, he's he's so .

dangerous. Man, you, who do you fight? Super sadic use in last night, he stopped in the first round. And before that fight, I was telling everybody I was like, I think this guy is the guy. I think he's the next guy to emerge.

I went who he's booked against. I may be first. I was like short notice against .

most far I IT was .

very close .

and most far is undefeated, one of the best guys in the division. But the ego scary it's not just that he's good, he's fuck and scary. He's intense .

from every year like this .

a sions knockout and his fuck kn standard is horrific. We're just climb out of rest. Jez, year, what's the most recent?

I fucked in. relax.

He set up. He doesn't know he's fucking and wear thing is that warm?

He's that but watching OK.

he's got a fucking and giant pack on, walk around rocking. That's good way to develop some cardy. I'll tell you that IT looks fine.

but I definitely someone else to hold the back.

Now that's how you get the cardio. You have to Carry the bag on your back. That's all I da.

what are the guys? I hope you have the man.

those guys. Yeah, the shirpurla. Ah, but I think he's trying to get fit. I think that's a hard idea, but it's interesting when a guy like that is just so good at one area which is kicking and very good off his back submission but then struggles in a couple other air like he's almost there. He's like right there, the tippy top but not quite at the level of the guys that are beating him just but I remember when he lost a Frankie came back from that and just become a much Better fighter, much Better fighter.

Just people can take out a couple times. And you like almost reinvented himself like surprise.

People know that happens. So off people count out max, hallowe'en, you know, mac hall, the last fight with vogue ke dominated and you know and max said, hey, that was his night. He had a, he had a great night. And that is the fact of fighting too. Like sometimes A A guy clip you in the first round, you're kind of not the same.

And but if you didn't clip you, maybe you were one like maybe you know maybe if you you like just engaging max alway it's caught that jump spin back to the nose at the end of first shadow is nose. That's a big factor. Big factor doesn't lend that.

Who knows? Fight was fucked. And amazing fight, still even that shatter knows crazy.

I was watching that. I was into boy for kai combat, and I was watching that at the breakfast buffet. With all the staff at the buffet at the hotel, everyone would crazy.

crazy. IT was the crazy in the last ten seconds when max points to the floor, a fight that is winning four rounds to one crazy to just call the guy out.

We to do that introit give each other a leg. Let's walk and go. I think .

that's the same.

both broken. That's an an interesting .

thing about like the ebi rules. How do you like those rules? The rules were when IT goes to overtime, you start either on a person's back or start from what they all spider web was just, you know, psycho llc. Trying to get an ARM.

I like anything creative like that, that's going to force people to train these different areas like but the majority of the sport special school guys don't like IT. It's very difficult to get them to compete on to those roles. Me personally, I like any roses I can beat a guy in.

So I had filip pen a match and the city five bus guys, well, I H what rose should we do? And I was like, I think eba is pretty good. You, yeah. But I like, I like the role test strategically against particular opponents.

But you know like like car bans have plan a guy, one of the best overall guys in the world if if I immaturity, you might be like just do a regular roles, man. right? Sounds like it's sort of strategy base.

right? Based on the opponents .

strength like even nicky against gordon, like they went and IT was walking close, you know and it's like that is very stress, was exciting. It's exciting. But if guys get submitted in those areas, sometimes people don't consider real even though IT is you know they're like what's over the time Victory? You didn't really submit him.

but you did right when nicky .

grab that, but rip.

I mean, how bad is is like fucked up still. You ve got to think like that doing some damage.

I just think like what was hilarious about that is like he was not good, has meant to his mini moglie and no respect of anybody just said the latest stage of .

his career when is Young was .

a month was incredible. And then it's like two days before they flip the script and you got nicky road and you know, I made and I just can just pitch him, just get foot broken being like, what the fuck?

What the fuck is that? You know, watch, IT was jesus is, that is a lot of such a gorilla.

IT was loud, was loud. He was, you heard this not be sometimes though, you get popped and it's so fast, that is the damage is already done and you just like, well, ready and let's give, you know, right but some obvious ly, some of the submissions are holding tension points slowly breaking. But the ones that are quick, sometimes guys don't tapp because it's like you didn't even have time to process .

what the one with you in vini when you broke his leg.

That's disgusting yeah as that still haunts me hey but yeah I don't know .

what how he keep going. Why did .

you going to be careful say like. Careful with what I said. I'm never gonna like a leg locks don't work because he got put a leg lock in twenty seconds and his leg, brock, and it's like, now you committed to .

the bit and I like.

looks don't work and then he's this leg exploded and mike, that's such a crazy thing to say. Leg logs don't work. It's because he had had matches with gary and go there and they got some pops on him, but he hadn't submitted. So maybe they laid the groundwork for me, I think, IT spiral fracture of his fabulous. He's got ankle.

Yeah, disturbing.

That was where I was like, but I ouldn't let that happen for a million. I didn't have much child songs by even I moto be more than me.

I just think it's a pride. No, just didn't want to APP that that I have going after the snap. That was loud.

That was, yeah, that was that. And the second one, I saw the bone poking into the skin, like if i'd kept going, that would be whatever bone will come out. I was no, I though I brought his good weight for over time, like you just didn't wana tap, but then the ref code.

because his leg was dangling.

I did the first few hook and then the second one, I bit where I pretend to like I was going for his other leg. So he gave me the bad one again, but he was lauded as he was, fuck, I couldn't break both my life as multi part and.

Oh my god, so you knew .

was already broken so my foot hit the ground at the exact second his leg snap enough. So for a second, like I thought a little bit of crunching but I didn't hear IT everyone else in the room hurted um and then he gets out of and all of this like west fuck guys flags away and then he says the me as I think he broke my leg no.

he said IT in the middle man.

we started talking and i'm just like what is happening here, right? How strange and as I you want to keep go on and he came like I did up back with the same leg o and I was just no resistance his ankle just just find .

that jme that's this horrible that was the one I was the most disturbing judge .

to match i've ever watch yeah I just got in .

a stand with like I was a slight why you make A I just felt every cause this good guy I just .

slain did you not help because you said leg legs not work. We like committed IT was quick. That is a quick break.

Doesn't he still have a plate there?

Honestly, I don't know, but he came back and competed. This makes that maybe four, five months later. That's crazy. And it's just like a milledge on the body there like yeah is a worth I mean.

Better than the tibia. I yes, the february I cracked my fabula before. It's not as bad as a small bomb. They can just let IT fix, know, let he up once they screw IT together. I wouldn't .

let IT back. Let yeah, the noise is bad. I broken a few legs and i'm just like, well.

so here, IT is is this before is the .

first one of that the with the brakes at the start of that? So his legs are broke in here. If you go to the twenty seconds, yeah, that right there. So we hit like a fifty, fifty and asian.

you hear that nee down and pull this leg out.

See you here .

actually in a little bit deep.

Oh, good. So look.

oh.

do you hear IT?

Look at his foot.

Look where his foot.

And then he .

tries to get me, I like go because I was like, do not like he can't let. He's like break. And then me just out .

put a rubber guard. I guess we got river knee.

his best positions.

and he got to IT with this.

The sound is so awful.

the sound of broken bones. I've I never get like Chris wide man, when he fought you riyal hall through that like IT was like full power and your ride checked IT and you see nap, you hear the snap and he is like them over that's where it's like .

it's crazy how people act to that show what kind of a greg was still just talking shit that's .

fuck in such .

A I never miss I didn't even have a pain killing whistle yeah but was .

ready for did you see him partin like another .

two ago and real I mean.

IT doesn't mean is drinking.

He said.

wife got a shirt off, looks he's having a good time. I mean, IT looked like he wasn't sober, but he could just be a fucked in maniac.

It's my games though.

Maybe could be that. Yeah.

that's why I do the los keep my house party all the time and I was but I was like.

maybe it's onna mess you like here's corner and his kiss in his wife he's thrown for he took a shirt off. He's getting crazy. But I mean, he could just be enthusiastic.

I don't know. IT looks little .

shame. Gillis has an amazing bit about roadhouse. You have to see really. It's so fuck and funny.

He's a legend day. I want to get him involved in this. I want to get some canadians .

commentating. Just shit talking. The grappling world guys would .

know to be mazing.

He would be, wouldn't do interviews. I don't think he wouldn't be good at that, but he would be good at the commentary. Get, yeah, get talking shit. yeah. I'll get people's named.

I'll get in economy against gary.

He might do IT. He might do IT. He might do IT.

You never know. I did hegan in the album by two thousand and three. He didn't have anybody with them. Is your hogan is that you take just tell me in the time because like hagan, you know, had been trained that much wasn't the best shape just let me know what time you know what the time is.

I say sometimes a i'm just like let me know the time yeah let me know if you think i'm burn too much gas, too relaxed and i'm that's the key here.

right? right? Haven't your ideas in your corner .

will be fuck in history? Alexander's, I don't think it's a tough got to get involved with the charities, our foundation, with my business ponied our foundations go the fair fight foundation and i'm just like not good to start out with fighting a woman, but the body.

well, that's a fair fight. Those she's so big. I mean, you might not way you buy what you walk around .

that two or five if you got a .

few pounds of me for.

Last night, a video call in each other, we both taken anvhar. I popped to fifty and SHE popped to twenty five. Are you able not to be me? You busy.

You know, I took some screen shirts, say, I don't know what releases. Yes, I talk. I should talk you to get the contract. Sina.

you should have some ideas, do commentary for that fight. That would be the perfect fight for him to do commentary for.

yeah, just comments.

Yeah, because john just do you too. He knows a little bit. He definitely knows positions and he talks so much IT, he's just so hill areas.

i'm going to take a serious, but I am going to come out what tank tops are going to get. You probably know i'll put on the corner of the man and see you going to finish up before I finished, you know.

oh yeah, well, haven't something like that would definitely be an added element of fun, some fun. The .

tournament's series, obvious ly guys going killing each other. And then a bit of a bit of entertainment, you know, bit of a battle, the sexes, I guess you .

could say definitely that sort of a battle of the enhanced sexes.

Yeah, who's more enhanced that?

Yeah.

he is. I going to know if stack, I wish what I wanted to do was run an event where we drug test, but I was anonymous and we're just for my own personal enjoyment. I just I want to the most of anything I would be .

fun to see like what because judge to is an open start using event. If you heard of the enhanced games.

oh yeah, yeah, I was reading .

about i'm having those guys on. So the enhance games is they're going to allow all the athletes to take performance enhancing drugs and the ideas like we should have athletes perform to the best way. I mean, i'm putting words in their rough, but that's scientifically possible in the best way, scientifically possible.

Like like his ference is like this, uh, ryan Garcia, a fight. You know, ryan, he beats devin haney, spectacular fashion looks amazing for austery very low doses of austerity, which are not going to affect him in terms of performance enhancing ability during the fight itself. I don't know how we took at what he took IT.

I know people have got austery accidentally sugah an mali, got IT through tinted supplements. They proved that it's more than once that happened. Well, yeah, suit one. yeah. Which is if you think anybody would not be fuck in natural that guy.

how does he still .

look like the cuban fucked in athlete program?

That's how he's grappling, is taking a grape match in britain against grap own livesey so we can have a gap in OS.

a beast that's very interesting.

Who you think .

a good question to? Very good question in U. L. Was one of the very best cuban wrestlers ever. Mean, he's a fuck in tank.

yes. What silver middle olympics adam ety have been right?

Yeah, yeah. Mean, he's a monster man and and physically he's just such an imposing force like luke rocco's said that IT Robert Walker said the same thing that IT hurts when you hit, so made out a metal.

but he hurts when .

he kisses as well. That was rough, rough way to, well, look like to talk shit and you talk shit to that guy. I love you a lot.

He did this also dancing for the press time. I was the best two picking women out of the great. You don't want to take you because you like, and sit back down.

I know exactly that, guys. Such a falcon animal. I mean, I really wish he gotten to emma earlier in his career.

We've been amazing to see because I think when he entered the U. F. C, he was in his late thirties.

Yeah forty six.

forty six now, right? And he still looks amazing .

that yeah but like .

he doesn't look forty six like gRandy looked like a strong forty six year old.

I need that human stack.

Yeah what his stack is not. I mean, i've told this story before for people who heard IT, i'm sorry, but one of things that happened to U. L.

When he got injured, he fought in the u. Fc, and then they brought him to a doctor. He had an orbital fracture and some of other issues they bore to the doctor.

And the doctor said to the fc, where did you get this guy? He's like, yeah, he's amazing, right? Because no, you you understand that.

Because I ve never seen a human being like this before. The tendance in his eyes are three times larger than a Normal persons. He said. His orbital bow is dirty healing. So this guys are freak.

How to get to that little?

I think you're got to be born cube.

a shady convicts genetic from australia.

I think it's I just wonder what they do in cuba before their athletes do not say. And I mean, without casting any expressions in terms of performance enhancing supplements.

is anyone way to find out?

Yeah, go there. Ask them, I don't know, you know, I don't know what they did, but that means the guys like wolverine, but is also a genetic experiment and there's only so much you can do with steroids. I mean.

that guy I know i've tried, you don't even live weights.

which is so crazy you're take IT towards without lifting.

Wait, I mean, from time to time and I just good lifting program if you pull up here and there yeah but that just not.

I don't think still going well. They're going to help you recover and train yeah I definitely .

help your well being, I think yeah well if you're train three hundred sixty five.

does the argument right if you're training three hundred and sixty five days year, like and that's also the argument for like tor france. You know i've heard IT argued from people that really are experts that you're actually healthier to take steroids and performance enhancing drugs to do tour to france, then you are without IT because your body just can't recover without IT. It's just so gruelling is such a brutal race. The reason why so many of them were blood doping, so many of them were taking epo.

And to stores I won to try epo. I see like some people criticized me for put saying a text there is intrigued o but like the way I look at IT is the kids the next generation they're going to take in anyway? I at least want to put out I put out my exact stack and I just want to send that out as almost like it's like drugs just say no doesn't work it's like I want to let him know taking a safe amount, the doctor's guidance and that it's not a mystery where they thinking like after take pump one gram awake in all this stuff to compete at high level. So it's like middle ground obviously get criticize for, but it's like the other option is they don't know what a highly of athletes d and they fuck ruin their body, taken crazy dosages.

Well, would would be interesting. Like what would you just to look like if steroid were legal? I mean, one of things we found out when you saw that came into the u.

Fc, even though there was previous drug testing, IT was really only during the way, and which is kind of just an intelligence test. So IT is like when you look at outer over inversus brock later, the idea that either one of these mother fuckers is clean is crazy talk. That's crazy dog, especially alster.

I mean, elster was he fought when he fought two or five, when he fought, look at back, back, back when he fought chocolate, two or five, and then look at him at two sixty five. He gained sixty pounds. And he looks like a fucking superhero ubin. Like those days, like when he won the k one .

ground per and a hard stuff former. I love when they said the old days was an intelligence desk because many guys still failed that intelligence.

You know what IT is. You know how is like you're in gyms, you have jim brows that are coaching you. They don't really know what the factor talking them out, but they say a lot of good big words and you have to pass the test and you rely on these meat heads to try to pass the time on line.

Well, there's people that have those people, i'm sure this be, i'm just guessing, just thrown IT out there. But I don't think everyone's clean. I think there's probably some effect. This is so much money involved in ema now there's probably some really sophisticated scientists that are work with the lead athletes and they're developing protocols that are either undetectable or they have a short lasting, uh, you like, which is probably why you saw to wake up at six clock the morning know the idea is like to catch you while still in your system if you have short acting .

stuff that yeah like a test propria of something like .

the water vice yeah like weren't they doing that in baseball? They were taking like test aster on gamming and the ideas that they they meet abilities so quickly you get their effect of them, but then they're out of your system.

By time you get tested, I try out those taste of like shit. I don't know.

I think I mean, it's fucked in gumming with test stony. And how could you taste good?

Throw out of the tongue. What is the days? One just bad.

Hey, like chemical. yeah. Like a is there a while? I member, I trying to get legal state in australia when I was coming up, and I just couldn't do that. My dog, to give me the test, us and government is like, fuck this should like, I felt I ouldn't .

work in australia. What are the laws? like?

I mean, here, any, I think any G, P. In prescribed tests, also in australia have to be like an knowledges they added to, lay to. And there is hard to to see an end of china noodge st.

It's going to give test dosers into a Young, healthy, do you know, right? Guys back there would do so a crazy should like they're sleep for a couple days to beat off a bunch of times trying crash the levels. Check that your test is like.

yeah, well, another thing, the problem with the test being low, this is what they are found with. When they did IT, they had tester and use exemptions in the ufa for a brief from all the time few years. And those are the veto belt years.

And the problem is when the guys done stereos, as our life as endurin system is fucked up already. So you go in there and a test, your test aston on love, and you like wall. Your levels are super low, like unique test aston on like thank you. But the reason why the lows because you ve been .

on star as your whole life ah that doesn't .

make IT anymore yeah I mean, you went you could look at the tour from the early days like v tour in uf, c twelve, when he thought fought a scot for ozone and trade telega. He weight like two hundred pounds.

I used to call in vital gracy back Victory.

I was training at .

school what .

they throw the sea in, know I was, I was. Ov, yeah. I I don't know.

I don't understand. I know why did that and I know. I think they were threatened to sue him if you use the greasy name. I think so yes.

I think .

was and was very, where .

do you? Some brain said, its me, I like at the way so sure I should remember the name.

He was a fucked man, huh? What's me?

The shirt company? Go back from h people find that .

is IT on the back anywhere people say anything. The tag labels, was this in the bottom of IT there out the name? What was the bottom? Say there all just is great.

man, I feel back from, but kosher on the .

yeah g it's pretty. Here is the og. He was the fucking man.

Cool on the focal train with him. I've never tried. They have never met him.

Really interesting dude. Man, very interesting dude. I got a chance to watch um a color C M.

Member when he fought for knockin. Yes yeah. I've got a chance to watch a footage .

of that with him in his house. Didn't show me that so that he's got that .

I know might release that release that that was A U G. Angel, right?

I came to chAllenge .

beat taped up is knockers with duck tape beat the fuck out of and yeah and he's like, if we are competing when you tap its over, if we are fighting when i'm done and i'm done, I decide you just beat the fuck out of that.

Do I M scared for safe from I go pokin sins, right? Who does I believe hix and does does he really? I believe so? No kidding.

I didn't hear that. yeah. I I saw A R carers y announce something about SHE .

always wonder because we talked about pretty rough like that's that's trauma induced parkinsons and you know, hickson didn't get hit a whole lot in his career, but he he did get hit you know, I always wonder yeah have some Grace. You fighting inst paris is, i'm not get of death, but quitting is unacceptable. Road stone magazine, wow, this is rolling stone.

That's crazy. That is crazy that there's a hicks and grazy article in rolling stone. That's amazing. Wow, fuck man parkinson.

I hope we get a crown back.

I hope so too.

You might come back.

Well, I mean, his last fight in M, M, A just looked like he was just trying to pull guard and work off his back in. He just didn't look like he's prepared. I know a play.

good. yeah.

Do you think he would be one day at me? He was such an a league grap 了 the gary tony match, what a fucking match that was holy shit, man.

crazy ever.

That was before gary was training with the donor. Her death quad, right.

wasn't IT either. I mean, good question. We have to if we saw the match, we'd see who's in the corner because .

this is a definitely before the leg lock days. Yeah, this, this was a long term. Gary did .

happen that I was. I've tried to catch up with him a couple times in new york. I reached down. I did to have a lunch for the time, but he's like, he just left the grappling world of disadventure.

What does he doing? No.

I don't think anyone knows. He came back. I saw you in a couple of video. He came back to hinza s and trying a couple times. But I think he doesn't like any media attention and like it's so good around and just finish again.

He was on a leak grap or two. Well, he was one of the very best of the leg lock eyes in the early.

early days. He was scary. We will copy him. And now he was a scary, scary.

that super smart, like really intelligent guy.

And now, yeah, he he ended up with a toy able dying, right?

Yeah, they started dating when he started training at hanoi, and I don't know what happened. SHE.

Can I think SHE competed gapping a lot as well.

Yeah, SHE had fucked up nize man. Her needs were all blown out. I remember trying to tell her .

to get surgery, fix him, get breaking.

I don't know. I think he had at least one with no acl where that's .

that's a doesn't nicki .

have a fucked up me? Niki ryan.

nicky an does man, nicky road gets injured every three minutes scramble, but he just beat jt taras. So like biggest win of his.

that was a big win. Yeah, he look great, was beautiful.

Yeah, he he was trying a real serious .

for that but doesn't have like one acl that's gone yeah yeah.

Remember he tories say the doctors were like, I was in attempt surgery or you can do rehab only so he just did nothing and just get shining. He didn't even read up the thing on my Brown something yeah is wild.

That's not wise for the future, though.

No, I mean, I think he had ninety five percent cus removed in one of his legs.

Oh god, down. IT. Yeah, precious.

One surgeon was like, I won. Do that? You too Young for body?

Well, you know, they do. Muncie replacements, they do. Yes, they do. Could ever muncie replaces, especially with Young people. It's .

really effective. Sounds like his name, god hope he does .

IT because he can do IT. And it'll actually take we got .

him in this though it's gone up for the million that be exciting .

would have fucked up me.

There's always something fucked up with him. I like these always ended in some way.

What isn't not the case just will like with so many elite combat ports athletes, it's very rare. Other than boxers, it's very rare. There's a story going around about this NBA player who got a mick as from a donor yes that mean it's I could ever yes because they for the .

ever it's a good .

ever go donor and like I said, IT is it's effective. It's possible for I think there's an age where they don't recommend IT anymore because of the lack of uh blood circulation. But I always wonder um for who though like when they say you know you can't do IT after forty but for who like for the regular person who is a forty year old who doesn't work out and is not like physical fit or if you did that to say someone like steep eeoc ch like could he get a minister replacement? When is you know constantly training and um but how much does your age affect blood flow to that area?

Like what is the factor that does not make sense if like if you still have like uh, a great deal to max, you're still very fit in your your super healthy train all the time. You obviously have great circulation. I guys don't understand why at a certain age they wouldn't recommend that. I wonder if it's based on averages, like you take the average fifty year old guy and you give IT to him and his needs still fucked up because his body didn't heal properly. But like with peptides, with all the things that revealed today and stem cells, I wonder.

yeah, it's going to be something to stack the deck favor.

Office remove was scope to my left and it's always be fucked up. There's always like something yeah just grounding. Well it's it's not all of mine is gone. It's only in a corner. But uh I I suffered the um what's called a insufficiency franco, where you are because there's no I crash skin and I cracked my bones together so hard but I cracked .

the top of my shining.

Get off the ground real hard and I was skiing around the corner and this this lady didn't know what he was doing and she's like that every day. And I was, well, you know, you learn, but he was on not a fairly difficult trail. And i'm not a great scared, but you know, I have good baLance. Some pretty okay. I know to do IT, but I was like, either I hit this lady and fucked and kill her, or I after fall down so I chose falling down and I fuck and banging my head so hard, like as my head bang and I H that .

one counts.

I was like, that's that's a no, he would have been bad. IT would have been bad because .

he wasn't very large. And I was, no.

I wasn't going slow. I want to see her boling ball flying down. Mean all that wait the momentum of all that way. I imagine when you're really big, like my kid ski and they are they ski so easy because they're light and like we we we but the hear you are like the more fucked and momentum is .

coming down lots in the entry yeah .

my friend chain dorrian, he blew his fucked in in the out snowboarding, hit a tree torture ney had to get a reconstructed and stem cells and all that change. And he's good to go now, but took a long time before I was good. And I would imagine you a professional, you a professional surfer, one of the best in world big wave surfer, and he's a fucked in monster like I would do everything to preserve my god dane's. But he loves snow warning so much he's still back at IT like you're in same man.

Yeah, that's crazy. That's crazy at risk your .

career a well, I think he's kind of his career as as competition is kind of over, you know, he's just kind of a representative of a bunch different brands. And I don't know if he competes. I mean, can I slater .

still compete, which is crazy and still wins? Yeah, yeah, I suppose that's a risky for yourself.

Oh yeah, that's got to be risky. It's got to be risky for everything. Like I know guys who play musical ins and they fuck up their hands and you just like broken up a lot .

of surgeons is like maybe don't train I mean.

if you break a hand and as the hand he played guitar with and now you got these fuck and narrow as fingers and you you're still trying to move at the same speed yeah.

I am my fingers and stuck up. And another time, my finger that stuck on the ground and went straight up. I remember that was an important reo.

All of the house that broke my hand. And I went to the hospital in porter, ico. We go the x ray and waiting around hours and the guys like, it's fun, no brakes, nothing.

So I leave and then i'm like, my hands fucked up. So I go back and end up getting the x ray and I can see is broken and I ended up getting IT treated. I just posted on instagram as, like any and surgeons, what can I do for this? And we just spoke about on instagram.

what did you say to do?

I just left you like this for a while and really didn't use IT too much.

So was IT a fracture in the sense where they didn't have to bolt?

IT together is the same one when people punch .

you all or something?

Oh OK like, yes. So that one didn't need anything. But I mean, I just, I was a lot of porter and stories like that. I was like, he not broken. My broken.

see is not so good medical over there.

No, not that. Yeah, now that was was a while place. It's not cool again. Anybody tics for staff either? No, yes. I mean, i've had plenty of times i've gone to the doctor like this is staff. I need antibodies, but I don't want to be told like by some fuck in an idiot that they like diagnosing .

themselves, giving .

themselves the treatment and they reit resisted. Just puts the .

me on a boy, oh boy, yeah.

But I get IT of guys to give me give me this right.

But no one's coming in to get in a biotics for fun. Yeah, I mean, it's not like pain killers.

No, yes. yeah. I guess I could control a bit. But yeah, just have .

to do with like people come .

in and so .

so much anxious, I can do enough in the office may able to give you something just to call .

me down that's .

a that's a good play. Really depends on the .

doctor to some doctors are just a little loose with IT yeah.

So I feel like honest, they probably have some sort of what can deal to like, know, my wife's mom is a nurse, and SHE would explain to me how the whole pharmaceutical rap thing working. Brigden brigham from whistle, well, he used to be a pharmaceutical p is like like the relationship they have a doctor is like, it's so slippery.

Yeah, it's so slippery because, you know, even if they're not paying you and they do pay people, but even if they're not like, this is your friend, they show up. I was like, I would show up with the kids soft power games. I knew everybodys name.

You become friendly. They want to prescribe your drugs here. Good guys. Yeah, it's fucking creepy.

But like us, the OPPO at epidemic stuff.

I oh, that's exactly. Did you ever watch that show? Pain killer? Er.

on netflix I start, but never finished in fucking .

it's so fucked up. How those people are not in jail is insane. Not only did they bullshit people and get people to prescribe these things, but they they ruined who knows how many lives, hundreds of thousands of people of, not millions dead from opioid overdoses and then the amount of lives destroyed because of those things. Families reacted everything, and they trick people. They trick them into doing drugs that are going to be.

they just paid a fine, right? Massive fine.

Well, yeah, but not enough. It's also the part of the fine was that they were gone to avoid prosecution. Like if they paid x amount of billions of dollars, they would avoid prosecution. But I think that pain killer came out the documentary, came out the network series, and then they kind of withheld that. And I think one of the guys who was the main guy for the fda that was responsible for Green lighting um oxy con and oxy code, that guy they found him he is like a in a small town, new hampshire yeah I mean they paid him off. This fucker was out there room around and they found him as except she's in jail somewhere, eventually going get and swimming or something .

and that do you worry about that? I mei ship OK .

that's not comforting. Should be alright.

yeah. I mean, this would be a family competition IT is that?

But it's also like you're specifically going head to head, like if you had done in a month earlier or a month later. I don't think we have the same issues.

I don't think we have the same impact on the sport though either.

I think you would to .

do IT the month out there as well. Wow, go on my body. Another million go on again.

What you want to do IT once year, right? You don't want do IT more than one year?

Yeah I want. I'm on the phone, on staff pay, talking people about the seven and stuff that explain over on .

the role set yeah and becoming a prom you have to hurt to ask now you have to hire e all these people to run .

the thing and on the ideas guy know my business, i'm like he's doing all the a coordination and stuff. But i'm just told to the athletes coming up with the roles sort .

of so he does all the coordination like hiring the staff make you sure the the event as well run because I would imagine you've never run an event before like that's obviously can't call abedi and ask for tips you yes.

I sort he loves IT that's like, yeah I had to to .

him with the .

name as well yeah I think the having .

something where there's more money involved is always good. It's just like the timing of IT is like when to do IT is if what if you asked me anything.

they still get to watch the final. Well, yeah, true.

They still get to watch fanes. They get to watch the finals. But you won't have the same people competing because if they gonna compete on friday and saturday, that precludes them from being able to compete in Alberti.

I mean, yeah for sure. Do you want the gold metal on ten k over a million?

That's right. That's the argument. That is the argument, right? And it's it's certainly the competition is almost always good, even when people don't like IT IT forces them to up their game. And I think at the end the day, it's going to be good for the athlete, is good for the because to make people work in the beef, the beat, you know.

two pack biggie, i'm going down in vegas like to back.

Remember how both of those guys died though, by the way, they died very badly. Two pop and biggie, like, you would have been Better if two pop and biggie just going to worked IT out like, I mean, even like drake and kendra.

like that was entertaining.

but drake house got shot at, you know, like someone in a security shot. And yeah.

and then we got some good music.

so I don't .

security IT. I mean, yeah, yeah, I was good. I just find IT for the bave.

No beef guy. I I feel like those guys could the wrote, banging and songs they build, put out four songs each you know like there's that creativity and just.

yeah I guess driven. I mean.

I get IT, I get IT it's part of the culture. I get IT don't get me wrong. Like I like .

rose battles .

due comedy that .

would .

amazing. Yes, amazing rap battles are awesome. It's just, you know, it's another opportunity to right, another opportunity create something .

and it's high pressure. yes.

So in that sense, this rivalry between A, D, C, C and the C J I.

this is one australian native. That's the city. And I will see .

what I yeah versus a monarchy monkey about me.

I still love that is love that history you think you can wash the other way is amazing.

yeah. Um do you think you could ever compete for them again? I think that's over now.

I mean, I wouldn't have ten. K I don't know. I mean, who knows that? Does the those of anything? I didn't take any of this not too seriously.

You don't mean a lot of us just fun on the internet like I don't really you know like fucking around and having a good time. You know like um i'll do anything for the right press. Sounds like if the spectacles people are interested .

in so you would go back if they would have you back.

For sure. And ultimately, what I want and what I wanted from day one was just athletes across everything into you tude to be compensated just a little bit more, you know, because again, we do not .

have the prestige rap from ten when IT really wow boy, they're probably going fuck yeah.

that's that's really what sort of kick IT up. But also I wanted to do like this is opportunity to start up an on profit and stuff. So it's like giving me opportunity, get back in other otherwise.

So with your this attitude about not taking things so seriously, do you think you and gordon would ever bury that?

Had to if the show but text, a mda will get to the bottom of, you know, 还没 给你, you know. I mean.

don't you think though that for a guy to be as dominant as he is, you have to be that guy that's like Michael Jordan in his prime? They said, if you beat him in the game and pull you and talk you for like two weeks, you just have to be kind of those cycle.

I know, but you see I guess you see the contrast in some areas like in my opinion, volkan oski was that gsp?

Was that but really nice guy.

Yeah and a silver was that like I again, I don't think, gordon, I mean, it's it's hard to say what he is. You know it's it's like it's hard. I don't know that well, you know, I know what the image puts out. I know a little to do the stuff on the sales.

but but you trained with them for years. You've gotta know.

But you know what you do. You guys are like, get on the math. I don't want to hang out with the most is windows.

Who can have a conversation? Is this guy me? That's why you here, some of, some of, some of, I don't .

think that I love .

my part of the people .

would make the world go around though.

Oh yeah, I mean, for critical, i'm fucking away. Look at, i'm definitely weird. But some people I find all used to talk to life.

I know it's just for me as a guy who likes bolt. You guys, I don't like that you don't talk anymore, don't like that you have this beef. And i've asked gordon to define IT.

He does doesn't define IT. It's very difficult. He doesn't say something bad about body.

doesn't define IT. I mean, I to just love fuck around like australia. We love attacking each other.

like I say, working to my friends and I say to gordon, talk wild shit to each other. Two.

some guys are so good to provoke. You get a good fucking and reaction .

out of well with comedians. You know who you can hang out with, but who can take shit. You know, because like if someone makes fun of me, if it's funny I laugh, but if you make one of some people they like, hey, I like, oh, look at you.

Oh, fuck up. You take yourself seriously. You should take what you do seriously because you never take yourself seriously.

That's so silly, there's no benefit to that because then you don't get to enjoy the laughs when someone makes fun of you, someone makes one of you and the through like if you're watch, kill tony yeah yeah. Well, when David lucas and tony hand to go out each other, IT is one of my favor. Things in life.

There's the volt. So fuck and ruthless and hello. But if David gets tony, tony laughs hard.

And if tony gets David, David laughs hard. They laugh. They love each other. They're really good friend, but they're fucked and ruthless when IT comes to that shit when they're roast in each other. But they're having a good time. Like if you rose someone and they get like actually upset as a comedian, all they are the comedians be like look at you, you're upset at a joke. You fucked and help create like what's wrong with you well.

I mean that what I mean go and go and says you suck and know what anything I could relaxed that like .

that the what is the beef though? Like IT doesn't make sense. I mean.

if I just have a good time, like it's like ominous sport of people to take themselves very seriously, right? And it's this. He takes itself very serious. Ly.

so just like you like picking.

I like, yeah anyone you know I like, I mean, like what you say the comedians you know to you get a ten of IT sometimes yeah and it's good material. He's like, he's just walking good material. It's like he's provoking me. Well, you just post something that i'm like, I swear my this guy is playing a fucking character is a genius, but it's real like he's biting me. I gotto say something.

well, you are probably the funny sky, and you just do other than ety. Edie layers add.

loves the jugs, so he gets sometimes. I passed on in some deepa levels of the drugs. And I guess the first story loves that we got deep conspiracy on the judge.

say, jack, oh no, e's edie fucked and hilarious. He's one of the funniest people i've never met. So glad he's doing stand up again too, because I tried to talk about to doing stand up a long time ago. Like pack, like two thousand and one like dude, i'm telling you just try, you will suck at first but just like it's sucked when I learned you use to you soccer first but you have the ability to do .

IT ah and he .

took a long time of IT. But when he was teaching, he would teach classes and and especially seminars. He would have like material, oh yeah, they would do during seminars that was hilarious. And then like, I think comedy. So teaching seminars.

that's what I do. I'll say the same joke. And then I look like that that I was at another is the same thing like.

you know, tricks, yes yeah, that's the problem with jokes yeah, austerity know the jokes.

It's like a little, a little bit of an ish yeah witch.

yeah, got to make new stuff up. You got to make up new, do stuff for seminars. When you go and do seminars, you find IT.

It's uh, a lot, it's a lot of M, M, A fighters that want to learn. Judge sues is just judge to guys. Is that a mixture?

And now IT is like, man, it's like such a variety. People like us, even beginning is like wide belts to show up and it's like hang, just come in to hang out. You know, like I love doing seminars all around the world and just making the people that are doing the sport, you know, and like I I keep in a really affordable Price, because I always remember when people come to my city, like sometimes the similar are expensive I can afford.

So I just insist we book a big venue. We keep the Prices low. And I just get to see who from that country is participating in the sport.

You know, I just love IT is that you enjoy that more than competing .

now just going around and I enjoy all aspects thing i've done like back to back to back to back. I'd like the same one. I'll be three hours and then out of that otherwise it's too much social interaction.

You know we will probably also .

don't absorb anything after three hours. So like and I have the world like, I still run the going to come. If you like me, what do you doing to me? Yeah, relax.

Like i'll be. Hang over jet legs and there will be leg i'll be to all do you like sometimes one out one and a half hours straight new guy, every three minutes. Oh god.

And i'm like, what do you do to me about it's working one hour and you trying to kill me? yeah. After while I test, you pay just meditating. And i'm just like, kill this.

That's why the legendary hicks and stories that hicks IT would do a seminar and then take all the black belts there and just .

have them one after another. I try to be fucked up. SHE had the .

stupid emissions .

that keep an entertaining, like, you remember that forever .

you see that one guy did IT never made. Yeah, so crazy that would her.

I've never been put in that.

But yeah, what is? Is that a flexibility? Things on a spine.

thing thing break is, yeah, I do some people for mount, I give a mount, and then I put my dose in the armpits, taking over the top boston crab. Er, let the fun of the seminar is hidden, fucked up show on people in front of their friends.

I think that's the most enjoyable thing. Here's the duty did IT never made.

he said, IT up, jesus.

He has climbed over the top. He got his legs.

The other guy looks like his fighting .

for his life and other evening. Well, the other guy is a little shape to just a little luggage to the face. It's like he's already ready .

for IT IT looks fake. Ay.

I don't think it's fake. I think it's just a low level. And imation, wow, that's crazy.

Fuck tec. I would never hear the end of that day. Remember a guys to train with actually menses me and he had M, M. I fight, and he tabbed a one for three rounds. And a minute. I got thirteen seconds ago, he cross his leg from back in the, and if I can remind of IT to this day to, yes.

that is a crazy submission that hurts. You know oh IT hurts like how but you got to imagine like if you're winning the fight, i've I don't think i've ever seen an M M A fight or someone tapped to that.

I'll say what guys .

do IT guys do IT even hicks and did IT when hicks and submitted funaro ies cross his legs, I guess he just rather have the squeak. And if the guy threatened, it'll let you go.

yeah. Sometimes, I think is about being relaxed. It's like you can catch IT really time. Ankles are relax. Sometimes they slip off that I think relaxing in and sometimes helps.

We're also being hyper aware when they got lift his leg up to try to lock IT. But yeah, i've had to done to me before. It's fuck and horrible people .

try to do that to me at seven. And I like I will try and play around and then catch me. Ism should just like, fuck in, relax, guy fucked in.

You have to always be aware, right? Because you're dealing with people trying to get .

a reputation to break my legs. everything. Have you ever tapped at someone? Yeah, tapped. But i'll give him a couple more so that I believe, you know, their friends who believe they get me once, but not three times you know, like if a blue bell test me to seminar one time, maybe people .

believe couple couple more. I throw in a few .

takes the story of us three times yeah.

once maybe I tell you how the fuck you tap and crack. Jones, this doesn't make .

sense to take the story away from.

What if you ever tap .

to a seminar at a seminar and a gogo? And no, but I had similar some time at time because I fucked around. I'll give me give my bag moba. And then i'm always like guys i'm going to give you positions by like I give you get IT i'll have like, yeah very relax I go to yeah I got to yeah yeah they try yeah somebody guys try to kill .

you next one, two, you are hurt now like when guys get like alderman got a discrete placed in his neck, that was a rule and your neck is gone like that a fucked and creepy one.

That's guise. Yeah, I think I just retire that point. You know.

Chris, why me got sorry first? I think he got his disregard, ed, as well. I think you have the same thing and there's a few guys have had this replaced in their back and in their neck. You know, they can do that titanium articulating this now, like where IT lows your neck to moves pretty Normally.

but like how long is at last. I just tap to everything can not put in much if and I feel like is my wife train in the guys yeah this that's .

smart but that's an ego thing. You have a healthy ego.

I'm just like who guys you know like it's like, yeah that's the .

point yeah what's definitely Better than going out like you know any moglie with letting your fucking and like get destroyed like that. If you can just relax like that and allow yourself to get tapped, you will save so many injuries. I control the security .

footage in the camera man and those, so i'll make the footage disappeared. He, get in your gym. Yeah, that's just get delete that that's the problem.

right? Guys want to release footage.

I wanna sell IT. Hey, like if you come the gym on where they tell me.

give me, give me some money.
