In this episode of the full nerd rises, burned up baby and battle december question mark, you couldn't hear that in my lost point.
I like the way that and .
welcome to episode three hundred and twenty five of the fuller PC world's weekly podcast about PC building news i'm your filling host, adam patric murray, but I am joined by some, some amazing people and me. I'm going to call you amazing people. The first amazing person here on the screen is bread shark s well.
thank you. I would consider myself just a guy. But hello, I am. Hello, internet.
Just a guy. Bread, just a guy. Bread, oh, we're trying. My blue sky is your handle. Uh, just bread shark .
s the same thing on twitter and a blue sky.
Those should be the bread choko toko. You missed an opportunity.
I had to had my account verified on twitter, facebook and instagram back in the day because people kept run in the crypto scams in my name. I tried to .
around the office. Well, if you're on blue sky, you should definitely follow brad charges and PC world and hopefully soon the full nerd you know who once you should also follow on blue sky is will smith. Hello, will.
hi. I'm just got on people, amazing people.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then controlling .
the verdicts horizontal is a will slide. Hello, hello everyone. Happy tuesday.
I need a new a handle, a for blue guy. Be a that worker. yeah. So early on in my internet life, I definitely had a handle. But now, like now, i've pretty much just been my name for the past two decades.
How do what you guys feel did do you do you like having your actual public name like, cause you just don't want to do with this lie? I i've done IT uh, for professional uh yeah a work media cases. I I think for this one I don't know a one of the instagram making is uh for for food uh related so they can change that to wills eat everything, villa sets, everything.
I mean, you can get a lot of domains right now. You can get .
dot l .
for two ninety nine. Yes.
maybe taken.
That's a hot ones. That that is a name picking.
picking a hot ones, speaking a hot ones. We have my my little accessory box here. It's only got one. It's only .
got one item .
minute today. I'm i'm going to let you do the honnor of what's in this accessory box because IT relates to these .
boxes here this oh.
you didn't know what I put in there was post you know it's it's like. Ai, yeah, over overall. What is that? I IT is a die.
This one is D I think it's not not only is at any dice I have in front of me. I have in front of me two boxes. One of them is a game's nexus die set.
Is this a product placement bit? Yes, Steve handed a bunch of a money to me, and i'm placing his product on the full nerd. So there you go.
Full nerd today brought you by a campers and nexus die sets. I got two die sets. Um this one is the cat. So the thing is, I am not someone who plays with with this. I don't do dn d you ever get a dnb bread?
yeah. Mean, my girlfriend and my kids .
wear into IT. Did do you have .
a lot of dice sets around them? four?
five.
And I am actually thinking about buying that exact die set for my daughter Christmas. He doesn't want to show. So was another boy.
I actually have an extra one. So, well, i'll sended out.
So I ve only ever played dn d. Virtually like I started playing in the pandemic and we played virtually. So you were just hitting a button and IT would tells what the numbers were. So i've never thrown a real I mean, I thrown a real d twenty before, but not for this .
type of it's worth. It's so worth at the play in person. It's so much fun.
Well, yeah.
like I, I, I played d nd for so long. I used to be. I set up like a dictionary pot in irc chat rooms back like the nineties, so we can play virtually over. See, nice also. Yeah.
I mean, i've been to plenty of like conventions and stuff where is just like always like random tables just full of buckets of dice, you know and for me and so it's just been A A diamond dozen kind of thing but like these are these are nice dice set.
Not only is that come with the dice, are these two come with a how was set a world? World craft is magic together to gathering ing cards a magic, the gathering cards a one of them is a CEO snowflake, very important. The other one is a custom um goblin where do you you .
have the cat in charge of the company for tax purposes? You think that .
you're going have to talk to Steve about OK OK um but yeah so it's the dye. I will say I do have a little bit of aggrievement. Uh Steve, if you're watching, uh, you might get to call for all our lawyers because the PC world power symbol is engraved on the top here and and I don't think our lawyers are gonna that. So yes, I don't yeah see that PC world, but I don't .
think that's a PC world. I don't want to be the guy here .
since since one thousand nine hundred and eighty three PC world has used used the power symbol. So um so yeah this is this is the snowflake one IT comes with yes so IT comes in here. IT has a little padding things.
I took him out, has a lid. It's it's like a weird divider thing. I'm not quite sure what that's for, but maybe because i'm not into. But then the other seven, eight, one, two, three, four or five, six, seven, yes, seven. And hear everything from A D twenty .
to A A D four. Okay, I have a question.
And yes, inside each one of these days is a little snifty is a cat a little cat?
But it's not IT looks like it's going to make a role weird because they're not a centered.
You know if you watch Steve s announcement video, he said he did a ton of testing and you know, they're somebody who likes to test .
is definitely Steve. I know that he likes to test, but like usually so I can I do my thing. I had my Normal diet point here.
Okay, here we go. Yeah so work like just tell people what you're doing. So for audio listener.
this is a standard. It's just a purple deep when I got the conference one point .
IT doesn't .
kind of want just you get a bag for of them and it's just random of .
window did the testing. Oh.
oh, okay. So so you spend this and it'll just just spend like the top if you do that, right? So like it'll go for a really long time.
Just on one point .
that that goes pretty good.
Yeah, goes pretty good.
That was a bad spin too.
I go by measure's ized you, yeah.
I see I cake. But is this .
also A D twenty?
This is A D twenty, and it's warbling Steve. Steve sold as wbi d twenties.
I don't know about this. I don't know.
I would use this internal plays.
What i'm saying, I will say the the only other saying in somebody assistance shed is if it's sharp. These are very sharp. So I do wonder. So this d twenty has very rounded corners. So I wonder if that adds this one .
is may be I just .
have to get the cat .
on the right access. It's still a little lobby.
okay.
but that I feel Better about this now. I couldn't get this to work out the one of the coil generated magnetic fields. And I think .
jack up a necessary getting about T, L, D, R. I'm not in the dice, but I mean the cats, yeah so I really like having these days around and you know, if we ever need to make a decision, like, hey, do we think the R T X forty series, fifty series are going to cost? We did do die roll and fifty ninety and will do a multiplayer on IT. So here through two to .
the multiple er that's the thing here. Here's A D ten and there's there's your OK yeah .
which one do we do first? Doesn't matter OK. Let's do this d land on fifteen times .
eight .
times eight.
So that's elf, hundred dollars.
Fifteen times eight equals no. That's one hundred and fifty. No, fifteen, eight. Yeah, fifteen times eight. That's what I did.
I would take .
a fifty ninety for that, yeah or no. Add a zero onto IT. So dollars. So one .
hundred and .
fifty eighty dollars is a fifty ninety as according to gamers nexus. Yeah ah so I wonder if you roll a certain number, will you matic, ally, summer, Steve. Like like actually i'm thinking so like the twenty on here, I don't know it's always the highest number, but i'm going to assume IT is uh has a little G N logo on IT OK.
So yeah i'm going to say if if you would land on the G N. Logo, then Steve does show up OK. Uh, also there is a there is an interesting there's an interesting smell to the set.
Uh, I can neither confirm nor deny that this is the same smell of Steve hair spray. Well, because I know he package all these so yeah, i'm not all of these by hand. Well, and maybe maybe while he was doing IT, he was just know, like touching up his hair is a little bit, if that is the smell of his hairspray.
I'm not going to confirm tonight. So, and yes, thank you. data. Trust my nose on things because I, I do like smell things. A speaking of smelling things I smoove loved to smell what I burned up, hundred and three smell.
which you don't.
I do. I really.
yes. So yeah, look this. So our our first topic, oh, I note it's kind of a slow week, you know, not a time of stuff going on. So now to take a little bit what we're to talk for, never.
never apologize.
yeah. Well, the first story is about A A rise in seven, ninety, eighty hundred x 3d that that ran too hot, ran too close to the sun and burned out. And at first I feel like everyone is like bracing themselves because if you remember when the seventy eight hundred extra came out, there are some voltage issues that LED to you, actual bubbles on CPU and motherboards burning up.
I have a link in the in the chat or in the description to a video cards article um where was first reported um that I could tell um about yeah this ready user that has some some very obvious burnt ks not only on their CPU but also on the the socket itself and I feel like a lot of people were like, oh no here IT is again so but and and even even amaziah sent out a statement I should have linked to IT, uh, here but mas, I was like, oh, hey, we really care about the quality of our motherboards. We're looking into a with Steve from gamers nexus. So you know, they're serious. I think Steve ve been purchased IT from the the redit or just to do something .
there actually two reports of this. There is one on a chinese form called .
quasar zone. And yeah.
Steve bought the one off the red guy. The interesting part about this is that they were both M S size, M A G X eight seventy, tom hawk wifi thero ard ah, so both are tied to that mother's board. I spent this morning looking at the actual pictures, and if you look the actual pictures like, I can understand why everybody's worried about this.
We had the issue with last gen where think was pretty IT was across the board but was largely issues rog motherboards that had the voltage s oc issues and then obviously the whole intel thing. But looking at these um there's some damage around the outside of the bracket, like the plastic part on the outside of the brace on both of them. And I think if this was a widespread issue, we went have seen many more.
This by now does do you do what's is the theory that they put the CPU in upside down and no.
the theory that the he didn't properly see the CPU because the little plastic piece was kind of poking out, so wasn't properly seated LED to hear short, yes, some sort of shorted issues which LED to the the burning of the socket and the CPU policy.
you bright that off and to work .
out either one of them posted. So yeah.
yeah.
And that's a big difference from the asus one from last year. Two, like the issues, the s oc able to disuse is something that popped up after several weeks, several months of time. So it's just been too much voltage for too long of a period. These they both have owner or go head.
sorry.
these they both have damage. You can see on the the plastic bit at the outside of the suket, both on the top and on on the sides. Uh, IT could be user error, who knows? I don't want to cast blame on people without knowing what's to go on.
But if those came like that from the manufacturer, IT could draw IT off by a couple degrees. And then when you wedge in, you would still be able to plant down with the retainer spring or whatever you call IT. And if it's just off a couple agrees. I could see something like this happening .
also chat saying the the the pines are bent on both boards that sounds like IT IT IT seems like it's some sort of uh. Could be a mixture of the massi board coming with with problems and then the the user kind of slotting IT in and not realizing what they had done. So yeah, I think excuse me, I think either way, IT does warrant further investigation.
That's for sure. I don't know how how deep of knowledge that these these people who have these cps are, but I would say for A A Normal person just building a PC. I mean, you just slam IT in there like I don't inspect every socket that I have to be like I mean, you can tell if there's .
like bent pins immediately .
and yeah you see that. But other than that, no, i'm not checking the plastic bits around the edge or anything like that you just putting for me.
I've never seen this little like for people who are if you're going to look this up, you can search for the motherboard model M S I tomahawk H X eight seven burn but like there's a little divided at the top left side of the socket where IT looks like IT just either got smashed down or like was out like there was a pete. They've got a faulty socket. Maybe it's hard to say I don't know the left.
right side to both 哦 yeah, yeah yes. It's like maybe they .
didn't have a quite lined up and then smashed in with the thing. I just this is one of the situations where if you're careful, you're usually not a problem. That the other thing to remember is on on the five launches, they had some other problems too.
They had some like weird U S. Bees stuff going on. The devolved stuff like like when you buy brand new stuff, it's always a little higher risk and waiting six months and buying IT after it's been out for a while.
But this is IT in x eight seventy mother board. So a brand yeah brand new motherboard obviously rise and nine thousand. So but I mean.
the sockets been around for a while. It's not like it's a new socket this time. Yes, I don't know. This feels like user error or manufacturing error. Maybe a little bit colum, a little column.
I could genuine see IT be an either. I don't think it's a deeper issue. I think it's either masa shipping these out with that weird being at the top that's like slightly missoni when you close to retainer bracket IT bds those pins because itself by like to read or something or I could see people just put IT in backwards and force in that pin down and that's love ends all those pens yeah.
if you put IT in upside down and then smashed IT down, that would absolutely A A boarding that we can just up CPU and fired up sea. What happens?
Yeah, you you definitely can't just flip IT. I mean, those there was a little those little tabs out of the end like I know that would stop for sure. I mean.
you think that, but IT turns out it's it's like it's the rule of Victory. Pts, right? You have somebody a pair of vice scripts. You can make all sorts of things that seem like they ouldn't work work and and this seems like it's the .
more would be surprised. yes.
So bread, do you would you recommend people who have this motherboard? Like actually you don't take deconstruct their computer to see if they have a problem.
not whatsoever um to me like this looks like either like I said and from the manufacturer ityou or a user installation issue. And in both of these cases, I was reading up on they did not post and go to this top as expected. So if you have this board and you have this chip and your pcs is running fine, I think you're good to go. I don't think this is indicated a deeper issue whatsoever.
Yeah, it's like there's no if it's if it's posting in working, there's no reason to take IT apart and risk you know having this problem.
What is kind of like the same thing. We see a total power plug zu was raided for certain many of insertions, but people kept like pulling IT out to to check to see if I was burned.
Well, I mean, it's not that as much as like the travel high power, like there was definitely a problem where if if you didn't click IT in place, which is again a little bit of a little bit user error, this feels more like there's some sort of flaw somewhere in the manufacturing ing processor. Maybe there's a batch polity socket out there, whatever. But if if you IT looks like if you put the right engine first on this and then let IT drop down, you're probably going to be OK. And then taking IT out could cause you to have the problem if if you take that out and receded and not exactly the right way.
Well, yes.
for these things are super tight, that incredibly tight when he comes to manufacturing, but tight enough where if it's off a few degrees and you use that retainer ring to climb down, I can told me yeah yes.
So leg said emacs um to the statement. Seems like they're working with with Steve to do some more testing.
Well, I think that kind of the final piece of the puzzle is a how is msi going to handle the situation? Because you know that usually in these kind of situations, there's a lot of pressure on being like, okay, you know, how are you gonna address IT? Are you going to make IT right by the customer who has been affected? What kind of things are you doing in the community? I mean, so far they have they ve you seem to quickly have addressed issue partners with somebody like Steve is is obviously a good thing.
So the next step is to see, okay, how widespread is IT? How willing are they to come out and say if there is a problem that anybody needs to address? Uh and then, you know, does does the warranty actually cover something like this well?
And does this thing, if you're worried about this kind of thing, is when you're seeing the socket, the CPU on the socket, before you clap IT down, make sure that you can see the keys on the side they are lined up, right, and they're both poking through. And like the CPU should nettled down that socket when you're lower IT in there, IT shouldn't be IT should not be proud and above the edge of the socket and then rely on the pressure of the clamp to push IT down. That's that's not what.
And usually what I like doing is just like looking the edges of the CPU to really just like make sure it's like IT goes in their smooth. I'm just kidding. Do not like cp s, you can smell C, P, S, but leaking .
the paste off is totally fine.
But we o, i'm kidding. I'm kidding. ding. yeah.
Brad, have have you ever been any any pins yourself? Not not. Came off the line with bunks.
How the the most horrible thing I ever did, I was on an incredible deadline for something, an extreme edition in tailboard. And I got the the hardware in the day before the embargo. And so I was russian to put IT together. I just straight the CPU into the socket .
like corner first. yeah.
And I spent a good jyne of the paints and the mother board, but like I said, I was on deadline for like eight and nine in the next day. So I would sit there with a magnifying glasses of and twisters and straight them all out and then get testing done. And I didn't sleep for I think I was like.
fifty hours did the work.
I did work. Yeah, you can usually unbend pins unless you break them entirely.
So I just like drop in a CPU.
And there you drop seven hundred into the five board really yeah and like I was like a little tiny circle because I caught IT, but at the corner heads and I was like, well, time to get out the mechanical pencil and my magnet black. This is why having one of those clap on magnifying glasses with the light on IT is really important. Oh yeah, really one.
Because you can, like, get IT right down in there and you can see everything. And like, this is one of the amazing human brain things, right? As if you magnify what you're looking at, your your brain will automatic scale down the movement of your hand to match that magnification. So if you're like working on a dissecting scope, you can do tiny, tiny little movements with your fingers. That's pretty good.
That's actually what I want to do. And I wants to run into the hardware store and buy in one of those.
And this still took me like three hours all like IT was awful. I can't imagine you you get on something. Really, really see you couldn't just .
go get another guard IT. IT was the day before IT was like two thousand dollars with the hardware. And i'm like, oh, no.
no, no.
Well, that's in the entire ones before they started putting in the flying on the side of the he spread ter that you could kind of rip onto the lowered and IT was really easy to just drop IT because I was just straight edges and you had to line IT up exactly right. And you were inspired to do IT in an angle and like, flipped day anyway.
Yeah yeah. Hi way. And I have definitely posted planning of parts.
Here we are for this issue I think is like a lot of people are ruin scary headlines with this. But the natural analysis that i've seen pretty much alliance of what we've said here, like don't worry about IT like this, is either an emaciated issue on two boards out of however many they're sold or a user air issue. So don't avoid thousand, eight hundred and thirty just because of these .
two reports on a scale of one to twenty, let's see how much Steve thinks you should worry about IT h seven hundred twenty. So yeah, don't worry about IT too bad.
Be careful when you're assembling but don't make a changes in person. Yeah, that's what made.
It's a mixed bag, mixed bag speaking, a mixed bag. Intel battle manages around the corner yeah, you know if if you know this show, you know that brad loves to talk about rumors. Ah, there has been A D I.
He loves. There has been A A bubbling of battle age rumors for a while and and we've kind of touch on him here there. But you know it's mostly rumors, but there is a brand new one that seems to indicate some things going on. I've a link over to a thom's hardware article by a some saying that this newest league is a is an actual like shipping manifest for two um looks like intel b five eighty uh GPS this is this is for the boxes, right? This is for the boxes yeah uh and and they're theorizing that this means that test top parts could be launching .
in december. I mean, I said at last week, fl wants to make a splash with the GPU the time to do this before in video rules out five eighties and AMD rules out whatever next. Five thousand series of five bodies.
R X five eight, R X five bread。 In terms in terms of your the league master in in terms of this league, how you feeling about this one?
I don't think you'll the leak master until the seventy five this one. There's a lot of smoke. I'm not convinced of fire at the very well may be because this follows up a report from early november that said, hey, you know we're hearing that uh, in december there might be a battle age teaser that was from golden .
pig I believe .
the by rated trustworthy .
by PC gamer 点 com is my understanding yeah well.
he's pretty alright on on the leeboo chat. In general, we're seeing this l bmg b five eighty shipping manifest on the site. That tracks should be manifest. That's really easy to fake. So take that with a big punch of salt.
But you know that combined with there's another rumor that just came out this week that adam didn't mention a tea from a guide named tom mar T O M A S C, and then go on ski like a polish name or something like that somewhere around there. There are a dater minor who actually have a pretty good record for releasing stuff. And they found a teaser image about intel arc battle age s soc, twelve, twenty, twenty four. So there's an awful lot of smoke around this. I'm not sure if there's fire I I agree with will I think that I would be smart for until to get out ahead of AMD and video, but personally, I haven't heard anything .
about this. So well, I guess here's the next thing. They could just teese IT.
They could just be like, hey, guess what? Battle major for coming soon, C S, twenty, twenty five, two in? Or do you think it's could be an actual launch of parts in december next month?
I would doubt IT to be an actual launch, except for a paper launch this close to the holidays. Most to see yes, I could see them doing a teaser and say, hey, it's coming early january. But considering that battle majors X, C to architecture is already the architecture inside of bunning, a lake, I could see them have already been working on this. So I could see a go on either way, to be honest.
We have IT. I wonder, like for me, he depends on what their goal is right right now until has some stock market problems that are the successor failure of their independent of the standard and discrete GPU part. And if they think they can get wall street excited about a discrete GPU that's going to be really good for doing A I training or whatever, maybe there's they'll roll out some announcement early. I don't like they're not going to move in need all unless they're very confident they're gonna beat black well in discrete GPU land, which I don't think anybody thinks is possible.
No, no, I feel like they hadn't even tried to to say .
anything like yeah no, like it's it's just it's just a nonsensical thing to say. So I think that they're probably annoy something. And mave and starship like IT would make sense for them to start shipping like the existing gp user. Sexes are both pretty old at this point. And and if they have something that's competitive with existing gene hardware at a really good Price point, I mean, why not just wrote that I would starship in those cards?
Or the thing i'm thinking of is that we already know invited is coming out swinging at the hand. Yes, fifty, ninety two thousand dollars a AMD is already eluded to. Hey, you know what? We're not shooting for the high end.
We're going and solidly for that mid range. I think that does leave an opening for intel to be like how that's cute. You know what? We're coming in right here, two hundred dollars, boom, battle made SHE, not two hundred. I have no idea we could roll to see what the Price is going to be. But like, like for me, I think it's more like they do have an opportunity to be like, okay, that that's really cool that they're going for that we're not going for that we're going for every man, you a nice solid card that that it's going to do you some good. But where we're really aimed in for that, that entry level user and I I would say the the number scheme, at least on this shipping manifest, this is A A B five eighty, which is not even the higher either because that, that would be a replacement for the b three eighty, which was .
there's an eight, five body.
Oh, there is an eight, five, eight. yeah. So they will, i'm sorry yes, be battle mage the a alchemist so yeah so would would be an a 5 eighty replacement which is not even the high end of the the alchemist stack。 So ah I I just .
when I searched google news for a battle mage GPU imminent, I get articles dated january fifteen, twenty twenty four, july seven, twenty twenty four, August eighth, twenty twenty four, apple second twenty twenty four, july tenth, twenty twenty four, one month ago, one month ago, one years ago, one week ago.
seven hours ago has I wait for battle mages around for a bit?
It's it's a .
trending on blue sky. There's no trending .
on blue sky. That's the home point. It's tonto.
I'm going to make this .
trend on blue can but but yeah if they have an every every man card like a real solid and A D P at at a nice Price, that's that's that's compelling. And like their driver, sch is Better now that I was when they launched the first gene parts like the lunar way, drivers have been pretty solid from the I ve been done a time games testing, but I was impressed with what I did try.
You're good. Very good.
Yeah.
yeah. To me, like, who knows, maybe they do. Do they pull up some spectacular? Would seriously, when they go from the whole stack.
But to me, the entry point for a battle mage would be like both. Video, A M D basically left three hundred eight dollars and below alone, like if they can pull out a super solid tena tip card. And even for two to three hundred dollars, announced before in video comes out and announced, this is twenty five hundred dollars. Three, eight, fifteen, ninety lake, I can see why they want to do that.
I mean, we're in a weird spot where it's like supercars. When the bogota varion came out, right, like all the sudden there was this one car that was way faster than anything else, anybody else was doing by by, like an enormous amount. And all the sudden the interesting stuff started happening at much lower Price points. And like the 44 and ninety nineteen ninety, like i'll i'll be impressed if anybody comes out with something as fast as a forty ninety, this generation. That's not idea.
I mean the seven nine hundred D X C.
X was pretty close in in in ruster and peer restart. Yes yeah I was damn close. Um but here's here's the other thing that I think could be and you tell me what you think about this.
We have yet to see high and laptop intel laptop early CPU yet, right? Could this be in relation to high and laptop? Could could this be a laptop part and not an actual discrete .
test top part? IT definitely could be because when, until announced, arrow lake for the dest p, that's one answer. That area, lake h, will be coming to gaming laptops, and that will be, I presume, the basis of the graphics inside of those.
Since IT was, for a lunar lake, a measure about erotic ke, so this could very well be in where speakers see those around. Cc, yes, so this could be a teaser, what we're going to see, to see, yes, and gaining laptops. But I would hope that if they do play on munching battle mage discrete graphic soon, I would hope that they get out for any.
yeah, yeah. That was my other thought. Yeah and yes, I would like does have xe to architecture, but it's it's different than what's in in lunar lake.
And I think the area lake age. So the highland laptop parts will probably care more about that. I GPU and like a desktop part because you assume the test top part are going to be paired with a this year.
So it's how he's really funny to me because when you look at the higher h class game in laptops, they'll always paired with a gp, very good, discreet GPU. And yet they always put the best money into the graphics on those in the signal body is ever going to touch that a side in court?
Well, a but a lot of a lot of workstation laptop users use those two. And like when you're on if if you're using those for productivity in work, having the I GPU for all the times you're not doing three d stuff IT turns out gives you a little bit more battery life in the .
long run that makes.
And I actually really do, once again, I really do like this laptop. IT is a sixteen inch al laptop that does not have a discrete GPU. So like if if they had an error, like each version of this that had a really good igp like like to me like that would be a good use case for someone .
who is looking at this from the perspective of camera on the T, V. I think that's a ridiculously thin laptop to be in that powerful.
Yeah, yeah. I like these sixteen inch laptops that that are are powerful enough, but they don't have a discreet pu. So IT doesn't have to be thicker and heavier and hotter and all that kind stuff.
That's that's my sweet bet as well right now. Switch right. Sis, that right here we go, Steve, through through this day on a scale of Wanda ti or may.
we should do a tense. I like, were changed.
I stand over here. He's to call me and be like, dude, you can you can use one one, one, two, three, four, five is a ten um two, three.
ten now .
is .
also one two.
This is a single digit. So one through ten how likely is that the battle major will launched in december cording to the eight, eight to ten? That's pretty, that's pretty good. That s pretty good.
He was pretty good, but I might have some minor problems.
You know, you guys didn't, uh, someone see if you guys accidentally sun and, uh, gear seekers .
and workers.
what is going on? Glad have you here. I don't know if you have your own done. him.
Blue, oh, you should follow .
gear seekers on blue is a gear seekers? Yeah, okay. Gear seekers dies.
Don't know. Yeah, a front of the show. Data has a very good point. Steve would love the scientific nature of this testing. Yeah definitely .
not leaving chance there's .
member involved to be right.
There are no numbers involved. So I mean, hey, guess what? A december is literally around the corner, so we will probably ly know more soon.
Thirty days. Have september begin in november? Yeah where is the seven days from december right now?
Twelve days from december? I'm not going to mass song going. Trust you here. yes. Um yeah battle mage.
we'll see, see. I'm interested to see what more GPU cores do. Like the literary GPU cores are pretty good for a laptop. I want to see what happens when you put thirty of them giant to create GPU and let her rip.
And it's weir time. And because .
intel obviously needs to make money because they surprisingly have been losing money hand over fist the last year. So but they also desperately need to win. Like to the coral tra was good, but the gaming story and everything just it's not selling very well.
The top ten CPU being told named is on right now or all before that we had the fourteen nine hundred k heaven issues. I feel like little needs to win if they can drop something like this at a competitive Price that does great. Ten A D P gaming, which is still with the vast majority of people play, I think I could be a win form.
So you the weird .
thing about this is that it's not like it's rumor to be an tsf c process cause presuming bly because the GPU chips in the lunar like .
her tsf c and .
two yeah and and I wonder yeah I don't know will see i'm wilderness. Curious if they can hit like R G X forty eight level perf at a much lower Price point. That's that's they'll like the world on higher.
I don't think they're going na get that close. I keep putting more cheap.
I like i'm not a chip design by see just pack more GPU course and there going to get faster, right?
That's how you do you show up in there, make sure the pints aren't been. You know, this is surprising. I remember the eight, seven, seventy. I remember when that dried up on new eg.
And the seven and fifty as well, but the eight, five, eighty, you can actually still get on new age for you got to the iraqi chAllenger, which I think, oh, we have the the Sparkle. H, so the Sparkle is one eighty right now. The Isaac chAllenge version is one seventy, a ten dollar discount sale.
Those are really popular streamers for second for stream pcs because you can do everyone on those and not on a lot of the other cards that are not for to me.
That's we're until can if if they choose to like forge ahead. I feel like art. The first thing was really good for creative tasks like if they keep that going, you can't just keep adding A V one decoder and encoder that doesn't make sense. Yeah they can figure out something to make this adequately add, do all the stuff like you can make IT a great tenant to p card with benefits and really ensure to see I logos.
Wow, you can still get eight seven fifties h and eight seven seventy. Well, okay.
seven seventy was on sale for two hundred and sixty nine dollars last week.
I was okay. I guess I was thinking of the the reference cards they're gone yeah those dried up but yeah you can get here's eight, seven and seventy that aster predator by frost I know front of the shows if, uh, purchase one of these to see how how that that design held up, it's a two seventy. Looks like that's the cheapest eight, seven, seventy out there. So I mean, they're still are still out with cards floating around. Well, well.
hopefully we find out in a month.
Yeah, i'm fine with waiting until twenty, twenty five. So have a new december though still here. I'm not say here.
Yeah, yeah, we have almost two weeks off of for Christmas break, so I I would prefer to enjoy those.
Do I have some video card announcement news for you guys?
Great, great, great. great. Yeah well, once again, kind of A A pinioned news week. So let's let's hop over to q and a if you have any questions right now at and your old and you're watching life in the youtube chat at the founder podcasts is an easy way for us to see at over there.
If you are watching your listeners later, there is a link in the description to our discord a and there is a channel and therefore the following questions you can get your questions in. And hopefully we will read them here on this show. I will say I think I missed a super chat earlier, right? Well, oh yeah, friend, the show ski sayer, thank you so much gave us five canadian dollars.
Said the user burned the CPU installed IT upside down. That is why IT turned on an art all over the place. So um yeah fun time we see fun times.
A there's not a question. There's just a comment from nick says I think battle mage will be like arc a generation behind performance wise but overall not terrible. And for the show wildcats as please do an eight, seven, seventy three bench before december, maybe we will get keys on that. Ah, yeah, um yeah, yeah. Now that might be interesting.
I am curious to see how it's how things have shifted over. I mean, especially now that there's a tunnel unlike G, P, S, in bras like there's the installed base of these is higher.
Yeah uh, alright, go over to the disco. Uh, speaks mentioning key. Uh, S S, uh, will keep to another monthly chicken for battle age. Uh, I really like the series for first and h until, uh, d GPS.
I I would .
love to I think I think that we have an opportunity to uh, expand IT as well. So i'm i'm not quite sure I need to follow with him for the twenty twenty five plans, but I do like that idea. I did think that was very A A good user service to kind of see where is that.
I I mean because arc yeah like definitely they had a lot to work on. But I I mean hopefully battle match doesn't come out in the same kind of state where the months over months you're getting like emails and a inbox being like, guess what? Performance uplift of fifty percent oh great.
Yeah so yeah yes, to me, that's the question leg. If you go back and read my initial art review, like IT starts with here's the six bugs. Iran into here's the fifteen bugs in various games they told me about like the hard work itself is fine in the places that he needs to be, but IT sucks a direct x eleven IT has all these bugs section.
Hopefully by now battle mage will mostly have that move out. Um so I would before committing to IT, I would say that depends on what is like at lunch like if IT comes out, everything's running fine. I don't think there needs to be a monthly checking, but if IT comes out and then a month later, he tells OK we squeak some more out of here. Here's twenty percent then yes .
yeah yes definitely some tube we will see um getting questions over on discord. Liquid R S, seems greg comer comer has left valve after twenty seven years. Now that phil spector has confirmed the microsoft as a handheld in development, do you think there's any meat to the rumors that commer? Q I don't h maybe working on that project or is the gaming community chasing grumpy ins? Um that is that is a good question.
And I did I did see those headlines about what phil said about a handheld. He also said its early days. I don't know yeah I don't think this is anything coming and i'm not familiar with with greg. What was says somebody .
he's been available. Ince three begin my assumption as he came over with game and the microsoft ks when they started well, given that he worked on a half life one and has been there for since the beginning.
but he looks like he was instrumental in steam deck. Well.
that's what people say. But like the way valve works, everybody touches everything. I don't like when somebody who's been at valve since the very beginning and presumably has severely substantial equity options as a result of that decides to leave.
And there fifty five, sixty years old. I assume like there's a couple of things you can assume, right? One is that maybe they just don't want to work anymore, which is totally legitimate. One is maybe microsoft recruit them, maybe somebody else recruit them come to work on handhold stuff like I wouldn't the given that value was founded out of microsoft for all intents and purposes.
And so a lot of those people have microsoft on their resume from the nineties, which is, just to be clear, nineties microsoft and twenty twenty four microsoft, wildly different companies, very you it's not it's not like like google twenty years ago. In google today, wildly different companies. Companies change a lot over that period of time. Valve is very different than I was twenty years ago. So don't I don't I think people get enough their jump to conclusions .
that yeah I also don't know if there is any hard evidence that he is such an instrumental figure in the steam deck. Like you said, I I think a lot of people worked on the steam deck. I have not heard his name, do you you know .
yeah like there's a kind of there's like like laughing is one of the art people I know of. This architect is kind .
the most votes yeah social meet. But I mean.
there a ton of people that work on software, there's a ton of people that work on thing. The way that works is typically somebody gets tapped to be the the human face of a project. So like chat fell eco, he worked with the trade on bay was the vive, the VR, the face of VR, and left ford dead and a bunch of stuff prior to that, because he was willing to do that work and and take the both the good and the bad of being the public face of valve.
In a lot, in a lot of cases, a lot of people just choose to sit quietly and do their work and not be hazzard by dealing with the public which given the way games discourse has gone over the last hundred twelve years, makes a lot of sense. And I totally get in respect that as as as an opinion. Um so yeah like don't valvo is a collective that is a weird company is a black box. They make so much money per employee per head town because of the way steam works that they don't work like Normal companies and you can't make a some it's not like it's not like when google went out and recruit a bunch of AI people from connect email and to work really go, they're clearly spinning up a self driving cartoon. Yeah of course they were no that like this guy might just want to retire and you go .
like buy those as seen with a lot of in video. I focus these days like a lot of my contact and seven video have retired because they got they they there forever and they ve got they are the richest company in the world that they have stock yeah like .
I be surprised this deal was the same in video. The people that we know that started working in the video in two thousand, two thousand, three had a strike Price of like ten or twelve dollars on the videos stock, and IT was nine hundred dollars the other day. So there's a matter .
who writes for berets and take in verse adopter is witter. He's the awesome. Here is a in video book, the video way coming out soon.
Former maximum p editors also yeah.
he's great that I ve me.
He ran the .
numbers and he said, if you'd put ten thousand dollars into a video when he launched back in the day.
you'd have like orty million dollars.
okay. Ah well, best case scenario. Best case scenario. If even even if this guy was super inter medal in the steam deck and he is going over to microsoft to help with those hand hell efforts, I also don't believe that that one guy can can turn the tides or immediately be like o yeah, the x box and hell is gonna be an amazing thing, right? Microsoft is a very big company. There's a lot of things are trying to feed into IT. Yeah I can see one one person coming in being like, okay, this is this is immediately gna make IT I must have I mean.
I think there are definitely people that can move the needle in a big way for organization, even an organization the size of microsoft, apple or google or something like that. Um I don't like given that this .
is .
a product that is essentially unannounced fill is clearly SONY made their bed on hand heels, which is, hey, we think our play station streaming is pretty good and we're going to set IT up so you can just do that from anywhere and have like a little remote play station that connects to the mothership, which is like like good on them. That's a bold choice. I I think everybody he's tried that logitech made their own hand held streaming thing.
That I think they sold like ten of the g cloud. Yeah like i've never heard of anybody buying one of these SONY things because at that same Price point, you could just buy a steam deck and then run um I can read a jackey on IT and stream from your place station, can exactly the same experience minus the fancy triggers and and have a much more versions device. So like I don't know, like this is all just kind of idle speculation about personnel that like is who who knows you what people do inside like, no people inside that do know what people inside to, right?
Like, like, hey, what is bob working on these days? I have no idea. Even talked to bob in three years IT. Turns out bob has been off making some dot. First person, third person.
dota gone. I heard bob, your uncle.
Bob is your uncle.
I do I just I want to .
say from fill sensors comments about that xbox handheld like each years away IT sounds like IT sounds like it's not even IT .
also know how much .
about yeah and I really .
felt like one of those things of like, okay, we're working cool stuff too we've got this thing that we're working on come on, stay excited about x box no like.
yeah so so don't don't announce .
something so earthly I come on like I know I get IT, but the same time that kind of what microsoft has had a problem with recently is like and now seeing things will wait too early. And I knew we got to do that sometimes for business reasons but also just talk about IT, when is when there's to talk about in my mind. Uh well, actually here's here's a Better follow question from nick.
Do we need an x box hand help though? I'm going to say, yes, give me all the the dam hand help is neck why you're trying to hold out hand helps on me like I I don't understand. I thought we were friends.
So the real solution is that microsoft kind of in intendo and then the switch will become the x box hand held and you will also be the lame orio in the ex box. It's the only waited for this to work out perfect is my understanding. Yeah okay.
I just a scientist by the time xbox hand health comes out, will IT be we saying send a thermal pace would be so that be that should be sooner and be so er being serious .
for me though.
I would love an x box handheld, like we said for years, that if you have a PC like a switch is the natural companion because you can play those games. But microsoft has x box, play anywhere, a game, pass ultimate, all of that stuff. And if you really have A P, C and x box to be able, seems trying to expect game pass or usually play anywhere. Games already have both of those and is already set up for x cloud. So to me, like as someone who is invested in that, if they can put out even if IT is primarily cloud based system, um i'm already bought into expected as ultimate as A P C player who has an x boxes and xilai vice and I would totally buy an xbox handheld.
These let me tell you about my steam deck bread.
I connect to the .
x cloud to play fortunate on my steam deck when my kid wants to play fortunate, and I don't want to go instead in the office anymore. And that's pretty experience is a dedicated client. Everything steam deck .
might be my Christmas gift to myself.
This is a pretty, pretty good gift.
And to say a good one, we get a question from the happening over on discord from the show. So why can't D I Y CPU have direct die cooling like laptops? I will say, uh, when the fourteen nine hundred came, A S came out, core sair had reached out about getting A A A tower custom tower in from origin seeing origin cause um that they they had direct die cooling i'm sorry, deleted CPU.
So that's that's essentially direct cooling right? Yeah yeah so like you can I mean deleting is is definitely a thing. I mean go sub ribe over the to the power. So goods literally every cp that comes out.
So um like I don't think it's as ubiquitous ous, but I think I I actually think the the thing that comes down to is that either you're going to do IT yourself or you're going to buy a prebuilt if you buy if you buy a pre built that's already kind of like set up for that cooling system. That kind of takes a lot of the DIY this out of IT because that would probably be a real pain in the bud to try to swap anything out or anything like that. So yeah.
so what's is the benefit just that you lose the tiny amount of inefficiency of going through the heat spread er and you put your thermo block directly on the die.
You get you get slightly Better cooling like IT depends on what you're using, but you can get up to ten degrees Better cooling sometimes. Yes, more we at the risk of potentially .
crushing your seat. And like I remember those those old thunderbird days in like you did one one quarter, turn on the screw too far and crack.
You are out to anybody who delays and not doing in myself.
Yeah no, that is like.
or break A C, P, U. wants. Just just to try. Let us try to see how how IT is.
You can get a thermal grizzly. Delia, die. Mate, A M five for fifty box and then just smacked that bad boy on just liquid metal IT up while you're added letter.
rip.
yeah. I think the actually answer to this question is because laptop s are built as close contained system like they can plan around all that can do that, uh, prebuilt are preview. They would have to put a lot of extra effort and time into doing that. And then IT like I resume IT messes with our individual warranties. I'm guessing intelligent wouldn't be super thills and honor the warranties if a company is deleting chips in direct .
and the company is going to eat to on that. Yeah, I will end like the benefit is, hey, you you get a little bit more efficiency on the cooling when probably if you go from a two forty two, a three sixty ao or whatever, you're going to see the same impact when with much less risk to everyone involved.
I mean, I think really the only benefit, well, not the only a good benefit would be small from factor, right? If if you're like, you know what, I want to try to get as much cooling capability in a small system, I could see that. But the I feel like .
people used to say every time bread is deports, now they would do a shot. I feel like get in close, where when adam says, sf, f.
yeah, we're pass. Get the stomach .
pumps out. Are you moving on? Y J S, no, wait. Yeah no. Lewis law, friend of the show.
Lewis law as, uh, what D D R five H D RAM kit would you guys recommend for an as rock x eight seventy so exit seventy high end. Not quite sure what what CPU you're pairing IT with or what you do. There's always to follow questions.
But for the most part, I feel like six thousand expose six thousand is is like the sweet pot. I know I can go higher, like definitely, but I don't know. I prefer stability yeah and if if you're going to do something, passageways, I feel like six thousand is safe.
I mean, I think what if you have the new boards, you can go to sixty four hundred and be safe supported supposed yeah, we even tested that a ton, at least on our end here. But yeah, I I would do sting. Yeah, testing does sometimes be testing. I think I think I air on having lived that fast ramps life for a while and watching a blow in my face pretty spectacularly. I'm happy to live up humbled six thousand.
No, yeah, yeah. I guess what I would aim for bread any thoughts .
that's my genre cancer as well if he's looking for specific manufacturer and if I can't get into that but sixty .
four hundred is what I would yeah ah and here's a good follow DRAM question from Derek chain as weight can you you see dms? I'm sorry, see u dims uh in the same yudin slots? Yes, uh the pin out and the the actual slot itself is the same.
You cannot mix and match. No, and as of right now, see you dms are only supported on area lake. Uh we did actually test slotting them in in fourteen, jen and a and five. I don't .
results one through an error like bio biotype message pop. Others like, hey, this this is not a the right and memory for this board. But if you do this thing that will switch over and IT, it'll turn off the clock ship and it'll probably work. And we didn't do that actually afraid we would then not be able to turn the cocky p back on .
and use IT for the mother board. And and these were test entries.
So did and then didn't oot like a black screen or IT worked but I was janki I guess I was was the right way anyway. Don't see see you dims, I think are still firmly in my not for now category.
Well, and when you did get in to work on area lake, the the benefit was not really there quite yet.
especially for the Price for considering the the kind of high increase in Price and the amount of jane required to get IT working. The dip was not the performance boost was not there for the stuff didn't do the false way to test at some point. We should probably revisit that maybe after the BIOS is have settle out a .
little bit and actually, nick, as he was able to use A C kit uh, on A X 7 seventy e tiche with a nineteen hundred extra clock but he said as he was hit miss, so yeah, it's not officially supported. Maybe you can get IT to work. Maybe you can clock IT down. But yeah, I person, ally wouldn't, per our last conversation, I prefer stability. So I wouldn't.
G gordon put this in the end of the ninety eight hundred x 3d video I think but if I were call right the intel, I think the jen board o zero like when you're right, the intel fourteenth board worked through the error message and the A M five board, which was not eight seventy IT, was the earlier weeks before the ninety hundred and 3d through an error。 And booted sometimes and sometimes just wouldn't boot, and was weird.
So so what we will see is this something that can be supported with a bio? I actually don't know.
That was my understanding from reading. I think my runs fact on what C, U, dims are said that with with BIOS updates, they'll be able to motherboards that don't support C, U, dims, or C, P, S, that don't support C, U, dims. Will be able to disable the clockwork selectively. But that bio support, that's a future thing, not a current thing, was and the nick fall this .
up and says as a memory, but he was able to hit thirty two hundred, make a transfers for just .
so I got IT up to eighty four, but I had to .
do the half .
well let me on on the ninety ninety j .
even ah let's .
get .
over here to h mostly running at socky. H has a good black friday question. We're going to hold that till next week because we're going to have a whole black friday .
episode if is the black is tuesday, what is? What is the Green liner says the darkest night sadia ta ola will be here with .
deals I think what nobody we try out, we're got a question from wal smith, wow, welcome earth weill smith. Will smith, no, i'm pretty shirts. The will smith, uh, wow, I I guess he's a big piece builder. What's up with motherboard Prices, guys? The new chips that seem real expensive?
Well, that's a really good question.
Very smart person too. Yeah, yeah, a lot of a lot of commentary. Yeah well, I don't know it's in relation to AMD or intel specifically, but yeah, the x eight seventy line is out for the new rise and nine thousand CPU. We have yet to get any in for the the next chip at the b chip set or even the weight they're got rid of the a chip set right now. It's just two levels of b or three levels of B I can't remember .
I think is available for prevents at the very least of other.
So yeah so for rise in nine thousand, the newest chip sets are definitely the high end. And then the arrow lake, no, I haven't seen too many rounds up of arrow lake motherboards. They are expensive. Yeah, I guess the will mr. Whale smith, yeah is trying to ask why?
Why so hi, why I well, I think .
each new generation, yeah I think companies want to lead with their highest and stuff and they know that enthusiasm. Probably the one's buying early, right? So then the the lower chip set the lower cost chip sets will come out later is like of the major idea, I think I have behind IT. But overall, I feel like we have seen a trend in motherboard Prices kind of creeping up. But then again, there's been a lot of features, right?
So I feel like with thirteenth, jen, I when we built my thirteenth generation ine, and you were like, hey, you want a White mother board here's the White motherboard. It's really expensive and IT turns that's going to kill a bunch of CPU for you um that was like a five hundred and forty dollar motherboard. I was like that is an insane Price to pay for a motherboard and now these are all starting at like five hundred bucks is when he feels like and IT feels like that jump happened in the last like two IT like this fourteenth gene count as a generation, I don't know. IT feels like it's happened last generation.
And technically.
yes, it's got to worse. It's got to worse. But this has been a trend that's been going on for a little bit like since before the pandemic mother board Prices has been creeping up.
You be able if you spent two hundred and fifty dollars back in the day, you'd have like a bowler or motherboard. Now that's entry level. Uh part of IT, I think is one technologies is just get more expensive as we're seen with everything.
yeah. Two, I think the companies are trying to make some money. And Adams, right?
Whenever a new CPU generation launches, usually it's only the flagship boards that come out for like six months and then it's like, okay, if you're about value, wait six months. You're going to wait six months to get this trip on sale. That's when the beat class on the words to come out.
But three, I think, is worth keeping in mind that motherboards don't just hold the CPU. They also need to build in additional layers and P C B, additional traces, all that kind of stuff for P C I E five or all these different D D R five like they're infinitely more complex and they generate more heat and it's a lot more technically complex than what mother board used to be. So I think that plays a large part of IT. I also think a large part of IT is companies are just trying to make money. But I think the answer is somewhere between those.
there are a lot of hardware features to I know a lot of these boards that we got in where I go check out this quick, really slaughter this, the the heat sink that goes over all these m dtds is just like a you kind of flip a tab and and you don't have to screw anything. So then there's the the U A I that they're constantly redoing aces. Just update there's to be an hd now. Now you can get in the full H D. Um I will say the the cheapest motherboard that I got in this rounds up uh was a gigabit x eight seventy or is elite wifi seven for two ninety?
Okay, that's a reasonable Price.
And this one actually does come in a White version as well so that the ice version I don't have the ice version but uh they do have a White version at two ninety which ah you said White White versions used to be a real high and thing so this is not bad issues. Had the tough gaming x eight seventy plus wifi for three ten so A A little bit more, but also X X seventy, which is a higher and ship set. So yeah okay, I don't know. I mean, IT seems like maybe there are more layers.
One of the things I was looking at, it's it's funny. This is one of the things that is not documented superman anywhere, because nobody y's like, hey, our mother board has twelve layers or eight layers or whatever. But IT seems like generally the design, the number of layers is creeping up as we get things like things that are incompatible with being a jacon each other like wifi and audio on the same pcb. Yeah, I don't know. It's a weird IT is unsettling because at the rate that they're getting a more expensive, they are going to be more expensive than CPU soon, which is feels bad, man.
I gently think that have the answer like things you're just getting so much more complex and have so much more power and so much more heat that they need to invest more in the mother boards. But that being said, IT sucks spending as much or more on your motherboard than you do on your high and gaming ship. I mean, and get with this question even .
from I think I feel less bad about IT on the five side than I do on the intel side, where that motherboards are one, the five you have some downstream. What IT is downstream? Optionality, I think is what I would .
say that person energy .
talk right there .
yeah ensure your vertical guys get in there and really multiply your your downside ream opponent for optimal shareholder.
I hate this. Um I mean the other thing is yeah like you you could therefore ally plop in your brain in ninety eight hundred and fifty in A B six fifty motherboard theoretically yeah as long as IT supports IT, which I believe most of them do at this point and yeah i've i've actually use this msi pro b six fifty motherboard it's one hundred and thirty dollars on new age right now. So like it's there are still our options out there like I think we see a lot of high and stuff because that's also what companies played descend. Uh so yeah and that .
was one hundred and thirty dollars. I remember the first of my bottom other board that costs more than one hundred .
dollars like this too much. Roll IT back. yeah. Well and then like especially that round up that I got in recently, I was looking at all the features too.
And it's like, okay, well, I like to have a very fast take a bit either in port, i'm sorry, two point five or ten or actually some of them have five. So like usually the aces prr uh definitely has more features that are for ick quick file transfers, things like that. Some of them have wifi.
Seven, all of the new x eight seventy have us before. That's kind of the selling point of wm. Probably the biggest ellish point of the chip sets specifically is that guaranteed inclusion?
So yeah, they kind of sign MIT IT out still. So it's I double you're going to find one hundred and fifty dollar motherboard with A A ten gig ether in the port. But .
maybe yeah.
I don't know. Let's go over to another question. I cumulus as one that i'm i'm not oh, let's note if gordon we're here, I think he point out that also motherboard manufacturer are always the ones that gets stuck with with the things that they need to throw in.
Oh, oh, you ve got to, you ve got to add in A P, C, I, E cable. Uh, yeah. Make the other born manufacturers do IT. You ve got to add in the sexual thing yeah yeah yes makes the mother .
mother board me and fetters do IT so call those .
tiny screws don't pay for themselves and exactly a front of the showed e humus .
a is super micros scrut yeah there's ve got they've got some stuff going on like there's lawsuits and like illegal proceedings and all sorts of yeah that seems seems if he .
yeah the games exist. Did a really nice exposed video on all the close family ties between suppliers that I has there's an activist uh like investors slash journalists firm called hindon burg research that did its own follow up investigation. Now they're threatened, be delisted by next stack.
I think IT is they're very top rent public accountant said you're going working with these guys anymore wow. So yeah, it's looking interesting. I don't think there's screw. No, I think they're still a very good company who does what they do, I think is just perhaps cultural difference in the way asian verses american expectations are for the paperwork and stuff.
It's not .
looking good.
Is this all downstream of them getting in trouble for telling stuff to china, they want to sell to china? Or is that something else? This is about .
like his brothers companies are the suppliers for them get sweet hard deals. There's a bunch of if the accounting practices like I would go best my office of recollection, I would go if you're truly interested in this, go see Steve, the game's next to deep dive. Go read that hint the research thing. I don't think there's fruit, but I definitely took some of the glint of the diamond or what you say.

Oh, one out of ten or that's .

Oh well, well so i'm actually gonna have them help me a come up with A A. I'd love doing these PC these live PC bills were like we have the the chat figure out what we're going to put in IT. We're actually going to make A D N D adventure of, uh, a PC build where we used dice roles to to .
determine the the party. A C. So can time we had the button.

shut IT down.
Yeah, shut IT down much time oh, oh, i'm sorry, you know what first up daddo .
is is here in .
in in the channel or in the live streaming. He he was referencing the White steam deck. No, I did not buy a White steam deck that went up today, right yesterday, yesterday. okay. Well, it's probably already sold out.
IT was sold out in moments. They they look, the press release that we got from valve was like, he, look, here's what were going to do. We're going to dulled these out based on the number of steam deck sold in the different regions.
So your region sold more steam deck, there's more of them going there. Okay, there you go. Now, three, five business .
days now so that you .
see is that it's not that limited. I'm waiting for twenty and waiting for for the spice .
orange and I was ordering .
in life right now.

bed 喂喂喂 ah yeah, obviously fate relies on the day. I do like, listen, I do like the weight. But like I said, I already got that other limited decision. One we see the transparent, and I actually like twenty. By twenty nine they .

do IT do IT do IT I dare you, I guess. And and, and blue sky follow pcr and blue sky, i'm going to create a full nerd for blue sky follows over there. I don't know what that. Who can do .
PC world hq on blue sky? Because somebody really took PC.
What look who took the blue sky PC world.
And then on top of that, the invidia g force account of blue sky is a parody.
Accounts don't fall for that. The general rule on blue skies is really easy to set up a domain. So if it's not like if IT doesn't end in dog gov, it's probably not a government account, right? Senators and house members and stuff on there.
They all have their dog gov accounts. We can do the same. I can help you all with the PC world stuff.
So actually, yeah, because we could get PC world dot com .
PC world docs is available where the only ones that control that, where is the we can change things. H, yeah.
ah we're just gonna reach out to our IT department. That always works. I usually bring here, but I talked about our engineering department.
Yeah, hey, engineer department. Or do we have the domain for this? Ah, yeah, i'm seeing PC world that comes not working anymore.
