We have Blake co-piling with us. And joining us now is Brendan Carr from the FCC, Great American. I've known Brendan for quite some time. FCC Commissioner, a senior Republican on the five-member FCC. Brendan, lots to discuss here. George Soros just bought...
a bunch of radio stations. What is the significance of this? And the FCC just fast-tracked it. What's going on here? Yeah, I'm going to be with you, Charlie. Hopefully one of these days when I join you, there'll be some good news to discuss, but I don't think today will be one of those days. So this goes back actually to the beginning of the year, a Soros-backed group.
has made a play to buy over 200 local radio stations across more than 40 markets. A lot of it's just regular, you know, music and talk, but there are some conservative voices on there, including Mark Levin and Dana Lash on a number of these stations. And normally what happens here is when you have what we call excessive foreign ownership. So this is a case where the Soros entities have foreign investment. It's not disclosed at this point where that comes from.
When you have excessive foreign ownership, the FCC has a process where we bring in national security agencies and they review that foreign ownership. And then only then, after that process runs, does the FCC decide whether to allow the transfer of these licenses to the new entities. Here, we've got the cart before the horse. If this reporting is correct,
The FCC is about to approve this takeover without running that normal process. And I don't know what is so special about this particular transaction that would merit the FCC breaking from its traditional precedent to fast track something.
Blake, do you have a thought on this? I guess this fits into a bigger thing. I think a lot of Americans know about the border. They know about foreign policy. But stuff like the FCC, the FTC, they aren't nearly as plugged into these sort of regulatory decisions that can have hugely far-reaching effects on how the country works. And so...
Brendan, for our viewers and listeners, could you maybe just lay out some of those big picture developments that are happening and how, you know, if we were to have a conservative government again, how that could be changed? Yeah, look, there's a lot going on at the agencies right now. I mean, if you step back, Democrats have been in charge of the administrative state for 12 of the last 16 years. And
And the administrative state, to your point, is this alphabet soup of agencies in Washington. I mean, I work at one of them and they have increasingly an immense amount of power over the daily lives of Americans and small businesses all across the country. As you look to Congress and as deadlocked as Congress is, and I would say that's a feature, not a bug. Right. The American people voted in.
a divided Congress. So intentionally, they don't want a lot coming out of Washington. You know, very few bills pass. But look at the agencies. We're having thousands and thousands of new regulations pass every single day out of the administrative state. And so I think we do have an opportunity here to push back
and return the power back to the people's elected representatives in Congress. There's some really good Supreme Court cases, EPA, Loper Bright, which overturned Chevron. At the end of the day, all of these decisions are about ensuring that the legislative power, the power to sort of pass laws that bind what you do in your personal life,
stays with your representatives in Congress and not with people like me at an agency where just a simple 3-2 vote can fundamentally change the landscape. Just as a good example of one of these, you had a piece in the New York Post recently, and it's a very, I think, arcane topic for a lot of people, but it was about how the FCC delayed a rollout of internet in rural areas. And I think a lot of people
Their eyes could glaze over at that. But you actually said it was one of the worst abuses of the FCC you've ever seen. Could you build that out for our listeners and explain what's going on here and how that really captures, you know, the Biden era FCC?
Yeah, this one in particular, back in 2019, there was a deal that put in place a federal obligation for DISH, now Echo Star, to provide high-speed internet 5G service to rural America. And last week on a Tuesday night, they submitted a filing asking to be let out.
of that federal commitment. And in a Friday night news dump, the FCC at the Bureau level, so without any input from me at all, or any other commissioner, as far as I can tell, the agency granted that extension of the build-out obligation, which ultimately leaves rural America behind. But it's part of a broader story, I think, of leaving rural America behind. The most
A pressing example is in 2021, President Biden asked Vice President Harris to lead the administration's signature $42 billion effort
to expand internet access to millions of Americans. And we're over 1,040 some odd days later, and not one person has been connected to the internet with those $42 billion. Not one home, not one business. Now, if you go back a year or so ago, people were really upset
Secretary Buttigieg because he'd only, you know, overseen the build out of eight EV charging stations after getting $7 billion. But I think in hindsight, we probably owe Secretary Buttigieg an apology because eight charging stations is a heck of a lot more than zero people connected to the internet with $42 billion. Let's drive that home. $42 billion.
allocated basically at the beginning of the Biden-Harris administration to build rural internet. And they haven't plugged in a single person to the internet. It's amazing. And there was recently a story in Politico, including some testimony subsequently from state officials that were involved in this effort dealing with the federal government. And they said that this program has been marred by mismanagement, dysfunction, delays,
And so what have they been doing in the last 1,000 plus days? They've been adopting DEI requirements. They've been pushing a climate change agenda. They've been putting in place preferences for government-run networks, for unionized labor. The list goes on and on. They have used this $42 billion program designed to bridge the digital divide to just press forward with a wish list of progressive policy goals that have absolutely nothing to do with connecting Americans. Meanwhile,
We actually had a deal in 2020 with Elon Musk's Starlink to bring high-speed internet to over 640,000 homes and businesses in rural America, so millions of people. President Biden went to the podium and said that Elon Musk is worth being looked into. That unleashed a cavalcade of administrative actions against Elon Musk, including, in my view, here at the FCC, where we then abruptly reversed that 2020 award, which was $885 million, to
to Elon Musk to provide high-speed internet. So we had a deal, which was basically $1,300 in federal support per location served by Starlink. And we've replaced it with this $42 billion program that has connected absolutely no one. And there's actually other programs outside of the $42 billion that the Biden-Harris administration is running where Senator Ted Cruz has exposed that they're spending over $100,000 per home
to connect those homes to the internet. Again, we had a deal with Starlink for $1,300 per home, which actually we could probably cut even lower than that if we wanted to. And now we're spending $100,000 where we're actually connecting people. But in the main, the $42 billion program has gone nowhere. It's remarkable. And so the $42 billion, something must be spent on something, right? Yeah.
There must be.
is we can correct course pretty quickly here we can get rid of the dei requirements get rid of the climate change agenda get rid of all this progressive wish list and uh there's still a lot of that 42 billion dollars left that can go to efficiently connecting rural america
The last couple of years have been very tough on people economically. A lot of good folks have gotten into horrible debt just to survive. Some of you are paying 20 to 30 percent on your credit card debt and drowning in those monthly bills. If you own your own home, did you know that refinancing that home can help get you help right now? I can hear it now. But Charlie, I have a three and a half
percent rate and I can't refi. Don't be a slave to the rate. Talk to my good friends, Andrew Del Rey and Todd Avakian. Let them crunch the numbers for you and show you. I've used them. They're amazing. I can't say enough good stuff about them. You can consolidate and pay off all your debt, lower your payments, save thousands in interest and possibly even pay your home off sooner.

So, Commissioner, there's been a lot of news with, you know, we mentioned how Starlink could basically just give...
to everyone in rural America, but we decided to spend $42 billion on nothing so far. The other thing, of course, that Elon Musk ventures are heavily involved in is he bought X. That's become a big free speech battleground. There's been a lot of news in Brazil where Brazil ordered the site taken down, and I think now it's going back up, but they have to comply with some Brazilian censorship stuff. It's not good. I was wondering if you could speak to the current...
tech censorship dynamic that's going on, you know, with the Biden administration and how they're approaching speech related issues online over the airwaves and what our prospects are there if we have a Kamala Harris administration? Yeah, I think Brazil, as you mentioned, is really the tip of the iceberg.
When it comes to this global trend towards censorship, what happened in Brazil is you read through Justice de Moraes' 51-page decision. It was issued in Portuguese, but I do have Google Translate, so I was able to at least get an English version of it. I went through that one, and what he said was that he was acting to censor posts on X to prevent what the justice said in his words were the incitement,
of anti-democratic acts. But what's interesting is if you then read through and see what is the anti-democratic act that the Brazilian justice had in mind, he said very clearly it was people voting the wrong way at the ballot boxes. And he walked through examples in his mind of Brexit in 2016 and President Trump's election in 2016.
suggesting that those are the types of negative outcomes, populist outcomes, he said, indicating that those are the ones that should be avoided by censoring free speech on X. And this is really concerning. Again, it's part of a global trend. It's that idea that those in power only want the people to have in their brains news, information and content
effectively that is approved by the very people in power because they want to stay in power. But of course, free speech really is our only hope. Free speech is democracy's check on authoritarianism, on government control. So it's this concerning trend towards saying we believe in democracy and therefore we have to censor people in order to preserve it. And we've seen a lot of weaponization over the last couple of years just here in the U.S. So for instance, there was a
A number of Democrat representatives, members of Congress from California that wrote letters to cable companies suggesting they dropped Fox News, OAN and Newsmax because of the editorial decisions that those newsrooms were making. There was a transaction where a conservative buyer wanted to purchase some radio stations in South Florida.
And Democrats spoke up and said we have to shut that down because it could affect electoral outcomes. So there really is this concerning trend. You see it, too, with the Biden-Harris administration pressuring, jawboning, as we say, social media companies into pressuring, into censoring politically protected speech. And, of course, Zuckerberg came out a couple weeks ago with a quasi mea culpa statement.
to one of the House committees saying, you know, sorry that we censored Americans over the last couple of years. Yeah. And I just, Brandon, really quick here. Do you feel any sort of sense of urgency from this current government, our government, the fact that American social media apps are being banned in foreign countries? It doesn't seem as if this is a major concern.
Yeah, it's really surprising. I spoke up, a couple others, but government-wide, I think the State Department was silent, as best I could tell. I think the White House was silent. And I think sometimes saying nothing is the loudest possible thing you can do. I think...
The American government should have been standing up for X. They should have been standing for Starlink. Because remember, once they censored X, they then took it out on Starlink, which is a separate company, separate shareholders by freezing their assets. So it's worrying that Brazil did this. It's worrying that America seems like they gave it a pass. It's worrying that it's part of a global trend that's taking place in Europe. And otherwise, we're in the midst of a fight for free speech. I think it's going to continue here for a little bit. Brendan, thank you for your time. Thanks so much. Thanks.

Okay, joining us now is the legendary Scott Pressler from Early Vote Action. Scott, welcome back to the program. Scott, you're doing incredible work. We have about 10 minutes to go through all of it. I have my co-pilot Blake here as well. Scott, what happened in Luzerne County? Hey, Charlie. Thanks for having me.
So yesterday we flipped Luzerne County from blue to red in terms of voter registration. Now let me put this into context for your audience about what that really means.
Four years ago in 2020, during about the same time, the Democrats had 24,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans. And as of this week, for the first time,
In 40 years, 50 years, we now have a plurality of registered Republicans. Now, what makes this so exciting is this is, quote unquote, Joe Biden's backyard in northeast Pennsylvania. And so it just shows you that.
Pennsylvanians are tired of the Biden-Kamala disaster. And even after the April primary, that people don't even have to change their voter registration. I think they're doing so because
A symbolic lead. And so this was a very big week for the Trump campaign and for Pennsylvania. So, Scott, talk about the work you are doing. You're out to gas stations, gun shops and events registering voters. Your entire team is walk us through the process because anybody can do this work.
Absolutely. Well, this is a call to action here today. You know, in Pennsylvania, we have 28 days left to register voters. The deadline for Pennsylvania is October 21st. Guys, there are no exceptions. If you don't register by the 21st, you are not able to vote. And so we are meeting people where they are.
And one call to action is wherever you live across the United States, go to your local gun shop,
bring voter registration forms with you. You can print them off online. You can go to your board of elections because 30% of Pennsylvania hunters are not registered to vote. And the great work that Turning Point Action is doing in Wisconsin, your group knows that 40% of Wisconsin hunters are not registered. If we simply engage with hunters and mobilize them to vote, Donald Trump will be reelected president. Now,
We were also inspired by the UNC Chapel Hill fraternity brothers that protected our American flag. I want everybody to visit your sororities, visit your fraternity houses, bring voter registration forms. And Charlie, in states like Pennsylvania, if we have beautiful fraternity brothers that are here from New Jersey or New York or Connecticut, we can legally and lawfully have them vote in Pennsylvania.
All they need is the last four of their social security number. They do not need a Pennsylvania driver's license. And last, one very important place that you may also bring voter registration forms.
Because of stolen valor, Tim Walls, and because of Kamala disrespecting Gold Star families. We have 800,000 veterans, Charlie, in Pennsylvania. It's home to the fourth largest veteran community in the entire country. Go, Kamala.
to your American Legion. Go to your VFW Hall. This is something that every single one of you can do. And if you're looking for more opportunities, go to Cabela's, Walmart, Home Depot, Bass Pro Shop. We, this Republican Party, is working class America. If we are going to win, we must meet people, meet voters where they are.
So thank you for that, Scott. And we were just in Pennsylvania, as you well know, and Noah Formica, who works great with you. We registered hundreds and hundreds of people. It was amazing. In Center County. And you too, I think, Scott, I don't know if you were there, your team was there. I'm sure that's, you know, your legion was there. So Scott, I'm reading reports that early ballot requests are down in Pennsylvania. Walk through the process of getting a mail-in ballot,
And what is the significance of it being down so significantly?
Well, this is critical, Charlie. And I have to say thank you to Turning Point Action. Thank you for you coming to the universities. And Noah Formica, I loved seeing that picture of you, Noah, and Luke Malice holding up all of those beautiful voter registration forms. And I love that we're not ceding ground. We're seeing the youth movement trend to the right. They want economic prosperity. They want home ownership. They want to be able to have families alive.
Anyway, I also want to give a shout out to Cliff Maloney and PA Chase. Now, Cliff, I was just reading his ex account. He shared that the mail-in ballot request for Democrats are down 360,000 from where they were four years ago at the same point in time. Now, I'd like to remind the audience that 2020 is
in Pennsylvania was decided by 80,000 votes. So not only Charlie are the Democrats down 300,000 voter registrations from where they were four years ago, but they're down 300,000 mail-in ballot requests from where they were four years ago. Something that people aren't talking about, Charlie, is that yes, people can vote on Tuesday, November 5th. That's fine if that's how you choose.
Yes, people can request a mail-in ballot that will be delivered to whatever address that you put on your mail-in ballot request form. And you may either put it in the mailbox, you may put it in the Dropbox, you may drop it off in person to your board of elections. But probably what I think is the most important thing we need to discuss is that if people want to vote early in person, you may do so. Now, it's semantics. You're voting in person.
person mail-in ballot. But I want to be clear, a mail-in ballot is a paper ballot. And so right now, if you live in Montgomery County, Philadelphia County, Wyoming, Schoolkill, you can, after you're finished watching the Charlie Kirk show today, go and vote for Donald Trump and all of our Republican candidates. Go to your local Bureau of Elections,
You're going to say, my name is Charlie. I would like to vote in in-person mail-in ballot. They will print a mail-in ballot for you on demand of you asking. You'll fill it out in secret. You'll give it back to the elections officer. And so that way you're voting a mail-in ballot
In person, it goes from your hands to the election officials' hands. You're not putting it into a Dropbox or United States Postal Service employee. And that's something that especially if you're a trucker or if you're working class America, a firefighter, police officer, pilot, flight attendant, you're not putting it into a Dropbox or United States Postal Service employee.
You're working 12 hour days. We don't want you to miss the opportunity to cast your vote for Donald Trump and our entire Republican ticket. So please take that opportunity. It should be for all 67 counties, Charlie, that on October 16th, that opportunity should be available for everybody. And look, our movement is so big. Shouldn't we give our movement more days to vote, not less days? Yes.
Yes, exactly. So, Scott, we have a couple minutes here. I want to ask two more questions. The first of which is Republicans' mail-in requests are down slightly, but not nearly the percentage that Democrat mail-in requests are. Is that correct? Yes, that's correct. Also on Cliff Maloney's ex-account, he shared, I think the Republicans are down like 46,000. But again...
We are most likely going to eclipse 100% of where we were four years ago. While the Democrats, they are not going to hit their margins. And quite frankly, Charlie, I think that a lot of our people are going to vote early in person. Republicans are on track to win Pennsylvania, but the only thing that matters is ballots into boxes. The only thing that matters is actually locking in your vote. And I do have to say one last thing, Charlie, it's very important.
I need everyone, please, to check your voter registration status. You can type into the Internet, Arizona, check voter status, Pennsylvania, check voter status. Make sure you're an active voter registered at your current address with your preferred party. And even if you just voted, guys, please do this. Thank you. And so, Scott, final question here, about two minutes, and please take all of it to answer.
You're on the ground. Yes, sir. Compare Pennsylvania right now to 2020 and 2016. What does the energy feel like? And what are our chances structurally compared to previous cycles? Are we in a better position right now?
I can objectively tell you, Charlie, that yes, we are in the strongest position we have ever been as a party, as a movement to win Pennsylvania. In 2016, Democrats were nearly a million more voters than Republicans. In 2020, that was 650,000. Today, Charlie, that number is 338,000. Again, the Democrats are down 360,000 mail-in ballots.
And I want to say the level of synergy that we have, I believe, is unparalleled. You have the PA GOP RNC with our new co-chair, Laura Trump. You have Early Vote Action, my organization. We have a state director. We have 43 paid staff on the ground across all 67. We have the lovely Turning Point Action. We have Cliff Maloney's PA Chase. You have auxiliary organizations that have hundreds of staffers.
I can tell you objectively, this is the largest and strongest ground game infrastructure that the Republican Party has ever seen in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. And last, since 2020,
We flipped Berks County, Redding from blue to red. We flipped Beaver County from blue to red. We flipped Bucks County from blue to red outside of Philadelphia. And we flipped Luzerne County from blue to red. I am asking every person to focus on voter registration for the next 28 days. Scott, if and when we win Pennsylvania, you will be a major reason why.
And I want everyone to know that. And if we win Pennsylvania, our chances of winning the White House are very good. Now, Scott, I got to say, I might have to have you go down to North Carolina and fix this whole mess down there. Because unfortunately, Pennsylvania is looking better than North Carolina. We might have to send Scott on a flight down to Charlotte to go get their act together down there. Because North Carolina is not trending well. Okay, Scott, thank you. Thank you, gentlemen.

Blake, what is the news out of Nebraska? Not good news. It's not good news.
We tried very hard, but now Governor Pillen has expressly announced he will not be calling a special session. So obviously we talked about it today because it appeared it was over, but it is now over, over, it seems. Yeah, it's double dead. Double dead. You know, all dead in Princess Bride terms. So this is how it should have worked. The governor should have said, we're doing this. Yeah.
He should have said, we don't have the votes. We're going to do it to make sure they go on the record. And I want tens of thousands of Nebraska Patriots to come to Lincoln and to make your voice heard. And peacefully and patriotically march. Peacefully and patriotically make your voice heard. And he could have turned himself into a national hero. I made this case to his face.
And he said, I'm not doing this. He could have. It was such an opportunity that it really shows how there's such a gap even among you think that someone who like runs a state would have like stronger innate political instincts. But there's such a gap between what you have and what it could be. Do you guys remember back in 2020? Remember the story, Blake, where there were some patriots that drove cars around the Biden bus and they were prosecuted because of that? Do you remember that?
Not strongly, but it sounds like something. I remember this clearly. And so there is a bus and the a bunch of patriots drive around it. And there were charges around this. And the person involved is Joe Lynn Messaros. Hope I said that right. And she joins us now. She is the Trump train. Oh, Joey Lynn. I'm sorry. Joey Lynn. I misread that. Joey Lynn Messaros. I'm sorry. Welcome to the program. Tell us your story, Joey Lynn.
Hey, Charlie. Thank you so much for having me on. This is a huge win for free speech after four long years of enduring the same lawfare tactics that Trump has been experiencing. A group of six of us Trump supporters have been sued under the Ku Klux Klan law in federal court by Biden's White House officials, Democrat politicians, and Biden-Harris campaign staffers for what they
claimed was emotional damage that we gave them by driving next to them on the road. But yesterday, Charlie, justice was upheld and the jury saw through this garbage and we were ruled and we were found not guilty and the Constitution was upheld. Yeah. So just remind the audience the story. Walk through the story. Blake, he's like a walking encyclopedia. He doesn't remember it. So remind the audience the context and the story and the details.
viral story in 2020. There was a Biden-Harris campaign bus that drove through Texas. There was a Trump train, Trump vehicles flying their American flags, Trump flags, and they drove next to the bus. Trump tweeted about it. He said, I love Texas. And then Biden said, we ran the bus off the road, which literally...
never happened, but mainstream media blew up because this was in early election of 2020. People like The View, Whoopi Goldberg were saying we were emboldened racist bigots crawling out from under our rocks. How could you vote for Trump when we were inciting such political extremism and white supremacist tendencies? And it made its way into the federal court system for four years, threatening to bankrupt the
These patriots who were just exercising free speech because they're claiming it gave them emotional damage. And with the power of the media in their pocket, they were effectively chilling free speech rights for four years, guys. And did y'all know that this has been going on for that long? No, I had no idea. And so how much money did you have to spend defending yourself here? Oh, it's been...
hundreds of thousands of dollars. My husband and I are two of the defendants, and we've spent over $300,000, and several other defendants have spent the same. We're average-class American patriots, plumbers, homeschool moms, pastors, retired individuals, veterans. We do not have this kind of money to fight the system to defend what should be
basic rights. But they wanted to use this as a blueprint to test out if they could federalize squashing free speech rights if it simply offends somebody. And despite their best efforts to weaponize the law, force us to settle, which we fought. I'm so proud of each of us for fighting. We made it all the way through a federal trial and we saw a spectacular failure on the plaintiff's part to try to infringe on free speech rights. Did you win a judgment to get your legal costs covered?
That's our next step in this fight. So at this point, we've cashed out our 401k and relied heavily on the American people to help us fundraise to even get this far. They wanted to be able to squash us and win before we ever made it to trial just by fatiguing us. The process is the punishment. But by God's grace, he provided every dollar we needed to get in front of a jury and have our day in court, despite the fact that the jury was not in favor of us.
that the system is so rigged. They bagged us and prevented us from talking about so many key elements of this case, even with their quote unquote experts to portray us as political extremists. The jury saw the truth. Wait, wait. So tell me there were people that were trying to experts like professors that were trying to make
make you seem like you're some of the extremists? Oh, man. Yeah. What did you what have you learned through this process? And is your resolve to get Donald Trump in the White House increased or decreased after this show trial? Increased. We have learned that you have got to know what your basic rights are or you will not know when somebody is infringing on them. You have to know what they are to defend them, to assert them and to teach them to other people so that they can do the same. It is imperative to get a win for Donald Trump because while Kamala said
He is going to weaponize the law against their supporters. They have been doing it for four years. We have got to protect Americans and free speech rights. Joey Lynn, excellent. And I'm glad that you guys won and you need to get your legal costs paid for. That is step two. And finally, was the lawsuit with the Biden campaign?
So these were brought by individuals from the White House, politicians. Yeah. So it was from the White House. Differently. These were a bunch of left wing lunatics represented by a multibillion dollar 501 C3 legal infrastructure. Right, Blake?
They almost assuredly didn't. They're so good at this. Certainly when the left gets prosecuted, when they have actual terrorists and criminals get prosecuted, Kamala raises money for people who do riots. Minnesota Freedom Fund. They can send in NAACP, all of them. Thanks so much for listening, everybody. Email us as always, freedom at charliekirk.com. Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
