Okay, so my question is why do members of Trump's cabinet like Mike Pence, staunch Republicans like Dick Cheney coming out against Trump essentially erasing their political careers?

Why does that seemingly not influence your opinion? It's a great question. So I actually know Mike Pence. I think he's making a big mistake. Mike Pence has a personal axe to grind with Donald Trump because of all the January 6th stuff. I wish he would put the country over his own personal gripe with President Trump. But let's go through the list of the people that are going against Trump because I think it's really interesting. And I think you make an astute point. Dick Cheney. Mm-hmm.

To go on a college campus, college campuses used to be the anti-war home of America. And now the Democrat Party is having former directors of the CIA speak at the DNC just minutes before Kamala Harris, Leon Panetta, and then Dick Cheney coming out saying Donald Trump is the most dangerous person in the history of the country. That's an exact quote, by the way. I think we'd agree that's a little bit... Actually, I do agree with that quote.

And he tried to go across and completely erase our democratic process. They did multiple investigations. Hold up. It was a very Trump-oriented Supreme Court at the time. If there's one thing Trump's good at, it's putting courts in justice. And he had a lot of those guys in power, and they still didn't even accept the case. Mike Pence, luckily, Trump almost did it. He almost overturned the election for his favor.

But that was completely that's completely undemocratic in the most I've seen in my life. OK, in the spirit of not like engaging in hyperbole. So you think Trump is a greater threat to the country than like Timothy McVeigh, who did the Oklahoma City bombing? No, no. I mean, I want to make sure that you're not. Let me let me rephrase to rephrase that. OK, to rephrase that, I'm a politician, person in power. Timothy McVeigh didn't do the Oklahoma City bombing. OK.

Okay, politicians in power. So more so than Jefferson Davis, who led the Confederacy? Modern politicians in power. Okay, all right. People alive. Fair enough. You keep trying to divert it, but I'm talking about right now. Right now in my lifetime. We're closing the window a little bit, but that's okay. I'm glad that we are. So more so than George W. Bush, who launched two illegal wars and killed thousands of Americans and millions of Iraqis? No.

Well, I just want to be clear. The moral standard. The personal effect, the Constitution, almost, in my eyes, almost got completely overturned by Trump. Okay, so I just want to make sure that we're dealing in the same planet. Yeah, we are dealing in the same planet. Oh, yeah, I was there. I saw all that happen. You were there on January 6th? I was watching it on TV. Okay. No, but I just want to be clear. Your diversion. I just want to be clear, though.

You did ask about Dick Cheney, which I think is interesting. We'll go back to Dick Cheney. But with Donald Trump, it's fine. So how did he overturn or try to overturn the U.S. Constitution? He did not win the election. And he claimed that he did. And he did everything in his power to stay in power. Are you allowed to challenge results of an election? Absolutely. That's what he did. Recounts, recounts.

Completely recounts of an election. That is a lawful challenge. They did that. He still, to this day, up until actually a few weeks ago, claimed that he should be president. Right. So he also went up to the Capitol building. Hold on. Well, first of all, he didn't go to the Capitol. No, he didn't. You're right. You're right. But if Mike Pence, you're right. You're right. You're right. I'm saying his supporters. You're right. Mike Pence, which he told to go peacefully and patriotically go to the Capitol building. They did not.

Well, some did, actually. Most did not. I did not see that. Hold on, not most did. You know there's only about 40 or 50 violent people out of 3,000 people on the day of January 6th? By the way, who died on January 6th? Trump supporters. Yeah, only person who died was Ashley Babbitt, killed by Nancy Pelosi's bodyguard. A Trump supporter was murdered. Trump supporters didn't kill anyone. There was

They were not... Wait a second. But they were making threats and they're charging the Capitol building? No, again, I'm not defending the violence. Okay, yeah. But I want to be clear. What you think is the greatest threat to democracy of your lifetime... ...is like 40 or 50 guys live-action role-playing as militia members. One that dressed like Chewbacca going on the Senate floor thinking they're going to take over the U.S. government. Whoa.

Meanwhile, you have a George W. Bush. Somebody died. You just mentioned somebody died in that. It clearly got big enough to where somebody was killed. Okay, yes. I saw the videos. They're breaking windows. They're destroying the swamp. Yes, a bodyguard murdered a woman unnecessarily. And yes, I'm not going to defend. Do not cross this door if you got shot. Wow, you think that's okay?

I hate to see that. I hate to see that. Okay, I appreciate the honesty. I completely, I never liked to see that. Because she was an unarmed American veteran who was protesting something you disagree with, got a little ahead of herself, and she got the death penalty. But they did make a strict order, and that was also our Capitol building. Fair enough, but... The police officers there, too, were constantly getting pushed back. It's also her Capitol building, too, just to be clear. Absolutely, absolutely. You shouldn't get the death penalty for protesting. I like that you're being clear. I like that you're being clear.

It's like, please try to have an independent thought somewhere. No, but I just want to be, just to be morally clear, that Donald Trump, on what he did on January 6th, and what some of his supporters did breaking with him. I thought you were supposed to be objective. You're not supposed to get personal and try to attack people up here. I'm not. I'm asking you to have a free independent thought. That's what I'm doing. Okay. You're not. But just, your standard is Donald Trump, worst person ever. That's fine. Do you think he was a good president?

I think he was a terrible leader. Absolutely atrocious leader. Was the economy decent under Trump? It was good under Obama. I think I don't disagree with everything he did. But I think overall, as a servant leader, not showing up to the inauguration, constantly flip-flopping on ideas, his rhetoric. And you can say, oh, just mean tweets.

As a leader, you're responsible for that. That stuff trickles down to the American people and ultimately can have really adverse effects. So let's just do a hypothetical. You have someone who you consider to be a bad leader, but the country was in a better place or someone who pretends to be a good leader and the country is going to hell. Which decision would you make? I'd pick a good leader and the country not pretends a good leader. Do you think that would be under a good leader? The country's not going to hell.

Well, OK, so let's say do you think Kamala Harris is that good leader? I think Kamala Harris is better than Donald Trump. So. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. OK, OK. But so what has she done in the last three and a half years to make you think she's a good leader under? I mean, I support a lot of her. No, no, no. What has she done in the last infrastructure bill as as a VP to Biden?

The infrastructure bill, a trillion dollar infrastructure bill, bipartisan. Trump was unable to pass one. Really? So how did that improve your life? I mean, they funded the bridge in Maryland that collapsed. They improved that. That didn't improve my life. The bridge collapsed. Yeah. They haven't rebuilt it yet. Wait, so just be clear. You're voting for Kamala Harris because of a collapsed bridge? No, I'm voting for Kamala Harris overall because of character. But you asked me for some specifics. No, no, but that's amazing to me. So for character...

So, I just want to be clear. Let's pretend she's a person of great character and she didn't sleep her way to the top and Willie Brown's not a thing. Let's pretend that she's like the super qualified person who people voted for, which they didn't. No one has voted for her. No one. She just kind of was appointed. But,

Let's pretend that she's like this person of great character, but she makes decisions like open border, war everywhere and inflation. You're OK with someone who looks the part more than someone who actually did a good job as president. OK. Issues like inflation. That's like a that's a situational thing. I hate it. Open border. I'm not necessarily for that as well. But you talk about issues like wars. These are like external situation. OK, then you're blaming. OK, let's the Trump. How many wars under Trump cost covid?

That's what you're saying. Under your logic, that's what you're saying. Let me build up. You're digging yourself a hole. Under your logic, you're saying that Kamala Harris, all these wars are like her responsibility? Yes, can I prove it to you?

Then I'm going to say Trump is going to cause COVID. If we're going to go on external situations, that's what I'm going to say. Can I prove to you? Kamala Harris went to Munich weeks before Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine and said Ukraine's going to be part of NATO and said that we are going to go to war against Russia, the West, if they go invade Ukraine.

Yeah, but a lot of wars, like you said, you mentioned some factors, but I see a lot of working with our allies, and I really value that. How did Trump not work with our allies? Being a global leader. Trump, I mean, he's forced to work with our allies, but he's always trying to get out of different global regimes. I actually sympathize with you, and I get it.

But I want you to try to overcome that and say, OK, maybe because I think you're flawed in that way. The world was a safer place. People were richer. The country was objectively in a better place when Trump was president. He might not have acted the way you want him to act, but isn't preventing World War Three and being able to have young people buy homes and having a border and not having 10 million people come into your country more important than acting the part?

Oh, everything you said there, I agree with. No, I know, but I don't think they're going to try to do that. Our policy is more important than how you... Kamala Harris is going to start World War III. That's what you said. Yeah, we're on the verge of World War III because of Biden and Kamala Harris. Okay. We've never been as close to World War III in our lifetime. And we're basically betting on the rationality of Vladimir Putin at this point. We're hoping Vladimir Putin does not launch nukes. American missiles are being used on the interior of Russia. Could you imagine if Russian missiles were being used on the interior of America? How would we act? We would launch nuclear weapons.

Definitely. Yes. And so I just, I can see that you're coming after this from a good perspective and an honest perspective, but how Donald Trump acts is

won't matter 20 years from now. What he does as president will matter. How Kamala Harris acts won't matter 20 years from now. How what she does will matter. I think you'd agree with that, right? Well, his long-term revocations on the U.S. society and the people and how they act as a result of Donald Trump and certain policies that don't have the future in mind, like his actions on climate change, that will affect the future.

Yeah, I mean, okay, we're kind of changing the topic a little bit. That's fine, though. And I do want to get to somebody else. But even under Donald Trump, we saw emissions go under Donald Trump. We saw amazing progress in the quote-unquote environmental protections under President Trump. So there's no evidence of that. But that's fine. And I just want to just, in closing here, you will probably be voting for Kamala Harris. Is that correct? That is correct. Okay.

The last three and a half years, if you look at it objectively, you think it was a success, her as VP? Not necessarily. Not a complete success in some regards, yes. In some regards, no. Now, do I think Kamala Harris is going to do a better job and set a better precedent for our people and be ultimately a better America? Yes. Okay. Than Ms. Trump. But if she's going to do a better job, then why hasn't she done it the last three and a half years? Okay.

I think she did a lot better job than when Trump was in office, personally. Okay, so let's take about three... Come on up and talk. It's fine. Three objective things. Home ownership, border, war. We've been through some of these, right? Which president had a better track record of young people being able to own homes...

the border being secured. Oh, for that regard, Trump completely. But if you look at jobs, how our economy is doing in terms of its growth. The economy is not in a good place. What do you mean by that? Inflation is cooking people right now. Inflation is starting to go down. That has to do with a lot of the COVID stuff. Not necessarily a presidential job. So they actually send them and what they get in exchange, they actually get protection from the Mexican government and the U.S. government.
