After a tough upbringing in England experiencing violence, separatism, and years of heartache, coupled with having to live his life in a wheelchair for 3 years, it seemed that Carl Stedmond was destined to teach a life of self empowerment. Once out of the wheelchair, he started Shotokan Karate at the age of 14 and continues to teach as a (Shihan) 5th Dan black belt. Throughout these experiences, Carl questioned the existence and meaning of life. He experienced a spiritual awakening as an adult where he was completely embraced by love and light, and his teaching method’s have changed drastically since that day. The realization that we create our own reality prompted Carl to take ownership of his life experience. This expanded his life and work in beautiful new ways.
