Adam and Dr. Drew open the show with Adam replaying a clip from a 1982 Love Boat episode as he becomes obsessed with the timeline of the dialogue. They go on to explore the majesty of Ethel Merman and her singing on the show. They also discuss the days of band leaders and true musicians and how they compare to artists like DJ Kahled and Steve Aoki. They then turn back to the phones and speak to a parent whose child has been institutionalized and is extremely distraught.
