I’ve been dealing with some major burnout and strong emotions lately, so I thought I’d share a quote from a book I read recently which really resonated about how to deal with and process strong emotions.
“Acknowledge your emotions. All of them. Even the ugly and scary ones. Resisting them only lets them build up and makes them harder to deal with. Don’t be ashamed of your strong emotions. Give them a voice. If it’s not safe to express to people, write them out. Vent them on the page. If you don’t have time to express them, take a minute to admit them to yourself.
