The 1978 Steelers were 7-0. They never made it to 8-0, but did go on to a Super Bowl XLIII championship. The 2020 black-and-gold share that record with the 1978 team and could surpass Bradshaw, Harris, Greene and company with a victory over Dallas this week. No matter whether that mark remains or not, that team from 42 years ago will always be legendary. But as great as the past was, the only thing that matters right now is the current Men of Steel and their Super Bowl prospects.
