Good afternoon everyone!
How’s life? Currently I’m cleaning my house. We needed to reorganized a bit. Spring cleaning at it’s finest. Also, I’m trying to keep busy so the thoughts running through my mind aren’t so loud. Wrestling will forever be the one constant that I’ll cherish. I still continue to put out episodes to keep sane. Can’t wait to see, cheer, and hug all my wrestling buddies once this whole thing is over.
This podcast episode reviews AEW Dark from May 12, 2020. AEW Dark had 9 matches and I break down all matches. I give insight on how character building is important. Just don’t claim a subtitle to your wrestler name, own it, and command it, and especially look the part. I explain how a wrestler can rebound a bad gimmick. If you think you have a failing gimmick because it’s not getting over, then focus on the small sliver of good that gimmick may have given a fan. From there, think about how to mold it into something worth while. If you aren’t putting passion behind your gimmick/character, then the fans will notice and you’ll be back to square one. Believe in yourself, your talent, and skills and the fans should follow suit.
I also give shout outs at the beginning. On wrestling twitter, I’m getting love for just talking within the community. But I tend to pick and choose when/who I talk with in the community. Don’t understand why every fandom need/has some toxicity.
I also mention the purpose of this newsletter and podcast. I want to do more. I really do. More content. But I am a one woman team. Not complaining, just stating some facts. If you ever wonder why this newsletter and all my content isn’t consistent, it’s because of that. Putting out something is better than nothing.
I still thank everyone that looks at this newsletter and listens to my podcast.
Eventually, I’ll brainstorm new ideas to help improve the Squared Circle Podcast.
Next newsletter: Review of AEW Dynamite.
Thank you for listening and enjoying! Tell a friend!
