It's a strange time. You know, you can make AI podcasts in five minutes and the host, you just give them some prompts and they will just make a full podcast. So Anna, what have you prepared for us? Well, it actually leads very nicely onto this because this has a very big AI online manipulation component to all of this. And that's below like bondage and tickling or something, you know, like pretty like, pretty like widespread fascinations. Where have we got to in our society? Because I think in the past it was something like, I don't know, feed and spanking. And now it's like, oh yeah, tickling and giant ass fetish. Like, okay. Yeah.

Well, yeah. I mean, I have a few theories, which I think I'll get into as to why I think this is so big now, which are, like, socio-political but also just technological. Let me just, for everyone else wondering what the hell, you know, it is, I can also just, like, explain a little bit more. It's, like, the drive behind it often comes from, like, this idea of, like, sort of worshipping a woman who can destroy you. And it really ties into the concept of really being destroyed as a man. Mm.

And it kind of typically falls into the broader genre of femdom or female domination, if you don't know, where the woman takes the dominant role over the man. That really makes sense to me because we see that in a lot of BDSM scenarios that men literally, after having suppressed women historically for so many centuries, now they want to be, they want to feel small. Yes, this was my theory. So you nailed it. Sorry. Take it away from me, why don't you?

No, I think it really, I mean, there are some people that would just think I really like the kind of fantastical nature to it. You know, it's obviously a broad spectrum. But I do think there's something in it with, especially like if it is becoming really big in VR, most consumers of VR are men. And when we're in the VR porn kind of scene, it's a lot of men who kind

God, I don't want to sound harsh. No, do. Go. Go for it. But maybe don't get a lot of real sex in their personal life. Okay, that's harsh. Yeah, it is harsh. Sorry. Not all, but, you know, like, I think it can be very addictive because the VR porn is super realistic.

So this is thriving in this environment. Are we at this point where it's already super realistic? It's not. The thing is, I don't think it's made to be realistic. I think I know what you mean. So maybe it's like because it's realistic because it's still porn and you feel like you're really in the scene. But at the same time, you know, it's virtual reality. Exactly. And I just think with giant tests in general, it's really impossible to... It's not impossible, but it's really hard to explore this in real life because...

Giants don't exist. That might be the reason, yeah.

Yeah, so it would make sense that it's popping off in porn rather than, you know, in the dungeon. No, kind of, yeah, I'm sure you will be telling me. I just have so many questions. Best, okay, I'll just listen to you and I ask them at the end. Okay, so why now? I think we've kind of covered some of that, but it's become a really big thing on TikTok. It didn't necessarily start out in fetish and it was just people kind of hashtagging giantess and...

And basically using their camera to sort of from the bottom, like from the ground up. So you could just manipulate the kind of video to look like a really tall woman. This was going around on TikTok and eventually it found itself into fetish TikTok. And it's like exploded there. So, you know, you can actually with your camera kind of get this idea that the women are giants. This.

This makes now a lot more sense to me because I felt like, okay, what do you in this fetish porn, how do you do it? You know, because I imagined like two people, but of course, if just a woman is kind of filming herself. Exactly. And also like the videos where they like the woman from panning up and she's got shoes on and she kind of has this figure of a little man and she steps on it. So it's like stomping on it or looking down on it, picking it up, you know,

up, you know? So it really is about optics and perspective in this cake. But also you can find online like actual kind of comicky looking old, you know, like green giants and people consume that porn too. And so like central to the fetish is a feeling of submission, you know, very classic BDSM of helplessness. And, you know, this idea that like,

Your life and who you are, it's not important to her. That's a very important component of submission, that you are sort of nothing. This fetish then, it's really about the submissive, maybe the humiliation aspect, but I guess it's got nothing to do with sex because how do you do that? Well, it's interesting you say that. Some of it's not, but some of it, say a fantasy could be. The giantess picks the man up.

And I think it's hard as like a woman and you as a gay man to really feel like I want to be reduced to like nothing in society because I feel like there's probably times enough. We have to fight for our place in society. Exactly. I think like, and now that we have more rights, it's like, I think this is like having enough on effect with men feeling like women and the queer community are having a lot more say in culture, having a lot more, you know, status in culture. And for that,

there's this kind of reaction to wanting to like own the powerlessness that they feel and

and own the kind of losing the power that they felt they should have access to. But this is a total theory, by the way. Nothing proven. What I also find really funny is how lately a lot of BDSM trans start on TikTok. Yeah, and I don't have a TikTok account. Also, yeah, because we're old, Anna. We're millennials. We're not with the young, cool crowd. Oh, no, I know.

I know people my age that have it. I just know I'd get addicted to it. I'm already addicted to Reels on Instagram and they're the same. Yeah, I'm really addicted to Instagram. But, you know, I tried to get addicted to TikTok several times. It never worked for me. It always shows me some things I don't. I don't know. That's interesting because, you know, they say that it has like the best algorithm for like keeping you hooked.

Apparently there is even a number of reels you need to see to get addicted. I think like a number of Instagrams, TikTok, sorry. You need to see to get addicted and it's like 120 or something. It's very low. Is that low? That seems high. No, but for something to get addicted to.

Well, yeah, there was definitely an issue there. Yeah, but I think it's so because so many times we talk about how much censorship there is on social media. And then still, I think the BDSM community is on TikTok. Especially the young BDSM folk, they find a way to talk about BDSM in a very coded, very neutral way so that their videos are allowed on TikTok. For sure.

Sure. And also, like, if you keep it light enough, you'll be okay. It doesn't seem as punitive as Instagram or YouTube in that sense. Maybe it will become that.

But it seems like you can talk a little bit more freely than like, you know, in Instagram, you have to use different words and stuff. I mean, I don't know if you have to do that on TikTok. Maybe you do. But it does seem like more of a free for all. On the one hand, these videos of women like filming themselves in a way that makes them seem really tall, really big. At the beginning of this episode, we talked about VR and artificial intelligence. So is there kind of new content coming from that side? Yes. Yeah.

So if you look back to before 2017, you'd find a couple of giantess videos. And speaking of one of the most visited sites in the world, Pornhub, now you will find over 5,000 video results for the term giantess. It's a really big number for quite a niche fetish, and the majority of these videos are generated by AI.

It's not something that you're going to be getting a porn performer to do as much as someone really good at AI or someone really good at video editing is going to be making most of this content. I have to say here one thing that's a bit controversial. I think all through history, porn is really one of the most creative genres.

I have to agree. I really do. Because, you know, also when I think of, I mean, of course, there's a lot of bad things happening in porn. We know, we talked about this. We should really do one episode just about porn. We really should. It's a big topic, obviously, in this world. Also for our listeners to really understand what we mean when we always say kind of we are really pro-porn, but then there's bad things happening in porn. La la la. Yeah.

But in AI, I think, for instance, chat GPT, it's like Instagram. You can't even say sex and then say, oh, this might go against our guidelines. Even so, porn producers and sound test porn producers find a way to produce content and videos with AI. So that's really amazing. Absolutely. I'm using like a lot of AI in my day job.

And there are companies that are only doing adult content AI. Really? They're training models. And I'm in contact. I have a meeting with one later today. They are training their AI to only do like sexual stuff.

Because you're not going to be able to do it with the mainstream stuff. So you kind of have to develop it yourself. And you kind of like see this kind of shadow economy because like you don't search in adult content AI and get loads of results. You need to kind of know a friend of a friend of a friend or a contact of a contact who will put you in touch with a guy who's doing this. And I think like you say, it's like porn, but just the sex industry in general is so creative, ahead of trends.

survives like all these restrictions gets around it look at OnlyFans it's like as soon as things would come in restriction on other platforms OnlyFans creators went to this platform and now it's basically a platform for sex work and like sex content even though OnlyFans would say it's not I mean OnlyFans the company so I totally agree with that I think there's terrible things in porn as well but I think there's such like

They're so dynamic, you know, people that want to do content and get it out there. They really are a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Not like so many corporate jobs say, but in porn, wow, innovation is really fast. I don't know if you remember when I quit my last job and I went to LinkedIn because I was having interviews with companies and I was feeling that I was getting paid.

kind of rejections about like the cultural fit or values fit. Oh yeah, I remember. And I think it related to my background in this kind of content. And I wrote on LinkedIn this post about like, actually you should hire people like us because we have actually learned how to get around Google Ads restrictions. We've learned to get stuff out there against all odds. And actually that takes a lot of creativity and effort.

sheer force of will and that kind of like it didn't go viral I'm not going to say it went viral but for me it kind of went viral I mean it is true like marketing for the sex industry is like really one of the hardest thing you can do and you really need to know your way around and you always need to kind of think of a creative solution because there's no way you make it a mainstream you're never going to make it in the mainstream sorry to tell you so

So as we were talking about, a lot is generated with AI. So it has this massively in vogue technological component to it. When I was doing my research, I'm trying, we've talked about it a little bit, but like what's behind the kink, you know? What's the psychological drive behind this kink? And maybe it's like people with macrophilia in general.

The vast majority of people behind this is to do with this, like, you know, women being seen as a little bit more powerful in society and men needing to kind of be dominated and owned that.

But it also might be that women are generally shorter than men and they kind of find it sexy that a woman would tower over them. You know, the thing is also there's this whole thing going on social media how short men are having a really difficult time on Tinder. Oh, no. I did read that as well. Because women don't want to date short men. Oh, my God. This...

It's like small penis humiliation. You know, maybe not the whole kink, but you know how some men who have small penises sometimes like to get humiliated by it to externalize an internal conflict. And maybe it's a similar thing with the giantess fetish, that kind of men who have a difficult time dating women, they want the giantess porn to get really an extreme version of their predicament of sex.

of kind of not finding anybody because they're short. Sorry, I'm really judgmental here. No, I think that could be really true. I think there's so many different forces at play. You know, there's not one thing. Some people might just enjoy the kind of online fantasy element of it. And that's totally fair too. I heard that in Silence of the Lambs, there's this scene when Jodie Foster's in the elevator.

And she's surrounded by all these men and kind of she realizes that she is a woman in a man's world, that she's kind of really powerless. And for this scene, they really only selected men who were super tall.

who were always almost two meters tall to make her seem even smaller in the scene. And I think it's something similar. We portray women very small and helpless in the world. And I think that might also be a really good reason why why talent has fetish. Absolutely. I think that's a...
