Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher discuss U.S. Marshals, the sequel to The Fugitive. Released 5 years after the original, this spin-off follows U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones) is hired to track down yet another fugitive. This time around it's Mark Roberts (Wesley Snipes), a former Special Ops expert with an outstanding warrant for murdering two DSS agents. Helping Gerard is DSS Special Agent John Royce (Robert Downey Jr.) who is trying to avenge his fallen comrades.
Working off a muddled script by John Pogue, Tommy Lee Jones and Wesley Snipes shuffle their way through a labyrinthine plot. This is unnecessary at best and lazy at worst. Jones has some fun returning to the role which won him an Academy Award, and Snipes nails his action scenes. Not quite good enough to be a movie to enjoy on an airplane, U.S. Marshals is barely worth your time. Go watch The Fugitive twice instead.
Mat reveals that he's a bit let down by the lack of save points in the PS4 video game Kingdom Hearts 3. Thrasher likes Day of the Animals, a serious animals run amok movie starring a pre-Naked Gun Leslie Nielsen.
