A darker sequel that has almost nothing to do with the book, The Lost World: Jurassic Park has one or two good sequences but lacks a cohesive structure or compelling characters. InGen, big game hunters, and our heroes (Jeff Goldblum returns as fan favorite Ian Malcolm) get involved in dinosaur carnage. Just when you think the movie's over, it has quite a ways to go with its Godzilla homage set in the suburbs. Ambitious movie, but it's not so great.
