A more direct sequel to the original than the second film, this one features the welcome return of Martin Krove as the villanous John Kreese. The stakes are kind of lame and a step back from the overseas exploits in The Karate Kid Part 2. A mixed bag to be sure, but The Karate Kid Part 3 is a touch more watchable than The Karate Kid Part 2.
