A loose adaptation of the first batch of issues of the comic book, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles takes its lead from Tim Burton's smash 1989 Batman film to be a comic book movie with a darker more serious tone. The titular turtles meditate, feel angst, and apologize to each other. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have never been treated with such reverence on the silver screen and likely never will again. Look for a young Sam Rockwell as the leader of the teenage gang.
