Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher discuss Power Rangers. A 2017 reboot for the big screen, Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) renews her betrayal of Zordon (Bryan Cranston) on Earth in present day.

It's a movie in which the Power Rangers barely appear. There is some decent social interactions between the teens, but the story slogs to an action-packed ending. It's too little too late. This was meant to be the first of a six-part series, and you can tell. Exposition is the name of the game here.

Thrasher likes the documentary Bathtubs Over Broadway. It's about the odd history of industrial musical numbers. Mat feels Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes is a detailed 4-hour documentary on the titular killer that can be a little dry at times.
