The Indiana Jones family grows with the addition of Indy's father Henry Jones Sr. (Sean Connery). Closer in tone to Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade ups the humor and takes few risks; it's the Return of the Jedi of the Indiana Jones series. The Nazis as the villains once again are a bit tiresome, but the many scenes showing Indiana Jones' estranged relationship with his father are a true highlight.
