In the works for well over a decade, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull injects pulp elements of 1950s creature features into an overloaded tale of the fabled extraterrestrial crystal skulls. Although it's not as bad as reviews would have you believe, this flick starts off swell and starts to lose its focus the more it shoehorns in Mutt, his asshole of a long lost son Mutt played by flavor of the week Shia LaBeouf. This is the kind of story that would play better in a comic book than in a movie.
