Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi, William Thrasher, and Jersey Jason discuss the original Ghostbusters film from 1984. Zuul and Gozer the Gozerian start a phantasmagoric assault on New York City. Only Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Raymond Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis), and Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) can save fight back with their proton packs!
A nigh perfect blend of comedy, action, and horror, Ghostbusters works best when the titular team is trading barbs. Things get a little creaky here and there towards the end, but the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man battle more than makes up for it.
