Mat interviews Marc with a C on his new two disc compilation Maybe It'll Be Good: The Best of Marc with a C and his memoir of the same name. Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher discuss the 1931 Dracula film. Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi) goes to London to acquire some land.
Dracula is based on the stage play and not the novel. It often feels a bit stiff and has a hard time improving on its excellent opening before Renfield and Dracula venture to London. Acting here is fine all around, but there's a leaden quality to the whole shebang.
