John McClane (Bruce Willis) is now divorced and washed up. He has to stop a new group of terrorists from setting off bombs in Manhattan and robbing Fort Knox.
A good return to form until the flabby finale, Die Hard with a Vengeance makes great use of Samuel L. Jackson as a co-star. In the prior movies, John McClane was a one man killing machine. Here, saddling him with a sidekick injects a nice bit of humor into the proceedings.
