Featuring a pun packed screenplay, Batman & Robin succeeds better than Batman Forever by going full tilt into the land of camp. Taking inspiration from the popular Batman: The Animated Series with how its villains look, a treacly theme of family pervades the leaden story. This is more of a Batman to laugh at than to take seriously.
