Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi, William Thrasher, and special guest Russell Dyball (Production Associate for Shout! Factory) talk about A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. Wes Craven's original screenplay was rejected, but the final film features a script featuring work by wunderkind Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Mist). A gang of teens are attempting suicide thanks to nightmares from Freddy Krueger, but new intern Nancy Thompson (Heather Langenkamp) is able to connect with them. Can they finish off the child killer once and for all? This flick is a fine balance between the dark horror of the original and the pun-filled camp of the later sequels.
Mat enjoyed some of Movie Bob's YouTube videos) on the Transformers and DC Cinematic Universe films. Thrasher had fun with Thor: Ragnarok. Both of them chat at length about what may lay in store after Marvel is finished with Phase Three of their Marvel Cinematic Universe (i.e. post The Avengers 3).
