I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief John Bickley. It's Wednesday, November 6th, and this is your Morning Wire Afternoon Update.

We're going to make you very proud of your vote. I hope that you're going to be looking back someday and say that was one of the truly important moments of my life when I voted for this group of people beyond the president, this group of great people. America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate.

the greatest political comeback in American history. We're going to leave the greatest economic comeback in American history under Donald Trump's leadership. I will bring every ounce of energy, spirit, and fight that I have in my soul to the job. Nothing will stop me from keeping my word to you, the people. We will make America safe, strong, prosperous, powerful, and free again. It's time to put the divisions of the past four years behind us.

behind us. It's time to unite. And we're going to try. We're going to try. We have to try. Success will bring us together. I've seen that. America's future will be bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer and stronger than it has ever been before. God bless you and God bless America. Thank you very much. Thank you.

Former President Donald Trump is now projected to have swept all three blue-wall Rust Belt states. Daily Wire deputy managing editor Tim Rice has the latest on the Electoral College tally.

Outlets are now officially projecting Michigan for Trump, completing his Rust Belt trifecta after both Pennsylvania and Wisconsin were called for him. While some votes are still being counted around the country, Trump also appears to have won the national popular vote, the first time a Republican has done so in two decades. Having already secured the win in six of the seven battlegrounds, the president-elect also holds a significant lead in Arizona. If he takes that, he's completed the full sweep of the battlegrounds.

Kamala Harris is set to deliver her concession speech this afternoon at 4 p.m. Eastern. This comes after she failed to address her supporters last night before having her campaign co-chair send them home. According to CNN, in her speech at Howard University, the VP will implore her supporters to accept the results of the election and, quote, urge the country to work together to find areas of common ground.

The Washington Post reports that Harris has already called Trump to concede and congratulate him.

According to Harris team insiders, Tim Walz has been identified as a major cause for the Democrats' loss last night. Daily Wire reporter Amanda Prestigiacomo has more. Harris Walz surrogate Lindy Lee, a member of the DNC National Finance Committee, told a Fox News reporter that Walz was a bad choice and that Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro could have helped deliver the blue wall to Democrats. It's widely believed that Harris passed over Shapiro, who is Jewish, to appeal to the left flank of the party.

Wall Street rallied today on the news of a decisive Trump victory. All three major benchmarks set record highs, with the Dow jumping 1,300 points, the Nasdaq rising 425 points, and the S&P increasing 103 points.

World leaders roundly congratulated Trump on his return to the White House. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called Trump's victory, quote, the biggest comeback in U.S. political history. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took it one step further and called it history's greatest comeback. Warm messages also came in from Argentina's Javier Mele and El Salvador's Nayib Bukele. Results?

Brazil's left-wing leader Lula da Silva offered support for democracy. Ukraine's Zelensky said he looked forward to continued strong bipartisan support. Russia floated the idea of a reset with the U.S., while China said it respects the choice of the American people.

A clip of CNN's Jake Tapper is going viral for his stunned reaction after comparing Harris' performance to Biden's in 2020. Harris failed to outperform Biden notably in any state and the vast majority of counties. Are there any places that the vice president is overperforming Joe Biden in 2020? So we can show you that as well. We just bring that out here. Harris overperforming 2020. Holy smokes. Literally nothing? Literally nothing.

An update from this morning. Nebraska is now the third state to reject their pro-abortion ballot measure. The state had dueling measures, one of which would have enshrined the right to abortion in the state constitution, which Nebraskans rejected. The state also had an opposing measure that would limit abortions after the first trimester with exceptions, which passed. ♪

And another update from this morning's show. Far left Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon is projected to have lost his reelection bid and by a lot. With 59% of the vote reporting, Gascon was losing to Nathan Hockman by 22 points, 39 to 61.

Hockman is a former federal prosecutor who has vowed to go tough on crime. With the loss, Gascon's progressive policies in L.A. will come to an end after just one term.
