The resumption【恢复】 of work for Shanghai-based enterprises continues, as several important firms work to overcome difficulties to achieve normal operation. Lei Shuran has more.

上海企业的复工复产有序推进，几家重点企业克服困难，维持生产经营。更多消息，请听雷舒然带来的报道。

During the covid outbreak, Shanghai Electric Group's 38 subsidiaries maintained operation, with nearly 4,000 employees continuing to work in closed loop management. Its Lingang nuclear power equipment factory successfully tested critical components which will be used in Hualong One reactor's in Zhangzhou. The factory has been stepping up its efforts to restore capacity, currently more than 50 percent of its national projects have started operation.

疫情期间，上海电气集团下属38家重点企业保持正常运行，近4000名员工坚守岗位，闭环生产。位于临港的上海电气核电工厂顺利完成了将用于漳州“华龙一号”反应堆的心脏设备的出厂试验。工厂加快推进恢复产能，目前，其国家重点项目的开工率已达50%以上。

In terms of project cycles, they've reduced the delay time by about one third. Additionally with more efforts in process optimization【优化】 and some reasonable production arrangements, we hope to reduce the delay even further.

As the spread of virus has gradually come under control in Fengxian District, local firms have also been resuming work. More than 400 employees of cosmetics manufacturer Jala group returned to their workplaces today at Oriental Beauty Valley industrial park. The park has made arrangements for each employee returning to work to do 2 PCR tests everyday.

2.MORE DELIVERY WORKERS BACK ON THE JOB

Shanghai's e-commerce platforms say more delivery staff are returning to get food and other essentials to people during the lockdown. The companies have also launched different plans to ensure the safety of delivery staff. Zhang Yue has more.

上海多个电商平台安排人员返岗，为封控期间的居民配送食物及其他物资。企业制定了不同计划来保障员工的安全。更多消息，请听张乐带来的报道。

Delivery platform Meituan has been working with the Baoshan District government to help delivery staff like Xu Xiaoling get back to work. They have offered face masks, and arranged 15 rooms that accommodate【提供住宿；容纳】 some 50 deliverymen.

美团外卖平台与宝山区政府合作，帮助像徐小玲这样的外卖员返岗。他们提供了口罩，并安排了15个房间为近50位骑手提供住宿。

We cannot go home after we get back to work. Previously, we were stationed in a hotel. But later the hotel was turned into a quarantine site【隔离点】, so we moved into this dorm. Our company also offered us masks and other supplies including hand sanitizer.

我们返岗之后就不能回家。前期给我们安排了酒店，但是之后酒店变成了隔离点，所以我们就搬到宿舍这里来了。我们公司还提供了口罩和其他物品，包括消毒洗手液。

All the delivery staff must submit a negative PCR test report, temperature record and health QR code before beginning their shift. The local government also organized daily PCR tests for them. And to alleviate delivery pressures, more delivery workers from other regions were transferred to Shanghai.

所有骑手在接单前必须提交核酸检测阴性报告、体温记录和健康码。属地政府还为骑手开辟核酸检测专场。为了减轻配送压力，有更多其他地区的骑手驰援上海。

We are not under lockdown. And we are willing to offer help as many of our colleagues cannot get back to work.

Meituan says it is now working with 31 hotels to offer delivery staff accommodation. And the company has increased subsidies for deliverymen from 7 to 10 yuan per order.

We want to encourage delivery staff who are now working. Aside from the subsidies, drivers will not be punished for bad feedback.

Some 2,800 Ele.me delivery staff returned to work in the past week. Full-time drivers who work eight hours a day and deliver more than 15 orders will also receive a bonus of 150 yuan.

We're trying to help more locked down delivery workers get to work, especially full-time employees. We will prioritize medication orders.

Platform managers also say the most difficult part is to arrange accommodation for delivery workers as there is a shortage of hotel rooms in the city. They hope this problem can be solved soon.

3.IMF DOWNGRADES GLOBAL GROWTH FORECAST FOR 2022 TO 3.6%

The International Monetary Fund yesterday has lowered its forecast for the year to 3.6 percent, one day after the World Bank downgraded its forecast by nearly 1 percent.

国际货币基金组织（IMF）将2022年全球经济增长预期下调至3.6%，一天前世界银行将其预测下调了近1%。

According to its latest World Economic Outlook report, the IMF has downgraded its global growth forecast for 2022 by 0.8 percentage points from its January projection【预测】. The financial institution also lowered its global growth forecast for 2023 from 3.8 percent to 3.6 percent. According to the report, the Russia-Ukraine conflict will have profound and lasting impacts on the global economy that will exacerbate price pressures and policy challenges. The report also said that the conflict is expected to further increase inflation, which was now a 'clear and present danger' for many countries, and warned that further sanctions【制裁】 on Russia to target energy exports would cause another major drop in global output.
