He loved her very much.一个男人娶了一个漂亮女孩他非常爱她One day she developed a skin disease.Slowly she started to lose her beauty.突然她得了一种皮肤病慢慢地开始失去美貌It so happenedthat one day her husband left for a tour.While returning he met with an accident and lost his eyesight. 碰巧有一天她丈夫去旅行回来的路上他遭遇车祸失明了However their married life continued as usual. But as days passed she lost her beauty gradually.然而他们的婚姻生活照旧但随着时间的流逝她越来越丑Blind husband did not know thisand there was not any difference in their married life.失明的丈夫并不知情他们的婚姻也没有任何变化He continued to love her and she also loved him very much. 他依然爱她她也非常爱他One day she died. Her death brought him great sorrow.一天她还是离开了她的离世给他很大伤痛He finished all her last rites and wanted to leave that town. 他处理好一切后事想要离开那个城镇A man from behind called and said, now how will you be able to walk all alone? All these days your wife used to help you. He replied, I am not blind.后面有人叫住他说：“现在你自己怎么过?以往都是妻子照顾你的。”他回答说：“我没有失明。”I was acting, because if she knew l could see her uglinessit would have pained her more than her disease. 我是装的因为如果她知道我能看到她的丑给她带来的痛苦比疾病本身更让她难以承受So I pretended to be blind. She was a very good wife. I only wanted to keep her happy.所以我假装失明她是个好妻子我只想让她开心Moral:Some times it is good for us to act blind andignore one another's short comings, in order to be happy. 寓意：有时为了开心我们假装看不见别人的短处也挺好No matter how many timesthe teeth bite the tongue, they still stay together in one mouth.
