It is hard to believe that we have been playing Pokémon GO for 5 years! We reflect back on when we downloaded the game and what it was like early on. From stories of our favorite meetup spots to the challenges that players in rural areas faced.

 

To celebrate the anniversary, Niantic has released an event that brings us Starter Pokémon, new costumes and a new Shiny Pokémon! The fan favorite Collection Challenge is back along with the return of Shiny Meltan!

 

Let’s not forget about GO Fest, which is just a week away! We have details on how the Samsung sponsorship will impact Trainers, as well as some hilarious video content from The Try Guys. We are so excited to get out there and play, and we think like Gible Community Day that the players will be out in droves.
