Detroit Lions completely dominate Tennessee Titans in blowout fashion winning 52-14 at Ford Field in Week 8 of the NFL. Detroit Lions took a commanding 35-14 lead at halftime and never looked back against Tennessee Titans. Jared Goff did not have a big statistical day, but he led the Lions offense in a big way as the offense scored 35 points in the first half for the first time since 1970. Kalif Raymond returned a punt for a touchdown and also caught a receiving touchdown on a day the Lions simply could not be stopped. David Montgomery ran for a touchdown and threw for a touchdown while Brock Wright caught his first touchdown of the season. Detroit Lions defense forced FOUR turnovers – a Trevor Nowaske interception, a Kerby Joseph interception, Amik Robertson forced a fumble that Carlton Davis recovered, and Carlton Davis then forced a fumble that Isiah Thomas recovered. Jahmyr Gibbs had a big day on the ground for the Lions including a 70 yard touchdown run. Amon-Ra St. Brown caught a touchdown in the rout of the Tennessee Titans. Detroit Lions remain in first place in the NFC North and are now 6-1 on the season.
