Cole Kmet is a more important part of the Chicago Bears offense than many people might think, but he's not the type of tight end that typically get paid the big bucks.

That complicates the current long-term contract negotiations, especially with a productive backup next to him in Robert Tonyan, who could be key to opening up Luke Getsy's offense for Justin Fields.
