The NFL salary cap is going up more than expected, which means the Chicago Bears have even more cap space to sign free agents.

It also means those free agents are going to want bigger contracts, including Jaylon Johnson. But that might end up only applying to the top free agents, and teams like the Bears could save money on lesser players on the open market.
