The Chicago Bears got an important upgrade to their defensive line with Montez Sweat, who has a proven and well-rounded skill set worth a second-round pick in a trade.

Ryan Poles also held onto cornerback Jaylon Johnson despite his trade request. The next step is to sign both of them to long-term contract extensions.
