What is your source of comfort? Does it come from the luxuries of life, or even the lack of difficulties? When things get hard, do we ask God to make it easier or, like Joshua, do we ask for more daylight so we can complete our work? Pastor Wade pushes us to recognize where we are seeking comfort in our lives and encourages us to welcome suffering and embrace discomfort to "fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions." The work the Lord has assigned us and the trials we face are not the problem, they are exactly what we need to depend on God and the comfort He gives.
