When this phrase is used in our day, it has come to mean that a minor annoyance has arisen and has caused a minor frustration. The kind of struggle that the true believer must engage...the kind of struggle that is real...is not one that is longing to eliminate difficulty but rather one that is willing to wrestle and struggle until the victory is won! The true believer longs to continue in a Godly struggle to see God's promises fulfilled! The true believer is ready to struggle as long as necessary to bring about the blessing of obedience that God has purposed for you! Let these men of God challenge and encourage you to engage in the Godly struggle that will in fact bring about refining in every area of life! The struggle is real!
