Mom, Dad, I humbly suggest you save some money and shop Amazon for back to school. It's for my growth, meaning my body's growing at an alarming rate. And clothes you buy me this year will be very small very soon. Plus, the clothes I love today will be out of style tomorrow. But at least your wallet doesn't have to be my fashion victim.

if you shop low prices for school at Amazon. Hopefully this is helpful. Amazon. Spend less, smile more. This summer, during the biggest sporting event of the year, Peacock turns to two broadcasting legends for the Olympics coverage you can't find anywhere else. Um, I think they mean us. Oh, s***. Um...

I wonder how that would turn out actually. If you go say one thing you hate about each person in the room and then start the pod, that's fun. I feel like it would make it more comfortable. Just say one thing you hate about everyone. With your best friend, you don't talk about the stuff you hate? Oh yeah, yeah.

That's a good theory though because I always say this my sister if I make fun of you if I make fun of you if I if I like hate on you sometimes yeah You can't do that to nobody else yeah, that's what my brother says - he's always really mean to me He's I'm saying it out of love because like nobody else gonna say it's the harsh truth that you need There's a difference sometimes though no like trolling me or what like hate and then there's like hating just a and then there's just like for like out of love and

But that's how I determine if you're going to be a long-term friend. Because if you can't, if you can't, if we can't even have those like hard conversations. I think I make my friends as soon as they talk about dreams with me. Oh,

That's my kicker. If I talked about a dream with you, then we're close. Like what kind of dreams? Just talk about dreams, bro. You've never talked about a dream with me, bro? No, we talked about dreams before. Like dream, dream? Or like aspirational? Yo, I had a dream that blah, blah, blah. Yeah. Because that's something personal, feel me? That is deep, yeah. But it's only certain friends I would talk about dreams with because I don't want them to think I'm like whack.

Yeah, I know what you mean. They don't want to like judge you for like what you're thinking. Exactly. Because dreams are special. Dreams, and they all have like a deeper meaning. You know what I mean? Like a psychological something meaning. You guys have like repeating dreams? I,

I used to have those. I used to have those. I hate those. You guys have those dreams where it's like you've been somewhere, but you feel like you've been that place in another dream before. Yeah. Like they're in the same universe. What's the location? What location do you have? It's like a certain room, but I've never seen this room before, but I always go there. No, there was like a convenience store. There was this one convenience store. I've never been, but I keep going to it in my dreams and I'm like, I've been here before. Like this isn't like a, yeah. I feel like sometimes like,

certain dreams i have are like continuations of dreams i've had like two years ago yeah i know it is like they're in the same universe it's in a little dream universe back into that version of you yo okay this is where i get fucked though because i i had the reoccurring dreams or like the the location that's reoccurring but it reminds me of shit that you see on back rooms that's why it's weird and i only see it after the fact that i had the dream because i used to have these dreams as a kid one of them was um it's

pretty much empty pools and it's just like never ending hallways of like super shallow pools. That's a recurring dream you have? Yeah. Do you think that's like something to do with like you being a swimmer? Might be. It might be. Do you guys think it's sorry do you guys think that dreams are like a deep like a psychological thing or do you think it's like a universe sign? Because that's why I don't know what I can say.

the side on it. Definitely a psychological thing guaranteed because there's a lot of shit like I go through and then I have a dream kind of about it, you know? So you don't think that it's like a sign? No, it is a sign. I for sure like 100% like, I think it's like a mix where it's like,

Certain things are signs, but certain times it's just you. But I feel like I've definitely had my fair share of warnings or communication with people that have passed through. Oh, you had those before? Yeah. Well, there was this one where family close to me passed away already for years ago already.

And then just like, I feel like when my life was starting to like get better, you know, I feel like I was like in like a weird place of life for like years. And then only like recent, like, I think it was only a couple of years ago where I had a dream. And then I was just like in this certain place that like we shared, like very like special, but like the windows were like, you know how like in like,

it's like very cliche where like when you're in like heaven like that other world it's like white like outside and like it's like it's like lights beaming into the house yeah so that we like that spot where I would always be with this person like it was like it's a relative yeah yeah so it was like in my house and it was like just light beaming and I didn't see their face but I heard their voice like I just like felt me like approaching them and then like

We like had like a, I didn't even say anything. They said stuff to me. Yeah. And then like, I woke up like crying because it felt so like real. Like that was, that's like my way. But I don't know who knows if that could be just like me psychologically thinking, like wishing to be closer again because like my life is so good. Or if it's actually connected. Or if it's actually connected, you know? I think that when it's like passed away people, I think that's them visiting you. That's what I think. I think they're coming and like saying hi. Yeah.

Have you had that before? I honestly have had like a serious death in my life, so I don't know, but I genuinely believe that. Cause my mom always sees, my mom says she has this thing where it's like the weirdest thing. Every time she sees her dad and her dreams who's passed away, every time he, if she gives him something, someone in our family dies. Like someone she knows. Yeah. That's like, um, that movie. What's that movie? Um, like,

Leonardo DiCaprio. Inception? No. But anyways, they would see like a signal. And if you have the dream of that signal, everyone in the family that sees it, they'll pass away. Yeah, no, she like said, she was like, I don't like seeing my dad in my dreams because every time, like she like gave him like a towel or something. And then my mom's aunt died. And it was like every time she's like, every time she sees her dad in her dreams, she starts getting nervous. She's like, I think someone's going to pass away. And every single time she said that she's like given her dad something in her dreams.

someone dies. Like, someone we know dies. You give in her dad something. Like, if she gives her dad something in the dream, then someone we know dies. I don't know what that is. You know what would be crazy? Like, if, like, we took that story and if we put it in, like, a movie, if the thing that they gave them, like, was connected to the death. To the death. That's crazy. Yeah. Fuck, it's crazy.

It's like a toy car and there's like a car. Oh my God. I don't know if it runs through my family, but do you guys ever have like a feeling that you know a death is coming up? No. No. I've had like, so like anytime, I've had like, anytime there's like death in my family, one of the younger kids in my family, no. See? What do you mean? What do you mean no? So like one time somebody like passed away in my family and then

my little nephew who was only maybe three or four, apparently that day they were saying their name. Clearly. And they don't really speak because they're still toddlers. They just randomly say a relative's name. And then that family got the... Just saying their name. Like,

Like that relative and then that same day that family got a call saying oh they passed away and then they're like what the hell? How do they say it? Is it constant? Cause if it's like Gavin Gavin Gavin They'll just like randomly say it you know

Yeah, what do you mean random? That's weird though. Yeah, like exactly like when you when kids like randomly say something Yeah, it's not it click on some to rest. I'm like no Like you know just say like words they they copy something. Yeah. Yeah I got you like first like if it's like a random word like a name of a

Distant relative. Like, why would he even say that? Like, why would he say it, right? And then, like, a ghost or something going to them being like, say, Evan. Probably. And then they go, Kevin. I feel like kids are sensitive to that stuff. Yeah, to that stuff. Yeah, yeah, for sure. And they say cats, too. Yeah, yeah, cats for sure, for sure. I heard this story before, and then this is similar to your story with, like, seeing a relative pass away. Yo, so it's a Reddit story. It's really famous, actually. It's going viral online.

This person, they had... I think their grandfather passed away. And when the grandfather passed away, he passed away in a way that... Like, he didn't know he was going to die. It was a sudden death just like that. And he had a dream about him. In the dream, he came to him and said...

hey uh where are we right now and he goes you know you died right and the grandfather did oh i guess that makes sense and he said he said the grandfather started talking to him and telling him there's this light i can see like this white light i can see yeah and he said yo just go to it like walk to it said i don't know i i don't i don't think it's time yet and then he didn't go so when he woke up

the house started to be like haunted. Like he would- - Oh, 'cause he didn't want to pass on? - Yeah, he didn't want to pass on. - So he was still staying in the house, basically. - Yeah, he was just staying in the house. Now there would be light flickerings or like, he would see objects that the grandfather loved move. - Yeah, like signs from him. - Yeah, exactly. So what would happen, I think there's another dream he had. There's another dream he had and he was trying to convince the grandfather, like, "You have to go to the light. You have to go to the light."

And eventually, like, Radford said, okay, you know, I guess it's time. And the moment, like, it all stopped. It all stopped. It all stopped.

That might be what ghosts are. Because it really might just be they didn't know they died and then that's why they're trapped. Or people that are just very reluctant to pass on. They want to hold on. They want to stay there, right? And the fact that the grandfather said like, oh, I don't think I want to go yet. I feel like that's why it's a lot of evil spirits that kind of stay as ghosts because they have such a strong feeling to stay attached to the earth because they're just like...

so it's almost like greed type of thing yeah like you want to stay yeah denial that's a good word like maybe they weren't good people so they want to know what's on that other side too yeah i know that's a good point they could be like i'm not i know what's on the other side of that and i'm not going yeah because they're not sure yeah my mom my mom was a caretaker for like old people and then when um one of them passed away they gave us their car

right? Whenever I'm in that car, the blue one, remember I always tell you the stories? Either something, like I run over something or like something, like when I turn, like a random fucking wall just spawns out of nowhere and just hits me. Yeah, like no, there's, every time I'm in that car, like something breaks down. Fam, I had it parked. He's not ready to let go of the car. Fam, I had it parked and the garbage truck hit it.

That's crazy. That's crazy, bro. He said no one is having this car. Deadass, bro. I just put that shit in the garage, bro. I'm not driving that no more. Some crazy shit would be if you're driving by yourself and then you just see someone in your passenger seat. No, that's why. You know those rides where you're the last one in the car and you're just driving down at night? Oh my God. I remember I had a homie tell me that like,

Something where he is his ex-girlfriend had like this guardian angel Yeah, she would like talk to him about it And then she said like don't look in the backseat or like don't look in your mirror because my guardian angels right behind I'm not gonna say who but like one of my parents had to make me that and then after he told me that I was I always get scared that like if you tell stories that they pass on to you so when he told me that I was like not looking at the

I was not looking at the rear view. I was too scared, bro. That's too scary. No, okay, my old house, I swear our basement was haunted. I don't know what was going on, but my mom, she told me, she was like, I never wanted to tell you guys that it was haunted because I knew you'd be too scared to go down there. Word. Your mom said that. Yes. She was like, I didn't want to tell you because we were like 13 at the time, like from 10 to like 14 we lived there. And she was like, I didn't want to tell you because there was a weird energy in there and I knew if I told you guys you would never go in there and be too scared to ever go there. But there was some

weird energy in there to this day I still have nightmares in that basement like I've had nightmares you sleep there like so what would happen was like we'd always sleep there in the summer because it was really cold and the rest of our house was like really hot and every time like my dad one time he slept there and he got like really bad like sleep paralysis like

He said he woke up and he was like, I just felt this weight. It felt like something was sitting on me and I couldn't move. And then one time I was sleeping and I was just like laying there and then I felt like spiders run up my arm. And I got up and I was like, the lights were off and like, I felt spiders run up my arm and I was like, oh my God. And then I get up and I'm like turning the lights on expecting to see like spiders because what the fuck was that? There was nothing there. Some guy, the ghost went like this. Like ticklings are.

They're like blowing me a kiss. And then we always have nightmares down there. Every time I'd sleep there, there was always like bad dreams. And then even this year, like literally I haven't lived in the house for 10 years now. And like I had a dream and I was in that basement and it was like a demonic thing was in there like throwing shit at me. And even like I was like, that's so crazy that like that energy is like still falling. Like I don't know how to describe it. The aura in that basement was so scary. There was like this static noise.

noise all the time. You should do a video about it. About my old basement. There's someone else lives there now. Oh, somebody lives there now. Yeah. Did you warn them or no? No. They weren't going to buy the house. They were just looking at that shit out, bro. Like what? Yeah.

Yeah, what ghost? You should hit him up. You should just be like, yo. No, no, don't hit him up. But I've had so many, like, to this day, I still have nightmares and they're always in that basement. Like, they're always in that basement. Those who have followed you, it's almost... Yeah, it's like... Like, you can return to there. The presence, like, is still following me. I wonder why it's always like, they're stuck to a place.

That's probably where it happened. Do you know any stories about what happened? Like murders, whatever? No, but something definitely did in the basement. Nowhere else. The rest of the house was fine. It's always the basement. It is always the basement. Why is that? Because we leave that empty. So it's like nobody lives there. Oh, true. It's just vacant. Like what you said, there's no life there. And it's like the lowest point. It's underground. It's closest to like... Yeah, oh, perfect.

Because I heard a medium on TikTok, they were talking about what happens with spirits and how shit gets haunted. Yo, you know what happens? If you leave somewhere too empty for too long, someone is vacant and then something takes the energy. They like empty places. It's crazy because you say that because

There's this famous restaurant. Not famous restaurant, but there's this restaurant that people know is haunted back home. And one time, there was a burger week happening. And so I went there. My friend used to work there. And she's like, do you want to come to the basement with me? Because I have to get something.

And I was like, isn't this place haunted? She's like, yeah, so I don't want to go alone. So you have to come with me. And I was hitting a vlog at the time. So I hit record, right? And for sure it was recording for already five minutes. I'm down there. I'm recording shit. I go upstairs. I try to check the footage because my camera shut off randomly. Oh,

I was like, okay, battery's dead. So I switched the battery, turned the camera on. All the footage for like the whole day, not even just that clip, gone. No! Like I'm not like no cap. And then that's why like for a while, I wasn't able to like open any files from the SD card itself. Like it was just corrupt. The whole SD card was just fried. It was dead. Yeah, I've heard so many stories about that. Yo, when we did Haunted Explorations, the fucking battery would drain quick. The flashlights too. Like they would just turn off. Shit would fucking drain. Yeah, because I would watch like Sam and Kobe like type video

And they always talk about that too. They always say like they take the life from like electricity or stuff like that. Yeah, they're definitely sucking it out. That's crazy. That's crazy. What the fuck?

No, but it's so true though. Cause it's like, I,

I think what it is, it's some electromagnetic field or energy that we don't understand, but we can comprehend it by shit that we have and do understand. So for example, like light, we can see light, but we can't see magnetism. We can't see like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, thermal energy, but we can just see what's physical to us. That's why I used to think like ghosts aren't like spirits per se, but like are just different people and like living in a different like frequency.

Yeah, I think that's what it is. You watch Talk To Me?

Yeah, that's how crazy it is. You haven't watched that yet, right? No, it's just... So pretty much in Cock to Me, they kind of tackle on that idea of what happens after you die and how spirits become spirits. And it's kind of what we talked about in the beginning where like if you're part of a tragic event or a tragic death, since your soul doesn't know they died, they just linger around. Now, in Cock to Me, what's fucked is they had this... Remember the monkey paw we talked about? They had this hand and...

And you're supposed to hold on to it and be like, talk to me. And a spirit will come to talk to you. Now, this girl, she held on for too long and she got possessed. Later in the film, she finds herself like in an accident. But when she dies, she becomes a lingering spirit. Until she sees a light. And in the beginning of the movie, one of the rules is when you do the monkey paw thing, you have to light a candle. And then that's how the spirit will come to them.

The end of the movie, she sees a little light, a little shimmer. She goes closer and closer and closer. And then she becomes the spirit on the other side. Going for the candle thing. Of talking to other people. That's crazy. So she's the person on the other side. That's so crazy. They basically like... So they just see a light. They don't know what it is, but there's like light. Yeah. Let's go there. And then...

It just so happens she's now communicating with the living. So what about that grandpa or whatever? The light he was seeing? I don't know. Because in the Reddit story, what they described is like he said, oh, I just see a light. Now, a lot of the time, like we hear stories all the time, like the light is, you know, the afterlife or heaven or whatever it may be. But maybe that's just... What if that's...

What if light is just what we think it will be type of thing? Because we're told it so much? No, not that, but...

Because when we all look at a light, right? We consider light something positive. But we all have a different concept of what positive is. So maybe that's the reason there's so many different takes on the afterlife with heaven or reincarnation or this and that. Because one of the craziest theories was if you see the light, that's the hospital lights as you are being born. Yeah, that's crazy. Reincarnation.

Do you guys believe like when you die, like you know the 15 seconds before you die, you see all your memories? Oh, that's what I think. Like all the good memories or do you think it's going to be bad memories? What do you think it's going to be? Some people say that like what if we're living, you know how like your life flashes before your eyes? What if,

- Right now? - We're living the flashback. - Yeah, we're living the flashback. - I feel like that was the first conspiracy theory I ever heard in my life as a little 12 year old. I was like, "Whoa." And they say in dreams, time moves slow. So it could be seven seconds in real time, but into you it feels like it's your whole life again. - Yeah, that ass. Holy fuck.

It's scary. You think your dreams are the parallel universes of you? I used to think that and then Marvel did the whole Doctor Strange thing and it kind of made it whack. It made it whack! I used to truly believe. Because it's like what you said. It feels like sometimes this dream connects with a dream in the same universe two years ago. And I get those all the time. And then as soon as Marvel did it, they low-key made it lame. Really?

You know, dreams are like one of the only things that like people can't figure out what the reason is. Yeah. And like, like I've always searched. I'm like, why do we have dreams? And they like people have theories that like it's just to like help you organize your memories and like let it as just to make space for certain things. But I'm like the fact that no one can figure out why we have them. No.

It kind of seems like there might be another universe that we're connected to. Maybe it's like collective memories from your past lives. That's why. I heard that one, yeah. What if you're reincarnating into different versions of yourself? Of you. And then your past memories are old memories from before, before. But I don't know. I feel like it also is like hints.

Because I remember I had one where I was on the highway and I was losing control of the steering wheel. And like I searched it up. Why am I always having the dreams of a car and I'm losing thing? And it's because my life wasn't together yet. Yeah. You know what? I've had that too. No, I've heard that. Where like the gas just doesn't work anymore. Yeah, it just doesn't work. Yeah, yeah. Because that's like my life slipping up. Like you have to fix yourself. That's like a common dream that people have. It's like if you can't control a car in your dream, it means you're having trouble like controlling your life. Exactly. It's like the teeth falling out thing.

Where like all your teeth start falling out out of nowhere so it's our superstition The theory is that if you see teeth falling out in your dream like your teeth are falling out It's supposed to represent like family members passing away. Oh, yeah, is that what it is? For mine like

Circling back to like the reoccurring dreams my I always tell this to like my girlfriend like every time I have it It's like I always get attacked by like wild animals Oh, like the first couple like I remember it felt like I was like tripping on drugs or something But like I was in like this jungle and there was a bunch of animals and they just looked off like it looked like a bear But it had like eyes like this big and they were like looking at me crazy and then all of a sudden like a jaguar would like bite me and

yeah and then i had another dream like recently where i was looking at like a black cat in a tree and then as soon as it like jumped down it started following me it started growing into like a big

Oh, that's great. That's sick, though. It would look at me in the eyes, but its eyes were glowing blue. That's sick, though. And then it would attack me. Oh, shit. So then I would look into it and what is animals attacking you? And it's like... I don't really believe it, what Google says, because they always say something like, oh, it means that somebody that you really trust is going to backstab you. That's the most obvious sign. But there's a reason why I'm having these dreams. I don't watch...

like jungle on YouTube and like Black Panthers like attacking people so it's like why am I thinking about these things you know what I mean because sometimes when we dream it's like stuff that we're thinking about already and then like sometimes when we dream it's like stuff that like don't even matter like it's like something you don't even think about

I always have fucking zombie apocalypse dreams. Oh, okay. All right. That makes sense for you, though. That's a very Carlos thing to have dreams about. Like, it's always my reoccurring one. Or someone's trying to rob me and, like, I defend myself. It's always that. Would you try? Would you guys try to survive in that case? No.

What? A zombie apocalypse. I know you would. I know you would. I would try hard. Yeah, I'll try a bit. But then once it gets bad, like there's a bunch of things on the road. Yeah, fuck that. No, I'm good. Don't beat him. Join him. That's crazy. I don't know what. Like, I'm going to try and stay alive. Because for me, if you're going to die already. Might as well make it easy. Oh. I was going to say, I thought you were two sides of the same. I was going to say, you're going to die.

die anyways might as well like make it nice and easy not a zombie eating you like my girlfriend says that all the time i'd rather i'm the other way rather than like well this is like a once in a lifetime experience like and if i'm gonna die why not try i know is it like i know it sounds weird but isn't it a bit cool yeah i'm gonna get bit and i'm gonna try my hardest to get carlos no i think about it in the other ways of yo the whole world is pretty much free now you can do whatever you want you're not free you're running away from

all the time. If you find an abandoned mall, you have a whole empty mall to yourself. That's kind of sick. But they're going to break in. They're going to break in. You can go to an abandoned mall and

You know that one episode in all fairly odd parents or Timmy Turner is in the is in the mall with what's-her-name Trixie yeah And then it's just them - in the whole world and they're just like riding on what do you call it? And all of that shit they can play with whatever they want in the store just grab it all the food they have to themselves and

I don't know. It's kind of cool to me. Okay, on that... Sorry, Timmy Turner, on that vibe, have you guys seen that one episode? It's like this one like... The Secret Wish? Yes! Is that not crazy? Which one? I only learned about that recently. You might have said this on the podcast before. That's the one where he actually wished to stay the same age forever. And then they're like, how long ago did you make this wish? And he's like, 50 years ago. That's wild.

That's crazy. No, I saw someone talking about how that was like the one thing that one episode like shook them like forever. They couldn't like watch it the same anymore. I couldn't. It made me so uncomfortable. I was like, oh my God. Yeah, it came out a little bit like after like I stopped watching the show. That's a crazy episode. For that to like actually like make it on air, like for them to like do some twist like that, I feel like

Nickelodeon's like pretty like that was dark. That was dark. No, but that's sick though Cuz it's like oh maybe as a kid you're impacted by that and it teaches you a lesson I want a good final episode. I feel like it wasn't a final episode. Oh, never mind Just like dying

on its own. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wait, is it done? Is it done now? It is done. It's done now? Is there a finale though? There is a finale but it's not like big. It just ended up like a show dying. They introduced so many different characters and nobody was watching it no more. I watched a whole YouTube video on this. You ever go on YouTube and you just find niche videos like what happened to old TV shows? Stuff like that. Yeah, I saw it off like that one guy. The Secret Wish, that would have been the best final episode ever. That would have been crazy. No one could look at

If you were to direct the final episode of your life, how would you do it? Oh, like I know I'm going? Yeah. Oh, fuck. You have to direct the final episode of your life. And people watch it type of thing. I would make it seem so much cooler than I actually am. I'm going to make it seem like I'm fast. Would you want a content ending or like...

like what would you want like would it be i wouldn't want like a fire i was thinking like maybe like a self-sacrifice type ending yo i was thinking that yeah that's that's you that's carlos my shit my shit would be like there's a battle or something like carlos no we need you like i got you guys and i write off into the midst and some next to you no you have like a savior thing you would want

I think we just have like that hero complex. Yeah, that's the best ending honestly like when you watch movies like what's the best like when they check you like oh can you grab that the gun for me there for a sec and then you shut the door like yeah that's corny that's corny I love that shit that's not corny that's cool that's like the happy ending you know what I mean not

I would just have like a wholesome ending like we're all around the campfire all me and my friends and family But I feel like that's corny No, do you think my bad go ahead I would just want some like one of those where it like ties every loose end, you know No, when you you know when you watch like a series that's like a

10 seasons or whatever and then every end is like tied up every character is like yo that's hard I feel like the best one that did that was

How I Met Your Mother. Not the very, very last episode. Which one? How I Met Your Mother. But what episode? The second last one. The second last episode. Because nobody really counts the finale because it was so bad. No, I don't know why they did that. I'll never forgive them for that. But that show, it was so well-crafted throughout the entire show. And for it to bring every piece of, even every inside joke, they brought it to a conclusion. I remember watching that. I was like, wow. And then I was like, there's another episode?

The finale makes me cry every time. I'm like, this is horrendous. It's so well crafted. Right? You need a tying every loose end. That's how you end it. The tying loose end is why. I understand. Like even the side characters you didn't know would play a big deal in your life. Yeah. I think one of those would be like, I would want somebody that's kind of a close friend, but not that important in my head. But them tell me something like, yo, you know that time you were doing this? I actually did this for you. You know that time you did this? I was doing that for you.

because of that i became yeah and then because of that you were able to do this and then i would have never realized until they told me that that's true but that you know what that is that's really like jesus telling you after you die like yo you know i did that for you that for you that for you or or like another wholesome one where like all the people that i had maybe like beef with or like i just had all my exes in one room and like the final like we just all resolve it happily you know what i mean around the campfire you know what's crazy

And like, this goes back to dreams. I used to have so many... I used to have dreams where I would resolve my beef with people. Really? Yeah, like mad dreams. I kind of had that too. I'm the opposite. I feel like I'm such a guy where it's just like...

Like, I just get into shit and for, like, no reason sometimes. And then, like, it just bothers me that I'm, like, beefing with someone. Like, I don't like feeling unsettled with anybody. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? So then I start to dream, like, that for some reason we become, like, friends and we're, like, hanging out. And then I wake up and I'm like, damn, I still hate this guy. Or, like, he still hates me. But, like, it's weird. Like, I have, like, this unresolved thing. What's that word? What's that word when someone leaves you, like, hanging but it's, like, it's not fixed? Like, when you guys break up and shit?

Just like no closure? Closure, closure. So you would get closure in your dreams?

No, yeah, yeah. Kind of like, kind of like, yeah, I would get closure in my dream. But I will say there, there's low, like, underrated feeling is when you get closure with somebody you're beefing with. When you squash the beef. It feels so good. You know, underrated feeling. My therapist says that your dreams is what your subconscious thinks you need. So for you, your subconscious is like, oh, he needs this closure. So let me, yeah. Yeah. So like, if you're like, you want to talk to someone while they come into your dream, it's like your subconscious is like,

this is what I think they need to see that you're not getting from the real world. - Like on some Cinderella shit like a dream.

Yo, my dreams are always freaking action though. Yeah, I don't know what my dreams are. Go see a therapist. My dreams are always like I'm in a war. I'm like fighting somebody. Carlos is just living in an anime. Your entire life. I know that. That's what it is. Carlos Corp. Maybe that's what I need though. Maybe in my head. And the real world isn't giving it to you. That's why it doesn't. That's what it is. I think like deep down, I really, really want that heroic like story. You do. In the real world, he's just a boring ass

But I totally get that

It's like, why wouldn't you want... I feel like it's you showing yourself your true desire. Yeah. But the real thing is, though, I just try to do that in real life. You know what I mean? Might as well. And that's why you gotta watch Spider-Man rap because that's Carlos' dream. Quick link in the bio. Oh, they say we were all...

in it. Oh, we were. We got the cast. So go comment, go comment where you guys saw us with. I got a lot of comments being like, oh my God, you were the barista in rap. I was like, yeah, I actually did. I was like, damn, okay, yeah. No, guys, watch it for real. There's a lot of good people. All these people. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I,

I think next time I have a film, I really want to just add everybody I know. Just even as like a little thing because it's more fun like that. It's more fun when you can connect with all your homies and like, yo, that's you, that's you. And then just inside jokes and shit. And it was so fun watching it. Like all of us watching it, like seeing each other, you know what I mean? Your people at the theater are like, yo, that's you, that's you. And your friends like cheer when they see you on the screen. I don't know if you guys... Here it comes, here it comes. I don't know if you guys know like...

- Why are you looking up?

What did they say? I forgot what they were saying. Fuck, I forgot. I don't know. Here it comes. Oh, yeah. What? Oh, no, no. The film. Like, you were doing a film. But you know those ones where, like, you're part of a YouTube video? This is even before we started making content. Yeah. Or, like, you had a cousin or somebody that was in a video. And, like, you searched in and show all your friends. It's that same feeling. It's almost, it's so special to you because that's all you got at that moment. True.

But now we kind of lose that because we're in so much content. We're so used to it that we don't realize how exciting it is. You know what's crazy? Actually, now that you mentioned that, before, when I was in high school, I used to make vlogs with my buddies just to document high school life because I wish I documented more of my high school life because low-key, that shit was like,

That was live as fuck, right? Yeah. And so like, I remember one time, like I didn't think much of like the vlogs, but I remember one time one of my friends from a different friend group was like, yo, I want to meet this guy and this guy because he's so sick in your vlog. I was like, what? You want to meet the homies? Like, it's so weird. Like, you know, like they become fans of like your friends, you know? No, literally. When you put everybody in like the film, it's so sick because then they become friends of like the- Everyone.

Like the squad, you know? Yeah, just the squad. Even I was just thinking about it right now, right before I came onto this. I was like, there's so many guys in my classes that probably watch you guys. And they're like, yeah. No, literally, because a lot of my guy friends will be like, oh my God, you're friends with the Jumpers Jump guys. And I'm like, to me, I'm like, let's just, Carla,

Yo, it's so funny because family members go to me too Yeah, cuz family members would be like yo I have a co-worker that said he watched every single episode your podcast and this guy's like a grown man Like oh, yeah people watching me like that like no even like my brother He's not into the social media stuff, but he watches jumpers jump cuz I put him on Yeah, and every time I'm like with you guys or whatever. He's like, oh, it's so cool that you're like friends with people that I'm a fan of

So do you think the more you climb that ladder let's say you start meeting people that are super super important Let's say if again your friends with Elon Musk or your friends are like Mark Zuckerberg to Drake whoever right? Do you think it's the same shit where it's you become so comfortable or is it still that star effect?

I feel like it depends on, like, your approach with, like, people, right? Like, if you go to a celebrity and just, like, D1 glaze them, like, yo. Yeah, I know. I get that. Right?

I don't know. Would you want to glaze somebody? Yeah, cuz it's like I have I have people I look up to and I go up to them You know like honestly, yeah, you know, I think it's like if you're on the same level as them It's like fine, but when they're like above you I think you're always gonna still be like a little like whoa But if you're like same level or they're lower than like a list celebrity versus like influencer like we could never just see Drake is like Oh just Drake like

The thing is though, I feel like you have to do that. But even Drake's friends are all like, yes, man. They would never tell him like, hey, this isn't good. I think that's where social media just fucks us up because it's like everybody now is either a celebrity or influencer. So it's like the word glazing, especially. Oh, I can't even say what's up to my boy Carlos no more because that's glazed. I know. And Toronto is the worst for that. You're so right. Everyone's always like, stop.

the glazing yeah stop meat writing yeah or if you're like just even if you're just like yo man i love your shit i love your content like that's glazing now it's like bro like let me like it's corny to show love and i hate that like social media is always like they always find something to be like corny yeah or whack yeah why do you think that is why do you think like people want to make shit a problem just haters you know

- Yeah, also like jealousy low key, 'cause they're like, why are you like meat riding this guy when you should be meat riding me? - Yeah, that is true. - That might be why. - Like they wouldn't complain about it if they were in the other position ever. - Exactly, they're just insecure, that's what they want. - They're just annoyed that like another guy is getting all these guys getting, you know what I mean? - That's a good point, fuck those people.

Because if I see somebody that's like showing love and actually appreciating someone, like it makes me feel good. Like have you ever seen someone come up to you and like be like nice to you and be like glazing? No, because you're like, you know, you're in the upper position there. So it's only. And it's always only online. Yeah.

It's not real. The internet is not real. Tell me, like, you'll see somebody on the fucking street. If you're, like, saying hi to your buddy, somebody on the street is going to be like, yo, he's glazing, fam. Like, yo, that's not real. Stop the glazing. Good question. So before we all met each other, do you think we matched the personality portrayed online? Uh-huh.

- When I met Carlos, for sure. - You think so? - Yeah, for sure. - You know what's crazy? This is all like a puzzle piece, 'cause I met, knew of you first, I met you first, and then you went on their podcast, and then I saw you posting about it, and then that's how I found you, and then because of you and that, I found you. - Word. - It's this whole like, connect.

was friends with you and then you were on his podcast we linked first actually what? we linked so hard the first time I was in Toronto yeah the first time we were in Toronto I remember years ago and then I remember you were on his podcast and I was like oh this is cool so I watched that episode and then you weren't on that one it was just them two and then I started watching a couple more episodes and then that's when you were here too oh

That's crazy. Emson matched. So if I didn't exist, Sahar wouldn't have known you guys. Yeah. And now we're all here. You feel me? But like first meeting Emson, the first impression, because I knew he was going to be like the fluffy. I don't know. It's like very welcoming. We met at VELV. Yeah. You just met at VELV? No, you know what? You matched right away. You matched right away. Sahar didn't match for me though.

Because I thought she was going to be more mean, but right away she was welcoming. So I'm like, okay. You changed though. You changed though. I don't know if it was just for me though, but she was mad nice to me. I was surprised. I will say I was surprised. That I was nice? No, not that you were nice. You were just very like different than what I thought. I remember the first time I met you, I was like nervous. Yeah. I was like, I wasn't, cause I wasn't sure. Like, cause I think the way you make your content, you're not sure like,

I don't know. I can't really tell like if it's like what your personality is. No, but old Sahar content is different. I think now my content matches me, but I think back then, cause it wasn't about me, you know? And it's crazy. The first time I met you guys, you pulled up to my apartment. Just like, oh yeah. Literally. I remember Spencer texting me being like, we're with these like podcast guys. Like, can they come? I'm like, who? And she was like, jumpers jump. And I was like, oh my God. I was like, yeah. I was so excited.

So excited to meet you guys. Yeah, no, it was W. Yeah, that was a W. Yeah, because I think the impression I had of you was the old Sahara. Yeah, the old. So...

So when I met you and I looked at your content that you were making at that moment, I'm like, oh, okay, yeah, that's who she was. But before, that's the thing though because now, since we lived on the internet for quite a bit, people have certain conceptions of us that don't really match right now. Literally, my friends say when they watch my old content, they're like, I feel like you would have bullied me back then. Like, they literally say, like, you're so mean.

and I'm like no I like made I seem tough in my videos but I was the same like I was still like just as best but now I'm like and your humor your humor was different from mine so I didn't understand it yet right so you would make these like little jokes and I would be like is she making fun of me or is it just like a joke you know what I mean but I got used to it now you get it you think humor is the most important thing to building a relationship it's part of it

You have to have the same humor. No, you don't have to, but you have to understand each other. I feel like you can make people learn it, though. You're right, though, because I think at first you can think it's kind of weird, but then once you pick up, oh, that's just how they joke, then that's fine. Like how Gavin is satire, I'm just like, I can't tell sometimes. Gavin has been stuck on you and every time you say anything, he goes off on you. But even Gavin was offset by the way I joke around at first.

Wait, how? Like what? I don't know. Like, bro, like I remember I started joking around and then Gavin's just like, I just remember he was just always like,

Off whenever I said a joke he's like what? Like I always said stuff out of pocket. That is his reactions though. Like emoji. It felt like I always said stuff out of pocket. You're really emoji. But to be fair I do say a lot of out of pocket stuff. So I totally understand. Oh you do say things really randomly. But he gets it now and he doesn't react like that anymore. Because I get it. You know I actually remember that the time we went thrift shopping you meet Don A. I remember you kept saying weird things. I was like...

I'm not gonna lie. No, I just was like, he's not really matching the way that we're joking. No, no, no. I will say, the first time I hung out with Zaha, I was like, low key, yeah, the vibe was kind of weird. You're just sitting out because I said it. No, no, I promise you, I promise you, I'm just letting it out because you finally said it first. No, Doné and I were both like, what the fuck just happened? What?

Because I only knew Sahar. You didn't know Dane? I did, but I talked to you. You know what I mean? I didn't really talk to her. So when you brought her, it was like, not that it was unexpected because you already told me beforehand she was going to come. But I was like, okay, well, I know Sahar's energy, but I'm not really sure about her. So now I have to like... It'd be like that though because when you don't know everybody in the friend group, you kind of have to like build your ways through. And you know how you have like certain energies with different friends?

Friends like that's why it's like hard to like mix friends like you have a certain dynamic with these people and certain dynamic with these ones that you're like oh my god You know what I mix all my friends though I mix my friends too I mix my friends too Yeah but it was like something I had to like figure out but there wasn't enough time to figure out I got you fam when we went to LA and it was Dane and Sahar I was scared to say shit cause I thought that Dane and Sahar would like make fun of me

Exactly. Oh, really? Yeah, because I wasn't ready yet. You know what I mean? I wasn't used to them. That's not in a bad way. You just don't know yet. If you're getting used to one person, that's different because then you can kind of find an intimate thing between you two. But finding one thing between three people and you barely know each other, it's very difficult. It's hard when there's two people who already have a relationship. Exactly. And Doné and I have such a high energy friendship. Exactly. We're

It was kind of like out of pocket and I didn't know how far out the pocket I should go because I know I can get there I know I can come straight out the pocket, you know

I just don't know how bad it I can go till it's weird. You know what I mean? I get that. I get that. I was scared to cross the line. You were seeing where we were putting the line. Because I don't know how far they go. I don't know. You have to like. We go far. Exactly. You got to dip your feet in the water, but you can't start swimming. Yeah. Yeah. I get that. Understandable. Have you guys ever tried joining another friend group that you weren't a part of? Yes. I've done that a few times. I've like paved the way so I was able to.

somewhat you know what I mean cause during like first year uni I did that a lot cause a lot of my friends didn't have my classes and shit that's scary bro and a lot of people click up like quick time they do click up quick yeah click up quick time

So what I did, what I had to do to survive, I had to freaking, yeah, like, literally to survive because everybody's, like, clicked up together. I had to find a way in by one person. You have to start with one person. Yeah, start with one. And they kind of introduce you to the squad. And then, boom, all of a sudden I'm part of a friend group. Yeah.

Yeah. My first date with my girl was me. It was a trip. Fam, she brought her whole squad with her and it was just me. What the hell, guys? That's intimidating stuff. That's so scary. Me versus four people. So I, they had their inside jokes. I had to talk it out. I'm like, yo, what is going on right now? Am I doing good or not? And you're the only guy too. You're the only guy too. Exactly. And the girls talk. I know after you left that,

they were going off in the group chat. No, right away, right away. No, even at the thing, they were giving me mean looks. No, even this is something that just happened to me. I was with these two guys for like an assignment thing that we were doing and I've never really like talked to them properly. This is my first time like properly sitting down like talking with them and then we like talked outside and I was like, okay, I gotta go and then as I walked away, the first thought that popped in my head, I was like, are they talking about me right now? Like about you?

Oh, you think about that? I've never thought that before, but that was the first time that it popped in my head. Were they friends? They were friends, yeah. Oh, maybe they were. I feel like if you don't usually think about that, but now you do, then maybe. You have a crush on one of them? Mm-hmm.

No. She took a second. She took a second. But that was the first time I was like, damn, they could be. If those were girls, 100 billion percent that's what we would have. As soon as we left hanging out with you. Wait, hold on. Do girls actually do that? Like, with our days? Yeah. Girls always do that. It's the debrief right after. Yeah, the bathroom trip. Especially if you're like,

Minority in it like if there's one guy If it was like me and a girl and then you guys like probably not do you know what I mean? But if it was like me Don A. Empson dip that link up We just said it was always a little And you agreed it was kind of weird Yeah I agree in my head I was just like what the fuck just happened

I know. What the fuck? No, but I feel like every group has that, though. You know what I mean? Do you think if I came with you that day, we would all be friends, though? Oh, it would've... Well, we stayed friends. It wasn't like we stopped being friends after that. Yeah, it's not like we stopped. True, true, true, true. I think if you came, like, it'd be a little bit different. But, like, I don't know. Because then now we have to get used to, like, three people. No, and tell us you're really high energy, too. And it's like me or Donnie were high energy, you would've been high energy, and then Emerson's just trying to, like, catch up with it. You know what I mean? Word. No, Emerson's not that high energy, though. Emerson's not that high energy. Maybe,

Maybe after you get used to them get used to the people. I don't know I think Epsom's like me we like match energy. Yeah, I've managed it. We can be chill We can be sure first time I met Carlos. It feels like I've known this guy for already like five years. Yeah. Yeah But I did I didn't know Carlos I think we did know each other for like three years actually when you before even jumpers yo cuz we go studios Oh

He was my first model. Yeah. Or my second model. Something like that. I was the first. And then I remember the way I like rediscovered this guy, because I didn't technically know his name. I just knew of WeCo Studios. Yeah. Right. And then next thing you know, like I see like Jumpers Jump. I was like, oh, let me like follow these guys on Instagram. And then it says I already follow Carlos. I was like, who is this guy?

Why do I already follow him? And why does he follow me? And then I look at our messages. We already have like a text thread. Yeah. Because of like the Wiko Studio socks. That's so cool. It's crazy. Look at that. Good first impressions though. That's like that thing in the episode. People come back later in and then, you know, tie that thread type of shit. Yeah.

no like when we were in LA the one that was really welcoming that I was like oh shit it was Esther when she came up to us I was like oh yeah this is really nice this is like mom energy fam like holy shit I feel mad welcome no she's like when I met her too she said she used to watch my videos so she was like excited to meet me but she was so like and especially like

like intimidating like i don't at least you guys had each other when i went it was like just me and i was like oh my god i was just meeting like i kind of knew who talk like kind of knew vit like but i didn't know jeremy and esther at all so i was like so scared to that yeah but it was really fun yeah that's different because you do a lot of your stuff by yourself i mean you too because me and gavin whenever we walk into a building it's like you too yeah it would probably be us too so regardless you always have someone with you so if it gets awkward like i know carlos can say something or if he can't say it i'll

And you can like read off each other too to see like if he's the hot people. Oh and yeah that's facts like if we do meet some like weird person we have bad energy about we'll give each other like you guys know. You know what it is. Yeah.

You know who was the, one of the, I think one of the best like meetups, like after like not knowing each other? Josh and Denzel. Oh yeah. That was the craziest one. It felt like, like I've known them for like longer than this guy. Yo, that's why, that's why I have them around because this is just like vibey energy. And you have to find those people in your life because those are the people that will bring you the right energy people around. You know what I mean? It's almost like, it's just like this Mario Party game where you collect shit. It's like once you have one, it's easier to collect

That's like Sahar with all your cousins. Like when you're there, you know all your cousins are there too. That's so funny. Literally at my birthday parties, my friends are always like, why did I meet like 20 of your cousins? Like everyone, oh, I'm Sahar's cousin. And she's like, how many cousins are here? That's weird. Yeah.

I really do believe too that like you are who you like surround yourself with what's that thing? It's like you are like the average seven people you're closest to or something the average of the five closest people So like let's say like the five closest people you're around you're you're like a blend between all five of them that's why people say like Like let go of what does no longer serves you because like if you hold on to like Dead plants and stuff like that dead weight then you become that

You know they say like if you're you know when you're like when you make friends you like start picking up like a different slang and like you pick up a phrase that they said you start apparently it's like your brain it's like treating it like you're learning another language. It's really like that. It's a language to you. It's your way to adapt you know because it's like it's like almost a survival skill. Let's say you're in like a territory that like you're

you're not accustomed to. Like, let's say you're just thrown in like Japan. You have to learn Japanese. You have to like learn their culture to adapt and survive in that country. And it's kind of like the same with your friends. Like the way you like enter a friend group, you have to learn how to adapt to like,

be comfortable with them you know what i mean that's why like yeah it's like weird at first when like we first meet but then like once we start getting accustomed to each other's like humor like our our like just whatever like little mannerisms then yeah then it's solid this is how i know i'm super comfortable with someone because i i don't i hate this but silence so if i can sit in a room with you like the mutual between yeah between me and sahar leaves like carlos leaves and i can just be in a room with sahar and we'll just like

Just not say anything, but we're comfortable that means like yeah, no, you're not comfortable. It's like oh my god Like what would we're laying you left I'm like, oh now I'm with Sahar I don't really know her you're though the mutual with her wait. Well now I have to I don't know Yeah, should I say something or should I not you know I mean You know what though? I never think about other people's feelings in that moment. Oh

Carlos is in Carlos' core. Carlos is in Carlos' core. This guy thinks I'm a hispio. No. I'm not gonna lie. Carlos thinks he's the main character in an anime and that's all he revolves around. He's like, I don't care what anyone else thinks. I'm the main one here. No, if you think about it that way, because then you won't really worry type shit. Because I overthink enough. If I started thinking about that shit, that's even more on top of overthinking. You can't worry about other people.

I can't worry. Yeah, I have to worry about myself already. There's no way I'm worrying about anybody. That's a good trait though. That's a good trait. Sometimes. Yeah, it's good. It's a good thing to have like even your inner monologue. Like I found out that like I think it was 30% or 70% don't have an inner monologue. Do you guys think in sentences? Yeah, all the time. Me too, yeah. Like I got a man's in my head.

Yeah, exactly. Is it a different voice or is it your voice? It's my voice, I think. It's my voice. I think it's weird if it's someone else's voice. It's not your voice? No, I'm playing. No, and there's some people that can't... That's crazy. That's fucked. Like, they can't imagine, like, an apple in their head. Like, they can't put the picture together. Like, if I told you to think of an apple, like, what kind of picture can you make? Can you make, like, a real apple? We talked about this in our first podcast. In our first podcast. But I can. I can think of a perfect apple in my head. That's crazy. You should be though. I feel like that's normal. No, some people can't though. It's like normal to not be able to do that. Some people don't have a dialogue. Some people can't make images in their head. It's just thoughts. Yeah. It's hard to explain because we don't go through it. Yeah.

It just happens. I'm curious what would happen if we have a Neuralink and shit and then we can show each other's thoughts. How do you put a thought... I would be trying mad hard not to think about certain things. I'm like, don't think of this stuff. Because I remember reading this comic book and it was like an X-Men comic book and it was with Spider-Man in it. And he was meeting up with the...

the girl that can read minds and shit. He's like, don't think about me naked. And then Peter Parker's like, oh shit. I'm like, oh fuck. Oh shit. Yeah, it's already automatic. Yeah, because you said that. Now they're always thinking about it. But it's something like, imagine you can show it to other people. Would it show as a video? What would it show as? You know what I mean? Because how do you show your thoughts?

How does it play to you? Does it play to you as like a... I feel like wouldn't it play like if you were thinking about your own memory, like it would just...

So would play you in that person yeah The way I thought it would be would be like connected to a TV or something Yeah, like it was just like a screen like everything you saw in it, but that doesn't make sense either cuz I feel like But if you like our thoughts are kind of overlays or no, yeah, I think like that Yeah, no, there's like layers It's like when you try not it's like when you try not to think about something so you layer more thoughts on top But you're still thinking about

It's still there. Even if it's in the back of your head, it's still playing in the back. It's in the deep bottom part. You can feel the aura of that thought still there. That's why when someone says, oh, don't think of me naked, you can think about a thousand things, but you're still thinking about it. Because you said that, now you're stuck on it. It's like when you're playing the YouTube video with the subway surfers on top with a GTA video on the side. That's so funny. I swear that's like ADHD, no? That is. That's ADHD. Wait, do you have some ADHD?

I feel like we all have it. I do. I do. I'm not diagnosed, but I feel like I have it. I'm not diagnosed, but I'm 100% positive. And I was contemplating getting diagnosed, but I heard that Adderall kills your sense of humor and I was not ready for that. Wait, do you take Adderall? No, you're not. You do? Okay. Some people, I've heard people say that it numbs your humor. Like you get a more numb. I'd say like when you use it, you're kind of like zombie mode. It depends on like what you take. Yeah, apparently it makes you. Yeah, sorry. Sorry, because it's just like

I feel like ADHD is just like a symphony of ideas that you haven't put together yet. You know, it's just a bunch of instruments playing, but you're like the maestro trying to put into like make a song, but you can't really. It's just a bunch of stuff like playing all together. Word, that's what it's like, huh? My friend sent me this video and it was like a real life, like what it's like to have ADHD. Oh yeah, like all the talking. And then I was like watching that and I was like, you don't think like that?

That's not. When I was watching, I was like, yeah. So it's constant voice? Not voices, but just constant different thoughts. It's just thoughts. Yeah. It's like what we say about the layers. It's like random. It's like, oh, I drank water. Should I drink water? I'm kind of thirsty. Oh, is there a dishwasher running? But then there's like a song playing in the background. Okay, I don't have ADHD. I don't have ADHD. No, ADHD is very like...

There's a lot. No, it's so much. Like I can't like finish. I have such a hard time doing like one task because I'll be like, oh wait, let me do this quickly. And then I'm like, oh wait, let me do this now. And I was like, wait, the first thing. And then I go back to that. It's very crippling. I will say. Like it's technically labeled as a disability. Really? Yeah. That's why you can get benefits for it. Oh shit. Yeah. But like, yeah, it's very crippling sometimes. Like if it's bad, like it really hinders like your lifestyle.

you know what I mean because if you can't if like let's say like it's just so overload imagine just having like 10 YouTube videos like playing at the same time you get like overstimulated and then that's when like people like kind of like

like crash down and like burn out because and then they can't do anything about it no they just like stay in metal whenever i get too overwhelmed there's too much but i immediately shut down like i just can't do anything like i'm literally like i can't do any of this like do you have something to like um like do you like count to 10 or something because i know man's that count to 10 i i literally just have to like step away from everything for a second like i can't do like it literally gets so like

overstimulated yeah and it's like a thing because I have a problem with like being late all the time and that's like an ADHD thing is like you have a bad perception of time yeah and you think that you can get things done faster than you actually can and then so yeah it's like you don't realize like all these hindrances that you're putting does time move slow or fast for you I feel like time moves pretty fast it moves so fast I always think I can do this in 15 minutes hell no I can't what about when you're working out

Not when I'm on the treadmill. It goes slow. Yeah, yeah. Actually, yeah. Now that you say it, I feel like when you work out, it really like slows down a bit. It slows down. Or it's like even if you look at the clock, it's slow. But it's like if you're not thinking about the clock, that's just kind of fast. Or when you're holding a plank and you're like, okay, how is it not been a minute yet? Yeah, actually. So when you're thinking about time, it's slow. But when you're not thinking about time, it's fast. Because you're like visualizing and you're hoping for it to pass. Because I think our perception of time is actually like

Faster than we think but when we like focus on it too hard, then we're like we say stop We stay so like stagnant and slow It's like when you always like it's like that's like kind of like what anxiety is like when you're thinking about stuff that hasn't happened yet and like it feels like Life isn't like moving on. You know what I mean? Could you keep thinking about time and for it to pass like quicker and faster? I feel like if there's no time I probably wouldn't sleep for two days

Not gonna lie. Like, I think I would just stay up. Oh, like if time froze or something? No, if there was no, if there's no, like, concept of time. There's, like, no measurement? There's no measurement. Like, you would see the sun just go up and down and shit. I feel like I just wouldn't sleep. Well, have you seen those videos of, like, trapped in, like, a white room for, like, however long? And it's just, like, a completely white room and it's just always, like, that 24-7. That's jail, fam. Yeah, like, the insane asylum. Like, people do those challenges, like...

Can you see your perception of time through that? What would happen if you trapped yourself in there? For how many days could you last? I feel like it would feel like months. It's just always daytime. Tell us when you think it's been one day. Yeah, exactly. How would you get it? It's like that one Vsauce video. They did it, and then he didn't know. He thought it was three weeks, but it's only been fucking...

One day. Oh shit. And they sleep less because it's always bright in the room. And so they think they've slept for like three hours, but really they took a 10 minute nap. No, I think if I had no idea what time it was and no way to find it, I think I would think like it's been like a year and it's only been like one day. Yo, so would you take that jail pill? You heard about the jail pill? Nah. Where you can live your sentence instead of doing it physically, mentally.

So they'll put you in a scenario that will feel like three months, but it will just be like mentally. That's some Black Mirror stuff. Is that a real thing? I think they're working on it. Kind of, yeah. That is pretty much, right? That's what? A coma? Like a coma. So you still have the time. So you'll still have, you know, you'll still have three years. Just live it out within like an hour or something. But it's going to feel like three months for you.

That's crazy. Wouldn't that be pretty much the same though to you? It would kind of be the same, honestly. But wouldn't you be so happy when you're back though and be like, wow. Yeah, I didn't wish all that time, right? Honestly. I feel like if you can forget about it and it doesn't linger too hard, then yeah. But if it makes it linger where it feels like real time that passed, then...

I feel like it wouldn't really matter. You know what I mean? Well, it's good to feel real, but realistically, you have to think about it. You're either going to, like, regardless you're doing the sentence, it's either you actually wasted those three years or you wasted them mentally and you're fine and you're back to normal. You know? If regardless you're living the sentence, you might as well pop back to your youth after. Yeah.

You guys have any true crime stories for us? I do. Do you guys have stuff where you've seen a ghost or anything? No? Yeah. Or where you think you saw a ghost? Okay, this is my one story that forever I never understood what happened with this, okay? Yeah, yeah. So at my old apartment when I was living there in college, we had, you'd walk in and it was like glass. You could see like the lobby, whatever. And there was three elevators, okay? And above all the elevators, there was the floor that the elevator was on. So you could always see where it was. This is like a dorm. No, no. It was just like an apartment.

like just some random apartment but so I remember me and my roommate at the time we were walking in and there was this woman there I didn't see her face she had a dog with her the dog wasn't barking nothing but she had a dog I remember what she was wearing she was wearing like a red coat she was standing she was like older woman not too old but like older and like so I walk in and like

As we're walking in the door, she walks into the elevator. And you know it's like if you see someone behind you and they're about to walk in, hold the elevator for them kind of thing. So she didn't hold it. She let it close right as we walked in. And then I go and hit the button. So she walked in. The door closes. And then I go and hit the button. And then the elevator didn't move, nothing. So I was just kind of thinking to myself, this is going to be awkward. We know that she knows that she let the elevator close on us. We walk in. No one's in there. No one is in the elevator. No.

And then the elevator didn't move. It didn't move. It's still on the same floor. It was on the exact same floor. It was literally the door closed. One second later, I hit the button. It opened up. She wasn't in there. Oh, shit. And then the next couple of days, every time my roommate went in the elevator, the buttons would start lighting up.

And she was like I don't know She was like snapped Like sending me videos Of being like What's going on What's going on Like it was literally The next time she went In the elevator The buttons like Were all misplaced Lighting up and stuff And I was like That was the one time Where I was like What was that Cause what did she Like and there's Cameras in there too So I'm like What did the cameras see Like Yeah did you see For the footage No we didn't Because we didn't

We didn't want to know. Yeah, what was that? Because she walked in the clothes. I hit the button. It opens up. She's gone. It's an older woman, you said. Yeah. Was it instant, though? Or gave it time? Instant. Instant. Instant. Maybe she just went up and down. No, no, no. So you remembered what she was wearing, right? Yes. Did she wear something from this generation, like this era? Or was it some older type of clothing? It was just like a red coat. She was just wearing a big red coat. A red coat is weird, though. I feel like that's so prominent. No one wears...

- It's like a red coat, you know what I mean? - It's like saying red coat and then the white dress or top hat, it's such prominent items. - The back of her, I remember, she had a short hair, brunette short hair. - Like a bob cut type of thing? - Kind of like a, you know how older women kind of shave their heads a little bit? It was that kind of vibe. And just a red coat. A red coat and she had a little brown chihuahua situation. But the dog didn't make-- - She's a dog. - The dog didn't make any noise. It didn't bark, it didn't do anything. - Oh, that's weird!

It just went into the elevator. The door closes. Like literally she walked in. The door closed. I hit the button. The same one opens up. No one's in there. Nothing was in there. And I'm like. That's fucked. Me and my roommate walked in and we both were like, what just happened? Because we were both like, like we were silent the rest of the elevator ride. We were like, no, it wasn't even that old. I think it was older, but not like ancient old. So I was like, what the fuck?

Wait, so when you were in the elevator and you were looking at the buttons and it automatically? Like, when we first went in, it was fine. It was the next time that we went in the elevator. The next time the buttons started going off. In front of me? Yo, I'm leaving, fam. No, I'm moving out. We were silent the rest of the elevator ride. We were like... The fact that you even stayed in the elevator is kind of crazy. Yeah, the fact that you stayed in... We had no... We, like, got in, like, before we could even... We were, like, in shock. We were like... What just happened? We were a little bit, like...

We both saw her go in here, right? Like, it wasn't just like, I was like, am I tripping? Like, no, we were like, we were just trying to be like, did we see her come in here? Like, what happened? Like, literally, it was like, she walked, my roommate walked in the elevator first, and then, like, I went in after, and as soon as I walked in, she was just like, what the fuck? I think the fact that she had a witness, too. Yeah, yeah. If it was me, I would have thought I'm... Yo, what does a red coat mean, though? I know. Like, what does a...

Probably like live there at one point maybe maybe Yeah, she's to walk her dog because it was a family it was a family building a lot of older people But I was just like so confused I was like cuz if I if my friend wasn't there I definitely would have gaslit myself and just be like nope you just Whatever but like we tried to play out every scenario. We're like could she have gone to the second

floor and come back like nothing it was just silent she didn't even look at us it was like she was standing at the like she's

We walk in. I just see her back. She doesn't even move. She just walks straight into the elevator with her dog. And then the door closes. I hit the button. She didn't acknowledge you guys at all. At all. This is so dumb. What are they giggling about over here? This is just so dumb. But it was just a random thought. What if in that instant, the door closed. She's like, I want to fuck with her. And she climbed up onto the ceiling. She's like this. And she's just hiding from you. What about the dog? What about the dog? What did you do? The Ninja Turtle shirt? What?

Like this. And then all she sees is Sar, like panicking. Like, what was that? And she's like, heh, heh, heh. Yo.

And then she goes to the technician that same day like, "Yo, can you fuck up the buttons for me?" That would be an A1 prank. No, it would. That would be a joke. If I was living there, I would want a guy like a cameraman, "Yo, it's just a prank." So I can just gaslight myself, "Yeah, that was just a prank." Oh, that's a good question. So let's say you knew somebody that was so fucking traumatized by something.

Way to help them would to play it off as a W crazy So so what they experienced was real but to make you not believe it was real we just made another prank

That's a crazy movie, yeah. But realistically, the action did happen. We're just trying to help you because you turned crazy. That's an act of love. That's an act of love to do for someone. I thought you were going with it was like, oh, if he gets scared by the ghost, like you scare him again. No, no, no, no. He's already traumatized. You keep the ghost traumatized.

You re-traumatized me. It's like that episode of iCarly where Sam or Freddie sees the chain email. And Sam just keeps fucking with him. It's just her the whole time. But then the first time she just got lucky. Look at him, savior. Trying to make it a good thing and you're trying to be the villain here.

He said let's traumatize him more. I think if I had a homie like that and they're really, really afraid of something, maybe I would try it. What? Like to prank them into helping them. Yeah. But you know it's like they say sometimes you lie out of love. Like you tell them something that they need to hear rather than what the truth is. Like that's like that too. Have you ever did something like very, very serious about that? Like you save somebody by a lie? Oh, shit.

Something not I don't think I ever did not like too extreme But something like if my friends are really overthinking something like, you know what I mean like relationships like I'll tell them like a hundred percent It's gonna be fine like 1,000 percent. I'm confident you're even if I know that they might not be okay I just say it's not just for that second They can like be like if she's so sure that like this is gonna be fine It's gonna be fine, even though that I'm probably not thinking. Yeah, you know what? It's like when your mom told you like

told you, like, didn't tell you about the basement purposely. Like, she lied to you about it to save you. You know what I mean? Yeah, that's a good example. I feel like it's hard because, like, it's hard for the person lying to, like, hold it for the rest of their lives. Yeah. You know what I mean? To not let you know. I feel like that would, like, eat you alive. Mm-hmm. Oh.

Depending on what it is. No, it's harder on the person who has to keep the secret 1,000%. It's like people would like... It is harder. I think it is harder. Even with my basement thing, my mom was always like, I'd always get so stressed out whenever you guys would go down there. Like, she was like, I never... Like, she was like, I'd always get so nervous whenever... Because you guys loved staying in the basement so much. But like, she's like, but I couldn't tell you that it was like... What did she see? She just said that she could feel the energy in there. Like, she just said... So she didn't see anything. She had something happen too. She like slept there once, slept in the basement once, and then got like really sick. And like...

threw up in the night and stuff like yeah so it was like it was something like that my dad always had really bad dreams sleep paralysis in there my brother and I always had really bad dreams in there I had the spider thing happen like it kind of reminds me of like that scenario in like The Last of Us spoilers where like there's this community where they're starving and then they think that they're eating like deer and stuff but they're actually eating human oh

Oh, that's fun. Or have you guys seen that one episode of Black Mirror where it's like this war thing and like these people, they have these like glasses on or something. It's like the soldiers and stuff. And then they're going around like shooting all these like alien goblin things, whatever. But then something happens and they're like goblins get taken away and it's like they were just killing civilians. Oh, that's crazy. And it's kind of like the same idea of like people getting brainwashed into thinking like this group of people is like, it's just innocent people that you

That's what scares me about Neuralink. Because what if they just hack into your brain and show you a totally different perception of what you think it is. They change your reality. You think you could be killing some evil guy just because there's a war, but really you're just killing innocent people. You know what I mean? That's fucked. Every day you think you're hanging out with your girlfriend, took the Neuralink off, bam, it's Carlos the whole time. Yo, that's fucked.

Yo, man. Imagine like Carlos is recording the whole podcast, Jumpers Jump. Turns on their link off. Gavin never existed. No. You're just talking to yourself. Oh, that would be scary. That's why people are tuning in because like they think it's

Something I always think about is I'm like if you were insane you wouldn't know like if you were crazy Yeah, like you would never yourself know and like you because of the way you perceive things You might think that you're normal and everyone interacts with you like you're normal But like in reality, you're not seeing that you're crazy Sometimes too like what if I'm in like a Truman Show type scenario? Yeah, like everyone around me is just an actor. Yeah I think about that role just pretending. Yeah

I always think about the simulation shit where it's like, yo, this could just be playing. And then after, I'm somebody else. I'm just watching the Carlos movie. That's so fun. Like, are you actually, are you just watching someone else's film? Yeah, I'm watching Carlos, like, the game. Or what if this is the dream? The Carlos, the game. Yeah, this is the dream. And the sleeping Carlos, this is what he wants.

You're the dream. He's about to overthink it. You're the dream. No, there's this concept that really fucked me up. It was like, okay, this is a great example. So let's say you want to accept something. Let's say there's a temptation. And let's say the temptation is you getting Neuralink and you becoming into a simulation, right? That possibility of it, but you accepting it or saying that it could be a possibility and you saying, okay, yeah, maybe I might do it.

gives it the gives the reality a check mark on that okay it could happen and since the world is you know everlasting or ever i guess so many different um what do you call it like pathways infinite path like infinite pathways yeah it makes that one real and that it will happen if that made sense i know something i just saw sorry i just remember i saw it last night it

It was this thing and it was like, what if the reason why you want it so badly is because future you has it? Yeah. And when I saw that, I was like, that's crazy. That is crazy. Like, maybe that's why we like, want something so bad. I think about that so much because there's so many times and I think that's what manifestation is, dude. I was just going to say.

say that it's almost you feel it you feel it already because you accepted it creating the reality that you would have it no and you always notice too like um the people who are really really negative they like create the reality like their situation is so bad because they're so i know they make it worse yeah and then i see people who are like really positive and like good things keep happening to them because they're so positive and like even i don't know if you guys have had times where like maybe you're feeling really negative and then you try like force yourself to have like a different mindset and like

speak positive and then everything starts getting better like the more you just like speak the good stuff it's like crazy I do that when I'm sick so when I'm sick I tell myself I'm not sick and then I start getting better like right away really? yeah damn I feel those sometimes I feel those I feel like it happens to me more so in like a dire need

like when I'm asked, like I really need something or ask for something, then I think maybe like subconsciously, I just start paving the way to get to that point. But I don't know if it's me programming myself to pave the way to be at that point or I'm shifted to a reality where that point exists and now I'm on that pathway. Do you have deja vu? All the time, yeah.

Yeah. Because I believe that deja vu are checkpoints. So like, remember we were at the casino? And then we put all our money on black, right? And I already had deja vu that we were supposed to be there. And whenever I have deja vu, I was like, oh, it's good. We're supposed to be here. That's actually sick. I've never thought of it as like a checkpoint.

Yeah, so it's like I know that I already told Carlos 100% We're winning this boom land on black. You know, have you guys heard that? It's like deja vu is like your parallel universe is like yeah Moment you guys did the exact same thing different things after that

after that like oh that's actually crazy like it just clicks they say like it's the checkpoint you died so you died but you respawned at that and then you know what's actually crazy the one time that i vividly had it and that's crazy if it matches up with what you're saying why so it was at my it was at my old apartment yeah and i was with my brother and we'd went to this convenience store and then we were walking down this like dark alley thing and then as we're walking down i was like

And we were like talking about a certain, like I was talking about like work. He was talking about work. And as soon as we both said it, I literally was like, haven't we done this before? I was like, we walked this alley and like had this exact conversation. And he's like, sorry, this is my first time at your apartment. I don't know what you're talking about. And then I was like, what the hell? But like a creepy alley. What if I died there and like respawn there? That's what I'm saying. Yeah. A creepy dark alley. On some Mario shit. Like you just whoop.

That would make a lot of sense if it was like a respawn point because that's such a important moment. You know what I mean? Like why would you think about it again? Yeah, and it'd be the shit that's not even important, you know? Like you're just doing random stuff. Like your homie's talking about some bullshit and then you're like eating something. And you're like, wait, we've done this already. We've done exactly this. Or I felt this feeling before, you know what I mean? But it always feels as if you're in a dream.

That's what it feels like. I know what you mean. It just shakes. I don't know how to describe it. When it happened to me, it shook me a bit. I was like, what the fuck? We literally did this. That's why I feel like deja vu and dreams have some sort of connection to them. You know what I mean? Have you ever thought that? Deja vu and dreams? It's so similar to where it's subconscious and it feels very not real. I think you probably dreamt of something. Yeah, you probably dreamt of something and it actually happened.

That's probably, that might be what it is. The scientific reasoning for sure. Yeah. Can we talk about that in between stage of like when you're awake and then you're like falling asleep and you're like in paralysis? Like no, when you're, I guess when you're, no, no, when you're like on the way to dreamland projection, you're talking about. Yes. Cause the way I was talking about this with my friend the other day, like, you know, when you're like,

slowly falling asleep and then you think like oh my arms in this position but then for like a second you click into your normal reality like wait no it's not or like you think i'm texting this person i'm gonna text this person this and then you think you're doing it and then you realize you're like no i'm not i'm literally just i get that do you get what i'm talking about yeah i get that all the time it's like when you're awake but your body's not yet like you're falling asleep but then you have like milliseconds where you go back into your normal body for a second you're like oh wait no no i'm not doing that but then you

keep going it's like you're in this floaty airy yo i have that and it's always me trying to wake up and i would wake up and do something but that's not what i actually did yeah you're and then you realize you're like no my body's like in the you feel your body like how it is and you're like oh i didn't i wasn't doing that i didn't actually move but i used to happen i dreamt i moved during school all the time like i would wake up for school because i used to be so anxious to wake up for school because i would always be late yeah so then i would wake up for school get ready for school check my phone as soon as i check my phone i'd like wake up

And then I'd be like, wait, I didn't even do that yet. Or like, have you guys ever been like, like at a sleepover or like had someone sleeping around you or like you're falling asleep in a group of people like watching a movie or whatever and then you feel like you're dreaming and then you start doing something and then you're like, oh wait, I'm around people like, what if they're seeing me do this? And then you realize like, no, I'm not moving. Does that make sense? Wait, what? One more time? Break it down. So you're in

- You're in that dreamland area where you're going into your dream world. And so you're starting to do things, 'cause you're starting to dream but you're not fully asleep yet. So you're starting to dream, so in your dream you're doing things, but then you're around people and then your real life body is like, wait, you're moving, other people are gonna see you doing things in your sleep, but then you realize you're not actually moving. - So you're falling asleep in front of people. - I'm saying if we're having a sleepover or something, and I'm falling asleep and I'm in that in-between stage, and then I think I'm doing something,

And then my real body's like, oh my God, that's weird. Everyone's going to see you doing that weird thing. But then you realize you're not actually moving. Like you think you're like moving. You know what? I don't fall asleep in front of people. I don't fall asleep in front of people. You guys don't have sleepovers? Like before, but. Even when I fall asleep with like the boys at a sleepover, I'm usually up because I just can't. You're never thinking like, oh my God, I'm doing this. I think my body just rejects like sleeping, like being vulnerable in front of people like that. It's like it has a safety thing. You know what? I think that's fine.

That's a lot of thinking though. It's like a survival thing, right? That's a lot of thinking like, oh shit, my body's doing this, but I don't know if I'm doing it. That's a lot of thinking. For me, I don't know what it is. Every time I'm falling asleep, I keep jumping in between like my real body and like my falling away into the dreamland body. Maybe you're on the way to astral projection, but you're not completely there yet. Like, I don't know how to describe it. I feel like I'm like floating out of my body a little bit. Have you astral projected? No, what does that mean? Oh,

I've never done astral projection. Astral projection is pretty much taking your spirit out of your body and entering this other dimension, which they call the astral realm. Oh my gosh. And that's what they say is kind of the dream realm, right? Now, my homie Zandy was pretty much explained to me

that him and his boy, what they would do is say, if we ever fall into the astral projection by accident, we have to meet up in the same place. Because apparently, if you guys go, even if you guys dreamt at different times, the astral realm doesn't work on our time. Oh.

It doesn't work. So you guys would still pull up all there. Yeah, you would still be there if you planned to do it. So if I said, yo, meet me at Jack Astor's, I'm going to be there in the Astro Realm. But I slept like last week and you slept like another week. You could still see each other there. Did it work when you guys did it? I never did it. But my homie was talking about it. I don't...

Yeah. No, go ahead. I don't think I've astral projected probably, but I've been in that in between because I feel so weird when I'm like falling asleep because I keep going in between being like, I think I'm doing this. But then for a second, I remember what I'm actually doing. Like my real body. You kind of shock yourself back into reality. I think, yeah, it freaks me out sometimes because I think I'm doing things. I get scared to accidentally astral project because ever since, like I remember people telling me like before, like if you do it, you can't like wander off too far. You don't let your spirit wander off too far. It's like a powerhouse.

back because somebody else can take your body yeah yeah yeah it's dangerous that's like the whole premise of Insidious is like he astral projected out of his body and a dark spirit was let in oh my gosh it's crazy I see some video when some person astral projected and then she grew another mole and that's how she knew

Someone else is in there? That's like reality jumping. Yeah. Damn. It's pretty scary. That's why I try not to do it. Ever since I heard that, I don't really try to even explore that realm. People say Tom Holland did it.

Yeah. That's why he had all... Wait, why? So... Because he manifested in his entire freaking life? So he manifested him becoming Spider-Man. He manifested him dating Zendaya. And he manifested him working with Jake Gyllenhaal. Jake Gyllenhaal. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So people said that, okay, what he did, he probably just like went into the astral realm and tried to go into the

the body of him in the reality where that's scary bro I believe it because his predictions were so specific and he did everything you know what's interesting though what if somewhere in the astral realm is the other Gavin the other Sahara the other Emson that you took the better body in the better reality and then they want to fight you for it

And then what if you get trapped in the other reality? Oh, that's like us. Yeah, pretty much. Yeah, it's like us. What if we resist going back because the one that's in us right now is like, I'm not trying to let the other one get the chance. We were originally the one that was gone. Oh, that's cool.

I hate that movie. I hate that movie because it's not a scary scary movie. We're the bad guys, you guys. We're the bad ones. That's why you're being like, I don't want to do it anymore because your other one is waiting there. Oh my god.

That's crazy. I was in prime, bro. Yeah, that one's scary, bro. No, because, you know, especially like we all change so much. We go through certain traumas and everything changes. Like what if that's when the new ones come in? The new version. Like what if we stuttered because like we're still getting used to English? Yo, because some...

My theory before was um, like I said the the game theory where I

It's the Carlos game. Different people can pick up the controller, but Carlos in the game is still Carlos, right? If you play GTA and then you play as like Lester, Lester is still Lester. He knows he's Lester. So if we're being controlled from something else, we still think we're just, we think we're still, it's the same program. It's the same. Exactly. That's crazy. It's a different player.

Yeah, and maybe that's why sometimes you do things where you're like, why did I do that? Like what would make me do that? You know, someone else is controlling you. You feel different, different days. Your hair doesn't feel right certain days. That's crazy. You feel like your clothes don't fit the same way. Okay, bro, you're just getting bigger. Yeah, you're just getting bigger. I'm just a clone now. The clone Tyrone. Do you ever wake up and feel like a different person?

Yeah. I did that one, two times. I'm not going to lie. Really? No, I don't think I have. A different person? Not different person, but like I feel as if I want to do shit different. Yeah.

Or, like, you know when you wake up and it's, like, if you were struggling with something, you wake up and that, like, pain is a little bit, like, it's, like, gone. And you're, like, this feels weird. That, too. The weight is taking off a little bit. You finally, like, come to terms with it. And now you wake up, like, I'm ready to, like, change. Yeah, I think that's what it is, though. I think it's you fought that shit in your dream. And then when you woke up, like, fuck it. I'm on to the new. I've had that, but, like, I fought it awake.

Like I fought it hard. Like my first like ego death type thing. Oh yeah. I remember one time like, yeah, I just had like this very like heart to heart with like one of my friends for like five hours straight. Just like letting my life out, like telling all the lies that I would tell myself, like really like admitting to them and like seeing past them. And then I remember like after that, I've never felt like so like weightless in my,

in my ever life that's when like it clicked like it felt like my brain just like completely switched gears like actually like switched for the first time that was like the first time it felt like black and white you know isn't it crazy that someone could say like one phrase that completely like rewires how you're like thinking about a situation like oh no I meant more like it helped you get over something

Like how certain song lyrics will help. That will like linger. Or like one person will just say like one motivational thing and that's enough for you to be like, damn. They might not think like that changed your life, but in reality it did. Like the smallest thing. No.

It's like when that one time like Gavin told me that like I told him that like keep being Gavin. You don't remember you said that. Yeah. He's gassing himself. You changed your life. I put him on. Yeah. But yeah, that's when he told me that I was like, what?

I don't even... I barely remember telling him that. Because you don't know. I love those moments though. The ones where it's like, I don't even remember it like that. But it's so special to somebody else. I think that's the beauty of life is because there's special shit that happens that we don't really... I don't guess like...

pay attention to. Yeah. But it's very, very meaningful. I remember I was so gassed, right? So we were all in LA and I had the aux and I was playing music in the crib and I still wasn't comfortable with like Dane and Sahar yet. And then someone, and then Dane said, yo, who's on aux? Great music taste, fam. Oh, that's a bad feeling. Oh,

I was gassed. My confidence went up. I was like, oh, I'm the king of the show. Donny's really picky with music too. I remember she really liked your aux. She was like, Gavin plays good music. And that moment, I don't know why, but I remember it. It rewired. It rewired. I've had a moment like that and that actually changed my life. Really? Yeah, because I used to do track and we went on a track meet and I had aux on the Bluetooth and then someone was like, yo, whose playlist is this? I was like, yo, it's mine. And he's like, yo,

You have like really good taste in music. And then because I was like a light like music listener. I didn't like deep into it before. Yeah. But then ever since then, like I started like looking for more so I could put people on. And then I started to deep it. They call that priming, bro. Is that actually? What's priming? Oh, fuck it. Okay. It's part of the 48 laws of power. But pretty much like it's kind of manipulation. I'm not going to lie. But you tell somebody something that you want them to be like. So if I were to go, yo, Sahar, you're always so kind to me.

That I'm gonna keep being kind to you. She's gonna think about being kind to me all the time. Oh, I'm so using that. I'm so using that. It's very manipulative. I'm not gonna lie, but it works. But it's good. It works. Damn. Without that, I wouldn't have dove so deep into music. And a lot of my personality is shaped from music. So I might have not been the person I am today if he didn't say that. Yeah, if you didn't say that. Bro, I...

I had this thing. It's like not even that extreme, but I'll literally never forget. I was it was my first trip to L.A. and it was like this really big influencer. Yeah, not even that big. But like to me, that was because I was on my first time there. I like saw them a couple of times and I saw them at this one party and they like said hi to me and they were like, you always smell so good.

And then after that moment, I do not miss a day of perfume. See, it's priming. I started a whole perfume collection. Now I have a signature scent. Like, I always am like, you will never catch me smiling back. Since that moment, I was like, I'm going to smell good every time people see me. So you kind of create your circle when you do that. Yeah.

It's dangerous because it's like you're playing... Your friends and stuff. It's not the best to do. It's not natural. It's not natural. But that goes back to what she says, like lying to benefit... No, but that's not even lying no more. That's adding to shit, you know? But I feel like there's nothing...

It's not that harmful. It's not that, yeah. It's not that harmful. You're so nice to me. Is it the end of the world if you're nice to me? No. Yeah, it's not. But you could do things that are worse. You know what I mean? It's all intention. You can use it a lot with flirting too. If you want to get someone obsessed with you, be like, oh, why are you always so nervous when I'm in the room? Or something like that.

And then she's gonna think about that. I think I do that subconsciously, low-key. I always say that kind of stuff. Yeah, like, if I drop that on somebody or you drop that on somebody, like, they'll think about that, you know? Even subconsciously. No, literally, I'll be like, if you have a crush on me, just say that. Like, you know what I mean? That kind of stuff. And then they'll feel something in the back of their head. Yeah, you got it, bro. You got me there. In your head, you're like, do I...

Do I? Maybe I do. Going home thinking about that. They think about it and then if you give them proof with it too, that's why those books are fucking dangerous. That's Dark Game. Yeah, no. I'm not going to lie. I read every single thing about Dark Game. Carlos Cor? Carlos Cor.

Carlos Quart. Carlos Quart. It's not good though. You need to make a compilation of Carlos Quart things. Isn't that why that 48 Laws of Power is banned in prisons and stuff? Yeah, it's banned in prisons. It's banned like, I'm pretty sure it's banned in some countries. Because it gives you so much power. Power? I'm reading that shit. I give it to you. That's the one. And the guy, Robert Greene, when you see him, let me pull up a picture. He doesn't seem like the dude, but yo. He's that guy? He's a powerful fam.

Because I was watching him on a podcast. And the thing is, though, when you have that much knowledge about shit, it becomes a thing of like you don't want to use it. You know how whenever you meet a fighter, they're always so kind, right? Because they don't want to beat you up. They already know how the fight goes. Oh, they already know how the fight goes. They know they could beat you. Yeah, they already know how it goes. This is Robert Green. Like, look at him. He doesn't seem like the dude.

What what the hell yeah, I expected like a guy. I thought he was like a wise old man Yeah, he so nobody looks like so calm cuz he knows he looks even I know like but not Stephen Hawking I was gonna say that

Wait what? That's crazy. That is crazy. He's about to do a hell of a dark game on you. This guy's reading my thoughts, fam. The books he had though, he has 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction. He did Strategies of War. He did Mastery, something about like personality and shit. This guy knows everything about the human person. But I feel like knowing all that stuff.

Sorry. Knowing all that stuff, it would almost make life kind of unbearable. That's what I'm saying. Because I remember I wanted to get into psychology for a bit because I wanted to be a therapist for a little. And then my one friend who probably doesn't remember saying this to me was like, think about if you were a movie director, you probably could never just enjoy a movie because you'd be analyzing all these. And he was like, and now imagine that with your everyday conversation. How do you think I live, man?

Like, honestly. Yeah. Like, he was like, imagine if you could tell that someone doesn't like you because of their movements and what they're doing and la-da-da. That's not it. Like, hey, you can't live life like that. And I was like, you're so right. Yo, that's literally, that's literally, like, how I go about life. It's like you have the cheat code, so the game's not even fun no more. Yeah. It's like, if you're a billionaire, do you even enjoy things? No. No, you don't. Because you have such easy access to...

it that you can't even enjoy it the best the best way i can describe like the billionaire thing is um if you play gta with cheat codes yeah it's fun for like an hour or like the sims when you use them yeah it's fun for a bit and they get boring like it hurts you can only buy the amount of cars yeah and some people say like that's kind of like is heaven actually heaven if you can if you have unlimited like yo theory though theory because if heaven

if heaven is actually like our true paradise and our true paradise isn't what we consume or like what we think would be it what if it does include the challenges what if you actually live in your personal heaven right now what if this is your heaven yeah we had this conversation yeah yeah did we actually us three podcasts yeah but it was just us three yeah yeah like what if it's actually like your personal heaven yeah yeah i say heaven's like minecraft there's no fault it's actually kind of sad to think of

No, because even like there were some shows I was watching where basically like getting whatever you want, that would become a hell. You can't like if there's nothing, everything's so easy to you. Like there's no enjoyment from like being able to do whatever you want all the time. There's a point where you're just over it. Yeah. And that's why like billionaires end up doing such dark twisted stuff because they don't get enjoyment out of buying cars. That's why they do that dark thing.

Like squid game type stuff where it's like they get enjoyment out of that cuz that's something no other people can't access They hunt people or something. Yeah, cuz what else can you do? Never want to be a billion like y'all watch like unfriended the movie nah It's basically a bunch of dark web people and they just play games with them Well, actually the second movies about that but like these dark web people they make a game out of these people like they play with their livelihood But it to them is just a game to them. It's like oh

Yeah, because they're bored. Yeah. And they get so numb to certain things that they're like, whatever. Whatever. He died. Whatever. Whatever. That's it. Yay. I won. I had my fun. I knew he was going to die. That's fucked. Yeah. I don't know how like conscious wise, like you can even live with that.

But I think when you get to that because it's something I was thinking about while you guys were talking earlier, too It's like you know how we have our goals and we think like or even right now We're so living like the dream that we wanted but like had we'd like flash to this moment We would be so much more appreciative of it. But because we slowly built to it. We don't even realize like how amazing like what we have Yeah, it's so crazy because back in the day you would feel like amazing five years ago if you were to like

Flash to this moment right now you'd be like no way I have this podcast I'm doing a lot of it But because you slowly built to it you don't even realize like how cool it is So same with like billionaires I feel like they don't even they can't even appreciate what they have because they slowly built to it that it's like So they're so numb to it. They're so numb to their money. They're so numb to life. That's why we got to take time to slow down I know. We have to take time to slow down, count your blessings, realize like what's really around What's really important to you? No, literally. Because when we take time and we only focus on the shit that we think is

is blessings for us, then we forget about the shit that really, really matters. Because the scariest thing is, you know the saying where you don't know what's really meaningful to you until it's gone? That shit hurts. If you think about it, it's sad. So that's why you have to really appreciate what you got and look around. So I've forcibly put myself in quiet spaces to just think.

There's a lot of time when we're on our phone and shit just yeah, it just fills everything up. Yeah. Yeah No, it's like numbs it just gone. It's just given away for sure. Yeah Because the person you are five years ago is probably proud of the who you are today Yeah, but you don't even feel that way about yourself cuz you like, you know, you know what though I think the reason so I think about this sometimes and it goes with the manifestation shit the

The reason I don't celebrate things. Because you knew you were meant to have it. No, not that. It's because that kind of. That kind of. But there's even crazier shit that you're going to be more proud of. That's what I think about. Or what if. If you keep it like. But what if. Sorry. What if you're never going to be happy though because you think like that. That's what I always tell them. That's what I always tell them. But for me, I think maybe there's like a moment like, oh shit, this was the one.

But obviously, like, who knows? Maybe that's just my blessing slash curse where it's like, okay, I'm going to always think like that. Because that'll make you work harder. Yeah, it's going to make you work harder. But at the same time, when will you be satisfied? Exactly. And that's why people say, like, try not to live a life based on goals and live it based on, like, your values, you know? The goal is just extra, like, what pushes you. But at the end of the day, are you a nice person? Are you kind to your mom? Yeah, yeah, facts. You know what I mean? That's so true. All those hustlers, bro, they're like, oh, work, work, work. Grind, grind, grind.

fam yo take some time off bro celebrate bro I get that too but I understand the hustle mentality yeah yeah I do too cause Kobe wouldn't be Kobe if he didn't exactly a quote that stuck with me like since I heard it like I think I saw it again like on Instagram or something but it was like you have to like keep reminding yourself like it's already too late like what? what do you mean? like for example like

if you're not like calling your mom enough, like it's already too late. Like you should be calling her more. Oh, that's negative. That's extreme. No, but it puts, pushes you to like do those things. Cause it's like, I'm already running out of time. Like I already wasted more time. Like, you know what I mean? It's a negative quote, but you could spin it to like change your actions. Like it might make you like start calling your mom more. Cause you're like, I've already lost,

Too much time, you know what I mean? Like that kind of stuff like that really stuck with me or if you're like doing something that's making you unhappy It's already too late. So like hurry up fix it while you still can you know what I mean? So do you you follow the memento mori? Um, what do you call it philosophy? You know that memento mori? What is that? So it's like a latin term. Well, pretty much it means um It it's like a reminder that you'll die like remember Remember death or something like that. Yeah, but it pretty much

Think soldiers and like politicians back in back in like Roman times they would write that on I guess like their shit like shields Seals like you'll die one day. So yeah, so to members and I think there's another ones like this too shall pass I don't like that one. I don't like those. I thought this too shall pass just means like hardship that will that will pass No, no, but it means even good will pass. I

Oh, I don't like that. Yeah, exactly, exactly. I don't like that. That's why I don't follow that. I just follow as, what's your own philosophy? That's a great question. What's y'all's own philosophy? Wait, give me an example so I understand what you're trying to say. The less you know, the better.

Yeah, that's you? Yeah. We run an information type of podcast though. That's great. Like the dark game stuff, like I don't know. It's like I just live. Okay, no, I kind of agree with that too where I'm like, I'm okay with not knowing certain things. You know what I mean? Like even sometimes people try to show me like gory, like gruesome things. I'm like, I'm okay to not

see that. I'm okay living in this little bubble of happiness and glitter and sunshine and not knowing. What would your line be then? Instead of momentum, where are you? So yours would be the less, you know? I've got a bunch of quotes that I actually buy on my notes. Or another one that I really like is...

Don't be nice to everyone be kind and fair instead of nice. You know, I mean I don't know - I'm a bunch. I like that. I like the Gandhi one that be the change you want to see in the world about yours though like you're what's yours what's in your own word look like a Like put it down like say you had a stone and it was your thing was there. That's hard Yeah, you know because it's just like I know I

I feel like I've taken life in so many ways. I feel like a lot of shit's happened to me that like, I don't know. Like it's hard because it's like, I always, I always tell myself that I'm going to die one day, but I don't want to keep thinking like I'm going to die one day. I hate thinking about that. Because it's just like, it puts so much pressure onto you. You know what I mean? Yeah. And I feel like right now is the most important time to be at.

Because if you're living in the future and if you're living in the past, you're never truly where you are now. I feel like that's why we forget to appreciate what we have now. Because we're always living somewhere else. You know what I mean? So to shorten it up, yours would be live in the moment. Live in the moment. That's a good one too. That's a solid one. Try to break it down. I think mine would be lead with love.

Oh, yeah. So lead as in like follow your path but with love or also to lead as in when you teach people, you lead through love. So if I'm teaching you shit, I would teach it through love. That makes sense for you because you used to be an instructor.

Yeah. Oh, Carlos Cor. If you're going to be a leader, like lead them with love or lead yourself with love. For me, I don't know if there's like a word, but the one thing I've been saying is like, whatever's like written for you, it's going to happen exactly how it's supposed to happen in that exact moment. And like, there's nothing you can do to like. It is written. You said I'm going to be. What the?

She's the one. Oh, OK. I watch it. Do you have no idea what was happening? I didn't watch the first one. It's a hard. It's a hard.

I just... Sahar, Dahi, Atreides. Yo, that actually kind of fits, though, don't it? That works. It kind of works, actually. Okay, I have two thoughts. One, okay, yeah, so I just... Oh, shoot. Okay, remind me that it's about names, okay? Remind me to say that. But yeah, no, I just really believe recently, especially I feel like life has shown me, like, you can't... Like, don't stress over the things that are happening because everything's happening exactly how it was meant to happen in that exact moment. Like, it's everything's playing out

the exact way it's supposed to and there's literally nothing you can do to change it so like it is what it is it is what it is that's what it is there's something i saw it was like a quote and it was like the caterpillar for example will like resist

Turning into the cocoon it tries to fight it Oh, but if you just let yourself roll with it You're gonna have a better a better outcome will come if you just let yourself roll with what's happening rather than Trying to resist it so much. Okay, and then about names Do you guys believe that thing that like some people are born with like names that are meant to be famous? Like you don't like how you're just like so hard. Oh, he blah blah blah It's like when you say like Kanye West like it sounds so I can't you know, Kanye means I

It means the only one. Oh, no, no. Yeah, that is. That's why. That's why he has like the song. Only one. Even like, like Ariana Grande. That's like such a pop star name. No, but a lot of them have different names. I know, but like the ones that have their real names. But do you think, like, I think what she's trying to say, are you born into the greatness because of your name? Or is like, or does the name become iconic because of what you've done? No,

Not just names, but people like birthdays too. Because I recently found out me and Nick from Suburbs Talk have the same birthday. Oh, really? Yeah, we both became a thing. Mmm.

That is kind of crazy. I don't know if you watch 949 podcast, but then another Asian. Oh, yeah. I know that guy has November 11th. You guys are the same birthday? All three of you. If you're born on November 11th, start a podcast. That's crazy. But yeah, I don't know. And 2000. Is it 2000? Yeah, we're all the same. 949 guy too? Yeah. Or is he younger? No, he's our age, I think. 2000? Word. No, because if you think about all of us have like...

A solid name. Like that was meant to, like none of us have like a weird name situation. Sahar's unique though. Sahar Dahi, crisp. It's crisp, you know? Carlos Huico. Carlos Rafael. Yeah. Gavin Ruta. You have a middle name? Yeah, that shit does not even sound good. You have a middle name? No, I think it's crisp. Yeah, Cole, Cole, Cole. Gavin Cole. Emerson Madejari. See, that's beautiful. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wait, what? Your name's not Gavin Ruta? No, it is. Gavin Cole Ruta. Oh, that sounds so cool. You have a middle name? I don't have a middle name, no. Oh, damn. Really?

That's not a thing. I get what you mean, though. Yeah. It feels like some people are just born to be great because of it. Like Michael. Like Bo Jackson. Michael Jackson. You have to become an athlete. Michael Jackson. That's such a famous name. Michael Jordan. Michael Jackson. All the Michaels. But then if you actually think about it, Michael Jackson sounds like a basic name. It does, though. That's what I'm saying, though. I think it's because of what they've done. Because, bag it, bag it. If I name my son fucking Achilles, you know?

He's gonna sound crazy. He has to become a athlete. Yeah, he's gonna turn out something crazy. Okay, that's actually something. Achilles. Do you guys think you turn into your name? Like, you become what your name is? Carlos? Like, you think? Yeah, yeah. Oh, yo, yeah, because it's like, I wouldn't see you like a William. You know what I mean? If your name was William, you would have been something. You would have turned into something else. That's a great point, actually. Yeah.

That's a really great point. Like, Emson is so fitting. Like, this is Emson. Yeah, that's a great point. And, like, people in, like, creative fields, they never have, like, a lame name. You know what I mean? It's always, like, and I think people say you grow into your name. So people, like, choose a good name for your kid because they're going to grow into that name. So, like, whatever you name them, they're going to become that. And my kid, Articuno. Like, imagine Articuno. Turns into a bird.

So apparently there's people that name their kids girls names so that they will grow up tough what? They name their kids they name their kids girls names

Girls name so let's say you gotta get it so they get bullied they get bullied but and they turn out tough That's fuck that makes you have to hold your ground you have to hold your ground or you can name them a scary name so that the kids don't mess with them and then they just automatically have this Yo I taught I taught a kid before in my swimming class name oh fuck I can't even say it actually I can say it his name was Thanos Was he tough? Yeah

I don't know. I didn't get to know him too well. It was a long time ago. Wait, that's a sick name. Thanos? That's corny. Now that I think about it. Whoa. Now that I think about it. That's a tough name, actually. Thanos? You know what's corny? If he names his kid Raph.

That's so fucking cool. Rafael's a single. Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Donatello, fam. Yeah, you knew that? Like, I'm gonna name my kids. You told me that. Yeah, I told you that. Oh, yeah, that's cool. What were you now that you're thinking about? That's fire. Oh, I was just thinking, like, the same way it, like, occurs to, like, iconic people, like Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, strong names, right? Those are such good names. But then it also is, like,

like evil people in the world that have existed. You like, now that you think about it, it is like, like those names that are like evil. Like, like, like those sounds like evil. Those are some evil ass names. No, literally. I feel you grow into your name. Like, I don't know any other person in the world. Like,

with the last name like Hitler or some shit you know what I mean or Adolf even as a name like you would think like on TikTok like you would see like people with similar like last names like there's different Michael Jordans in the world you know what I mean but is there the same like evil people

Do you think it's because we have conceptions of people named that already that will turn out similar to them? So like like we'd like stray away from naming people that anymore. Yeah, for example, nobody names a kid Karen anymore. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All the kids that exist now. I know.

Think so. Yeah, it's like calling your kid Crazy that our generation killed the name Karen like I don't anymore That's not did he's real name right that is his name just be Because like, you know a call yeah Sean Combs Wow

Wow. What a famous name. Sean Combs. Sean Combs is fire. That's a fire name. His first name is P. I didn't want to make fun of it because I knew it was a joke. It ain't P. See humor now. You get it. We don't push P here. We don't push P. I thought you were serious when you said that. He kind of had a reaction, but then I was like, no, let me not gas it. I was like, huh?

He just had to get back to all the times the whole podcast when they were going at it. I don't know. Maybe I'm just slow, but sometimes I can't get like the sometimes I don't understand like the accent. No, my humor is very much saying it in a very serious tone to the point that you can't even tell if they're kidding or not. You're way better at it than me. Yeah, I am. I am. Because I've been doing it. What? I don't get that humor though. I don't get that humor.

I don't get that. It's like funny seeing how they're going to react. Exactly. No, that's the only reason why I do it because it's like you can take it two ways. Like, oh, do you think I'm dead ass or like, oh, you know, I'm joking around. No, like it's funny when I said the pee thing. I was like, let's see if they're going to get serious or not. Because I was like, that couldn't be a joke because that shit's not funny. But it's like, let's see who reacts. Do you think you understand your humor or the beauty of your humor is that nobody understands it? So a great example is like,

If you know what's going to make you laugh, you probably won't laugh. Yeah. You know what I mean? But since you don't know what's going to happen, it makes you laugh, right? No, I know my humor though. Are you sure? Yeah. And I understand. When I'm in the room with someone, I understand their humor. So I crack jokes differently.

Yeah, like you kind of adapt to people. It's like group A humor, I won't do with group B. What I'm saying is like if you know the humor too well, you'll predict it. You get me? I know what you mean. Then it won't be funny. Like stuff that you used to like really enjoy, like the humor that you used to laugh at before, nowadays it's the same. It's like honestly, like to me it's like

Before, like, Jokoy used to be, like, the Filipino jokes used to be funny as fuck. But then now it's like you kind of know what to expect. Yeah, you know what's going to happen. You know? That's what I'm trying to get at. And even if there's, like, different jokes now, it still doesn't hit the same anymore. I think it's the beauty of, like, you don't know what you want. Mm-hmm.

And you not knowing it gets you like, oh shit, you get surprised. And then you know when you do it and you're like, I don't know if this is going to hit, but everyone laughs. And you're like, oh my God. I don't think there's anything better than making a group of people laugh. Like, unexpectedly. Or in the group chat, like you put a joke down and everybody likes it or like, hell of emojis. Oh my God, it gets a lot of ha-ha. You send a good meme? You send a good meme. Those ha-has like fuel my soul. I'm like, yeah, yeah, thank you. That's plus one, bro.

To the ego. To the ego. But to me, making a homie laugh is way better feeling than making a random stranger laugh. The best feeling is when the homie starts to take the joke even further. Oh,

No, I feel like that's like my favorite friends is the ones where we can like literally for like 10 minutes Just keep adding on to this joke until one of us is like, what are we doing? Why is this been going on for 20 minutes? I think my favorite humor is the imagine they're like imagine humor imagine that blah blah blah Imagine he's in the elevator like this

Imagine we keep imagining and we take it to somewhere that's fucking No, and you're like we really went from that to this like And then he's like
