COURT RULING GRANTS UOFT INJUNCTION TO EVICT ANTI-ISRAEL ENCAMPMENT
Libby Znaimer is now joined by Eli Mogil, Partner with McCarthy Tétrault LLP who has experience with injunctions but is not involved at all with UofT's legal proceeding against the encampment on their campus, and Rabbi Seth Goren, Chief Executive Officer of Hillel Ontario.
The anti-Israel encampment has been given a court-ordered deadline to leave the UofT grounds by 6 PM this evening. And, Toronto Police issued a statement that says that they will "enforce the court's order...while we won't disclose operational details the court order states that police action is at our discretion". So, what happens next?
