What's up, you sexy motherfuckers? Welcome to another episode of Dumb Blonde. Today we have kind of like a special edition for you guys. My girl Ashley. Hi.

From Painted Lady Tattoo. She's the owner out here in Vegas. We came to her shop today because I wanted her to be able to tell her story but also showcase her talent so that if you guys are ever in Vegas, you guys need to look my girl up, hit her up. You guys always ask me who's done my side tattoos. She actually did one of them. She did the

saint with the praying hands the lady on my side and she's just one fucking amazing artist but what's even cooler about her is that she has a fucking story that is just amazing so we're gonna get into that and we are in the shop right now thank you can come back yeah thank you no worries

So she has an amazing story and I just want you guys to be able to hear it and also see her work while she's tattooing. So what's up, girl? I'm so happy to have you on here. Thank you for having me. Dude, it's been such a long time. I know. So I met Ashley about 12 years ago when one of my exes worked for her and her husband at their tattoo shop. And it's just crazy how the world always comes full circle. And I believe that people cross paths in life in

in life in order to recross them and, you know, bring each other good energy and all that jazz. So what's been going on since the last time that I saw you? So, um, when I saw you, I was with my baby's dad and we totally were just not doing good. We were, you know, uh, back then, uh, being hooked on pain medications was like a big deal. And, um, that took a very hard toll on me. And,

finally when I just left that horrible like bad situation and energy and the people with it I've come so far like from sleeping on people's couches no phone no car yeah I have a son so he was a baby so it was like really hard for me and it feels so lonely when you're not alone because there's so many people that go through addiction absolutely coming you know coming off of it is

even the hardest part. But once you do get past that, I've just every year I come up more and more and more from being around good energy and doing better in life and not being succumbing to addiction. Yeah, exactly. How long were you in addiction for? How many years? Seven, like probably like four years on like pills and heroin. And then it took me four years to go to the clinic and

to basically get stable. Right. You know, you're still addicted to what the doctors give you, but I completed the whole program. Oh, yeah. But while I was on that program, I was able to get a stable life. Right. And,

get where I'm at now. That takes a lot of perseverance, dude. Not just anybody can just get off of heroin and go to not even a rehab, but a rehabilitation program. I don't wish that on anybody, you know? Yeah. Um, it did start with, uh, I got my wisdom teeth pulled and that's what happened to me. I didn't know that, you know, you get your body gets addicted to these pills that these doctors give you. And yeah,

What do you know? It just led to one thing after another. And it just... The first time I ever took a pill, I had my wisdom teeth pulled and they prescribed me Percocets. And I took one. I had Lord's Teeth.

And I was like, oh my God, I am percolated. And I loved it. Yeah, it's such a good feeling. It was when you first start taking them. When you first, yeah. Until you can't get out of bed. Right. And then you chase that high and you're just like, I know. Luckily, my body, I couldn't take Percocets for that long. They made me sick. Throw up. Yeah, but then it turned into Lortabs. And I had to take a Lortab a day just to even get, you know, get by. But I was like a controlled drug addict, I guess you could say. Like, yeah.

It was always we just always wanted like one.

But my ex, Frankie, that used to work for you, he actually was addicted to Laura Tubbs also. And he had to have like 20 a day. Yeah, that's what when I was with my baby's dad, you know, he kind of was a lot deeper into it than I knew about. Right. So, yeah, he was just like Frankie and he knew Frankie as well. Yeah. Yeah. That's how we met was whenever they were working for you. So since then, you've done the program. You have kind of.

kind of made a name for yourself out here in Vegas. I was starting to get recognized. It's really cool. No, it's so awesome because you are genuinely such a talented human, even in your addiction. And back then, like you literally were just so talented. And so to see you be able to rise up from those ashes is just simply amazing. And I think it's really cool. I think another thing that's cool about you is whenever you were doing my tattoo, we were talking and you have an all girl, um,

tattoo shop. So there's three women in here. Me, my girl Bori and my apprentice Mariana. And I'm just going to keep it all female. I want to be I love that female shop, you

you know? Yeah. No, I love that. You're like doing your thug. There's a lot. Yeah. That's awesome. That's how my team is too. It's all females. Dawn just came on cause we love him so much and nobody can beat his work. So, but he's one of the girls. Yeah. He's all man, but he's one of the girls. So, but yeah, no, I loved that. You have, um, an all girl, you know, thing going on over here. So what is it that you're drawing on Mimi right now? So I'm doing, um, a rose, um,

Basically, all my clients come to me for my freehand. They just have ideas and then they let me just freehand whatever that they would like. I do do a lot of roses lately. Realism from freehand. Most of the time, I'll take my own picture of the rose. So that way it's like an organic rose freehand that nobody else has. So yeah, we're doing one of those. It's something that I do almost every other

day. Yeah, for sure. I got a few roses on me too. Did you always draw? Was that your passion? Yeah. So everybody in high school were like, oh, you were the girl getting in trouble for drawing all

drawing all the time so yeah I've always drew um and then right out of high school I started tattooing and I just happened to get in real easy and now that I am you know sober and all that um I'm so passionate about it I don't have anything distracting me yeah you know I just

do my own thing and this is where I love to be just at the shop working it's just like therapeutic for you I love it so much yes no I dig it and you are one talented fucking artist like to be able to just look at something and draw it and then also tattoo it on somebody's skin like you're making people happy every day like you bring joy to people's lives I love that too because some people have like such horrible tattoos that they are just so embarrassed to even walk around with it they cover it and when they come to me and I can cover

for them. It just like really makes such a difference in their everyday life. It's crazy. Yeah, for sure. And I love that part. It's awesome. Let's talk about dating in Vegas. If anybody follows you on social media, you are fucking hilarious. So she has like a couple of dudes or a few dudes that she, you know, has on rotation and she labels them number one, number two, right? Yeah.

And her big thing is like float on. Like, and I love that. It is so funny. You guys have to follow her on Instagram. She is so entertaining, dude. Like if I'm having a bad day, I'll go and watch Ashley's story because it is just so funny. Like she cracks me up. I swear. She's like my spirit animal. So what is it like? Okay. Not dating, but what is it like banging out here in Vegas? I don't bang them all. Okay. It just,

It's just about individualism. I don't want to be locked down to one person. I like to love people. I don't believe in being in a relationship and then you feel stuck. Just be honest. Keep it real. Absolutely. Be around people that make you happy. If it happens to be someone else that you like and love, that's okay for me and for the other people. I just want people to...

not feel trapped in a commitment that they made because they love someone at the moment. I couldn't agree with that more. My husband and I actually have a relationship like that where it's like, you know, we're in love or we're business partners and we're soulmates, but he can bang whoever he wants and I can bang whoever I want. And as long as we're honest with each other about it, you know, honest, that is the only thing.

Communication is key, dude, in any relationship. Yeah, you live once. Like, yes, being in love and all that is cool and, you know, but...

You live once. Yeah, totally. So it's like, I don't want to just love just once. Like I want to like, I love you. I love you. I love all of you. I want to spread this love around. What would you tell somebody who is in addiction right now and thinking that there's no way out? There is a way out. You just have to really want it. You have to have enough and you have to separate yourself from, um,

the people you're around, the circle you're with, because otherwise you're always going to do the same path. Absolutely. So I just remember for so long that I never thought I could get off. Like, cause it was like, it was a painful addiction is hard. Was it painful whenever you were getting off? Do you still crave it to this day? No, no.

I never want to feel like that again. Yeah. So, yeah, it's just something that I do know some people who do get off drugs and they say that it's hard because they still have that, that craving. So I think when I was on it, I thought it was the love of my life. Right. I didn't want to ever stop, but.

um, just knowing that I can get up every single day without any type of help. Yeah. That is the best feeling ever. Yeah. And look at you now. So we're in your, your own shop. Like how fucking cool is that? Like this is your shit and nobody can take it from you. And you're the fucking boss hog. I'm really so proud of you. I love seeing how far you've come. Like this really makes my heart happy for you. I still feel like I have a lot more to do. Um,

yeah you've been traveling a lot right yeah i try to travel as much as possible

Do you do like tattoo traveling whenever you go to cities? Yeah, so this year I started traveling. I did Miami for tattooing. Yeah, you're coming to Nashville, right? Yeah, I could come to Nashville. Dude, if you guys want to book an appointment with Ashley in Nashville, you guys need to hit her up. And then in July, I'll be tattooing in LA County. So I have clients pretty much all over that either fly in and I'm starting to like, actually like I want to travel anyway. So

I'll go to you. Yeah. So it works out. Um, hit me up for sure. Yeah, totally. I'm down to negotiate something. Why don't you tell everybody where they can find you at? Like drop all your socials and stuff like that. My Instagram is ash tattooer. Um, or you can hit up my assistant. It's, um, ash tattooer LV at gmail.com. She does all my booking. She's amazing. She'll get back to you right away. Um,

You're booked out until like. I'm booked till like April right now. Yeah. But she does all my booking and she's amazing. Yeah. So if you guys want to get in with her, you need to get in like legit. She squeezed me in last time as a favor. And then were there any other socials you wanted to shout out? You don't have an OnlyFans yet, do you? I know. I've been thinking about it. You should do a naked tattooing. Oh, my God. I've honestly been thinking about it.

Dude, whenever you're ready, I'll fucking hook you up. I'll let you know how to run it and shit. It'll be awesome. Yeah, totally. We'll start in Nashville. Let's do it. Oh, thank you so much for being on the show. And I'm going to let you get to tattooing right now, but we're going to, we're going to end the interview part, but thank you so much, mama. I'm going to have you come back on and check in and all that jazz and, you know, just have to be a reoccurring guest. Yes. All right. Love you, girl. Thank you guys so much for tuning into another episode of dumb blonde.

And see you guys next week. Shut up and sit down.
