**Ensure compliance of 2.0 Lockdown norms: MHA to States and UTs - **The Union Home Ministry on Wednesday communicated to all States and Union Territories to ensure compliance of the new lockdown measures and direct the authorities concerned for their strict implementation to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. In the written communication from Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla to the Chief Secretaries of all the States and the UT administrations, it was clarified that “these guidelines are communicated to all the field agencies and wide publicity is given for the benefit of the public and that stricter measures should be imposed as per the requirement of the local areas”.
