Microsoft confirms update problems with the latest update for current versions of Windows. Australian scientists want to mass-produce a seaweed that stops cows from burping methane. Microsoft Surface Pro users were throttled after a recent firmware update. A judge ordered Georgia to stop using its current voting machines for 2020 elections over voting security issues. A caller sought a way to keep his mom safe while using the public WiFi in a senior living complex.  Another listener asked for advice on replacement of a six-year-old laptop.  We recommend a computer with a metal case (not plastic) with at least an 8th generation Intel i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM, and a 256 or 128 GB solid state hard drive.  A listener had issues with an unresponsive "script" while using a web browser, another with a laptop running Windows 10 wonders why her computer speed is excessively slow, and a third owned an old iPad mini that has problems connecting to WiFi.
