So without further ado, let's dive into today's episode. Today we're going to talk about a concept that many of you might be familiar with and many of you may have never even heard of.

we are going to be talking about the Kabbalah. And for many of you guys, maybe that's a familiar term, but for those who don't know, the Kabbalah is a Jewish form of mysticism. So I want to preface this by saying it's not about religion. The Kabbalah is more about spirituality and energy and the connection to the universe. And it's just another way to look at

all the amazing forms of wisdom and concepts and spiritual notions that are out there in the world. As many of you guys know, I am Jewish and even though I didn't grow up in a religious house and I don't necessarily consider myself religious, I consider myself more spiritual, meaning I love to learn about different cultures and different belief systems and combine it to make and mold my own spirituality.

I do think that the Kabbalah is something that is so interesting and something that has so much wisdom. And it's the Kabbalah, something that I've been diving into recently. And it's all about these esoteric practices. It's a Jewish form of mysticism. So mysticism isn't about religion. It's not about rules. So it's more about the spiritual connection to the universe and the exploration of nature and more esoteric teachings like the tree of life and the Zohar and

different symbols and practices and concepts. And there are many, many people who study the Kabbalah or practice Kabbalistic teachings that aren't even Jewish. So I just want to preface this by saying like the Kabbalah is something that anyone can learn that many of you guys can learn and research on your own. There's amazing practicalities.

practices and concepts that are taught in Kabbalistic teachings. Just like, for example, yoga is a very sacred practice that originated in India, but now people all over the world honor this practice, learn about it, learn all the wisdom. This is kind of the same thing with the Kabbalah. It's open for everyone. Everyone can learn these principles. So recently in my life, I've really been diving in to different Kabbalistic practices and teachings.

and learning a lot about that. And so in today's episode, I want to share with you guys 10 Kabbalistic teachings that are going to change your life. Number one is pause what a pleasure. So in the Kabbalah, they believed that many of us live in this very reactive nature. And this idea actually exists in all

different spiritual belief systems. And that's why many people believe in the power of meditation and mindfulness to really help us get through that reactive nature. And so pause what a pleasure is kind of another mindfulness technique in the Kabbalah that has really changed my life.

So what happens when something triggers us in our life? That actually causes us to go down into this reactive nature. So for example, a business deal falls through, we miss the exit on the freeway, we go through a friendship breakup, someone cheats on us, like all these things happen in our lives that trigger an emotional response and put us through a reactive nature. So many of us respond very impulsively and aggressively and react instead of respond.

The idea of pause with a pleasure allows us to take back our power, take back our energy and respond to things instead of react.

So when something triggers you and puts you in that reactive nature, the first thing that you have to do during that moment is pause and say to yourself, what a pleasure. Because whatever it is that triggered your reactive nature, it has welcomed in a clear understanding of who you are, of what experiences you are going through, and it is actually a test or challenge from the universe to awaken something deeper within you, to allow you to dive deeper into yourself.

And what happens a lot of the time when we're in this reactive nature, we can't see that. We react right away. So we don't see the spiritual essence of things that happen in our lives. We're only focused on the 3D and on the physical. Let me give you a good example of this. You've been talking to a guy or you've been talking to a girl for a couple of weeks. Boom, out of nowhere, they ghost you. They don't answer your text messages. They don't answer your calls. There's no contact. They just cut you off, cut you loose. They're dead. They ghosted you. Pop.

Pause, what a pleasure. Instead of reacting, letting that situation dictate your self-worth, letting that situation dictate how you feel about yourself, about your value, you're going to take a pause. You're going to say, what a pleasure. Because what a pleasure it is that the universe is showing you how this person feels about you. They're inconsistent, they don't know how to communicate, and they don't even value enough and respect you enough to tell you, oh, it's not going to work out.

Pause, what a pleasure. What a pleasure it is that the universe is sending me this opportunity to rise up above and reignite my own sense of self-worth and self-love and not let how somebody else feels about me or how somebody else treats me dictate my value. Pause, what a pleasure. So do you kind of see how this idea worked?

When you catch yourself going down that loop, that reactive state, you allow yourself to pause, you take a breath, and instead of focusing on the problem, you see how this might be a blessing. And obviously this concept is a lot easier said than done and it's a big challenge, especially when things are really triggering to us and things are really painful. But this tool and this technique really helps you ground yourself back

and back into your soul and it's giving you an opportunity to overcome any obstacle or any test or any hardships that's being sent your way. So the whole point of Pause What a Pleasure is not about just ignoring the issue or the problem at hand, it's just being proactive about it and solving every single problem or every single experience in your life from a place of self-love, from a place of grace and integrity and not from a reactive state.

And you guys know how I always say everything happens for a reason and for your highest good. Pause with a pleasure is basically that idea in the same thought, just in different words. It's just this idea that even though we don't understand the situation at hand, even though we feel hurt, triggered, in pain, we're suffering, whatever that emotion may be,

We know in our hearts that whatever we are going through right now is asking us to rise up and be the best versions of ourselves. It's a lesson in disguise. It's an opportunity for growth. And when we say pause with a pleasure, we claim back our power from the situation and we elevate our consciousness and our energy. Kabbalistic principle number two, accept reality as it is.

not as what it should be. Basically this idea that we all have to start living our life with a deep sense of acceptance and gratitude. And you guys know how in the podcast I've mentioned about Abraham Hicks and I talked about the path of least resistance. It coexists with this idea that when we keep resisting our life, forcing our reality, going against the flow of energy and the flow of our life, we cause our own suffering. We block ourselves off from good, from happiness, from joy, from abundance, from

And when we start living our life and accepting life for what it is and not what it should be. So for instance, not trying to change other people, accepting them for who they are, not who you want them to be, accepting that sometimes people walk out of your life. Sometimes you have losses. Sometimes you face rejection and that's what it is in that moment.

but that doesn't say anything about you and accepting that moment as it is and not trying to mold it or change it into being how you think it should be allows you to step into your power and remember that sometimes things don't work out the way we want them to because they work out the way we truly need them to. When we live our life with true acceptance for what is going on around us and we stop trying to resist things outside of us and instead we focus on ourselves, on what we can control, the things outside of us change.

So nothing changes unless nothing changes. And when things change inside of you, things change outside of you. But you can't change things outside of you if you've changed nothing inside of you. Kabbalistic principle number three is the concept of tikkun. So on a personal level, tikkun involves this idea that every soul, every person has come into this lifetime, into this incarnation as a way to invoke inner transformation and personal growth.

So by overcoming your challenges, by striving for improving yourself, your relationships, your individual relationship with yourself, you're contributing to the overall repair of the world. When you heal parts of yourself, when you work on your shadows, on your wounds, you're repairing parts of yourself. And in that way, you're contributing to the overall repairing of the world. So the word tikkun translates to repairing or mending. So it's basically this idea that every soul came into the world with tikkun.

as a means to mend themselves, repair the parts of themselves that need healing, and ultimately contributing to their vibration and healing the rest of the world around them. So it's very similar to the concept of karma, where souls come into this world with soul contract to fulfill different karmas and to fulfill different purposes. Tikkun is just another way to put it. It

this idea that when we come into the world, every soul has their own individual tikkun, which often also coincides with your purpose, your gifts, your talents, your passions. All of these things have to do with your tikkun because when you do your tikkun in the world, when you go after your passions and your purpose and your dreams, for instance, I'm

I believe that part of my tikkun is doing this podcast. Part of my purpose in the world is having claim your power, helping other people, sharing my own experiences, my own beliefs, my own wisdom in hopes of helping empower others. That is part of my tikkun. So you have to start asking yourself, what are you passionate about? What lights you up? What do you believe is your purpose in the world? What is your tikkun? And how can you help others?

Can you act on it? How can you connect to your tikkun? Because when you connect to your tikkun, you're connecting to yourself. And when you connect to yourself, you're connecting to others. And that helps repair the world as a whole. Kabbalistic principle number four is hold opposites and recognize that the qualities you judge, criticize, or see in others also exist in you. So it's this idea that everything in life is a mirror and a reflection of self.

When you criticize somebody else, when you judge somebody else, it's because a part of them is triggering that which exists in you too. So the way that you see others is a reflection of yourself. So there are probably, you know, thousands of people that listen to this podcast and each person, the way they individually view me is actually a reflection of themselves. Now, I know you guys, I know my listeners, and I know you guys are the most amazing people, but

And so when you see the good qualities in me, when you're empowered by something I have to say, when you're inspired by my energy, that's actually a reflection of you because I'm triggering that positive thing inside of you. But that goes also for the opposite. When you see bad qualities,

qualities in other people, when you criticize, when you judge, for instance, people who judge you for trying to do something with your life. Do you know how many people judge me for trying to start a podcast when I had zero listeners? Many, many people. And those people were highly triggered by my courage and my bravery to go after what I want. And so they were judging me and they were criticizing me, but they were actually reflecting a parts of themselves that needed healing. So I invite you to really be aware of

the type of reactions and the way that you view other people in your life. Because if you get jealous of other people, if you get angry, if you get triggered by other people, that's showing you a part of yourself that might need some more love, that might need some more attention. And same goes for the other way. When you see someone and think that they are beautiful or inspiring or amazing, that's a reflection of you. That's you and you're just getting that mirrored back to yourself.

And that's why one of the favorite things that I love to say when I get like a compliment, like you're so beautiful, you're so amazing. I love responding by saying, I'm a reflection of you. And you guys should try it out on your friends or on strangers who compliment you because it's such a warm thing to say to somebody else. Like when somebody else comes up to you and sees your beauty and acknowledges that, you acknowledge it back to them and you're creating this amazing circle of love and good energy together. Kabo.

The Realistic Principle #5 is the idea that the divine, the universe, God, whatever term you want to use that feels comfortable for you, it's the idea that it coexists with the creative process. So creation is our nature. We are co-creators and when we create,

We connect to the divine. We connect directly to the universe. The best example that I can give you of this idea kind of in physical action is when you have sex with someone and when you are trying to get pregnant as a woman, you are coming together in a creative process. Yes, you know, it's physical. There's pleasure and all that. But on a spiritual sense, you're coming together in a creative process and hope.

of getting pregnant, of getting a child to be born and to grow inside of you as a woman. And you're physically creating another child, another soul, all through the creative process. And that coexists with the divine. And that's why I always tell people like,

be super aware as a woman of who you let inside of you. Like this is kind of going off topic of the Kabbalah for a second, but for my ladies, like your body, your womb, everything about that is sacred. It's literally from the divine. And when you let random people get inside of you, when you give people

access like that to your energy, you can be depleting yourself of your life source. But that also goes that when it's the right person and it's with the empowering person, it's actually so gravitating and aligned and lifts you up. And so it's so important to be aware of where you're putting your energy in the creative process, not just in that sense, but when you're working. If you work a nine to five job that makes you absolutely miserable, you're

that makes you hate your life, that drains you of your creativity, of your purpose, of your inspiration, you are disconnecting from source. You're disconnecting from life energy. And that's something that I always tell people because I think a lot of people live in this very fear mentality of like,

they are scared to go after their true passions and their true goals because they think that they'll fail. But when they do that, when you go after your real passions, your real goals, the real relationship that you want, the dream, the life that you truly want to build with yourself, you're getting closer to the universe. You're getting closer to the divine and source.

And so you are attracting way more infinite support and way more ease into your life and way more alignment when you go after your heart and your soul and your spirit because you're getting closer to the source of who you are and to your authentic self. And so I think that's something really important that I want to emphasize is you getting closer to your authentic self and you getting closer to who you are connects you deeper to your divine source. And when you're connected deeper to the divine source,

You're connecting more to infinite abundance, to infinite joy, to love, to prosperity, to health, all of those amazing vibrations because you are aligning with the highest you. Kabbalistic principle number six is true acts of giving are done without an agenda or strings attached. And this one is so important because I think this applies to everyone listening, including myself.

When we give to someone truly, are we giving to receive something back? Are we giving because we truly want to give without any strings attached? And this principle really coexists with people pleasing. So for my people pleasers, my recovering people pleasers, my ex people pleasers, whoever it may be, listen up.

Because as a people pleaser, one of our tendencies, because I used to be a huge people pleaser, you guys know, but one of our biggest tendencies is to overgive, to overshare, to overcontribute, to overgive our energy, our love, our support, our time. And this makes everyone around us that's on the receiving end think we're really generous, we're really kind, we're really supportive. But let's be real for a second.

When you are a people pleaser and you over give and over give and over give, are you actually giving or are you getting something back? Are you actually giving from the heart or are you giving in hopes that other people will think that you're giving? In hopes that other people will accept you and value you? In hopes that other people will think that you're kind and generous? In hopes that other people will finally see you and accept you for who you are and value

value you. Let's be real for a second, especially for my girlies who are huge people pleasers in relationships. When you over give your partner, are you doing it because you genuinely want to give? Or are you doing it because subconsciously you feel like that's going to give you a boost of happiness, a boost of acceptance? You're going to feel like somebody finally sees you. When you give to somebody, you finally feel like somebody values you or accepts you or sees your worth.

Because subconsciously, when we over-overgive, this is really like the root of why people pleasing and why I stand against people pleasing. And I think we should end people pleasing. And if you're a people pleaser, listen to my past episodes on it. Because I'm telling you, people pleasing holds you back the most. Because it's not truly generosity and it's not true giving. It's actually depleting you of your energy. And it's taking other people's energy too subconsciously without you even knowing it.

So when you give to someone, ask yourself, am I giving it truly because I want to? Because there's such a big difference between, for example, my best friend calling me asking me to pick her up something from the store that she needs that she's not going to be able to do. Of course.

Of course I want to do that. No strings attached. She's my best friend. I love my best friend. She has shown to be loyal and consistent with me. So I'm going to go and I'm going to pick that thing up because I'm generous with my best friend and I care about her. I don't expect anything back except the fact that we are friends and that there's an equal exchange of energy. But let me give you a different example now. Let's say I'm going out with this guy. We've been seeing each other for like two weeks. We're not even dating officially yet. This man calls you up. He's like,

Like, I want you to cook me dinner. Come over, make me dinner. I like, I've heard all about your food, da da da, like cook me. So you go over and you cook this man dinner who you barely even know, who hasn't even asked you to be his girlfriend yet. There's no consistency. And you're saying you're doing it because you're just a generous person. You're just a generous girlie.

Are you just a generous girly or are you hoping that when you cook him dinner, that's going to show you that you care for him, that you are interested in him and that's going to push him to make the next move, to value you more, to see what you bring to the table. Do you guys see what I'm saying? So this is why people pleasing really coexists with this Kabbalistic principle because when we give with no agenda, we help raise the vibration and we heal everyone around us.

But when we give because we think that we're giving but we're actually doing it from the ego because there's something that we're getting back from the person, even if it's subconscious, that ends up holding you back and the other person back. So before you say yes to something, before you give something to someone or give your time or your energy or whatever it is,

Which by the way, I'm all about being generous. I'm not saying like be ignorant and self-righteous and never give to other people. But I'm just saying ask yourself what place am I doing it for? Because if you're doing it because you feel forced or you feel like you have to, then you're not actually doing it from a generous giving place. You're doing it from an attachment. Kabbalistic principle number seven is the concept of ensof.

and self means never ending that's what it translates to and this concept is this idea that god and source energy exists everywhere it's beyond all definition it's beyond all description it's infinite it's limitless and it's unknown so it literally exists everywhere and the

flowers and the trees and the air and the people you meet and the food you eat god and the universe and source energy whatever you want to call it i'm just saying all the terms so you guys all feel included in it source energy exists everywhere it is limitless and so that means that even through the hardships even through the pain even through the betrayal the rejection source energy exists there there's a reason that thing is happening it's happening in your highest good

even if you don't understand it. And when we question, when we resist it, when we try to force it, we are actually disconnecting from the end self, from the source energy that already exists there. And this idea of end self has brought me so much peace in my life because when there have been moments in my life where things were really hard and I've questioned a lot of pain and a lot of suffering,

I try to remind myself that there's end self. Source energy is there through that pain, through those moments, through that rejection, through that heartbreak, through that betrayal. It exists in all of those segments. And even though I can't see it or maybe I can't feel it,

It's there. And the more that I believe it and I have faith that the energy in the universe is always there by my side, even when I can't see it or even when it doesn't make sense to me in that moment, the more I believe in it, the closer I get to actually feeling a sense of peace and a sense of hope in my life. Kabbalistic principle number eight, and this is one of my favorite ones and I think you guys are really going to like it, is the idea of alpnimi. Alpnimi translates to inner light.

And it's this idea that all of us around the world have an inner light. And it is our job that when we are born, when we're going through this life experience and this human life is to connect to that opening me to connect to that inner light and allow that inner light to be our guide, to be our compass and transcend our limitations. Everyone in the world possesses a spark of that inner light. Everyone is.

is made up of this energy. It exists in all of us. Just not every single person is tapped into it. And all of our inner lights, that's what make up the universe. And it's crazy because if you ask a lot of kids that are really, really young what their definition of the universe or God is, they'll give you some component of that concept in their explanation. And that's genuinely something that I've believed in since I was five years old.

I remember when I was five years old in the car and I asked my mom what God is and she asked me back, what do you think God is? And my answer was something along the terms of, I believe we all make up God. I don't think God is outside of us. I think it's a light that exists in all of us. And obviously I said it in like, you know, a childlike way, but

that is a concept, this olpnimi is this concept of inner light that has been prevalent with me since I was so young and I've been taking it everywhere with me. And this idea helps you claim back the power of your life because you know that that light exists inside of you. This concept always reminds me of the hermit card in tarot. And if you guys know the different tarot cards, the hermit is basically this card all about

self work, all about coming into your soul, back into yourself. Sometimes it can represent isolation, but it's all about coming inside yourself. And in the image of the tarot card, the hermit is holding this like little lantern of light and he's slouching down. He's all gray and he's looking down, but a part of him is holding that inner light and

So it's this idea that all of us have this inner light, but a lot of us aren't tapped into it. A lot of us let our own darkness, our own shadows overshine our light, but that inner light always exists with you. And this is what I want to remind you that even on your darkest days, even when you're suffering, even when you're in so much pain and you feel like you're at a breaking point, you can always come back to that light because that light will never run out. No one can unplug that light. It's

always inside of you and you always have access to it. It's an energy and a spark that exists in all of us and in the moments when you feel the most down, that is your opportunity to connect to that inner light. Kabbalistic principle number nine and this is a concept that I've already talked about so many times on the podcast but we'll look at it from the Kabbalah's perspective.

But it's every challenge we face is sent by the universe for only one reason. And the reason is, which the Kabbalists believe, is to grow and become our best selves. And so many people will tell you this concept because it probably exists in every single spiritual or religious sector. This idea that things happen for us, not to us. And in the moments when you're feeling the most in pain, the most heartbroken, the most lost...

That is the universe sending you an experience, an opportunity for growth so that you come out of it having risen up, having being stronger, having getting up after the fall, having calling in your power and growing and becoming the best version of you. I want you to think right now of an experience in your life.

that at the time when you were going through it, I felt like the worst thing in the world, the end of the world. You were lost, you were confused, you didn't have any answers, you were so low. And now after time has passed, you see the experience totally different. You've grown, you've empowered, you've aligned, you're a different version of yourself.

Often these like this example for a lot of people that comes to mind is a breakup and a relationship ending, but it could also be so much other stuff. It could be a loss of opportunity, a loss of a job, you moving somewhere, you not getting into your dream college.

a death in your family, like there are so many different things like this that come in mind to a lot of different people. I want you to think of that thing for you and ask yourself now as an older, wiser version of yourself, how have you grown from this experience? And now can you look back and truly see that maybe you went through that experience for a reason and maybe that experience has taught you a lot about yourself and

in your life, in your soul. And maybe, just maybe, you were meant to go through that pain and through that sorrow so that you can rise from it and become a higher version of you, which you are right now. Kabbalistic principle number 10 to end the episode is the concept of Kavanaugh.

Kavana translates to intention. And this concept is this idea that when we are intentional about our lives, about our actions, about our words, about our thoughts, we can change our life and we can change our reality. So when we are intentional about the things we want to call in, the things we want to experience, the thoughts we want to think, the feelings

feelings we want to feel, when we have that sincere intention, that Kavanah, that is like our compass. That is the thing that truly guides us in life. When you engage in a manifestation, in a conversation with the universe, when you are praying, when you are journaling, when you're connecting to that higher power, but you are led with intention, with Kavanah, you're not only going through the notions of what you're calling in, but you're also activating

seeking a connection with the divine, with the universe, with the sacred moment. And that allows you to have a very profound understanding of who you are, who you're meant to be, and how you're meant to serve others in the world. And when it comes to Kavanah, to intention, the emphasis is really on the inner. So when you are truly coming from a place of intention, of good intention, of being connected to your heart and your soul and your spirit,

and your grace and your integrity and your honesty and your loyalty and your goodness.

that energy attracts so much more good into your life because your intention is pure. When you operate from negative intentions, from jealousy, from revenge, from attachment, from all the low frequency intentions, that's what's going to be the Kavanah to your life. That's what's going to be leading you towards your path. And so you really have to ask yourself, what intention, what Kavanah do I want to lead me? And

And what energy is of that intention? And how can I continuously connect back to my intention every single day in my life so that I can live my most empowered reality? And this is something I'll end this episode by a little ritual that I think will really help you connect to your kavanah and your intention.

And it's this idea that throughout the day, I invite you to take little pauses, little checks with yourself, like little check-in. Whatever you're doing, you're doing the dishes, you're on a walk, you're doing work, whatever it may be. Do a little mindfulness check-in and ask yourself,

what is my intention right now? What energy and what state of consciousness am I operating from? And if it's positive and if it's optimistic and if it's hopeful and if it's loving, you go girl, keep going. And if it's negative and if it's daunting and if it's low, how can you in that moment become aware to that?

and shift it into the Kavanah and the intention that's really going to serve you. So I'm going to end this podcast episode with one of my favorite quotes from the Kabbalah that really, you know, emphasizes the idea of unity and connection. And I think with so many things going on in the world right now, it's one quote that really leads me with positivity and hope and love and light.

In the oneness of all things, the divine light permeates every corner of existence. Beautiful souls, thank you so much for joining me in today's episode. As always, I will talk to you next week. Bye. Yep, that's who you think it is. The Grimace Mug. The Hello Kitty Keychain. Barbie herself.
