Listen to the previous episode) where Fr. Rob and Fr. George Elliot discussed veiling sacred images. Beginning with the 5th Sunday of Lent until Good Friday. also known as Passiontide. This is a means of preparing the faithful for the most sacred time of year. It reminds the faithful that we may not understand (see) the cross until it is revealed to us by the Church. And is presented to us in light of the Gospel. Fr. Rob and Fr. George discuss how Paul referred to the cross as a stumbling block to the Greeks and scandal to the Jews. In some ways, we can fall into either of these categories. Where are you in your faith journey? Do you have a hard time understanding the death of Jesus on the cross?
